Basically same rules as Kanto, except you use Pokemon unique to Johto (Orre & The Sevii Islands). Basically Pokemon #152-251, excluding legendaries, as I'll point out below.

Smeargle (NetBattle allows it to be taught ANYTHING, which is stupid. This will mean everyone will have one in their team, so I'm just banning it from competing, as I can't be bothered policing anyone who uses one.)
Blissey however, is allowed, despite it being horribly overused by n00bs who don't know how to battle. *cheap heat*
You may have either Typhlosion, Feraligatr or Meganium, not a combination of any.
Pokemon will be L100 to keep it somewhat even.
Battles will be the traditional 1 vs 1 style.
No double pokemon; all six pokemon must be different.
Must enter six team members.
Win by knocking out all of the opponent's pokemon.
Items are allowed and are also changeable. Leftovers are not allowed.
Post-Battle:
After losing, you will post the log of the match. And I say after losing, because the loser will be posting the match results only. Winners could potentially edit the contents to allow them to change some things to adapt to their next match to allow an easier battle. Which would be cheating.
After the round one battles are over the winner should post their team and moves, like last time to make the second round (and the next ones) more easily prepared for. The order of your team can be crucial.

Fun Fact: I actually fucked up and made an 18-Person Tournament before fixing it and making it 16, as it should have been. While doing the brackets for this I originally had The Kraig v Chris2K, which may have drawn a large crowd. Sadly, I had to redo the brackets.

Since no one seems to know what to do after your tournament battle is over, I'll make it clear.
Post Teams & Attacks.
Post number of active pokemon. 6, 5, 1? 0 too, if it's via Explosion, Selfdestruct, etc
And you keep the same team you use from the start, including attacks so it's as fair as possible.
And thug, you were just lucky. It could have went either way really and you know it.

SDM has gained about a million cool points from this thread. I hate people who bash Nintendo for not having a better machine. Because they've always had the better machine, but a very shallow game pool. If you compare the amount of games for the Gamecube to that of the PS2, you'll notice a MASSIVE difference.
However, Nintendo games do rule, like Mario etc. Just vary it a bit, man. Sometimes we just want to kill things via bloody murder. Not jump on their heads to squish them into wafers...
I have all the 'next-gen' consoles and the Gamecube has provided the biggest and most replayable games (see: Super Smash Bros. Melee, Super Mario Kart: DD, Pokémon Ruby/Sapphire, Metroid Prime) but they totally lack games like Halo, GTA or GOOD wrestling games. Which is why I have all three consoles.
