I just read that you can only catch Bulbasaur/Charmander/Squirtle by transferring them. Is this true? I sold my Gameboy Advance and games like 6 months ago. I really wanted those pokemon. If it is true anyone want to trade? I don't know what I could offer people though since I don't even have the National Pokedex yet. I just need to see 20 more pokemon to get it though.

SM64 uses it minimally, like for selecting which stars to go after. FFIII uses it a little as far as I know, as it was entirely revamped

Do SM64 and FF actually use the stylus? Being from old consoles and all.

I guess this is the place to ask about the DS. I bought a DS last week, and with it Pokemon Diamond and New Super Mario Bros. What would be my best next purchase out of: Super Mario 64 Final Fantasy III Mario Kart ?

I never played the original. I said that I still thought it was very good, just I'd heard it was better. The wipeout game being wipeout pure or is there a newer one? EDIT: I haven't played Pulse. Pures fun though. Is Pulse practically the same, just with new ummmm.... flying things and tracks?

I'm a complete fanboy for the KH series (maybe its because I never tried Chain of Memories) Although I couldn't really tell you why.

I echo Hammys question about FF. FF tactics (while still very good) wasn't as good as I'd hoped. But at £15 it would be a crime not to buy it, even if it does dissapoint.

Your not going out this round, I'm struggling to pass. I'll try some more, but if I need to use the cheat that makes you never fail, just to get a score up, it will still be in the rules of the contest. Right?

How do you use star power while using a controller? On PS3.

With me still in the competition all you have to do is get your score in on time to get through to the next round.

Chain of memories was good on GBA, so I see no reason for it not to be good on DS. But honestly I've only played super mario bros on DS so the whole feel could be completely different. I on the other hand do like the Roxas story. The gameplay will definetely work on PSP. But the story doesn't seem that good. I don't really know enough about the story to make my final judgement yet though. I'm not expecting KH3 until mid 09.

Actually (at least where I'm from) people stop liking Fall Out Boy/My Chemical Romance when they hit 13/14. I'm pretty much the only person left that enjoys both bands. Although I do seem to have the worst taste in music according to this thread. Enjoying (Pre-American Idiot) Green Day, Muse and Foo Fighters. So anything I say should really be disregarded. And with what YI said about listening to all their albums straight through, this thread made me do just that. I've only had to skip Dance, Dance.

The only games I'm genuinely excited for are Kingdom Hearts: Birth By Sleep and 358/2 Days. Oh and Rock Band. All 3 may not even be out this year though. Though they better be, I'm getting a DS just for 358/2 days. MGS4, Mario Kart Wii, Super Smash Brothers Brawl and Star Wars The Force Unleashed look extremely good too. So does DMC4 but not on the same level as the others. How have the Kingdom Hearts games not been mentioned by anyone else?
