  1. Yup that's it! Hilarious..
  2. The Colbert Report has a small hint of a sense of the old daily show with Craig Kilborn.
  3. The british one is amazingly brillian the US one is good, but different. Not all characters were supposed to neccessarilly fully match the British office...so there are aspects that made the british one what it was missing from the American one. I never got into the American one, though I loved Steve Corell on the daily show. My top favs is the 'Office Fun Day?', where Brent's higher ups do a great dance number, and Brent responds with just rediculously awkard dance number; training day; The epidisode where everone goes out drinking and Brent says something really rude to a girl drunk. Gareth gets invited to a 2 on 1 3some with another bloke. Antoher favourite is when Brent gives the speech ath the company...where he uses music for a his exit. And you gotta love the Music video in the official special. I very much love the show. Ricky Jervais' solo specials are also quite classic.
  4. never had to knock on wood, by the mighty mighty bosstones had a cool tune. Should listen to a band called TUATARA...features the trumpet, but no where close to jazz or r&b.
  5. Iron Maiden -- With Blaze Faith No More
  6. Wow, how many people were at this show. Catch 22 has a following in Montreal? I have seen Catch in a while. They played some show nearby about 5 months ago but I missed it. I used to see them atlo a a really small club in Brooklyn, NY. Did they play alot of songs from the other albums? The first one; I can't remember the name of it...but the one with "Hey Sergio!" on it....

    Manowar

Tonight I see Manowar (with Rhapsody) for the first time in about 5 years. Needless to say, I am somewhat pumped. Hail, Hail, Hail and Kill. Carry on.
  8. They are cool. Saw them with Overkill earlier this year.
  9. RJ will not have his outings cut short. He's got too much pride for that. RJ wants to go the distance every single time.....the problem is you can't do that in the AL. The Red Sox showed that they have absolutely no fear of him. He's definitely hasn't looked as the same RJ to me as he did even last year. That's not necessarily his fault....he is 41 years old but the lesser hitters on the Red Sox managed to knock him around pretty good.
  10. You couldn't be anymore dead on there. The Yankees are really beginning to look their age. Back to Heilman for a second though. Something tells me that he knew this was basically his last chance to get it right. Hopefully Rick Peterson isn't done with him yet, and he keeps improving. ←
  11. Hmmm. What to listen to? The new Rammstein? Maybe the new Dark Tranquility? Haven't listen to Pearl Jam's 10, for a while. That Vanden Plas CD is looking pretty tempting. No wait...I'm in an Anti-Flag mood. No. I want to listen to Meshuggah's Catch 33. Fuck that. I'm listening to Live.

  14. Afew ppl...(well, actually, one) has experessed difficuilty in finding Tenzan pictures. It's not that hard I dont' think. Check the puro sites. But here's some help in case we're all stuck.
  15. looking forward to see what the results are. Should be pretty competitive. Also made a couple clarifications - and modifications to prizes.
  16. Disclaimer - Before the questions start, pls note that we ran a DVD trivia contest a few month ago, which defaulted. The questions given to me were inaccurate...and thus the answers were void, due to the misleading nature of the questions. I've tried to let each person who entered know one by one. So this is for the masses. --------------------------------------------------------------------------- Rules This is essentionally a diary banner/sig for the WWF of which my WWF Diary is based on. The winner will recieve 5 (DVDS and/or CDs - Your choice..mix and match) of their choice from HERE. The runner up will recieve 3 (DVDs and/or CDs) from the same site. The 3rd place choice will recieve 2 DVDs and/or CDs from the same site, with additional material (T-Shirts, etc.) If there are not enough entrees (which there should be) there will only be one winner who will then recieve 10 DVDS/CDs w/ T-Shirts, extras etc. Guidelines You are creating a graphic banner (diary sig) for the "current" WWF, in the year 1998. The 500X200 graphic should revolve around heels Hiroyoshi Tenzan, current WWF Triple Crown Champion, his manager, Antonio Inoki, along with top faces, Steve Corino & Vince McMahon. You have the option to include, Brian Lee, Owen Hart, and Piere Oulette in the graphic; three top wrestlers in the banner, as well. The theme is "The X-Factor", and you must use our 'official logo'; An example of this concept is in my sig. Except, it's obviously under a set of differerent guidlines. Also Vince McMahon is the focal point. Which we don't want. It gives the Federation that nasty "Attitude" Feeling. UGH. But alas, AJ did it. So it's still fn' good  , despite my personal anti-'attitude' bad-ass WWF bias. If you need help on finding pictures, http://www.obsessedwithwrestling.com/ Antonio Inoki "Good Luck!!" DEADLINE: Februrary 15th, 2005 (Two Weeks From Now) Curt. of your friends at EWB!
  17. rip dimebag. Another shot in the heart of metal.
  18. Yankee's in six. They'll probably be stopped by Shilling, but can (have already) knock up Arroyo, Lowe, and will FINALLY get Wakefield's #. That'll be the difference. They have to hit Wakefield SOONER or later.
