I'd been interested in this for awhile but the trailer exceeded my expectations - it looks really good. Gary Oldman as a villain is always entertaining and Tom Hardy and Guy Pearce are awesome. And it looks like Shia LaBeouf wants to be an actual actor now and not just some douche in front of a green screen.

Oh and it's co-written by Nick Cave. Yes, that Nick Cave.

Given the absolutely insane sequel to Gladiator that Nick Cave wrote, this movie immediately interests me.

Yeah, that looks pretty sweet. Though, I was hoping to come in here to see a trailer for the other 'Lawless' in production, with Christian Bale, Rooney Mara, Ryan Gosling and a few others. I'm guessing that film will get a name change.

Will be interesting to see if Shia's any good in this, because he could come out looking awful next to Hardy, Pearce or Oldman.

Actually, Terrance Malik specifically gave up the title to this movie (it was previously titled The Wettest County in the World) because he's a big fan of the director, John Hillcoat (The Road).
