What to do with my steam coupon

They at least have a weekend deal each weekend, the lastest one should still be running for about three hours (age of empire 3 complete at 50% of). But i don´t know if your vouch is good for stuff thats already on sale. I guess it should be, why would steam have waited to make it count before the 2ed?

I highly doubt that there will be any kind of big ass spring sale before these vouches are not valid anymore.
