So I've been in Turkey 3 weeks going on a month now... I'm keeping it together but starting to lose my mind. I get no TV, barely internet and the season stil doesn't start for 2 weeks... SO, my buddy helped my sanity a few days back by offering to let me use his SlingPlayer account. Apparenly he uses it to catch Entourage while at school, but the nice guy he is he watched the Rangers with me last night while forcing me to watch the Isles on commerical games... but I digress. It gets a bit annoying because if he unplugs the cord I can't use it and I don't want to be a hassle on him all the time. So I started to get the notion to ge my own account, but come to find out you need DirectTV which hsi family does, mine has Time Warner. So my question to you is, with having Time Warner at home is there any way I can buy a program and account or just an account and download a program to pick up American television and more importantly hockey games? If anyone can help it would be much appreciated! I'm starting to lose my mind here some days!

I miss the NHL so bad... Turkey gıves me NO outlets of watching any hockey... I could hope some sort of CenterIce online or somethıng to watch online would be good but still I dont have internet at my house yet... Not to mention I hate these keyboards... I cant even fınd a comma fuck... Not only do I not get to watch hockey but I came here to play hockey and I havent hıt the ice yet I mean we went to go skate and coach little kids but that was the poorest excuse for an ice surface Ive ever seen.. but its better then nothing I suppose... Actually Ruki did. I'm sorry I forgot to use it. I tried to just fit it in earlier today and did it real quick. It took me a while to keep a list together of what positions everyone needed. I didn't just give them the next best player, but rather the next best player for a position they needed.

I told you guys that if I'm not here and its due for an AP then AP them. I can't always be around thats just fact of life. I haven't been around because, if any of you remember, I said a while back in the Lounge I may be moving to Turkey. Well I am, and its coming up very soon. So it's not going to hinder being online until I get settled in. The next couple of weeks over there will be shaky but it just means I'll have limited opportunity to come on. We'll be able to work around it though. I would say though, get me lists in by Saturday or Sunday. I'm going to put up a hard deadline tomorrow or tonight, but start making them up. I don't want this to get screwed so if I have to go through lists so be it. Anyone who doesn't have a list will be APed by me. Oh and Plubby can have Redden. If you get APed and come back before the round is over, you can take a player who wasn't taken yet. Good luck though, he's looked like garbage so far.

The whole sequence in the woods got me good. Don't remember it word for word but Franco convinces Rogen (and surprisingly rightfully so) that they shouldn't use the phones. Not only that, they should turn them off, their cops they can probably 'triangulate' them to find out where they are. Then he gets Rogen going who is all excited so starts smashing his on a huge rock. Franco runs up out of nowhere and launches his phone into the woods. Rogen : What the hell man? What the hell was that?! I thought we were gonna smash them? Franco : I was trying to smash it. Rogen : Oh really? On what? What were you aiming for? Franco : That tree. (points and just shows a vast amount of trees) Rogen : What tree? Now what are we suppose to do? What if they traingulate it or whatever it is?! Franco : (looks around) Ohhh... ya know, whatever man. Forget about it, I doubt they can even use those things anyways man. Rogen : Really? Because you were pretty convincing back their with that speech and rant and now you have me a little worried. My dude is tearing it up but I can't get called up. I have like 25 points, going 22 + 3 and I stil haven't gotten called up. I went on a cold streak though only one goal in the last two games and we got shut out last game. Any suggestions on how I go about getting called up? Oh yea, my guy's rated an 80 yet no call up too. How good are your guys' in the minors, rating wise that is?

Ya, and if we hadn't already been APing the next best guy, I would institute a rule that if you're APed you get the 3rd next best player. At least that way it gives incentive to be around or like someone in your case send in a list for me to pick from ya know. But this year he got lucky... sahyder has another hour and 15 minutes to make a pick. If not his first pick will be autoed and his second pick will give him another 5 hours. Is everyone PMing the next person in line after them? It seemed like they were, this is the best option to keep this thing running at a smooth pace.

It's fine. If I'm not around, you can guys can auto pick. Even if its me, as long as it's been the 4 hours with in the time's I set plus the list is in the first post usually up to date. Ditto. I've always thought about getting into fantasy NBA, this would be a good reason to. I'm assuming especially with the NBA, you don't need more then like 8-10 teams.

My bad Gabs, that was the longest I let the list go, at least thats the only mistake we've had so far... I didn't realize you guys were all the way accross waters to be honest. Thats why if you read that post I assumed we were all within like 3 hours of eachother. If thats the case I understand, but you gotta understand we're two weeks away and I want to run this smoothly. It has nothing to do with discrimination.
