  1. My problem is

If he stays dead, that really just kills any interest in The Night's Watch or The Wall, which seems like its going to be a huuuuuge focal point coming up. Now the Walkers might as well just roll through it because there's no one there we care about anymore.

Totally agree. I'm not gonna have much interest in a Wall/Night's Watch story without Jon there anymore except for maybe Davos taking a spot there now that Stannis and Shireen are gone. I'm definitely holding out hope it's just to try to keep people wondering. I don't see the point in having Melisandre show back up at the Wall it she can't work her Lord of Light stuff.

  2. Can't wait for Season Three of Silicon Valley especially if they go in the obvious direction from the way things played out.

HBO has me locked down on Sundays until Walking Dead comes back on. Looking forward to next week's debuts of True Detective Season 2 and Ballers.

  3. Pod and Brienne are going to be still watching over Winterfell and suddenly hear splashing behind them, which is odd as Winterfell is hundreds of miles away from the sea. They turn around and it's Gendry in his boat.

When Mace Tyrell arrived in Braavos, I honestly thought it was going to be some sailors had found Gendry, who had somehow been lost at sea. So disappointed it wasn't :(

I thought the same thing for a brief moment especially since Arya and Gendry had met before.

At least when Gendry finally turns up, he can challenge The Mountain with his sick new biceps.

  4. Just looking at 2016's movies has me excitied. Final X-Men movie (until the next reboot), Civil War, Doctor Strange (!), Suicide Squad, Batman vs. Superman ... omg.

    Deadpool.

This. I'm looking forward to Deadpool more than all of those movies except for Civil War.

  5. It's basically like they mixed the Prison Break Michael Scofield tattoo premise with The Blacklist. I think the premise itself is horrible for a TV series but could be an entertaining movie with the right script/actors.

I will always love Jamie Alexander  ever since I first saw her as "Relax dude, I'm 18" Tammy in Always Sunny.

  6. I'm so fucking pumped for Deadpool. I just really hope the movie studios don't hold it up to the other blockbuster comic book movies and shit on it saying "see! Rated R comic book movies are a bad idea!" when it doesn't do amazing numbers. They need to realize that not every comic book movie has to be kid friendly (even though I understand the movie studio stance to make as much money as possible) but you have endless amounts of material to do that.

Certain comic book should be done on smaller budgets and made in the spirit of the comic. It won't make you a gazillion dollars but it will make you a very nice profit if you budget it correctly and stay as true to the source material as possible.

  7. Most comedians only put up jokes on Twitter, especially the younger ones. This is where that line between actual persons views and jokes can get skewed. Buzzfeed could go on hundreds of other comedians Twitter feeds and find the same thing but then again, those guys aren't taking over a big show like TDS.

  8. So apparently Trevor Noah has been named the new host of the Daily Show.. very interesting choice. I'm looking forward to seeing him takeover.

    From EOnline.com

Trevor Noah is the new host of The Daily Show. The 31-year-old made his debut as a contributor in December. Fast forward three months and he's replacing Jon Stewart as the host of the popular Comedy Central program.

"It's an honor to follow Jon Stewart. He and the team at The Daily Show have created an incredible show whose impact is felt all over the world," Noah said in a statement. "In my brief time with the show they've made me feel so welcome. I'm excited to get started and work with such a fantastic group of people."

"You don't believe it for the first few hours," Noah told The New York Times regarding learning about his new gig. "You need a stiff drink, and then unfortunately you're in a place where you can't really get alcohol."

"I'm thrilled for the show and for Trevor," Stewart said in a statement. "He's a tremendous comic and talent that we've loved working with...In fact, I may rejoin as a correspondent just to be a part of it!!!"

Stewart announced he was leaving his post on the long-running show in February. He's been the host of the show since 1999. Veteran correspondent Jason Jonesrecently left the show with his wife, Samantha Bee, also exiting this year as part of a new TBS deal.

"What I want to see there is the next iteration of this idea," Stewart said about hisDaily Show retirement, per The Hollywood Reporter. "I feel like the tributaries of my brain combined with the rigidity of the format. I feel like I used every permutation of that I could possibly use."

Noah, a South African native, has hosted numerous TV shows in his home country, including two seasons of his own late-night talk show, Tonight With Trevor Noah. According to his Comedy Central bio, he made his US TV debut in 2012 on The Tonight Show With Jay Leno. The comedian has also had his own Showtime special,Trevor Noah: African American, and performed for the royal family in 2013.

Popular TV stars Amy Poehler and Tina Fey were fan-favorites to take over the program. Late-night talk shows have been criticized for being male dominated, but Comedy Central's president, Michele Ganeless, told The New York Times that the network "talked to women. We talked to men. We found in Trevor the best person for the job."

"Trevor Noah is an enormous talent. He has an insightful and unique point of view, and most importantly, is wickedly funny," Ganeless said in a statement. "For the next host of The Daily Show, we set out to find a fresh voice who can speak to our audience with a keen take on the events of the day, and we found that in Trevor. He has a huge international following and is poised to explode here in America, and we are thrilled to have him join Comedy Central."

Noah, who is still a new face to US viewers, took to Twitter after the news broke.

"No-one can replace Jon Stewart," he tweeted. "But together with the amazing team at The Daily Show, we will continue to make this the best damn news show!"

No timeline for Stewart's exit has been announced.

The Daily Show airs weeknights at 11 p.m. on Comedy Central.
