  1. I like the ending in the workprint personally better than the theatrical version. I think the theatrical ending dragged a bit too much and I was just waiting for it to end. Also the escape was dragged out too much in the theatrical version. The workprint escape was much simpler and moved the story along faster.

  2. Looks like a very good tournament as there really isn't a clear cut winner in this one. It's up for grabs as there's some great competition. Although I'm kinda dissapointed that there isn't enough "international flavor" in the tournament. I would've liked to see Milano Collection AT in the tourny myself. None the less I'll be reading especially for the fued ender between Charlie and 'Cide.

    APW Tag Team Championships

  3. A great show as usual. I'm also intrigued to as what Samoa Joe and the Pack and Colt Cabana will be up to next now that there feud is over. I'm hoping that the Daniels/Sydal feud is not over yet because that ending to the match left a sour taste in everyone's mouth. Matt Sydal must have his revenge! Awesome that SJK went over! The post-match brawl between Haas and Homicide was great and it's really turning out to be a great blood feud. Who knows what kind of sick twisted shit Homicide will do next. Alex Shelley retaining was a foregone conclusion but I knew it would be a competitive match. Right now I don't see anyone with enough momentum to take the title off of him but Homicide. However you know Charlie Haas is going to get involved in the match. I wanted Roderick Strong to go over in the four-way but they were also in New York, Homicide's hometown, then again the fans were booing him so meh <_<

  4. The Final Battle

No Disqualifications, No Count-outs, no Interference, Anything Goes STREETFIGHT!

Samoa Joe vs. 'Classic' Colt Cabana

Colt will finally get the big victory ala his feud with Homicide in ROH and earn Joe's respect.

    APW Championship

    Alex Shelley © vs. Delirious

As much as I mark for Delirious Shelley will most likely retain but Delirious will take Shelley to the limit per usual.

    APW Lightweight Championship

Jay Lethal © vs. 'Sterling' James Keenan

    ::continues chant:: SJK! SJK! SJK!

    Dog-Collar Match

    Danny Daniels vs. Matt Sydal

Even though I've never been right.

    Four Corner Match

Winner gets guaranteed APW Championship match

Charlie Haas vs. Ricky Reyes vs. Roderick Strong vs. 'The Notorious 187' Homicide

    The Battle of Gen Next

    Rocky Romero vs. Sedrick Strong

Just cause I like Rocky Romero

Jimmy Rave and 'Double C' Claudio Castagnoli vs. The Aerial Express (Scorpio Sky/Quicksilver)

    Future tag champs

    KUDO vs. Brandon Thomaselli

    Brandon Tomaselli does the J.O.B.

Hallowicked and 'The Generic Luchadore' El Generico vs. Southern Comfort (Tracy Smothers/Chris Hamrick)

    The Hallowicked Express keeps rolling

  5. APW Championship

Alex Shelley © vs. Charlie Haas

    - Haas wins the title setting up Homicide vs. Haas for the APW Championship.

    APW Tag Team Championships

Matt Sydal and Delirious © vs. The Strong Brothers (Roderick and Sedrick Strong)

    - The Champions will retain, Cutting Edge will probably make a run in.

    APW Lightweight Championship

    Jay Lethal © vs. Spud

    - Jay Lethal will retain.

    Grudge Match

Jerry Lynn vs. 'The Notorious 187' Homicide

    - See the APW Championship match.

'Classic' Colt Cabana vs. 'Mr Wrestling' Kevin Steen

    - You know Joe and Rocky will get involved. Steen to make the save setting up Cabana/Steen against Joe/Rocky.

    Jimmy Jacobs vs. Ricky Reyes

    - Good job signing Jimmy. Jacobs wins his debut.

Hallowicked and 'The Generic Luchadore' El Generico vs. Salvatore Rinauro and 'Sterling' James Keenan

    - The Masked Men will win with Rinauro taking the pin to keep SJK strong for his title match against Jay

    Trik Davis vs. Grim Reefer

    - I dunno I like Reefer better

    6 Man Tag match

The Ring Crew Express (Dunn/Marcos) and KUDO vs. The Iron Saints (Vito, Sal and Brandon Thomaselli)

    - The Saints need the win here

  6. That really sucks about Aries, it makes me wonder who you're going to get to face Shelley now.

    APW - It Begins Again...

    February 9th 2007

    Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

    Final Card:

    HUGE Tag Team Main Event

Alex Shelley and 'The Notorious 187' Homicide vs. Jerry Lynn and Charlie Haas

Lynn and Haas need the win here

    APW Lightweight Championship

Jay Lethal © vs. 'Sterling' James Keenan

SJK by DQ. I think Hallowicked will return the favor to SJK from last month but at the same time cost Jay Lethal the match. Hence setting up a potential three-way

Samoa Joe vs. 'The Messiah of the Backbreaker' Roderick Strong

Joe with the win but Strong will have a good outing

Ricky Reyes vs. 'Classic' Colt Cabana

Colt with the win to further the feud with Samoa Joe

    Four Corner Match

Rocky Romero vs. Delirious vs. Sedrick Strong vs. Jimmy Rave

Rave gets the win in his return match

    Danny Daniels vs. Matt Sydal

Sydal needs to get his win back against Daniels but the Cutting Edge will probably run in for a beat down afterwards with the Lizard Man, Delirious making the save for his partner

The Iron Saints (Vito and Sal Thomaselli) vs. The Ring Crew Express (Dunn/Marcos)

The Saints need the win here

    Bonus Match

    Hallowicked vs. KUDO

    Common sense here

    Plus: The Wildcards Open Challenge!

  7. The line with Delirious trying to eat the Tag team championship :lmao: The Joe/Cabana feud is shaping up nicely, and the ending of the show with Samoa Joe coming out to answer Alex Shelley's challenge was great. Similar to Bryan Danielson on the 4/1 ROH show when he claimed he was the greatest ROH champion. Also the prospect of a Joe/Shelley match has me excited. I'm also really intrigued as to who this new superstar is that will face Alex Shelley, someone from Shelley's past? Austin Aries maybe?!

  8. APW Championship

Alex Shelley © vs. Charlie Haas

    APW Lightweight Championship

Jay Lethal © vs. Winner of six man mayhem

    APW Tag Team Championships

The Strong Brothers © vs. Matt Sydal and Delirious

    Grudge Match

'Classic' Colt Cabana vs. Samoa Joe

    Grudge Match II

Jerry Lynn vs. 'The Notorious 187' Homicide

    Six Man Mayhem

Winner gets immediate APW Lightweight Championship match

Hallowicked vs. Grim Reefer vs. Trik Davis vs. Brandon Thomaselli vs. Sabian vs. 'Sterling' James Keenan

Salvatore Rinauro vs. 'The Generic Luchadore' El Generico

    Tag Team Attraction

Winners get a future APW Tag Team Championship match

Elimination Rules. Two teams start. Every three minutes, a new team enters. Elimination by pinfall, submission or DQ. Last Team standing wins.

The Ring Crew Express (Dunn/Marcos) vs. The Iron Saints (Vito and Sal Thomaselli) vs. Southern Comfort (Tracy Smothers/Chris Hamrick) vs. The Aerial Express (Scorpio Sky/Quicksilver) vs. The Wildcards (Eddie Kingston and 'Black' Jack Marciano) vs. The Havana Pitbulls (Ricky Reyes/Rocky Romero)

    Wrestler of the Year

    Alex Shelley

    Feud of the Year

    Alex Shelley vs. Jerry Lynn

    Show of the Year

All on the Line (Delirious/Milano vs. The Strong Brothers, Homicide vs. Haas, Shelley vs. Lynn Cage)

    Rising Star Award

    Delirious

  9. Glad to hear Jimmy Rave is making a return. He's a great talent, and pretty damn good heel to boot. Looking forward to The ME tag team match, Lethal vs. Delirious and The Six-Man.

    Unto the predictions:

    APW Championship

Alex Shelley © vs. Milano Collection AT

Milano is a stop-gap challenger for the title but it will still be a competive technical showcase

    APW Lightweight Championship

    Jay Lethal © vs. Delirious

As much as I mark for the Lizard man I don't see him coming out the victor, unless of course the match ends in a no-contest with B-Boy spoiling the match.

    Tag Team Main Event

    The return of Jerry Lynn!

Jerry Lynn and Charlie Haas vs. The Strong Style Thugs ('The Notorious 187' Homicide/B-Boy)

Jerry Lynn is making his return in this match so he needs the victory here.

    6 Man War!

'Classic' Colt Cabana and The Strong Brothers (Roderick and Sedrick Strong) vs. The Pack (Samoa Joe/Ricky Reyes/Rocky Romero)

It's gonna be a Wild Brawl that's for sure...I see Cabana using that European style and rolling up Joe for a quick 3.

    Danny Daniels vs. Matt Sydal

Sydal gets the win and moves on to face the Strongs next month

    Weapons Match

The Wildcards (Eddie Kingston/'Black' Jack Marciano) vs. The Ring Crew Express (Dunn/Marcos)

    RCE win the feud

Southern Comfort (Tracy Smothers/Chris Hamrick) vs. The Aerial Express (Scorpio Sky/Quicksilver)

    The AXP get the duke

Lightweight Showcase 8 Man Tag Team Match

Hallowicked, El Generico, Trik Davis and KUDO vs. The Iron Saints (Vito and Sal Thomaselli), 'Sterling' James Keenan and Salvatore Rinauro

Gotta go with the Italians and SJK

--- Plus, who has hired Jimmy Rave for the night? And will he make an 'impact'?

Alex Shelley + Rave = EMBASSY

  10. I finally caught up. This diary has a very ROH feel to it, and even resembles ROH with the newswire and the title historys and feud histroy "pages".

    APW Championship

    Triple-Threat Match

Alex Shelley © vs. Charlie Haas vs. 'The Notorious 187' Homicide

Shelley being the sneaky heel he is and all and steal a pinfall while the others are distracted with each other.

    APW Lightweight Championship

    Jay Lethal © vs. Hallowicked

Jay Lethal makes his first title defense. I'm guessing a B-Boy run-in post-match as well.

    APW Tag Team Championships

    Four-Corners Match

The Champions must be pinned to lose the titles.

The Strong Brothers (Roderick and Sedrick Strong) © vs. The Aerial Express (Scorpio Sky/Quicksilver) vs. Southern Comfort (Tracy Smothers/Chris Hamrick) vs. The Iron Saints (Vito and Sal Thomaselli)

I agree with TheRyno, there's really no other team in this match that has been booked strong [no pun intended] enough to take the belts off the Brothers.

'Classic' Colt Cabana vs. Rocky Romero w/Ricky Reyes and Samoa Joe

It's Colt Cabana~! Of course I'm gonna root for Cabanarama. The hometown boy gets the win, but suffers a post match beatdown from the Pack.

'Double C' Claudio Castagnoli vs. Milano Collection AT

This match is a toss-up it could go either way but I'm going to go with Milano

    Tables Match

The Wildcards (Eddie Kingston/'Black' Jack Marciano) vs. The Ring Crew Express (Dunn/Marcos)

    The RCE get their revenge

'The Generic Luchadore' El Generico vs. Salvatore Rinauro

Rinauro gets his win back over Generico that and he's been on a snide as of late. He needs a win here.

    Extreme Warfare Match

    * Six Men participate. Two are legal at once, and can tag in to any other competitor. Leaving the ring also counts as a tag.

    * The match is an elimination rules bout.

    * There are NO disqualifications, and no count-outs

    * Eliminations are via Pinfall or Submission only, and the decision MUST occur in the ring.

Danny Daniels vs. Matt Sydal vs. KUDO vs. Trik Davis vs. Josh Daniels vs. B-Boy

To keep him strong :P for the Tag title match in January.

    Bonus Match!

    Delirious vs. 'Sterling' James Keenan

    The Lizard Man triumphs!

  11. I did pretty bad last time. Just like everyone else I'm glad to see this is back, I feared it was dead. I'm plesantly surprised.

    Block E Action:

    -Jay Lethal vs. Ruckus

-Jimmy Jacobs vs. Sabian (subbing for El Generico)

    -Matt Sydal vs. B-Boy

    -Eddie Kingston vs. Homicide

    Block F Action:

    -Excess vs. Claudio Castagnoli

    -Jimmy Yang vs. BJ Whitmer

    -Arik Cannon vs. Trent Acid

-Low Ki vs. Austin Aries MOTN

  12. That's a real bummer as things were starting to get really good, I too am hoping this diary can continue, but if it doesn't, it's been a great run, maybe even better than your previous efforts. I've always enjoyed reading your diaries, and your match write ups are straightforeward and right to the point. I like how your shows are more story focused and less on the matches. If there's one that I don't like about reading some diaries is the long-winded, drawn out match write ups. I also was taking a liking to the sXe group Punk started with Matthews, and I also like the surprise appearance of Al Snow on the last show as Lance Storms partner. Al Snow/Lance Storm is a dream team of mine. The Matt Hardy push was great as well as I'm a big fan of his, and the Rhino/Taz feud was heating up. I also really wanted to know what Richards big announcement was, and of course who was gonna win the RXC title.

  13. AmDrag and Joey Matthews as the mystery entrants, nice. I hope we get to see more of Joey Matthews in RXC, and AmDrag is always a good addition to any roster.

The right people went over in the matches as well, although I'd rather have seen Storm beat Credible but that's just because I don't like Justin Credible. As long as he's eliminated in the next round I don't care.

Mr. RXC Matt Hardy for RXC Champion~!

  14. 8 - Against All Odds

    2 on 1 Handicap Match

    NWA Heavyweight Championship

Jeff Jarrett © vs. Randy Savage and Monty Brown

Jeff Jarrett retains yet again, when Savage makes a shocking turn and joins up with Planet Jarrett.

    7 - The Noose…

Unsanctioned Match – With No Referee

    Raven vs. Jeff Hardy

With: Slash, Sinn, Father James Mitchell, The Kru and the Insane Clown Posse ringside!

With the assorted cast of characters at ringside I doubt it's going to stay one on one for long, but I'll go with Jeff Hardy [just to go against the odds <_< ] and say he wins thanks to some interference from his brother, Matt Hardy.

    6 - Against All Odds

    3 on 2 Handicap Match

Abyss, Lex Luger and Sean Waltman vs. Kevin Nash and Scott Hall

The Outsiders because they just made their return and need a huge win. Also one of them is probably next in line for a title shot.

    5 - Against All Odds

    2 on 1 Handicap Match

    TNA X-Division Championship

Petey Williams © vs. Christopher Daniels and Elix Skipper

I will go with Daniels and Skipper winning just to be different and say Daniels gets the pin when Skipper is either incapacitated or Daniels just lays Skipper out and then pins Williams.

    4 - Against All Odds

    2 on 1 Handicap Match

Diamond Dallas Page vs. Konnan and Vampiro

Loosing to DDP would kill their heat.

    3 - Against All Odds

2 on 2 on 1 “Hardcore Wildcard” Handicap Match

Kid Kash and Dallas vs. Jimmy Snuka and Rowdy Roddy Piper vs. the Sandman

Kid Kash and Dallas just cause they need the win and they've been jobbing to those geezers for months now.

    2 - Against All Odds

4 on 5 Handicap Elimination Match

NWA Tag Team Championship – The Last Man Surviving Wins The Belts for His Team!

American Patriots © and America’s Most Wanted vs. New York Connection and Naturally Dark

Naturally Dark wins, just cause I like them and they'd be someone new besides the NYC or AMW. And I just don't see the Patriots surviving with the belts in this one.

    1 - Against All Odds

    X-Division Cluster Handicap Match with 2 on 1 on 2 on 1!

    Winner(s) Become The No1 Contender(s) To The X-Division Title!

Chris Sabin vs. Kazarian and Shane vs. Hector Garza vs. D-Ray 3000 and Shark Boy

Hail Sabin, Hail Sabin! I just see Sabin coming out of this one as the surprise winner.
