  1. The gimmick that came to mind for me for AJ was Split Personality... Crazy or Psycho could be argued as well... From what I understand, they taped 4 episodes of NXT at Full Sail... My guess is, it's going to be aired somewhere, whether they find a network for it, it remans on WWE.com, or it is part of the WWE Network programming. Personally, I don't see why it shouldn't remain a bookable show. There was a suggestion last month (I believe) to adjust some of the wages so that FCW workers made a minimum of $15K, as opposed to $12K. I haven't done that as of yet, but think that FCW workers should all get $15K monthly, NXT workers get between $16K-$19K monthly, with the "regulars" making the $19K and the "non-regulars" making $16K. Anyone on the main roster would start at a minimum of $20K monthly. Obviously, we'll know more about how fluid the roster is as the tapings go... I actually set Christian as a Face watching RAW tonight, but if people think he should be a tweener, that's a quick fix. I think the "Man on a Mission" gimmick he has works regardless of disposition. -Bill
  2. Two "Alternate Timeline" scenarios that I always thought would be interesting: The backstory would be, quite simply, Andre refuses to "do the job" at WrestleMania and as a result, wins the WWF title, putting an end to "Hulkamania" at what was, quite possibly, it's apex. The backstory here: The Sheik has claimed that Verne Gagene offered him money to break Hogan's leg in the Title Match. Had the Sheik followed through with Gagne's wishes, he would have still been WWF Champion and Hogan would have been sidelined with the injury for a significant amount of time. Also, obviously, no Hulkamania... -Bill
  3. There is a worker already in the game named "Kenbai." Pretty sure this isn't the same as Yuki Sato, though: Kenbai: http://www.genickbruch.com/index.php?befehl=bios&wrestler=5865 Yuki Sato: http://www.genickbruch.com/index.php?befehl=bios&wrestler=7705 -Bill
  4. So, basically, Junior Morlaes and Latin Dragon should pretty much have the same stats, the same finisher (I watched the Youtube vid Red provided and they mentioned that Morales finisher is a Tornado DDT (though they called it a "spinning DDT")) but are two separate people... No wonder this whole situation gave me a headache... -Bill
  5. The stats in the game currently are pretty much the exact same stats that Red suggested for Junior Morales... http://www.ewbattleground.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=86918&view=findpost&p=2505064 These are the stats you suggested for the other Latin Dragon back in September... http://www.ewbattleground.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=85329&view=findpost&p=2397753 The second set of stats is what I'll put for him... If there are any changes between then and now, let me know. -Bill
  6. Yeah, I remembered that someone had... I ran a search and got them... Pretty sure I did alter the stats, as they were pretty similar. So, Morales has been renamed and had stats adjusted... The stats I would need are for this other Latin Dragon... -Bill
  7. Well, I probably start about 10 "New Games" per day while updating and, even with 2 open promotions, I have literally NEVER seen it happen.... -Bill
  8. Well, the picture, birthmonth and age, finishers, tag team and loyalty to Vinny Massaro (his trainer) are all for Junior Morales. Since obviously Cagematch thinks these two people are the same, I'll pull the one ingame out of CZW and NWA-F1 and rename him to Junior Morales. If you have stats for the other Latin Dragon, please post them and I'll get him on. That should solve the issue. After adding PWS, there are 33 promotions in the game, so we can add one more. Screw the "Pinky & The Brain" thing, I've personally never seen it, so it could be that it isn't possible with the way the scenario is anyway. Plus, it certainly isn't "realistic." 34 promotions will allow for someone to still do "Backyard to Global" scenarios if they wish. MCW was recently overhauled and I personally overhauled IWC earlier this week as well. There are some workers not in the game, but that's the case for damn near all of the promotions. -Bill
  9. Maybe I'm not understanding, but the only Alter Ego that is under "Latin Dragon" is "Junior Morales." He's also worked in CZW and NWA-F1 (Though he hasn't worked NWA-F1 since last August, according to Cagematch) which are the two promotions he's in in EWR currently. Any type of research I've done has led back to Latin Dragon being Junior Morales... Unfortunately, he's not on CZW or NWA-F1's roster pages currently. It's not possible that at one point, the guy was tanned and now he's not, or vice versa? -Bill Do the time tables between the Latin Dragon from California's last show and the first show of the east coast's Latin Dragon line-up to possibly be the same person, yes. COULD he be tanned at one point and no longer is now, Perhaps. The problem I see is the skin tone looks too different to me. I have found a video of the two and it is inconclusive to me. Junior Morales vs. Matt Carlos and and Fredo Majors & Kit Osbourne vs. Latin Dragon and DA Law I guess the "short version" of my post probably works better: The "Latin Dragon" currently in the game is Junior Morales. Even if there is another "Latin Dragon" out there (which there may or may not be, I personally am not sure) he's not in the game, so I don't see the issue with using the alter ego that we KNOW is correct. If we ever add the other "Latin Dragon" (again, if there even IS one) we can certainly adjust the Alter Egos at that time, but for now, I don't see a reason to. -Bill
  10. Pretty sure this has been mentioned but, there are 3 workers who were on the PWS roster that have 3 promotions already: Davey Richards (ROH - PWG - 2CW) Devon Moore (CZW - JAPW - NWA-F1) Samuray Del Sol (DGUSA - CZW - AAW) Dunno which promotions (if any) should be subbed out for PWS. -Bill
  11. Well, I'm the one that made the comment of starting the game as realistic as possible. Dunno if you honestly didn't know that, or were using the comment to strengthen your case. The thing is, yes, one of my goals is to start the game as realistic as possible. I'm pretty sure that, realistically, Lawler would never agree to a contract with any wrestling promotions that conflicts with his WWE commitments. I could also say that, "realistically," a good chunk of the workers in TNA should be on open contracts, as I'm pretty sure that a fair amount of the workers in TNA take more "independent" bookings than Lawler does. While we can't stop unrealistic things happening in the game, such as WWE releasing a junkload of people, etc, we CAN control an independent promotion from signing Lawler from WWE, or a worker from TNA, which obviously wouldn't happen in real life. I also HIGHLY doubt that Michael Cole would EVER wrestle for another promotion, so I honestly don't see how Cole being a worker is "realistic." Especially considering the fact that in EWR, workers can't be Play-By-Play announcers. Cole is much more a Play-By-Play announcer than he ever was (or will be) a wrestler. http://www.post-gazette.com/stories/local/neighborhoods-city/porn-producer-wife-get-1-year-jail-terms-347794/ This article lists her at age 32 on July 2, 2009. I would assume, since this was tied to a court case, that they would have access to the ages of the defendants. IMDB also lists her birthdate as 12/20/76, making her 35 today. -Bill
  12. The "Beginners" update in the May thread has my complete pics folder, exactly as it appeared when the May Update was released. All of the "looks" might not be up to date, but you'll have a pic for all the workers and staff that I do... -Bill

It's just part of the backlog that I didn't gte cleared out... I really don't go in order, per se... I jump around a lot... Keeps me more alert on longer update sessions. To be honest, I dunno how much backlog I'm going to be able to knock out this month. My laptop (which is what I do the updating on) is reporting a Hard Drive error and, long story short, it's gonna have to go in and get worked on. Been told it could take a couple weeks. The good news is, I got everything off the harddrive and have backups, etc, so nothing has been lost. The issue is that I'll be updating a bit differently than I'm normally used to, so chances are, I won't be as quick at updating things as I normally am. That means, obviously, less will likley get done. But, I'll do what I can and hope to play more catch-up in the month of June. -Bill
  14. OK, just a couple quick notes on 2CW, as I just finished adding this list to the game: 1: Tommaso Ciampa, Portia Perez, Allysin Kay all have 3 promotions already. 2: Dunno is Matt Milan was supposed to have a * by him as well, or if he is in the game under a different name, but I couldn't find him in the data currently. 3: Obviously, still need staff members for 2CW as they currently have none. 4: Their site lists a Heavyweight Champion (currently vacant) and Tag Champs (Briscoes). Need images for both titles. Looking at their event history, I was able to get names for events for each month. Months that had 2 shows back-to-back are listed as "Large" shows, while months with just single day shows are listed as "Medium." -Bill
  15. To be honest, I'm not really concerned about "small rosters" if they are accurate. I'd much rather have a promotion in the game that has 15-20 workers that is accurate than have a promotion in that has 35-40 workers that hasn't been updated and is difficult to update, due to lack of information. -Bill
  16. All's I'm saying is, from an info standpoint, it looks to be the most difficult to update and keep updated. Their "website" is just a facebook page and it's in Spanish. Unless I'm missing something, that and the Wikipedia page is about all we have to go on when it comes to info regarding the promotion. The same argument was given to get rid of IWA not too long ago, but IWA actually has a website with a roster on it... WWC doesn't even have that currently. -Bill
  17. NCW-FF was added to replace Wrestlicious. Had nothing to do with 2CW. I'm also pretty sure EVERY WORKER was already in the game. They run regularly, update their roster quite often, are pretty easy to track and I personally knew enough about the promotion to represent them fairly accurately in the game. Being Canadian was a bonus. I personally hardly know anything about 2CW, so it wouldn't nearly have been as easy to add them, based on my personal experience. Just a quick glance at promotions currently in-game that probably need looked at: WWC: The only "Official" site I can find for them these days is a Facebook Page. Though Wikipedia is not a great source for info, the last bit of info wiki has for WWC is from January, 2011. NWA-A: I know there used to be someone that provided info and updates for these guys quite frequently, but I can't recall any posts regarding them in a while. NWA-E: By the looks of their website, they have again rebranded to "Pro Wrestling Express." Roster probably needs changes as well, but they seem to run bi-weekly or so. If I had to choose one promotion to take out, it would likley be WWC. NWA-A, NWA-E and IWC all have websites with rosters and all three could probably be updated a lot easier than WWC, because I would have to rely on wikipedia and a Facebook page for WWC... Not to mention the fact that I don't speak spanish, which is what language their facebook page is in. -Bill
  18. That would probably work. I might be missing something here... Really, I don't put a "priority" on any promotion being added, unless there is a clear-cut reason to. Meaning, if a new promotion were to form tomorrow and have a TV deal, running on a National network, etc, etc, that promotion being added would likely move up the list over 2CW, PWS, Res Pro, or any other promotion we're discussing. Like I said, when I read the post regarding changing MaxPro (I think it was) to "Squared Circle Wrestling," I did a google search and mistakenly went to the 2CW site, created a banner and logo and then realized there were 2 separate "Squared Circle Wrestling" promotions... One in Canada (SCW) and the other in NY (2CW). I simply kept the graphics in the event that we ever wanted to add 2CW. I don't have any preference on what two to add... I'd strongly prefer 2 promotions that have a majority of the roster already in the game and that can easily be followed... Other than that, doesn't really matter to me. The website issue with UWF is what really turns me off on them. It looks like a nightmare to follow and would likely get out of hand quickly. -Bill
  19. Here's my current stance on adding promotions: There are 31 promotions in the game as of now. The max allowed is 35... I want to have 2 open spots minimum, so that the "Pinky & the Brain" scenario can be triggered (Though, I have probably started a new game in upwards of 50,000 times while doing updates and have NEVER had it happen... Maybe I'm doing something wrong?). So, that means, we could potentially fill two spots. I have some info un UWF, but to be honest, I'm not really keen on adding them. Reason being, their site is a train wreck and that's putting it nicely. I do try and check in on every promotion and make sure they keep somewhat up to date and, admittedly, I'm better with some promotions than I am with others. But, with UWF, their site is so screwed, I'm thinking it would become very quickly forgotten and outdated. If I do add it, it would likely be on a VERY short leash. 2CW: I actually thought the Squared Circle Wrestling and 2CW were the same promotion, until I looked at the ingame roster and the roster presented on the 2CW website. The post explaining the change was a bit misleading, but in the end, I got it sorted out, at least for the Squared Circle Wrestling that is currently in the game. I actually have a banner and logo dne for 2CW... The issue is, I can't have both SCW and 2CW in the game,at least not both under the name "Squared Circle Wrestling," as the game rejects it. The options on that, if we wanted to add 2CW would be: A: Rename the "Squared Circle Wrestling" in the game to "Squared Circle Training," since it is actually mentioned as that on their site. B: Remove the SCW in the game in favor of 2CW. Problem is, that would eliminate a canadian promotion in favor of another Eastern US promotion. In any event, to add 2CW, I would need as much info as pretty much all I have is the banner and logo. To be honest, haven't really looked at the promotions too much, as most of my work has been done getting caught up, etc, so there might be another promotion or 2 in the game currently that could be removed, in order to make room for more current promotions... But, I'll let all of you argue that. What I'm most concerned about is being able to accurately depict the promotion in the game, without having to add 50 or so workers and being able to easily track the promotion on their website. -Bill
  20. Believe it or not, I'm pretty sure Kimber Lee and Annie social are faces in WSU... My guess is, you heard their promo on Rick Cataldo, Tina San Antonio and Ezavel Suena, which are all heels. WSU is pretty edgy, especially for women's wrestling... Their current risk is at 73, but probably could go a bit higher. -Bill
  21. Besides the Royal Rumble, I honestly can't recall the last time Michael Cole had a match. Unfortunately, in EWR, I have to choose either worker or staff, or create multiples of people, which, IMO, is far less realistic than simply reverting Cole back to an announcer, which is what he's done IRL... I can't honestly think many people will be too bent out of shape that they can't use Michael Cole in an angle... As for Kehner, not counting WWE, there are currently 10 referees in the game with a 75 or higher talent (which is what you suggested for Kehner). 6 are unemployed and the other 4 are on verbal deals. In EWR, it's not like you physically see which referee officiates a match, so I really don't see the big positive to putting him in as a referee and creating a double. Like I said before, if I put him in DGUSA as a NW with a staff gimmick, you would then be able to put him in any match you wanted (using the guest ref match type). You could even do storylines around him, being an evil referee, etc. IMO, that option is MUCH more realistic, because you'd actually get to control him, whereas staff members really don't do much of anything ingame. -Bill
  22. Yes, the worker versions of Cole and Prazak will be the ones removed. The staff members will remain. -Bill
  23. Well, looking at his facebook, I didn't see anywhere where October is mantioned as his birthmonth. Maybe you gotta be friends with him or something, but I'll take your word on that one. As far as Kehner, pretty much an identical situation exists for Laura Mattano. She's a referee in Shimmer and has never wrestled a match in the promotion. However, outside of Shimmer, she wrestles. Making duplicate workers for all of these types of instances would crowd the game more than it already is. Prazak and Cole duplicates likely getting removed this month as well. Trying to streamline the database to an extent. A couple workers already deleted (one duplicate and one was deceased) but I know others have been mentioned... Just hadn't gotten around to them. -Bill
  24. Wanted to make a few comments on recent posts, while I'm thinking about it: Any chance I can get a link to this info? Been looking for a while on this, just have not seen a place to confirm it... Not that I don't believe you, just like I said, it's been one of my "hunts" that I can't find anywhere. He's in the game as a worker named "Kid America." If he's refereeing in DGUSA, we could add him as a NW staff member there... Again, when the FCW site makes this change, then I will. They change and respell names all the time, from my past experiences. Problem with this is, when he used the claw hold, he drove his opponent down onto his knee, then to the mat, earning a pin. That's why it's currently in as "Claw Slam" and is an impact move. -Bill
