  1. Tanner Ainge has betrayed his family and should be beaten in the street. I wish some off season decisions would happen already. I know Hayward is meeting with Miami, Boston and Utah this weekend. But I've read articles saying that Griffin is the actual main target (which makes no sense), that we are going to package Isiah Thomas and draft picks to trade for Russell Westbrook (which makes less sense) and that they're gonna miss all their targets and sign Rudy Gay and Zach Randolph (which makes us.....the Grizzlies?). I love the off-season for the anything can happen vibe but I go crazy for the sports writers scrambling for stories.
  2. Truthfully, I don't think Ainge sees a ton of value in Butler for some reason. The constant talks between Boston/Chicago have always hit some snag, whether it was Crowder at the trade deadline this season or the rumored refusal to deal the number 3 pick on draft night. I know for a fact we could've made a better offer than Minnesota did. That being said, I feel like certain trades are dying (looking at you, Phil) because people know how heavy the C's are on assets and aren't looking for fair deals.
  3. I actually really like Tatum for the Celtics too. He meshes well with Brown and Smart which will be a good young core going forward.
  4. That's because LaVar Ball's Son is already an All-Star before his first game. Obviously.
  5. @The Chiksrara Special yes, but they also said he had a 59% chance to be a bust.
  6. I hope everyone is right and we're dealing Taytum. He's good but we really need some star power soon. Maybe we trade for George like people are speculating and that helps sign Hayward (sorry @Pooker). That puts Cleveland and Golden State on notice.
  7. After Josh Jackson declined a workout with the C's, this was basically the foregone conclusion if the Celtics kept the number 3 pick. So apparently the Sixers swap really was just because they didn't want another guard.
  8. Apparently to send Porzingas to Boston, the Knicks wanted the number 3 pick, Brooklyn's pick in next year's draft, Jaylen Brown AND Jae Crowder. So I find that Phoenix rumor suspiciously light.
  9. If the rumors are true, Boston is apparently very willing to trade you an entire rebuild for Jimmy.
  10. Just.......just god dammit Boston. We don't need another guard, I get that. But that means we are banking our future on Isiah, who is already in his 30s. As opposed to Fultz who looks to be a top tier talent. For more draft picks. I love Trader Danny but there is a roster cap, we could make a second team with all the picks we already have. And this is from someone who understands we need a forward much more than a guard.
  11. @Katsuya loves Oslo only reason I didn't cut him earlier was because he had a strong deck and I didn't want us to drop back to Hardened. Then suddenly everyone's decks got VERY good. I am perfectly content running 9 people for a while unless someone here needs a spot
  12. The vipers lost one of our random members because we didn't start a battleground quickly enough to suit them. Considering he participated maybe half the time and was the person I was gonna cut if we needed spot for an EWBer, I'm fine with that. Speaking of anyone need a spot? We're already halfway through Elite+
  13. I picked up Killing Floor 2 around Christmas for 25 bucks I believe? I don't regret a cent even with it being free this month. It's the perfect game if you've had a bad day at work and just want to zone out with heavy metal and gory violence.
  14. I got network error'd when opening my rewards this morning. Then again while trying to go through my cards and figure out what was new. Yeah it sure is a team event day.
  15. This entire round has been weird for the Vipers. They barely play at all to start then their entire team suddenly rushes points. We stagnate then are able to barely squeak ahead. I had the worst deck but somehow the most points. Just a weird match.
  16. Yeah amazing job, Vipers. Got an Elite Nikki Bella which is obviously greatly appreciated. And a second HD Handsome Rusev which makes another pro I need to work on.
  17. @The Big Bratwurst, what's your level in game? The Vipers have an inactive random but literally just pushed into Elite so we can't afford to downgrade cards at the moment.
  18. Put me in @Busch Strowman's camp. It's one thing for him to leave and go home to the Wizards or to any number or teams where he could have been the difference maker. Instead he went to the team they should have eliminated the year before with the best record in history because he wanted a ring. The Heat was three players frustrated at front offices not getting them help who decided to make a superteam. The Celtics was smart trading for hungry veterans who desperately wanted a ring before they retired who wound up making a superteam. Durant went to an already established superteam when he could have been the difference maker for the Celtics/Wizards/Thunder/Bulls/Spurs/Grizzlies/etc. Any other playoff team would have instantly been discussed for the finals if they got Durant. Go Cleveland.
  19. Vipers are at about 12 hours left in the closest battleground we've had yet. We're up, but only by about 1,000 points. So if anyone has any attacks left, try to get them in.
  20. ....I saw soundgarden at musicfest last Sunday. They were the closing act for the weekend and all anyone could talk about. The man hadn't lost a step in his performance and I had legit chills listening to his voice over those giant speakers. Glad I got to hear them but......Fuck.
  21. There seem to be two camps. People who want the GSW/Cleveland rematch because they're the best two teams. And the people who want literally anything else. And since San An stands no chance without Leonard, people are pulling for Boston more.
  22. This is when I, as a Boston fan, have to point out this is the first number 1 pick we have ever had since they implemented the modern draft. ....I still can't believe Brooklyn agreed to that stupid God damned trade.
  23. @Jasonmufc I disagree about Olynyk and have been singing his praises for a few years. He's not some elite big man, but in a bench role he's very good at what he does. A stretch 4 who can shoot the three and space the floor fits well with boston's current small ball system. He's definitely gonna get overpaid, but everyone is now. That happened the day Mike Conley was one of the highest paid players in the league. As for his reputation as a villain and a dirty player, people also forget the guy was a point guard for most of his career until he had a massive growth spurt. He's always gonna be a lanky awkward big man without enough mass and that leads to some awkward spots. And draymond green calling him one of the dirtiest players in the league was outright laughable.
