Amen to that. And I'm also really tired of hearing the "Romo is going to become a real leader this year" crap. They've been saying that for the past several years, and honestly, it's NOT going to happen. Romo is always going to be Romo, and the Cowboys needs to stop pretending otherwise. They have a shot at doing really well this year thanks to (imo) some good off-season moves and the draft. I just hope that they can get things together enough to make a real push soon.

So have I missed much?

Oh what the hell, why not? In other news, hey guys, I'm back.

I wanted to get on here and apologize to those whose games I'm in. I haven't been able to access the board for several days due to a perfect storm of crap (laptop broke, iPod touch broke, issues with the online on my PS3, etc), which have resulted in me just now being able to get on to post even this. I would still like to play, but it'll be a few days before my new laptop comes in and I have reliable net access. So I completely understand if you want to replace me, or if you already have. Sorry again to everyone. Not fun.

Yeah, you held out well Hickey. Of course, we could have ALL probably made it to the end, but...

I hate cults more now that I thought I was in one, and wasn't.

This...this is amazing.

I'm in if you'll have me

Watched Murder by Death today. An old favorite murder mystery/parody with some great comedy and some of the worlds best actors and actresses chewing the scenery in delightful fashion.
-
In if you'll have me.

Didn't like Ultimate Alliance 2 as much as 1. Still was fun to play with a group of friends.

Saw the list was updated, and didn't see this on here. Let me try this again (in case it was just overlooked. If there was another reason, feel free to ignore). I'd like to register Divine Comedy Mafia; Canticle Two: Purgatorio. Thinking 17 players.
-
Damn LSU players and their stupid stupid bar fighting. >_<
-
UFC Undisputed 11, the MLB The Show '11, and recently started back on some Mass Effect (my renegade run). Good stuff all around. Still have a TON of games on the WII and PS3 I need to finish though.

It's up to phat really. I certainly don't want to stand in the way of someone getting to experience the intense frustrationfun that is mafia.
All seriousness though man, it's fine with me either way phat. You gotta start somewhere.
-
Damn Sean, that sucks. Sorry man.
-
Well crap. Looks like I'm a couple of minutes too late. I think. Anyway, if I am, I'll be on the reserve list if you want. (Y)

That was a really good main card at least. I missed all of the Facebook fights, but I heard those were pretty good as well. Henderson was totally dominate, Lytle/Hardy was a good slugfest and had a great ending, and Cerrone won big, which made my wife very happy. Overall it was one of those free cards that I wouldn't have felt ripped off if I had paid money.

in LOL worthy news, the 49'ers have signed Daunte Culpepper during their current QB controversy. really? the guy who hasn't been in the league for TWO YEARS? the guy last famous for helping lead the Lions to 0-16?
:lmao:
Oh those wacky 49ers.

Yeah, again, totally my fault, should have just started modkilling the scum out of boredom and abject favouritism.
({)
I think you've done well considering that yeah, trying to run a game using mostly a cell phone is a bitch and a half.

I'm kind of thinking that the SEC wants to wait until A&M regents meet and decide for sure what they want to do. I mean, yea, it's pretty evident, but the SEC doesn't want to look bad by talking about adding A&M and then getting turned down. Also, as someone pointed out, they don't want to just take ANYBODY as the 14th team, so waiting until they have a really good program lined up there makes sense.

Been watching King of the Hill on Netflix all day. Probably gonna watch either Defiance or the Les Miserables 25th Anniversary Concert on BR again tonight.

I'll do it.

Matt Hamill has announced on his website that he's retiring.
"Today is a sad day for me. After six years and 13 fights in the UFC I'm ready to hang up my gloves and retire from this amazing sport. The UFC has been extremely good to me and given me an opportunity to make a great living. That exposure has allowed me options outside the Octagon as well. I just don't have it in me to fight anymore and my last two performances have shown that.
I was ready to make this decision after UFC 130 but my friends, family coaches and most importantly my daughter encouraged me to give it one last chance. My career has been plagued by injuries starting with The Ultimate Fighter and disrupted my training ever since.
There hasn't been even one training camp where I've been able to train without training around an injury. I have not been kind to my body and it has nothing left after 28 years of non stop competition. It's time to finally give it a rest. I can't continue to fight without having the hunger and desire to do so. I can't let my performances reflect on my coaches who are the best in the world and the reason I've made it this far."
Goes on to say that he'll still be coaching, and thanks a bunch of people. Interesting, but I guess if his heart isn't in it anymore, it's the best thing to do.

That really was a great main event. Lots of action both on the feet and on the ground, and a nice submission by the Zombie to finish things off. Don't know if he can take out Aldo or not, but it certainly would be entertaining to watch him try.
