  1. Alright, so i'm in dire need of a pic pack that has every wrestler in the data. My computer messed up and I had to wipe the computer clean, so if anybody has one, I'd appreciate it if you could upload it and either post the link here or message me it.

Anybody at all? Please and thank you.

The "Beginners" update in the November thread has my entire pic folder as it is currently... Hopefully, that'll help you.

  2. OK, notes:

Remove James Tyler Bailey from WWE. Wasn't he fired months ago? Change him to Production

    Change Rob Feinstein to Production.

    Switch Cary Silken to Production

I removed Bailey from WWE, but, we're currently at the minimum number of Road Agents, so we'll have to leave these three as Road Agents until we get others to replace them.

Rename NWA Anarchy to Anarchy Wrestling change Initials to AW

Rename NWA Hollywood to Championship Wrestling from Hollywood change Initials to CWFH

Rename NWA Force-1 Pro to Force-1 Pro change initials to F-1

Remove the NWA initials from the following titles

    NWA Anarchy Heavyweight

    NWA Anarchy Tag Team

    NWA Anarchy Television

    NWA Anarchy Young Lions

    NWA F1 Heavyweight

    NWA F1 Heritage

    NWA F1 Tag Team

NWA Heritage - Rename to CWFH Heritage and Suspend the title

NWA Heritage Tag Team Rename to CWFH Heritage Tag Team

    NWA International Television

We could change the NWA world Heavyweight title to CWFH World Heavyweight but I'm pretty sure the belt is currently the same and is property of NWA so we will have to see what they do with it in the coming months.

Plan to do this this month... With them leaving the NWA (I assume?) the banners and logos for those promotions probably will need updated too.

-Raise Mark Angelosetti's overness to 42

    -Raise Saturyne's overness to 28

-Raise El Hijo Del Ice Cream's overness to 34

-Raise Ice Cream Jr.'s overness to 34

-Raise Michael Elgin's overness to 63.

-Raise Louis Lyndon's overness to 35.

-Raise QT Marshall's overness to 35.

-Raise Shane Strickland's overness to 36.

-Raise Devon Moore's overness to 46.

All of these are instances where, if I raise the overness to the suggested number, they'll need one (or more) card positions raised as well. Before raising them, wanted to make sure that raising needed card positions wouldn't be placing them too high up the card... I plan to do this segment monthly. If those who suggest overness raises check this themselves and include card position raises with the overness raise, it'll make things a bit smoother.

  3. OK, first off, four workers on the "Removed" list (ones that didn't have pics, etc)

Damien Ryback - No Pic, No Info

Carlos Latino - No Pic, No Info

Juan Latino - No Pic, No Info

Junichi Yabuki - No Pic, No Info

I've also made some notes to pass along, but I'll do that in the next post, so that it's separte from this one.

  4. What does she have that deserves SS Look? Being in decent shape isn't what defines SS Look, it is looking like a superstar. Sure, she is cute in a nerdy way and deserves Diva checked, but by no means does she deserve SS Look.

I can't speak for others, but here's my reasoning...

First, the definition of "Superstar Look"

Superstar Look: If this is set to true, the worker has more of a chance of getting over, as they have the look of a superstar (such as The Rock or Chris Jericho).

IMO, in AJ's case, the bolded is what earns her Superstar Look. I'd argue that AJ is currently the most popular diva on the Main Roster. Compared to the rest of the females on the main roster, 7 don't have Superstar Look: Aksana, Cameron Lynn, Linda McMahon, Natalya Neidhart, Stephanie McMahon, Tamina Snuka and Vickie Guerrero.

That means divas like Alicia Fox, Kaitlyn, Naomi Night and Rosa Mendes do have Superstar Look checked. IMO, AJ deserves SS Look over these 4, as she's had a much bigger role than those four, possibly combined. IMO, if AJ doesn't have SS look checked, none of these four should, either. If you expand that further and look at some of the women not in WWE that have Superstar Look checked, AJ should certainly have it before some others that do.

Long story short, based on who currently does and doesn't have Superstar Look, especially in WWE, I think AJ should have it.

  5. Change Drew McIntyre, Jinder Mahal & Heath Slater's gimmick to Rock Star.

For the Rock Star gimmick to work, Charisma must be over 80... Of these three, only McIntyre meets the requirement.

-Remove "The" from the name of Romantic Egotist CorVus' secondary finisher.

His finishers are "House Of Atreus" and "This Side Of Paradise." Neither have the word "The" in them.

-Change AJ Lee's gimmick to Psycho, Weirdo, Crazy, or Split Personality. Uncheck SS Look.

Changed her gimmick to "Crazy." I would disagree about unchecking Superstar look, but feel free to discuss.

    Name: CorVus

    Age: 27

    Birth month: June

    Nationality: American

    Gender: Male

    Weight: Lightweight

    Overness: 09

    Brawl: 42

    Speed: 66

    Technique: 61

    Charisma: 69

    Finisher: Cross Armbar (Submission)

    Gimmick: Lackey

    Speaks: Yes

    Superstar Look, Fonz Factor: Check

If something's missing, he got a profile on cagematch too: http://www.cagematch...&gimmick=CorVus

He's already in the game as "Romantic Egotist CorVus." I can adjust some of the stats to closer resemble your suggestions, though.

Does this update have everyone on the NXT websites roster?

To be honest, I'm not sure. I try to get everyone in their correct spots, but sometimes, I miss them. Also, keep in mind that last month's update was a "lighter" update compared to normal, because of my laptop issues.

For those wondering, the November Update will be up withn the next few days... I haven't had a lot of time to update, but am gonna try to get as much as possible updated (and added) before releasing November's update. A good amount of the backlog is worker adds, so I'm hoping to cut into that some as well.

  6. Wanted to make some notes, while I had a few minutes free:

Q: why is Charlotte's behavior so low?

    http://abclocal.go.com/wtvd/story?section=news/local&id=6377701

Chances are, when she was added, I dropped a few points for attitude and behavior... Pretty sure both are in the 70's still.

Raise Dusty Rhodes' wages to 70,000. Change his gimmick to Unique

Don't have a problem with the wage change, but isn't he still the NXT GM? "Unique" would not allow him to be used as an authority.

Soldier Ant shouldn't be added to the Swarm, or AssailAnt to the Colony. They're both there under duress, at the orders of Wink. Their "true" allegiance is still to the opposite side.

Unless there's something I'm not following here, this is pretty much the same as when John Cena had to join Nexus... He didn't want to be in, but was still considered a member. I'm pretty sure we added him to Nexus in the game as well.

Make Apollyon a heavyweight. Add Joey Braggiol to his alter egos.

They are different people and both are in the game. Apollyon is #4491 and Joey Braggiol is #3084.

http://www.cagematch.de/?id=2&nr=6492 and http://www.cagematch.de/?id=2&nr=5668 are their Cagematch links.

Summer Rae's finishers should be Round Up (Impact).

I know that's what it says on her NXT Profile, but it's also listed as Audrey Marie's finisher, who has had her finisher listed as "The Round Up" well before Summer Rae even signed with WWE: http://www.fcwwrestling.info/Roster/Audrey-Marie.html

I haven't seen a Summer Rae match, so I don't know what her finisher is called, but I really doubt that they'd let two workers use the same finishing move and call it the same thing. My guess is, this is just an error by the webpage creator. Feel free to show me some concrete evidence, though.

change the gimmicks of Heath Slater, Jinder Mahal and Drew McIntyre to Boy Band

Boy Band gimmick doesn't work if the worker is over age 25... All three of them are.

Why does Wade Barrett have shooting ability? Uncheck it.

He's a former Bare Knuckle Boxer.

    - Put Alicia Fox tweener

    - Put Aksana Face

Why? I haven't seen Alicia Fox recently and, the last I saw Aksana, she was dumped by Antonio Cesaro... Doesn't make her a face, though.

    -Bill

  7. Wanna make some comments on some things here:

    Bill Skullion changed to American

Got two links that say he's Canadian... Two sites I usually trust: Slam Wrestling and Cagematch:

    http://slam.canoe.ca/SlamWrestlingBios/skullion.html

    http://www.cagematch.net/?id=2&nr=2794

Feel free to show me something that says he's American.

Add Mercedes KV, Max Bauer, Rachelle St. Claire and Tom La Ruffa to development

Pretty sure I've read about Mercedes and La Ruffa signing... Any links for Bauer and Rachelle St. Claire?

Make Jim Ross the Raw colour commentator.

I'm under the assumption that Lawler will return as Color Commentator when given Doctor's clearance. That's why I haven't messed with it.

Rename Russian Bruiser Anya to Anya

There is a referee under the name "Anya."

    Put AJ Lee Face

You think? I guess I could see it, but she hasn't been favoring faces, at least not that I have seen. Tweener just seems better, IMO, for a balanced GM figure.

    Rename Sarah Stock to Sarita

Problem is, she's in 3 promotions and works under 3 different names... That's why I've left her alone, name-wise... But, she probably should be removed from Shimmer at this point.

    -Bill

  8. As usual, it's a great update Bill. Cheers for the hard work you've put in.

I seem to be getting the error in promotions but not just with OVW. A couple of the promotions are okay but when I click on ROH for example, it brings up 'Run-time error '383' Text property is read only'. What am I doing wrong here?

That, I don't know about... I fixed the OVW one and all the others were fine.

My suggestion would be to re-download the update, fix the issue with Kenny Bolin and OVW and see if that doesn't solve the other issues...

IIRC, other have had issues with running the game when they don't run it as an administrator... Maybe that's an issue...?

If those don't solve it, I honestly don't know what else the issue could be... I'm not getting those errors on my end.

    -Bill

  9. Thank you Bill!

There is a problem occuring while selecting OVW in File Editor - Promotions. Game crashes. Anyone know how to fix it?

That's my fault... Didn't realize Kenny Bolin was the color commentator...

Add Kenny Bolin back to OVW (under the workers tab), remove him as the Color Commentator (under the promotions tab) and then re-remove him from OVW (under the workers tab). That should solve the issue.

It'll be taken care of in the November Update.

I've added this to the first post as well, so hopefully, everyone downloading the update will see the first post or this one.

    -Bill

  10. OK, first things first:

You'll likely notice that there is only one link this month. The only version that I am releasing this month is what is normally the "DATA" version.

Reason being, with me not having access to my laptop (and using my wife's laptop was a pain, since she organizes and has her settings completely different than I do on my laptop) I didn't bother cutting any pictures, which also means, no new workers added. With pictures being the main addition of the "FULL" updates, there's no sense in having a "FULL" update, as it would just be empty folders. Pretty much the same reason there is no "Beginners" update. If you need a beginners update, download last month's, then replace it with this month's data folder and use the "Pic changes to remove/change the pics that I altered this month. It'll end up being the exact same as if I had done a Beginner's updte.

If you were wondering, yes, I'm back on my laptop now (got it back this past Thursday) and haven't had any issues so far. Currently, my plan is to take a few days off (probably the rest of this week) and spend that time getting everything back into place on my laptop that was there before I had sent it in. Once I'm back to "normal," laptop-wise, should be able to hit the backlog hard and get a lot more stuff done that I just couldn't do this month.

Finally, while I didn't add any workers this month (mainly again, due to not having the access to do pics the way I usually do) I did remove 5 that were in the data before. Nobody that anyone will likley miss:

    Workers

    -------

    Brandon Kaplan - Paralyzed

Jacky - Couldn't find any info on her.

Kittie - Couldn't find any info on her.

Kiana - Couldn't find any info on her.

Kylee - Couldn't find any info on her.

There's also a runtime error issue when clicking on OVW in the Editor under the Promotions tab... I didn't realize Kenny Bolin was the Color Commentator there.

To fix it, Add Kenny Bolin back to OVW (under the workers tab), remove him as the Color Commentator (under the promotions tab) and then re-remove him from OVW (under the workers tab). That should solve the issue. It'll be taken care of in the November Update.

  11. Just a quick FYI, I hardly ever remove a worker from the data. If they are "retired," they usually just get the "Non Wrestler" treatment.

There are really only a few reasons I have removed workers from the data:

1: I can't find pictures and/or simple accurate info on them. If I can't find them online in the year 2012 in any shape, form, or fashion, chances are, nobody will miss them.

2: They are older than 70... The max age for workers ingame is 70... Most get moved to staff in that case, where they can remain for 5 more years.

    3: They're dead.

Someone like Shantelle Taylor doesn't risk being removed from the game. Made a "Non-Wrestler"? Yes. But, not removed completely.

Plus, she's going to be at a Pro Wrestling EVE show in November: http://www.diva-dirt.com/2012/09/03/taylor-wilde-to-make-guest-appearance-at-pro-wrestling-eve/

    -Bill

  12. Also, I'm yet to really take a look at the data, but what's the situation with WWE's weekly programming? I know Raw is Monday and Smackdown is Friday, but what about Superstars and NXT? NXT has officially been moved to Thursdays, and is still televised in certain markets. I live in Canada and can watch NXT every Thursday on theScore, and with this being a North American based game, I think the show should be in the game. With the new WWE show on ION premiering next month in the Wednesday slot, that doesn't due well for Superstars, as the Friday slot is already taken by Smackdown.

RAW on Monday, Superstars on Thursday, SmackDown on Friday is the current set up. Currently, my plan is to remove Superstars and put Main Event on the weekly shows, in a Wednesday Prime Time slot (Pretty sure it's on Ion from 8-9PM). That won't happen until the November update, though. Simple reasons: Main Event looks to actually be a separate show (where Superstars is simply taped before RAW and SmackDown) and they'll actually be on TV, as opposed to just being online.

Tapings for Mian Event appear to be on Tuesdays, so it'll be interesting to see how that works with taping SmackDown on Tuesdays currently...

The problem with making NXT a show is it basically forces me to put the entire roster on the "main" roster, since all development is now NXT. Look at NXT as little more than a new name for FCW... FCW had belts and TV slots, but they neer were in EWR, unless it was a split scenario.

  13. Don't know if this is the right spot for this, but will we be adding the promotion "House of Hardcore" to next month's DATA?

    http://www.houseofhardcore.net/index.html

Here is the URL for anyone that doesn't know what I'm talking about.

Not this month... Two major reasons:

1: I'm working on my wife's computer this month... As a result, I don't have all of my normal accomodations at my disposal, so I'm doing what I can do. My laptop is due back tomorrow, but too late in the month to do any major roster changes, such as adding a promotion.

2: They haven't even had their first show yet. Usually, we like to see a promotion have a few shows before adding them, so we know they are gonna run somewhat consistently. If they're still running shows in a few months and running somewhat regularly, we can discuss adding them then.

  14. where a bouts is Sam Shaw in the data?

To the best of my knowledge, he isn't in the data... I also don't believe I have gotten any info on him to put him in...

Just so everyone is aware, I am actually working this month on my wife's laptop. As you might already know, mine has been having issues for some time and I finally got it sent in to get fixed. I'm hoping to have it back by the end of the month.

Because I don't have access to my laptop and my wife has hers set up differently (along with not having some programs even on here) I'm a bit handicapped while I work on things this month and, my guess would be, I probably won't be able to get as much done as I do in normal months. I'm gonna keep up and update what I can, but you'll probably notice, when the October comes put, it won't be as "complete" as normal months. One thing I can say I'm likely to ignore almost completely is extra pics. I'd rather do "real" updating, such as birthmonths, ages, etc, as opposed to adding extra pics.

Again, hopefully by the end of the month, I'll have my laptop back and we'll be back to normal for the November Update... I'm gonna release an October update, just expect it to be "less than normal." We'll work on catching up ASAP. Just bear with me... :)

  15. Not gonna type too much as it's late and I need to get this laptop ready to go into the shop tomorrow... I need to catch up on some renames, so if you mentioned some in the past month, I'm hoping to get them done for next month's update. I'll be working off of a harddrive while my computer is getting fixed, so I'll still be able to update, it'll juset likely be slower, so fair warning, pending on how long it takes for my laptop to get back, October might be a lighter update than normal.

Here's the "Removed" list... Just 5 and I doubt anyone knows/cares about them:

    Workers

    -------

Candice - Couldn't find anything on her.

Fox - Couldn't find anything on her.

Ginger Snaps - Couldn't find anything on her.

Konrad - No Pic, No Info.

Nina - Couldn't find anything on her.

  16. Hey Bill, I'm not trying to rush you, but I was wondering if everything was on schedule for a 9/1/12 release of the latest update, or if it will be pushed back. Thanks for all you do man.

Shooting for a release before Monday... Ideally, I'd like to get it done by the end of the evening tonight, but just dunno if that's gonna happen. To be hnest, I've still got a fair chunk of stuff I want to get on this update and it might take a bit longer to get that done.

I really need to get this laptop in to get a new harddrive and the plan is to have it in by Tuesday at the latest... The update will be out before the computer hits the shop, obviously.

    -Bill

  17. The problem is though it is not as dasy to have 100 or so talents you need to have on tv within 7 shows. Now it seems like the entire "developmental roster" is now on the main roster. The problem is now you have to manage 100 workers and not have a true developmental program to the way the game was created.

AAA has 91 workers, none of which are in development and only have one show per week...

CMLL has 128 workers, none are in development and have 2 shows per week...

WWE has 145 workers, 23 are Non-Wrestlers and 26 are in development... That's really 96 workers currently on the active roster. Even by dropping their number of shows to 3, that's still 3 times the amount of shows to put them on TV than you do for AAA with the roster pretty much the same size... Even if you count the Non-Wrestlers, that's 119 for 3 shows a week, compared to CMML's 128 with 2 shows... WWE looks to be in a better position than both of those promotions...

    -Bill

  18. The main problem I see with WWE as is, is the amount of talent you need to have on tv each week. YES there is no RAW SmackDown split but you look at guys on NXT, they get tv every other week if they are lucky and if not, every three weeks. By doing this, the NXTers would be more likely to get "upset with management" due to lack of use. I think with NXT being FCW it should be developmental and I think it should be removed from the game. It is only seen locally and most WWE fans can't watch it now. I haven't seen episodes in WEEKS since week 3 I think just because of how much content control WWE has over its products.

    From the guide:

As a rule of thumb, main eventers should appear on one third of your shows, everyone else should be on at least once in every seven shows.

Nobody on the NXT split is a Main Eventer, as a matter of fact, the highest card position for any NXT worker is Midcarder. Once in every seven shows would mean that you only need to use NXT workers in every other NXT episode in order to keep the morale up...

Also, I've personally been able to find every episode of NXT to date, less than 24 hours after they air... They're not too hard to find, if you want to watch them. Also, again, my guess is, WWE is going to look to feature NXT more in the not-too-distant future. I REALLY don't want to throw all of the workers back in development, just to have them start airing NXT on WWE.com, the newly christened NXT site, or another TV network as soon as I make changes.

I mentioned a couple months ago that I felt that NXT should be a bookable show and I'm pretty sure that everyone who had any comments about it agreed with me... Dunno why that should change now.

    -Bill

  19. I've been thinking about how to handle the "too many shows for WWE" issue as well...

First, I'm really against adding Saturday Morning Slam. First, from what I've read, they're only going to have one match per episode. Since, in EWR, the minimum amount of matches in a show you can book is 3, it's already pretty unrealistic from that aspect. Combine in the fact that there really isn't a "morning" slot in EWR and it really makes no sense to add it, especially since it's just a match that is taped during RAW or Smackdown (Not sure which one).

Currently, if we were to remove a show, to get WWE back down to 3, the one I would remove would be Superstars. IMO, it makes the most sense since it isn't really a separate "show," in the "drawing attendance and money" department. The people are paying for RAW or SmackDown, not Superstars. That would leave RAW, SmackDown and NXT...

While I can see an argument for dropping NXT instead of Superstars, NXT is actually a separate show, which draws a separate crowd and separate ticket sales. Also, with them overhauling the FCW site to now be the "NXT" site, I have to believe that they're looking into do more with NXT. Finally, my guess is that most people would rather book NXT (with a good chunk of an entirely different "roster" available to them) than book Superstars and having the same roster available that they have for RAW and SmackDown.

Those who have used WWE in the August update know that I have, in a way, given NXT it's own "brand" in the game, which I figured people would like, as it makes it easy to separate the full WWE roster from the workers that have appeared on NXT. The idea is, any worker appearing on an episode of NXT will be on that part of the roster.

Perhaps someone who has actually used WWE could give their thoughts on how the idea works in the game. I'm actually doing a similar thing with Shine, making it a roster split of Shimmer. That way, if anyone wants to have a show with JUST Shine (or NXT, in the case of WWE) workers, they can set the roster split to that on their booking sheet.

    -Bill

  20. Any chance of having Extreme Rising in the next update or have they not had enough shows yet? I think most of their workers are in the game already

Probably not, as they have had only one show (from what I know of). Combine that with the fact that my laptop has been acting up and there's a LOT of workers to add for the WXW C4 promotion, along with other workers to add... I've got the skeleton of WXW C4 in, but that's about it at the moment.

Adding WXW C4 gives us 33 promotions, meaning we have room to add one more before we have to delete any. Probably not going to delete any promotions this month, simply because, combined with the things I mentioned above, I dunno that I'll have enough time to remove a promotion correctly. I don't want to commit to deleting a promotion if I'm not sure if I'll have enough time to do it properly.

I do have a roster for Resistance Pro, but don't have any info on what their size, money, image, risk, etc should be... Until I get that info, I'm gonna hold off on adding them, because I don't know enough about them to guesstimate, especially since we're adjusting all the promotions and images this month... Don't want to go through all that adjusting, just to slot R-Pro wrong and have to move them next month.

    -Bill

  21. Just tested, Street Fighter doesn't work for Drolix, Chuck Lennox, and Marcus Streets in WXW C4, probably doesn't for them in MCW either. Arrogant works for all three, instead.

The Street Fighter gimmick requires the promotion risk to be at least 50... You had WXWC4's risk at 46, MCW's is at 52, so it'll be fine there.

The obvious options would be the use the arrogant gimmick in WXW-C4 or bump their risk over 50...

Also, it wasn't mentioned in the notes, but Afa's daughter, Vale Anoai, is in the game as a production worker... Dunno if she's involved in WXW-C4 at all or not.

    SWA-SW: 22 (N/A)

    PWG: 19 (29)

Hopefully, these are agreeable to most everyone and we can move onto the Regional promotions.

  23. You said it yourself Bill Shine Wrestling runs every month while SHIMMER only does two double cards during the year (maybe 3 next year with the Mania weekend.) It seems like there is some overlap in talent but from my estimation besides Sara Del Ray, Nikki Roxx and Mercedes Martinez , there is no stars from SHIMMER in Shine. As of the June update, only Allysin Kay, Cherry Bomb, Christina Von Eerie, Leva Bates, Martinez, Roxx, Su Yung Taylor Made and Veda Scott overlap which all but Martinez and Roxx are not really stars in SHIMMER. (NOTE: Kay, Bomb, Martinez, Roxx, Scott are maxed out on promotions.)

I would say to me they look different enough to be two separate promotions. Space wie I see it but the roster would still have cuts in the game due to the size even as a cult. Not saying that is a be-all, end-all.

The plan for Shine is to set them as a brand split, like I did with NXT, setting them as a split of WWE. I've already made the adjustments to account for the first Shine taping and it was really easy to incoporate them in.

You realize that, when listing that "only" 10 workers worked both shimmer and Shine, that is HALF of Shine's entire roster... The August show will be adding MsChif, Mia Yim, Josie, Sassy Stephie, Portia Perez and Su Yung... So, more than half of the workers that are debuting for Shine 2 have alrrady worked in Shimmer.

My thought is, having 3 women's promotions (Shimmer,WSU and NCW-FF) in the game is enough. Adding Shine separately at this point IMO would take away a potential slot for another promotion. WSU is also at this time in sort of a limbo stage, as they have recently been sold. The nice thing is, if we want to split Shine off eventually as their own promotion, we can relatively easily. But, for now, I'm going to leave Shimmer and Shine as a combo, since at least half of Shine's workers have already worked Shimmer. It also makes it super easy to pull Shine out entirely, if for whatever reason they aren't successful as a promotion. While I think they will be fine, the fact is, they have only ran one show in their entire history at present time. To give them their own promotion slot after running one show, IMO is premature.
