Josh Smith has also now been hit with the injury bug with a sprained left knee. These playoffs are getting rediculous and I'm kinda glad the Mavericks won't be representatives of it years from now.

Nets unveiled their new logo today.

I really like it, it's simple and classic. At least the fans will have something nice to look at while the team is losing 60 games.

Nice to see they didn't go with "Brooklyn New Yorkers".

It's crazy how the Knicks might have had a better chance in the playoffs if they'd just lost 2 more games during the regular season. Unless LeBron or Wade blows out an ACL, they're going to win the title this year <_<

If I remember it right, the Knicks deliberately lost enough games in that '99 lockout season to improve their chances of getting past the first round. And it worked.

Against the Heat no less.

If I had to compare 2010's players to 2000's players, I would start with Carmelo and Tracy McGrady. Is there a more obvious pair?

Knicks finally win a playoff game. Anyone think Jeremy Lin suits up for game five?

I wouldn't be surprised if they play Lin (provided the doctors clear him), but I'd want his minutes limited.

I'm not really sure how big of a factor he can be for the Knicks; the Heat pretty much blunted his effectiveness the last time they played.

Besides, Miami's going to play the Knicks 8 vs 5 >_>

Breaking their playoff drought at the cost of Baron Davis' knee is a steep price. I'm not entirely sold yet on Mike Bibby turning into their version of Robert Horry; i.e., ineffective during the regular season, but valuable in the playoffs.

Next time the NBA has its season shortened by a lockout, they should let their teams expand their rosters to deal with injuries.
