Its like a mirror. I was working on my mega pack and shared a beta six months or so ago but my computer crashed and ate it and rapidshare ate that beta version. So I've been slowly working on rebuilding mine. I'm betting yours is finished before mine but sooner or later I play to release my own as well. There's just slight style differences between you and I as far as cuts and what I use for logo backgrounds. But hopefully soon i can give people options.

Hey, folks. My computer died on me a month or so ago and I lost a lot of stuff I was too stupid not to backup. Among those things were my personally kept database and my massive 10,000+ picture pack I spent the last year working on. I'm making piece with the fact that that was just all lost time and I have to start over but before I give up all hope I thought I'd ask if anyone downloaded the pack I put on Rapidshare awhile back? I remembered putting that up as a bit of a test towards the end of spring or start of the summer because I had meant to start sharing my pack regularly once I got it all in order. I went and found the original post and tried to download it myself but it looks like Rapidshare deleted all my stuff for some reason. So my last real chance here is that one of you fine folks downloaded it and still have it sitting on your harddrive. If you do I'd really appreciate you sharing it with me and I could all but guarantee that if you do I'll feel obliged to be your personal cutting bitch for the foreseeable future considering all the work you would have saved me. Thanks, folks. Love this community and have gotten so much from it over the years, I'm hoping you folks can pull off a miracle and give me one more thing here.

No, but its pretty much exactly like The Colons portraying Los Matadores or Hunico portraying Sin Cara. It wouldn't make sense to have them in as duplicates and its kind of a cheat since it gives you two fresh wrestlers. Personally, I say if a wrestler is pretty well confirmed as one of the Chikara (or anyone's) characters then they should be an alter ego. If there's some genuine doubt about it that's a different story but considering are both pretty prominent indy workers if we're confident they're the same guy than it seems like a huge error if they're both in there. Sure, it will make some Chikara games harder if you want to play a certain way but that's just a problem with the TEW game. If you really want to end around it with a "cheat" you always can import them in from an older database, but it seems odd for us to argue that the data should hold onto errors/duplicates for what's probably a niche booking idea.

Ok, with a little help from TheWho, the patron saint of this thread, I do believe I've solved my Photobucket problems. If I'm right these pictures SHOULD stay up for more than a couple of days. If it all works out I'll go back and re-upload my last few posts so those images show up too. Fingers crossed. I've had these two in my pack for awhile with no real use for them.

You mean the overall image? It's the regular size. If its showing up smaller it must be a computer thing. But you mean the wrestler him or herself? I like to fit them in at "bust" size. The top of the head out of the image and no nipples in the image are my rough guidelines. It's just a personal preference of what I think looks good. And damn it, my images are gone again. I don't understand it. Why can TheWho post here and his images stay up but my don't? Do I HAVE to buy Pro for Photobucket? I really love sharing with you guys and giving back to the community but I don't think I love it enough to pay. This is really frustrating so if anyone can help I'd appreciate it.

Haas announced his retirement when he left ROH but he never actually did. He's been competing in smaller companies ever since then and was a champ in Bruce Thorpe's Branded Outlaw Wrestling until a month or so ago. So unless there's been something more recent I'd leave him Active or at least Semi-Active.

The Candice & Joey show, it depends on your logic for the "known" function, does known mean its known they have a problem with the substance or does it just mean their known to use it, for example its pretty well known Steve Austin drinks but he has never had it effect his in ring performance so does that mean he shouldnt have it checked? RE: Lifestyles, it's a super-sensitive slider so caution is always advised. Unless Candice has been turning up to wrestling shows intoxicated, and it has been affecting her performance she should probably have zero per cent on the slider. Personally I would leave it completely off and not bother with the 'known' thing either since how she behaves at a non-wrestling event shouldn't really have bearing on the lifestyle stats. I wouldn't check it for Stone Cold either; basically the feature doesn't work that well - at least not for real world mods or scenarios, as if you look at some of the historical scenarios people are pinged all over the place for substances, which kills match and segment ratings far in excess of anything we saw in real life from these workers. Stone Cold may have been a massive alco but if it didn't show in his performances it shouldn't appear on the sliders because that is what they simulate. Yeah, the sliders should only really happen when they affect their lives or careers. You could tick Austin because he had legal problems and domestic abuse stuff years ago but that stuff seems to be behind him. But with Candice its just that she seems to like having drinks at parties or hanging out with friends, but then if you tick her she'd start driving drunk or showing up wasted for events. So at most maybe slide her personality stuff to a little more "social" or "liberal" or something. But I don't even know if that's worth it for what amounts to Joey recording her at parties and bars.

Yeah, I watch OVW and a lot of TNA talents have remained part of their program well past the time when the deal was said to end. OVW only took down the TNA logos on its website a couple of weeks ago. I'm not sure what relationship TNA has with OVW but there's some kind of relationship there since Jessie Godderz, Rob Terry, Jay Bradley, Lei'D Tapa, and Rockstar Spud all kept working OVW well into the last couple of weeks. Speaking of which, I don't have the database in front of me to check but if you have Family Wrestling Entertainment in I'd give them a working agreement with TNA if they don't already have it. I was going through some of the company's highlights and results the other day and it looks like TNA talent like Velvet Sky, Brooke Tessmacher, and Robbie E consistently appear on every show FWE has run. They also use TNA trademarked names like Angelina Love and Rosita and I saw something where the owner said "We can call her Angelina now" so I think that implies a deal was made between the two companies.

If I remember correctly he's actually adopted, which is probably why it's not a Blood relationship. But that's really a judgement call.

My pic pack is real names a lot and quite a few people one degree removed from wrestling like wrestler's kids. So some confusion was bound to happen. Sorry about that.

That doesn't really sound like a clear retirement to me. "My run may be coming to an end." "Whether I go or stay wrestling..." I'd say "Semi-Active" or "On Hiatus", personally. It sounds like he's contemplating retirement but hasn't made the decision yet. I wouldn't retire Tensai either considering the guy still wrestles pretty regularly from what I can tell. Obviously he's transitioned at least part time to those non-wrestling roles but he hasn't quit wrestling either. So I guess "Semi-Active" is the best compromise.

I really don't get how I blew through Photobucket's bandwith limit in two days. I haven't been able to figure out what I did wrong, how to get them back, or how to avoid it happening again. So I hate photobucket again. Yeah, I get you. Its a good idea and one I'm happy to support and help with. I guess I'm just having a hard time figuring out where to start with it. I have over 18K pictures in my pack and I wouldn't have any idea how to sort them by nationalities or regions. The easiest way I can figure to look for something like "European Wrestlers" would be to start with European wrestling rosters but I've already done a lot of that so I'm trying to figure out how to take what I have as a starter instead of starting from scratch. For now I'm going to go through my pack and see which of your placeholders I have. I've already found quite a few but I'm trying to figure out an easier way to do that than looking one by one.

How does this work, though? Like say I take European wrestlers how do I know who to go looking for? Are we working off your database so I should just load it up and sort by nationality?

I'm ready to help however you like. Just let me know how best to.
