Mixed feelings on The Babadook, but over all I enjoyed it.
SpoilerThe Babadook wasn’t actually a physical monster/demon, right? More of a metaphor for the mother’s crippling depression and unresolved grief from her husband’s violent death? The boy had an infatuation with monsters, which allowed her to manifest all of that into a monster. The end scene where she “feeds it” is just a metaphor for the fact that those things mentally never go away but you instead learn to live with them without truly “letting them in” enough to derail every day life. At least that’s what I drew from it.

I had Nostalgia for the Leprechaun films as they were some of the first horror movies I watched as a kid with friends as we tried to stay up all night. Walmart had the complete Blu-ray set for u see 10 bucks so I started watching through them. I’ve finished parts 1, 2 and 3 so far. Man, it’s crazy what passes as good when you’re a kid 😅 Hats off to Warwick Davis though, he makes these films way more fun than they have any right to be. The lawnmower kill in leprechaun 2 is still one of my favorite kills in horror.

The only thing I’d critique is to get them all to the same level of cropping/zoom. Cole and Chase for instance are a lot more zoomed out than the majority of the pack. Maybe set some guides in your photoshop template at eyeline and chin line for the renders and size them accordingly.

N64 coming to Online sounded cool until they said it will cost extra and they’re charging $50 for the Bluetooth co troller. I’ll stick with my OG N64 and Everdrive. Switch online is so barebones outside of the NES/SNES libraries, I can’t imagine paying more for it.

I was bored and stumbled upon Superman & Lois yesterday which I went in to with very low expectations. I'm enjoying it quite a bit. May try and finish the rest of the first season today.

I like this idea a lot, and I would also recommend no borders. Borders could be done rather easily to get them to fit a certain pack with a quick batch process in photoshop. Same goes for sizing them down to 150x150 or less for TEW and the gif packs.
I also support some kind of universal naming convention with the year attached. For my current mod I've used names like "Samoa Joe_2k06.gif," Samoa Joe_2k09.gif," "Samoa Joe_2k09_alt.gif" and so on to make adding agers and alts easier.

Take breaks when you need it and don't feel bad about it. That's probably the biggest one. My 2004 project has been going on for what seems like forever, but that's fine. When I need a break, I walk away from it and know it will be there again when I feel like working on it.
When modding, multi-task with something you enjoy. I usually have two windows up on my two monitor setup. One I use for Cagematch and wrestling data or wiki, whatever I need for the mod, and the other I use to catch up on AEW or watch old wrestling shows. Other times I'll just have Spotify open to a playlist of whatever I'm feeling.

Billy Madison is a movie I have watched over and over and over again. Every time it is on TV I have to watch it. Loved him as Billy's loser mooch friend that lounged around the pool all day and stole 30 bag lunches!

There is a scene (one single shot) where a woman is just sitting on the floor eating a god damn pie for what feels like 30 minutes (run time I believe is actually 10 and it feels longer) - Nothing else happens. She’s sitting on the floor, fork clanging on the plate, housing a whole pie!
