  1. I think it runs on for as long as you want. I went onto be GM after my first year. But if you have the title and go on the different brands at different points. You'll probably get different storylines for about 6 years. Since every PPV will have a Champion, Challenger and Non-Title Storyline, if you swap brands I suppose 6 years would be right.
  2. If anyone else still doesn't know to burn the tables you need to get a finisher and stand next to the table and press triangle. Now to work out how to put people through said table... EDIT: Oh and when you get near the end of your first year in 24/7 mode there are a lot more "real" cutscenes, but I still only heard Kennedys voice 3 times.
  3. Sucks for no PS2 exclusive feature. I'm guessing the Wii's is Main Event Mode. Is the Wii version worth a pick-up too? Is it different enough to justify me having two versions? Anyone got any good CAW formulas yet? I suck at making CAWs, I copy mine from caws.ws since I have no internet connection for my PS2. So if anyones made any real wrestlers and are extremely bored, could they post the formula they used? Still can't work out how to burn those frickin tables. EDIT: I am freakishly stupid. I spent almost 10 minutes trying to burn a table with a fire extinguisher
  4. Whats the exclusive feature for the PS? Its really annoying that you can't to a season and a GM Mode at the same time. Does anybody know how to do the burning table? Season mode is really quite bad. No real cut scenes just random stuff backstage. I'm 4 Months in and I've heard my character talking twice and each time was only about a sentence. And advance matches are full of glitches. I was told it was going to be me and Matt Hardy vs Chavo and MVP, but in the end I got me and Mysterio vs Helms and Booker, with no real reason explained for the change. My first blood match was a handicap match, do I need to go on?
  5. Hopefully it will still be the same then. Thanks.
  6. Two days without an update? Are they just getting longer since we're nearing the end of the countdown or because A CERTAIN member pissed off YI?
  7. Anyone know how the pre-ordering works in Game now? I pre-ordered this game and they said they'd text me on Friday when they get my copy in. Do I have to take the receipt with me or show them the text? What do I have to do.
  8. 1. Sum 41 49 2. Metallica 3. My Chemical Romance 47 4. Queen 5. Muse 6. Fall Out Boy 76 7. Green Day 8. Linkin Park 58 9. Bullet For My Valentine 10. Foo Fighters More of my nominations are in than I thought would be. I'm surprised that Foo Fighters didn't make it in, but there is a chance there still to come. And I'll be damned if Metallica, Queen and Muse aren't floating near the top somewhere, since their (from what I can gather) the kind of things the hoards of elitists on this thread listen to. Although I can't say I blame them, its bloody good stuff. Although I am responsible for getting alot of the what the hell people actually like these bands..... ummmm bands getting on this list
  9. Never rated any CD's in this thread before so I'll throw in a few. I got all these about a week ago for my birthday and there all I've heard for a while. Foo Fighters - In Your Honor This ones a grower. The first listen through was very meh, but now I love nearly every track on their. The songs are quite hard to get out of your head to (espiacally Friend of a Friend, In Your Honor and Hell.) My only grievance is that the first CD is advertised as being loud and none of them are really that loud, except maybe Best Of You. But that still isn't that loud. 8/10 Bowling For Soup - A Hangover You Don't Deserve How can anyone not love this album? Fun cheesy pop rock, great lyrics and just general awesomeness. Mark my words if you hear it you will fall in love with Almost. 9/10 Metallica - ? I don't know what this albums called, windows media player says its a self entitled album, shops say it hasn't got an album name and I like to call it the Black Album. The album we're talking about here is the Metallica album with a completely black cover. This album surprises me. Most songs are stellar but not great like I thought. The Unforgiven, Sad But True, Nothing Else Matters and Enter Sandman are all frickin awesome. But the others are listenable, but just not up to that great Metallica standard you'd expect. All the songs I listed are really worth listening to though, the into to Enter Sandman is just awesomeness and the lyrics of The Unforgiven are second only to The Unforgiven II. 5.5/10 Green Day - International Superhits Gold. Pure gold. With a track list containing Welcome To Paradise, Basket Case, When I Come Around, Good Riddance, Nice Guys Finish Last how can this not be worth picking up? Granted its not a record you'll want to put on repeat and grab a broom and dance around your room singing (......that never happened) but it is great. 8/10
  10. 1. Sum 41 2. Metallica 3. My Chemical Romance 4. Queen 5. Muse 6. Fall Out Boy 7. Green Day 8. Linkin Park 9. Bullet For My Valentine 10. Foo Fighters
  11. Hoobastank - The Reason Killswitch Engage - Holy Diver Sum 41 - Pieces Sum 41 - 88 Foo Fighters - Monkey Wrench Nirvana - Heart Shaped Box Kanye West - Stronger Sean Kingston - Beautiful Girls Metallica - The Unforgiven II
  12. Ashley Tisdale................... I generally like Alternative Rock music and most of my friends do, so this is really guilty for me. I have to hide the CD when any of my friends come round.
  13. You don't even have to touch a Warhawk if you don't want to. A lot of the action generally takes place on the ground, and is quite fun. But the Warhawks control very well, either with the tilt controls or analog. I wouldn't get it for full price though.
  14. I should of mentioned that my parents won't let me have 18's and aren't too keen on letting me have 15's (the only 15's I own are the Smackdown games, the tony hawk games and call of duty 3.) With what I can see of the games Kane and Lynch looks like its going to be an 18, despite looking incredibly awesome. If its a 15 I'll probably end up getting it at some point. Warhawk looks stellar, I like 3rd person games way more than 1st person. And I've never played a flying game (apart from wipeout but thats not exactly flying) so if I hate the flying the ground should more than make up or that. Ninja Gaidem Sigma....... ninja's....... meh. I can't stand that Ratchet and Clank series, or Jak and Daxter, or anything remotely similair (bar Crash.) Uncharted looks like a definite possibility. Littlebigplanet looks extremely different. I might rent it. The write-up for infamous sounds great. It'll be interesting to see how this one develops. I'll probably get that one eventutally. Metal Gear Solid 4, stealth games aren't really my thing. Heavenly sword looks ok, doubt I'll be picking it up unless I see it really cheap anywhere. Strangehold doesn't strike me as something I should go out and buy straight away. Doubt I'll be buying it. Haze looks ***** if it was 3rd person it would look like a game of the year candidate (in my eyes) but its first person, but it should still be great. Formula 1 racing never fails to bore me. If I do but a racing game it would be street racing or a fun racing game (like Crask Nitro Kart or Super Mario Kart.) Army of two is 18+ Assasins creed looks like something I'd definetely get with the console. Condemned 2 looks like it will be 18....... and crap. Darkness is 18. The first 5 games I'll probably get are Motorstorm, Resistance Fall Of Man, Haze, Warhawk and Assasins Creed. Thanks to everyone who gave suggestions. EDIT: Haze is 18 god dammit. Replace Haze with Infamous then.
  15. Do you mean dead rising as the great game? Otherwise you've forgotten to list the games.
  16. I'll be able to afford a PS3 in about April (a bit early to be asking this question but theres not harm in it.) So what great games are out there/going to be released before April and look great. I've already got my eye on Motorstorm, Resistance Fall of Man and Smackdown vs Raw 2008 (unless I buy it on PS2 or Wii first.) So any recommendations? EDIT: The Simpsons game and Skate look great too.
  17. Well if you still want recommendations then Eddie Guerreros cheating death, stealing life is very good. So is Shawn Michaels Heartbreak and Triumph and William Regal's Walking a Golden Mile is great. Well maybe Regals book may be better for the English instead of Canadians.
  18. I've thought of some more. Ok so 1 of these may not get as many replies but someone must like it..... surely. Bob Marley (apart from Three Little Birds, One Love and Redemption Song) Linkin Park (apart from Crawling, Numb and What I've done)
  19. Most of these songs have been great so far. I have 2 more bands now: HIM Bullet For My Valentine
  20. I'd prefer individual songs. Since I'm a bit tight on money ATM so youtube videos are where I'm listening to my music currently. Although I'll probably end up buying most of these albums at some point. And I'm extremely thankful for the Bowling For Soup stuff because my friend asked my if I liked Bowling For Soup and I said yes (because I like what i know) and she got us concert tickets.
  21. Thanks for the help so far. Also if Bowling For Soup (except 1985, High School Never Ends and Girl All The Bad Guys Want) and Muse (except from Supermassive Black Hole) could be added that would be great.
  22. Ok, theres a few bands that I've heard songs of recently that I really like. But I want to know more of their songs so if people can recommend me song songs from these bands it would be great. 1. Metallica (apart from fight with fire, nothing else matters and one) 2. Sum 41 (apart from In Too Deep, Motivation and Fat Lip) 3. Hawthorne Heights (apart from Saying Sorry) 4. My Chemical Romance (but nothing on the Black Parade album, the You Bought Me Your Bullets album, Helena and I'm not okay) 5. Billy Talent (apart from Surrender) I have a really diverse taste in rock music. Thanks in advance.
