I'd kill for a really good NFL GM game. In Madden, you're basically forced to do the offseason as all 32 teams in order to not have the computer fuck everything up by the 6th season or so.

A few days ago I bought GTA III, Vice City, and San Andreas new in a collector's edition trilogy package for $30.

Neither Peyton nor LT can be a cover athlete. LT was already approached this year, and I think one before. He has a deal with another company that prevents him from being on the cover, same for Manning.

I really enjoyed the 2-hour premiere. The only thing that irritates me is that Winston speaks like a parodied Latino. I get it, its his character, but his dialogue would be fine without every other word being "holmes."

That was a pretty shitty pilot, and didn't have nearly enough Amy Acker. I had high hopes, so hopefully it gets better. A lot of the actors were pretty terrible.

The suspensions are hardly ridiculous, but the fact that Henry got half of the suspension Jones got is. It should be reversed if anything.

Maybe I'll get killed for this, but the entire album was actually pretty good. They were really one hit wonders with this song, but I thought the whole album was worth a listen.

I liked it, though it seemed like nothing had really happened other than the fight until he finally killed the guy. Seemed like a ton of forshadowing though. Lots of references to ducks, Bobby standing up to Tony, the FBI guys being pissed that they lost a chance to have a huge case against Tony, and Tony getting a big motherfucking gun.

I saw Saliva live at X-Fest this year, they were decent. I might be seeing Saliva and Buckcherry tomorrow but it depends on whether or not my friends parent's will let her go.

I agree with Doc, that font is pretty terrible to look at and I don't like the jagged edges.

I hope they add a feature to let you listen to music outside of the car, since I probably spend 80% of the game outside of cars it sucks to only be able to listen to the radio station the other 20%

I don't see why it wouldn't be present day. GTA III was "present day." So IV would have to be "present day" as well or it wouldn't really be a sequel, now would it?

I don't think that's important. Vice City was obviously '80s and San Andreas early '90s. If you just mean sequel as in GTA3 to GTA4, then I don't think it's important that it takes places later on.

..but it does look present day. Or at least early '00s. There was no clip of the Twin Towers or anything.

Another disadvantage of this setting then, for me at least is that I think Tommy Vercetti was referred to as dead in San Andreas by the lawyer, so I wanted it to take place in between Vice City and SA.

erm, Liberty City IS New York City.

I imagine this time it'll be the whole New York state, though. I really wasn't bothered where they'd take this game, out of the choices of New York and UK/Europe, as both has advantages. What I'm concerned with is that obviously the game area is again going to be much bigger than the game before and we all know that San Andreas was made so massive by all that countryside. New York has no (or very little?) countryside, so I'm interested to see what they do with that. It probably just means an absolutely HUGE city-covered game, covering all aspects of NY state. Also glad that there's a major sign of the Russians being back in the game. It also probably means that the game will again be heavily gang influenced like GTA3 and include the Mafia, Yakuza, Triads, Cartels etc.
