TEW2013: Real World Update: February 2014

Recommended Posts

Wrestling is Fun! will continue because it has been treated as Chikara's Developmental/Sister promotion. I believe it is the only Wrestling Is! promotion that existed before the ARG.

Based off cagematch

Wrestling is Respect was Pro Wrestling Respect

Wrestling is Heart was School of Roc

Wrestling is Intense was FIGHT

El Hijo de Santo set as retired wrestler

Santo isn't retired yet though, only injured; albeit seriously.

From what I've read on Cub's blog Santo was pretty vague about how long he would be gone for, possibly this whole year, possibly 6 months. However, he did also say he wants to team with his son when he recovers, so he does at least have an intention to wrestle again (rather than retire), and as he never actually stated he was retiring he should probably just be given a spinal injury for 10-12 months.

Sorry for the double post, but I was researching for a pic of the NWA Heritage Tag team belts and found out that both the NWA Heritage and NWA Heritahe Tag Team belts went under a name change to the CWFH Heritage and Heritage Team belts and belong to, well, CWFH

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/CWFH_Heritage_Tag_Team_Championship

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/CWFH_Heritage_Heavyweight_Championship

According to the ROH website, Silas Young is with ROH.

Jimmy Snuka, Jr. is set to "Loyalty to Jimmy Snuka." He is legit related to Jimmy Snuka so he should be set to Blood Relative.

Every worker is set to debut when they are 18 years old, kinda bums me out that it has guys like Batista as a 27 year pro when he only debuted in 2000 :(

That is down to the fact the database was converted from a TEW05 database a couple years back before the debut years option was added the problem is with the amount of workers you seriously have to take a couple months just to get through them all.

Feel free to DL my TEW10 database and convert it if you really, really want all the debuts closer to reality.

If I remember correctly he's actually adopted, which is probably why it's not a Blood relationship. But that's really a judgement call.

I guess that explains it. Always thought he was his son lol. Sorry

So... No Alpha Female in the database?? I've searched on every name I know for her :)

The Alpha Female?

Damn... Idiot

Next question... Extreme Tiger has signed with TNA under the name Ultimate Tiger, but has only wrestled once on Xplosion and his future role in unassigned. Would you guys put him in OVW, in TNA, or wait until he debuts on TV?

Considering TNA have been touring the UK recently he obviously wasnt flown over, I'd say wait and see, technically the TNA/OVW development relationship has ended but according to Spud in an interview they still work together and some talent still train and work out there so thats more a FYI in regards to that relationship.

Yeah, I watch OVW and a lot of TNA talents have remained part of their program well past the time when the deal was said to end. OVW only took down the TNA logos on its website a couple of weeks ago. I'm not sure what relationship TNA has with OVW but there's some kind of relationship there since Jessie Godderz, Rob Terry, Jay Bradley, Lei'D Tapa, and Rockstar Spud all kept working OVW well into the last couple of weeks.

Speaking of which, I don't have the database in front of me to check but if you have Family Wrestling Entertainment in I'd give them a working agreement with TNA if they don't already have it. I was going through some of the company's highlights and results the other day and it looks like TNA talent like Velvet Sky, Brooke Tessmacher, and Robbie E consistently appear on every show FWE has run. They also use TNA trademarked names like Angelina Love and Rosita and I saw something where the owner said "We can call her Angelina now" so I think that implies a deal was made between the two companies.

It says they havent signed Tiger yet but are closing a deal

- PWInsider reports that TNA has signed independent women’s wrestler Santana Garrett. There have been rumors of her singing but it’s now confirmed. They are also close to signing a deal with Lucha Libre star Extreme Tiger.
