I don't think you need to hold shift and CTRL to resize properly. Just CTRL. At least that's how it works for me.

I've discovered there is a lasso tool and a "magic wand" selection, but whenever I do that the edges of the cut are really unclean. There is a useful tolerance setting, but that doesn't make much difference for this problem. If there is something like that 'feather' tool you guys were talking about, where might it be?

Do you have the feather on Kirkland?

I ask because the edges are very rough and choppy. Turning the feather on between 1 - 2 will smooth that out.

I'm trying to create a logo for a promotion and am struggling with curing my text. I have my path cut to go in a semi circle from one half of the logo to the other, but when I select "Text Along Path" option it only puts it halfway. I'm wondering if it won't let the text appear upside down?

I'm trying to upload a picture to my photobucket account but it is taking forever. I'll edit it in if/when it uploads.
