I just watched the trailer for the papers one. It looks like the sort of thing I'd really enjoy. Is there a particular purpose to it? Do you "win" at all?

You have to let a bunch of people through each day to make more money. I think your family gets sick and stuff so you have to pay for medicine and heat and food. You get infractions for letting people through you shouldn't have. More seals and stuff you have to check comes up to make it harder. People will pay you money to get through without valid ID's and passports, and you need the money to support your family so you have to either let them through and take the money or not.

This is what it looks like pretty deep in it I guess: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DHLpqRsQ_xU

Okay, so Papers Please is one of the most unique games I've ever played. It's incredible and conveys the chilling Soviet atmosphere better than..anything really. Thanks for pointing it out!

This review pretty much gets to grips with what I like about: http://www.telegraph.co.uk/technology/video-games/video-game-reviews/10271115/Papers-Please-review.html

It really is a great find! Did you try Republica? That's a nice game if you want to pass a little time. Super simple, but you can lose really quick.
