Using real world updates in TEW2010 trial?

Just wondering, is this possible? I just attempted it and it came back with a whole load of errors.. it's not going to say something like 'you cannot use a mod in this trial' or something if I fix them all, is it?

Why yes, yes it will.

At least with 2008 it did, I can't say for sure with 2010. When I trialed 2008 you HAD to use the Cornellverse.

You can use mods for the trial, just fix all the errors and you'll be fine.

The trial only allows you to play in January 2010 (it states this in the pop-up message at the start). If you're attempting to use a mod set in a different time frame, you'll almost certainly get errors as the dates will all be incorrect. You can still play the mod, it just won't be as the mod maker intended.

Running indefinitely would defeat the point of it being a trial. It lasts for the entirety of January 2010.
