Really shit. Loved the Royle Family and Mrs Merton, never knew she wrote for Fast Show too

Yeah, always loved The Royle Family growing up. 

Apparently Noel Gallagher paid tribute to her at a gig last night - the opening theme for the show was great. Somebody said that Craig Cash (Dave in Royle Family/Malcolm in Mrs Merton) was the first DJ to give Oasis exposure so their connections go way back.

Losing her and Victoria Wood within weeks of each other is terrible - two utterly brilliant writers, gone. I learned a lot when I was younger poring through the Royle Family script book (more for the dialogue than the action, obvs ).
