well just finished the 09/10 season still with Southampton finishing 4th and only 4 points off the top Southampton FC are into the Champions League! First time ever in all FM Games i've been offered the England job once in 2005 was the South Korea manager but that lasted a month. well pages 62 and 64 have got my story about my last 2 southampton seasons. after securing promotion through the play offs in my first season the club was bought out by a consortium during the summer which meant i had £20million to spend. I did sign Brian Mcbride in my first season for the extra firepower but Rasiak seemed to be doing the goods for me alone up front until the board accepted a £6million offer from a Spanish team on my behalf. try and sign Greg Halford, and Billy Sharp both good youngsters and Halford is great in the premiership as a target man up front. in my second season he was top scorer with a side with Jermain Defoe and Theo Walcott in. never used Bale at the moment i loaned him out in the first season to Rangers for the whole season and in my premiership season loaned him to Celtic for the whole season. he spent the third on loan to various Championship and seria A teams and now in my fourth season will be looking to show what he's made of. what's his average raiting for you Maxi? well what a second half of my first season in the premiership with the January transfer window bringing in two transfers who even i was shocked about. Transfer Listed Jermain Defoe for £6million! even though he was dropped after 5 matches with no goals and a average rating of 6.3 and then the biggest signing and im still asking how i managed to capture him but we saw the return of the best thing to come out of Southampton in the past few years as I signed Theo Walcott back from Arsenal for a cool and pretty cheap £6.5million!!! he was in the first team but had backup to first team as his status, so put in a £6.5million bid as a laugh as he was valued as £5million and low and behold he signed walcott actually destroyed many of the lower teams even netting 4 past wigan in the 5-1 thrashing. He ended up with 12 goals which isnt too bad and only 5 behind top scorer and Supporters Player of the Year Greg Halford. So finished the season in 10th just missing out on European Status but for being given the odds of 300-1 to win the title and being touted as one of the favourites to be relegated im doing quite well. Everton were the most shocking team to be relegated this season and have managed to sign Tim Cahill on recommendation from every single one of my scouts for £10million in the summer. Also having Derby's highly rated youngster Giles Barnes coming in for £2million. Currently towards the end of the european championships where England are through to the final after beating holland 2-0 in the semis. Roma fired there manager even with new signings KaKa, Luca Toni and others they only managed 5th in Seria A with newly promoted Juventus making a succesful return to Seria A and winning the title, I was favourite to take over the job but declined in the media and also declined when they went to offer me the job. want to make southampton a premiership winning team before leaving for a different team. Okay well after getting a laptop for xmas i have now got a decent pc which runs Footy Manager super fast with the English, Spanish, Italian, Scottish and dutch leagues. compared to my old pc which struggled to run just the English leagues on its own. Taking over my beloved Southampton i started a dismal run with the board ready to throw me out i started a run into Christmas undefeated and only 6 points off the play off spots. Then it happened one of the premier division spanish teams put in a £6million offer for top scorer rasiak and the chairman accepted it on my behalf saying it was too good to turn down i managed to sign Greg Halford and Billy Sharp for a combined £3million to replace Rasiak and then we were rolling. Sharp scoring 5 in his first 3 games and then halford netting in seven consecutive games. we solidified ourselves into the playoff spots and were battiling West Brom for the 2nd spot. Last day of the season and we were going through on goal difference with West Brom loosing to top place and champions ipswich, then Kevin Phillips pops up for West Brom and nets two in the last minutes and leave me in third. easily dispatched Derby in the semi final of the playoffs and then went to penalties in the final against QPR. At this point couldn't actually watch the screen but when i looked up 5-4 to the saints and next season looking forward to the premiership. straight away i became a hero with Greg Halford and Billy Sharp both being loved with the saints. and then during summer the club was taken over by a Consortium giving me £20million to spend on new signings and making sure i stayed up for the season. signed Chris Kirkland for £1million from Liverpool, Christian Veiri for free from Inter for experience, also got Anthony Vanden Borre from recently relegated seria A side Parma for £2.5 million. Also signed Danny Mills from Man City for £100k and Lucas Neill from Relegated Blackburn for £3million. Biggest signing and was shocked he signed from me was Stewart Downing from also relegated Middlesbrough for £7million may of cost quite a bit but the fans loved me for it. Currently the first half of the season has gone surprisingly well be it opening with Champions Arsenal in the first match even with Halford scoring the first before Henry and Reyes ripped me apart for a 3-1 loss. then the first south coast derby against the pompey scum which ended in a 1-1 draw with captain Dominic Matteo scoring a last minute penalty to make it all square. 5 games in and then we went to Stamford bridge for a match which i expected to get raped in. No doubt they threw everything at us but with 4 across the middle and one just infront of the defence we battled and with Kirkland earing a man of the match display and then it happened 80th minute Stewie Downing crossed for Halford to head straight past Chec and give us the 1-0 victory!!! Was amazing and my biggest win so far this season especially a few games afterwards loosing 5-0 to Man Utd. Well heres most of the progress so far will update it in a bit with my january signings and how im doing.

Chelsea are 8th and they have signed Cambassio and Torres. looks like money cant buy you the title. loving the game though just gotta juggle it with college because normally i muck up in college around this time each year due to the newest FM

blimmin love it. kinda got bored of FM2006 mainly cause i have quite a slow PC but im loving the demo. joined randomly as Middlesbrough and was loosing 6 on the trot in the league then i get questioned by the media whether i have lost faith in my team i said of course not im 100% behind the team. then we beat watford 1-0 then spurs 4-1 and then reading 2-0 but now im in debt, the board pay off £4 million but now im 2 million in debt. and only have Yakubu, Viduka and Forsell which are pretty crappy upfront now relying on Boro's damn good youth academy which is good and having them tutored by viduka which is a cool addition. cant wait until it comes out

If Portugal Win's WE RIOT!!! lol jokes aside I think we should do alright, last night the probable line up was the 4-5-1 with neville back and hargreves in the holding role. with portugal without Deco then it almost limits there attacking threat. by this i mean if you looked at the other matches where portugal played most of there attacking motions went through Deco as he was the playmaker in the side. now im doubting whoever it is that takes his position will be able to fill the role that deco left and is so good at. anywho i hope we do win. I'm off to Portugal for 2 weeks on Sunday Night, packed 3 england shirts if we win im gunna be a marked man oh well. Come On England
