Ok, so on Sunday I have a computer geek visiting me.

They will want to play some LAN games over my network.

However, I don't have many.

So, I ask everyone here to suggest their favourite multiplayer / online LAN games for me to consider prior to me thrashing this airhead.

I have at the moment:

Red Alert 2.

Unreal Tournament Demo.

Clearly this won't last us very long.

So... please help.

I like playing Battlefield 1942 over the internet.

Other online games ive played Day of Defeat, Counter Strike. I think there is also a way to play the GTA games over LAN or the internet im not too sure tho.

It also needs to be able to run on a slightly shitty computer (i.e. decent everything except graphics card)

And ideally it should be fun for 2 people, plus bots or whatever. Counterstrike is a team based game, and 1 person on each team isn't much fun. :P
