  1. Did you do this yourself?
  2. I know I'm in the minority, but I think that Mayweather would win if he went against Sherk. The fact that Mayweather would be wearing only 4 ounce gloves is a huge bonus. I just don't see how Sherk would be able to get in close enough to take down Mayweather without taking an amazing amount of shots. Mayweather could hit Sherk very, very hard quite a few times before Sherk got near him, especially with his reach. If just one of those shots stunned Sherk even for a second, Mayweather would take his chance and probably break Shrek's jaw.
  3. Darko will end up haunting you for a long time, especially if you guys don't win another championship. Oh, and like Walton said last night, Hinrich defends Wade as well as anyone in the entire NBA when he's healthy. Last year we challenged them as much as anyone else, and that was with a healthy Wade and no Ben Wallace. I like our chances at an "upset".
  4. I wouldn't call myself a Pacman fan, and with the new information I've re-did my thought process and came up with 4 games. The things I saw said that he had never went to trial, which is true, I just assumed that it meant he hadn't ever been charged/arrested. It was my mistake. But still, I'm a Bears fan, and I consider Tank's run-ins with the law far worse then Pacman's issues.
  5. Fair enough, the information I had was wrong. I still don't think a full-season suspension is in order for someone who, at least according to that, has a temper problem and smokes marijuana. To me, lashing out and verbally assaulting people is easily better then drinking and driving.
  6. No, but everyone calls the NFL a business first, I was using that as an example. He has never been charged with a crime, just the media has crucified him as this horrible human being when really, all he's done is not leave his friends behind when he should've at least only been with them in the privacy of his own home. I can see suspending him for 4 games and while I wouldn't like it, I can understand it. But to suspend someone who has character issues and nothing more for an entire season but to only suspend Chris Henry, who has been charged and convicted of more then one crime, for half a season is stupid.
  7. At my work, I've been called into my boss's office three or four times to discuss what my friends are doing, all of that because some of them have been arrested for marijuana possession. Hell, even once, my boss heard a rumor the I was out doing/selling cocaine. So, because of rumors, exaggerated stories, and the fact I'm not going to leave my friends behind, I deserve to lose my job for an entire year? I don't think Pacman should've been suspended at all, but I would've understood four games just to get his point across. I guess it's just something we'll agree to disagree on.
  8. Even if that is true, he didn't pull the trigger. And even if he did, he hasn't been convicted of anything. So, he has one thing that happened under Goodell's watch, no chargers, let alone convictions, yet because he has a bad reputation and is surrounded by people who make bad decisions, he deserves to miss a year? That's fucking retarded and thinking like that is reason that a written policy needs to be put in place.
  9. Please...the guys in jail for 4 months, he deserves just as much as Pacman has gotten.
  10. Yeah, because Pacman is guilty until proven innocent. How many times has he been arrested, let alone convicted, since he's been in the NFL? And what about under Goodell's watch?
  11. I meant get the 49ers first round and fourth round pick for Briggs.
  12. While I won't call him the greatest coach ever, because that really depends on what you like in a coach, I will say he was one of the best ever. Add in the fact he was a great person and really was a better molder of men then football players says a lot about what kind of man he was. He will be missed. RIP.
  13. I think the Bears could do a 1st and a 4th if it was for the 49ers. The 11th pick could be used on Olsen, then we'd have the 31st and 37th overall pick to build on the lines and/or just get depth.
  14. I'm not surprised, but don't rule out a deal just yet. The Redskins told the Bears their offer was Briggs and the 6th pick for the 31st pick, nothing else and they had to answer by Tuesday. There is no way that the Bears were going to be bullied like that into trading Briggs.
  15. I think 18 is probably a high enough level, but I can't be sure. Just gain a few and then give it another shot.
  16. I believe he beat out McGahee and Portis for the starting spot, but ended up getting both knees reconstructed before he even hit the NFL.
  17. I think that Johnson may fall. The Bucs, who have Clayton and Galloway, may steer away from Johnson and go for that guy Gruden loves. After Mike Williams (sure, he took a year off, but he dominated when he played in college and was a physical freak at the combine) a few years ago, taking a WR this early when it's not a desperate need isn't something that is a popular decision if it doesn't work out right away. Gruden (and I'm guessing the GM) probably don't have a lot of job security and the defense is aging.
  18. I agree that the Bucs need to draft defense, and with Gruden loving Amobi Okoye he's certainly a possible choice there (he's only 19 years old), but it would be hard to pass up a player as talented as Calvin Johnson.
  19. I hope the Chargers wear the throwbacks, but I'm sure they won't. Also, if the Bears do trade Briggs and the 31st pick for the 6th, I see them either getting Johnson or Thomas, otherwise Angelo will trade down like he usually does. The latest mock I've seen has it going Russell, Quinn, Peterson, Johnson, and Thomas. That would leave Chicago not being able to get either guy they are probably wanting most, but Gruden is apparently in love with Amobi Okoye and that is a much more pressing need for them then WR, at least in my opinion. And if the Bucs don't get him, I see the Bears being able to grab Johnson.
  20. Kobe's been amazing, but there's an article saying that Kobe is better then Jordan because he's putting up better stats and can do more. The writer (Jemele Hill) goes even as far as to say that Jordan's teams were medicore-talented as the Lakers are right now. That's just retarded.
  21. If I were the Bears, I'd try and talk them into a future 3rd round pick also, or maybe the 37th pick instead of their first round one. Synder obviously wants to do the deal, so why not try and get a little more?
  22. Being someone who enjoys most of Avril's music, I'd like to say that she was obviously forced to do this song. I hope. Please.
  23. I agree. Johnson isn't a bad option, but really, the safe pick is Thomas. I love Johnson as much as the next guy, but the Lions need to build from the ground up. There will be other quality options in the later rounds at wide-out, like there are every other year, so the Lions can get one there.
