  1. AC/DC at Hampden Park is the best gig I've ever been to. I was right up near the stage, and it was just awesome. Bob Dylan at the O2 in Dublin was a close-second, and in third place - on the other end of the spectrum - is Frank Turner at The Stiff Kitten in Belfast. Great atmosphere, with a top setlist. Just a really fun show.

2009 was my favourite year in gigs.

  2. I saw on Ticketmaster that tickets for Download are going on sale tomorrow, and are very reasonable at 160 quid. So, while I know there's no-one announced for the festival yet, anybody have any idea who's rumoured? I've heard AC/DC, which admittedly is my main reason for considering going, but hear of anyone else?

  3. Hey gang,

Here's the DLC that'll be hitting your game machines next week! Some spooky stuff to tie into the holiday, some rocking stuff for the rockers, and a few singles for lady vocalists out there! Huzzah for variety!

    Enjoy!

  4. Agreed. Roman Polanski may be a genius film maker, but he had sex with a minor, and the fact that he's famous doesn't make that okay. He should be tried and sentenced like anybody else. And the argument that the girl involved wants the charges to be dropped is a moot point; a crime was still committed.

  6. I was at City-Arsenal on Saturday. Happened to be in Manchester, so thought why not. Twas my first-ever Premier League game, and it was top-notch. I really don't understand why people were raving about Adebayor's performance though; I thought he did fuck-all other than his goal and that one run.
