  1. Alright got a bit further last night than I intended, turned on today after completing the Rock Tunnel and catching my first non-Charmander pokemon, Vulpix! After a bit of trainer battling and grinding, here's what I'm looking at heading into Celadon City to take on Team Rocket and Erika. Charizard - Level 41 - Mega Punch, Flamethrower, Wing Attack, Steel Claw Vulpix - Level 24 - Confuse Ray, Will O Wisp, Ember, Quick Attack The basic strategy for the moment is Vulpix leading off so she's getting some experience regardless because I really need her level up quickly. If she can take the opponent with her annoyance technique (Confuse, Burn), she does. Otherwise, swap out with Big Brother Charizard and all is well. My Charizard is an absolute beast, only fainting once his entire life, due to poisoning on the way to Mt. Moon. It is really nice to finally have a second pokemon for varity though.
  2. Quick update for day 2. Made it through Mt. Moon with zero difficulties, beat my rival with Charmeleon only losing 17 hp for the entire fight. Beat nugget bridge and the path to Bill before taking it to Misty. Staryu got OHKO'd by Mega Punch and two hits to knock out Starmie. My hardest fight ever is already done and in the books. Now, my level 30 Charmeleon and I are on to Vermillion City and I feel a little silly for not being psyched about getting fire type.
  3. Quick update from my end as I just finished with Pewter City. I got lucky taking LeafGreen instead of the original Red/Blue because I totally forgot that Charmander learned Metal Claw....and that steel was super-effective against Rock. Brock and his little friend went down quickly without even having to leave to heal. I am savoring this moment because, in case I haven't mentioned it enough already, fighting Misty is really going to suck. My Team: Level 16 Charmeleon ....And that's it. My eventual team is going to wind up as Charizard, Ninetails, Flareon, Magmar, Moltres and Rapidash because these are the only six fire pokemon I can think of in LeafGreen. (Stupid Growlithe/Archanine and your exclusivity.)
  4. Was actually pulling for poison, but I suppose I can live with beastly fire types. The Misty fight is going to suck though.
  5. Just like they did before release with the other four classes, Gearbox has put the Mechromancer skill tree up on the Borderlands website so people can get a feel for the character before it drops. Mechromancer Looks to be a lot of fun, honestly. I'm really excited for this and it looks like they decided to go a different direction and take a risk or two with this class. She's definitely going to play different than anything we've had before and I can't wait.
  6. The strategy that helped me out is the same one that should always be used: Ignore the shit out of Claptrap. While I was "protecting" the constructor? Lost half it's health from stray fire aimed at me. Once I started leading the just shit tons of robots away, no damage whatsoever. You're the target, not the constructor. Hope that helps.
  7. When I first got the Lynchwood missions, they were about three levels above me. I just got done with them now and it was still insanely frustrating because the enemies never stop respawning. I'm not ashamed to admit, I yelled at the tv a few times.
  8. I'm pretty sure the issue 106 bit was the main artist who took over on issue #6, so it will be his 100th issue. I cannot for the life of me imagine Negan being wrapped up in 6 issues. I think he is going to be around for a while.
  9. I think T-dog is about to start to transition into Tyreese. Am I the only one who noticed his weapon of choice during theq zombie beatdown montage?
  10. I feel like they weren't so much "stuck" outside as much as they chose to wait. Whether it's due to some of the theories being kicked around about Ben, namely that he felt he needed to repent, or some other reason. I personally choose to look at it like this, "Heaven" in this sense was just them being with the people they cared most about. If that is the case, wouldn't you want to wait to go together. Think about some of the people missing. Michael and Walt never cared explicitly for the people on the Island, so they presumably just went on since they had each other. Where as people like Sun and Jin were waiting on their best friends in Kate and Sawyer, who were waiting on Jack. It was just a tiered structure where they all waited on the people they loved. And they needed to interact with their loved ones to achieve true happiness and peace in order to ascend to the next level. At least, that's my theory anyway. EDIT: Zero makes a damn good point with the togetherness theme, completely skipped my mind.
  11. It's like Christian said: "Everybody dies, kiddo."
  12. I'm not sure if everyone watched the 2 hour background before LOST aired, but there were a ton of interviews and the creators repeatedly drove the point home. "It's a show about characters and character development. Watching these people grow into who they are now and seeing how they got there." Like Brian said, the show was never about the Island, it was just the setting and the conflict necessary to drive the characters. Additionally, I can only speak for myself but I would have had a bad taste in my mouth if everything HAD been answered. I mean...it wouldn't even feel like LOST anymore if we knew everything that was going on.
  13. On Ben not joining the rest, I feel like it could possibly just mean he's still alive. However, to even be interacting with this alternate existance, he'd have to be on a higher state of existance than when we last saw him. I feel either Hurley made him the new Richard according to the Number 2 comments or, more likely, he's the new Jacob which would assumedly let him be involved in the afterlife with the rest of the characters. EDIT: By "new Jacob," I mean Hurley's replacement since Hurley has obviously given up the title and his life if he's in the church with the rest of the mortals.
