  1. I'm well into my fourth season with Leicester and 21 games into the season I sit fifth behind Man Utd, Arsenal, Man City and Liverpool in my second season in the Premiership after two consecutive promotions. I'm also on a mission to build a British army in my squad. I think out of my 47 signings only about 11 of them weren't English/British.

GK - Craig Gordon (£5.5m from Sunderland)

CB - Michael Mancienne (Free from Chelsea) / Aleksandar Tunchev (started off with him in League One)

CB - Jay DeMerit (Free from Watford) / Gabriel Tamas (Free from Auxerre)

RWB - Ryan Taylor (Free from Wigan) / Ryan Naughton (£1.7m from Preston)

LWB - Joe Mattock (started off with him as an 18-year old...now at 21 is club captain and is immense)

DMC - Luca Cigarini (Free from Parma) / Havard Nordveit (Free from Arsenal)

CM - Fabian Delph (£2.5m P/E from Leeds)

CM - Mark Noble (£3.5m from West Ham)

AMC - Henri Lansbury (Free from Arsenal...such a quality signing)

ST - Kyle Lafferty (£4m from Rangers)

ST - Omar Koroma (Free from Portsmouth) / Daniel Sturridge (£3m from Hull) / Marcus Berg (Free from Groningen)

I also have Jonny Howson, Kieran Gibbs and Gabriel Agbonlahor in my squad. In four years I've spent £32.5m and made back £14.5m. This is the best game I've played for a while since my similar Walsall game on...FM05/FM06.

  2. Well the entire point of Volume 3 was seemingly to show everyone is grey and nobody is black or white. Nice idea but the problem was, besides Peter and maybe Claire everyone WAS black or white but couldn't make their minds up about which they were. Peter tried to be good, but had to do some things the season one Peter wouldn't. All in all Villains was a hell of a lot better than Generations but nowhere near the level of Genesis. Hopefully Fugitives gets the show back on track.
Oh and Worf is President. :D
  3. Good game all round. In context I'm "not to bothered" because in the long-term this will be good for them, but obviously disapointed. Burnley deserved it, but god did Jensen have a good game.

If Bendtner had scored 80 seconds because they did we would have gone out and won the game 3-0, 4-0 I reckon but our kids have no idea how to chase the game, which when you have 16, 17, 18 year olds I can forgive. However Bendtner...seriously, I do rate him, I see quality there, glimpses of it but that is the huge problem; wrong pass, wrong position, to much power in the pass, to little power in the pass, wrong decision with the shot. Whatever the option is, somehow he manages to do the complete opposite. For one of our most "experienced" player in comparision to the others he really should've led the line.

  4. I'm going to copy TheArsenal by giving an update on my Leicester City game.

First season was very good but very frustrating at times. I finished 2nd only six points behind winners Leeds and six points above the third placed team but the most annoying thing was that I had 14 draws and at least four of those were 0-0 that I should've won. I probably should've won League One, but oh well I got promoted so I don't care. Oh and I won the Johnstone's Paint Trophy, but my board aren't that impressed because apparently don't think it's an important trophy. Ungrateful bastards.

So bring on the Championship. In my first and best signing I managed to wrap up was relegated Wigan's Ryan Taylor on a free transfer. That's right; free. The guy is quality on this game because he can play pretty much everywhere ('cept up front).

    Summer signings

    Ryan Taylor (DLR/MLR - £0 from Wigan)

Richard Eckersely (DLR - £0 from Man Utd)

Gabrielle Paonessa (AMC - £0 from Bologna)

Amaury Bischoff (DMRC - £0 from Arsenal)

Kyle Bartley (DC - loan from Arsenal)

Jay DeMerit (DC - £0 from Watford)

    Dean Windass (AMC/ST - £0 from Hull)

Ron-Robert Zieler (GK - loan from Man Utd)

Ched Evans (ST - loan from Man City)

Shola Ameobi (ST - £325k loan from Newcastle)

Jonny Howson (MC - £1.8m from Leeds)

I can't say enough about DeMerit and Evans, they have been fantastic. Evans has six goals in five games and DeMerit alongside Tunchev at centre-back my backline is a brickwall. Ameobi has only managed one sub and one start and has one goal, so I think he'll do well and I have the option to buy for £1.2m which if the guy gets me goals is a real bargain.

After four games in the Championship I sit top with four wins, twelve goals scored and three conceeded and am in the Carling Cup Third Round. And my aim was mid-table, pfft.

  5. I started a game with Arsenal (as I usually do) stripped Gallas of the captaincy and bought Lassana Diarra for £13.75m and he is godly. However after getting to about October/November-ish I got a bit bored and remembered I was going to play as a League One team. So I started a game with Leicester City.

I've spent my transfer budget on David Prutton (£150k from Leeds) and Ishmael Demontagnac from Walsall for £130k and a few other bargains and loanees. My biggest signing is the free transfer of Ugur Yildirim and while he hasn't been firing on all cylinders so far he's bound to start soon. I almost signed Kiki Musampa but decided on Yildirim instead.
