  1. I'd rent it probably. The films continued the tradition of great game, shit film. I have Deadly Alliance and I pray to God they add the new women to the film, they were fucking hot...for computer generated figures I mean. (¬_¬) Nitara, Frost and the other one, would all get it if they were real. Nice to see Johnny Cage back. He was my favourite, only because of the splits/low blow combo. Heh.

I won't tell you what happens in the game (because it might be spoilers for the film), but for anyone else who has the game and has watched the opening sequence, does anyone think it's weird that a certain warrior is featuring in the film (you know who I'm talking about)?

Also, Cyrax better be in this and be good or I'm going to go shazzlewhizzle on someone. Smoke and the red one can bugger off.

And has Kabal featured in a film yet? He rocks my pants. Same with Stryker.

  2. I think Nintendo recently patented the emulators for GBA games. Meaning if you don't have VisualBoy Advance, or a similar emulator, it's now illegal to download.

How crap is that? Not that I know anything about this. (¬_¬)

  3. Scotland all the way~! We've come so far and...oh...oh yeah... <_<

I'll be supporting England, since my mother's family is from Newcastle, and I'll support Ireland since my father's family's from there originally. And why is everyone picking Ian Walker in goal? The highlight of his season was shitting on a fan (albeit very funny). I'd pick David James over him. Paul Robinson too. Come to think of it, it's kind of hard to name a goalkeeper now Seaman's gone.

Rooney's had a pretty quiet season, hopefully he can save his rep by scoring some goals during this, which is why I agree with nearly everyone's pick to have him up front.

And to be honest about Scholes, he's not as good as people make out to be, but he's not a bad player either. He may not score many goals but he usually plays a part in the build-up play with Beckham or Gerrard to make opportunities.

My bet to win is: Brazil. Spain.

  4. I have all three big consoles and the GameCube is probably my favourite in terms of gameplay. They always seem to license long games.

    Best features:

It has exclusive games which rawk like all of the Nintendo games (Mario, Zelda, Kirby, Donkey Kong, Pokemon etc etc etc) getting their very own games on the GC), and we all know Nintendo are gaming artists. They have also had some special excusives like Resident Evil 0, Star Wars Rogue Leader games (which are pretty awesome, even for non-geeks) and some others.

The graphics are excellent, better than the PS2. I'm not sure if it's up to scratch on the XBox though, although the GC is about a quarter of the size of the XBox (seriously).

It's easily portable. I can actually fit it into the back pocket of my jeans, but I could probably fit a whole person in there. (¬_¬)

    Crapness:

They have the smallest selection of games of the big three, meaning there's not as much choice and some games which come out on the PS2 and XBox won't be on the GC (like the SD and RAW games, which own). The WrestleMania games always seemed out of date after a month or so.

Not many of your friends will have a GC, because it's not very ''cool''. They're morelikely to have a PS2, meaning you can't swap games or invite them round without buying another controller (which is a bit crap considering the best GC games have awesome multiplayers).

My favourite games for it are Mario Kart: Double Dash, Super Smash Bros Melee, Sonic Adventure 2, Tony Hawk's Underground and Luigi's Mansion. Call me a sucker, but I really like the Mario and Sonic characters and to be honest it's hard to find a good GC game without a Nintendo character in it. Even Soul Caliber's new version has Link from the Zelda games as a GC exclusive. And with Pokemon Colosseum coming out today, I'll probably get that. A 3D Pokemon RPG? Hella yeah.
