Second season of Master of None was really good. It's so weird because he was great in Parks and Rec in small doses but I never really liked his stand up, so I didn't think I would like a show with him as the main character.

I really like that choice but it's really surprising, considering that the guy is playing the major big bad in the MCU. No doubt there will be a nod to that somewhere in the film.
I'm really surprised Michael Shannon didn't get the role, I thought he was going to be the guy they eventually settled on.

I've enjoyed the show and found it much easier to get through then Jessica Jones was. I love Krysten Ritter and I liked the premise but it felt really hard to get through. I think Finn Jones has done a great job with Danny Rand so far (only on episode 7) and liking the Hogarth/Claire cameos. The Defenders is shaping up nicely.

As soon as I saw they had 11 instead of 12, I knew they were going to shoot Benjamin and not Richard. I mean, I "get" why they did it to actually give Ezekiel the push he needed to join Rick but I wish they hadn't, I would've liked to see Benjamin grow with the group.
Morgan snapping on Richard later with slightly unexpected in the way that he did it but I like how he turned his plan around on him.. then he goes right to Carol to ask her if she wants to know what really happened. The groundwork for all the communities to band together is coming together nicely, just waiting on the inevitable double cross from Gregory or the Scavengers.

Jeffrey and Smith are major upgrades over DGB and Agholor. We can cross WR off their list now with a first or second round pick. Unless a stud CB is there at 14, I'm sure they will trade back now.

I'm not buying Cutler to the Jets, he'll end up as the backup in Dallas if he doesn't retire.

Really enjoyed the laid back/light-hearted vibe from Rick and Michonne this week.
SpoilerI enjoyed the episode. I knew the walkers were eating the deer but since it was such a laid back episode, I thought the writers were going to gut punch us with a walker biting Michonne while she thought that Rick was the one being eaten and then Rick shows up, seeing what he's done by not listening to her and staying out longer than she wanted to. The whole "Rick can't be happy" thing almost got me and while I'm mostly glad that it didn't happen.. I'm kind of wishing it did happen, so we can get "They're messing with the wrong people" Rick back.

I think they could've got more for Nerlens if they traded him earlier but I don't mind the trade. Nerlens would've wanted max money and he would've been a back up here, so they had to get what they could for him instead of letting walk for nothing.

And what chips do they have for George? Just seems odd to hear them chasing after a guy Boston has been openly pursuing when Boston has the most trade chips in recent memory. And if Larry Bird signs off on a trade with LA, the universe might implode.
They could package Brandon Ingram and future picks. Apparently Jeanie Buss was furious that they didn't get DeMarcus Cousins and wants Magic to get them a Superstar.

Cloudy commented in the PPV thread that the show was garbage or something. Probably if you like the show now you'll like the episode.
Personally I don't see how people hate the way TWD does their stories. I love nearly every episode. The payoffs are usually worth watching imo.
I can see why some people may be getting tired of the show but I agree with you, I don't have any issue with the first part of this season like a lot people seemed to. It just seems like they want the story to move along faster than it needs to.

I don't know much about the Legion character except his connections to Xavier and his powers but I really enjoyed the first episode. Looking forward to seeing how the rest of the season plays out.

Trubisky takes an Aaron Rodgers like tumble from #2 to #23 after one round of mock drafts. Interesting.
I'm just hoping the Eagles get one of the top five CB's. I'd much rather get Wilson though, feel like they need a tough and physical corner.

Weird question, I know, but how big was Saved By The Bell in America? Like, was it a significant part of pop culture in any way or was it just "a kids show that they happen to really like and identify with"?
I'd say Saved By The Bell was definitely a part of the pop culture back in the day. Everyone loved Zach and Kelly Kapowski

I get that they're moving to LA but no need to steal the Dodgers logo and then fuck it up. I wish they would just keep the same logo and uniforms because those Chargers dark blue and the throwback powder blue are some of the best jerseys in the league, IMO.

Tennessee will have new uniforms from 2018.
Eight teams eligible for mandatory Hard Knocks inclusion: Bears, Buccaneers, Browns, Colts, Eagles, Ravens, Saints and Titans.
If they don't go with the Bucs, I think the Eagles would be a good team to follow in the offseason/pre-season. Given that Wentz was handed the keys to the team last year, trying to build the offense around him, draft being held in Philly and such. Saints being another option if Payton stays or if he gets traded, Brees last year or two there, etc. Browns, Bears, Ravens and Titans don't really have any juice behind them.

Was a highly touted receiver coming out of college and he had a bad foot injury, if I recall. His first few seasons were seen as kind of a letdown but he's been consistent when he's been healthy, just never reached a "superstar" status that many thought he would.
-
I like it because they needed a veteran SP to go with Nola/Eickhoff/Hellickson/Velasquez and like @damshowmentioned, we could possibly flip him for a prospect or two at the deadline, if a team needs an arm.

The lack of Brandon Williams is absolutely jarring.
I also appreciate Kyle Juszcyzyk getting in on the merit of being the only FB in the entire AFC.
Hey, don't forget about James Develin on the Patriots!
I'm just kidding, you can forget about him.

Possibly but they did have Morgan covered up when he was "tracking" the group a few seasons ago until they revealed his face.
Obviously, it could be someone new altogether but I just think they would not have introduced Oceanside, if they weren't going to come back to it at some point.

True but they could've followed Tara back to Alexandria and were watching since then, noticed Rick was the leader and just decided to follow him. I just have a feeling it's going to be someone with Oceanside, I think they will definitely play a role in the second half of the season.

I'm assuming it's either that girl from Oceanside that helped Tara escape or one of the women that were attempting to kill Tara at Oceanside. Seeing as how it looks like they are going to try to unite The Hilltop, Alexandria and The Kingdom against The Saviors.. they are going to need guns/ammo especially with Eugene being taken by Negan. This is probably how they introduce them to the group, since I think Tara will keep her promise.

Justin Forsett was claimed by the Broncos off waivers. How many teams is that this year? Four?

The season would be way better if they didn't dedicate entire episodes to side stories and mixed them together so each week they all moved forward, over watching something for an hour, then the next week watching an entire different part of the story and only seeing the results each episode 3-4 weeks later.
See, I think these side episodes work better in telling the full story when you dedicate an entire episode to them. I know I'm probably in the minority but I liked seeing everything progress together in one episode, I think you get a better understanding of what's going on with the characters. It also helps when the main character(s) are interesting and the actor(s) can hold their own, which I think Alana Masterson did.

I'm not understanding the disappointment with any of the episodes this season, I think it's been a really good season so far. They are tying up stories from the past season and laying groundwork for the eventual uprising that is bound to take place against The Saviors. I also don't think it's the last we heard Oceanside since they have guns/ammo and people with a reason to fight back, if they band all the communities together.
I think the pendulum swung back the other way from people being angry with the show for too much zombie violence and gore, now people are mad at the pace of the storytelling and not enough action. The only things I really haven't liked about this season were moments in the last two episodes: Carl finds roller skates and then Tara sees a dreadlocked walker, we all think is Heath but it's just a woman with dreadlocks.. like, really?
About Episode 7, spoilered just in case..

The only time I felt we had too much Arnold was the wedding episode. I agree with Aziz's dad, I could've definitely used more of him.
