WCW UNLEASHED! RESULTS 7/14/01
results sent in by WrestlingReligously21
Well WrestleBoy was unable to jot down the results for Unleashed this week, so Wrestling-Heat handed me the task of doing so. If you don't like them take it up with Wrestleboy as he will be back on the job next week. Remember I'm just the messenger and you shouldn't shoot the messenger.......
WCW Unleashed! ResultsJuly 14, 2001 live from Fargo, ND
Unleashed! opened up with the normal opening video followed with a brief highlight video focusing on the United States Title Situation - and the events that unfolded when Lance Storm attacked Rob Van Dam in the backstage area, forcing him to be unable to claim his shot at Buff Bagwell's title, the highlight video went on to show Storm challenge Bagwell, and after blasting him with the United States Title Belt, pin the champion and claim the prize.
The pyro display was then shown on stage, and the cameras focused their attention to the ring where the new WCW United States Heavyweight Champion stood in the ring. The US Title looked a little different tonight as it was strapped over Storm's waist, that was due to the fact that Storm had "decorated" the belt by covering up the US Flag and eagle with a Canadian Flag sticker, and another that said "Canadian Heavyweight Champion." Storm's Team Canada music died down, then the United States Champion was handed a microphone.
Lance Storm: "Each and everyone of you fans in the arena should stand up and applaud me, after all last week I performed one of the most charitable acts World Championship Wrestling has ever seen. I took a defiled, broken down and meaningless title off of a broken down, steroid injected, never was that served as its Champion. I took a title that was nothing more than a meaningless piece of leather and gold, and after renaming the Canadian Heavyweight Championship, once again honor has been restored to this title around my waist."
The crowd vocied the disapproval of Storm, and started a "You suck" chant.
Lance Storm: "Let's face it, the greatest athletes this sport has seen, they've all come from the Great White North. Last week I took initiative, and after seeing Rob Van Dam handed a shot at the United States title I did the honorable thing, I took him out. The fans of World Championship Wrestling shouldn't be subjected to title matches involving participants that don't deserve to be in them to begin with. Just what kind of a Champion would Van Dam make anyway, coming out to the ring, flopping around and doing that stupid thing with his thumbs. This is WRESTLING Rob, and in this ring I am the epitome of the word WRESTLER. And Rob".......
Before Storm could say another word he was cut off by the music of Rob Van Dam. RVD came out through the curtain wearing a singlet with a multi colored dragon down the front, after shaking hands with a few of the fans he stepped into the ring and was handed a microphone as well. Van Dam held the microphone up to his mouth but couldn't start talking because of the lud chants of "RVD! RVD!" Finally he started talking.
Rob Van Dam: "Was it just me, or did I just hear Lance Storm say that 'Mr. Saturday Night,' R-V-D! didn't deserve a title shot?"
Van Dam looked around the ring at the crowd who still chanted his name.
Rob Van Dam: "Well Lance, it's plain to see that all of these people here in Fargo North Dakota (cheap pop), would love to see The WCW United States Champion Lance Storm"....
Lance Storm: "That's the Canadian Heavyweight Champion Lance Storm!"
Rob Van Dam: "Hey, whatever dude, how about right here tonight you put that title on the line against everyone's favorite superstar, R-V-D."
Storm thought it over but before he could say anything he was interrupted by Shawn Stasiak who marched out of the back with Stacy Keibler and a microphone."
Shawn Stasiak: "Hold it, hold it right there! (Stasiak got into the ring, while Stacy stood outside.) I will not stand by and allow for Rob Van Dam to get another shot at the United States Title before me! (Storm, in frustration repeated "Canadian Heavyweight title.") Everyone knows Van Dam, that when you pinned me, the star of the show a couple weeks ago it was a fluke. And by god, you will not take my shot again".....
Stasiak took the microphone and smacked Van Dam right in the mouth. Van Dam hit the mat, and Stasiak quickly started putting the boots to RVD and was soon joined by the United States Champion himself. They beat on RVD until Mike Awesome ran down to the ring and evened the score, the four men brawled in the ring until another voice was heard.
"Stop it, right there"
Suddenly the former United States Champion, Buff Bagwell came out from the back and he too had a microphone, just how many mics does the place have?
Buff Bagwell: "Now before any of ya'll start arguing and fighting over who gets the next shot, allow Buff Daddy to inform ya' of a little rule. You see as the former US Champion that means Buff Daddy recieves the first shot!"
Awesome, Stasiak and Van Dam stared at each other in the ring, Storm rolled out and picked up one of the discarded microphones.
Lance Storm: "As a true Canadian athlete, and fighting Champion I do not fear a single one of you. As a matter of fact, if you all want a shot at the Canadian Heavyweight title you'll get it at Bash at the Beach in a match straight from my ingenious mind. You'll get your shot in the first ever Canadian Fury Penalty Box Match."
Storm dropped the microphone and all of the other men looked a micture of pleased and confused, Anderson and Hudson asked themselves just what in the hell was a "Canadian Fury Penalty Box Match" as Unleashed went to commercial break.
EWR Rating: 72%
When Unleashed returned to the air, we were taken to Scott Hudson and Arn Anderson at ringside, they said they had been informed of the rules of Lance Storm's "Canadian Fury Penalty Box Match." The Jumbo Tron displayed the rundown of what the match would be;
- All five men fight in the match at the same time.- Positioned on each side of the ring will be wooden "Penalty Boxes."
- The United States Title hangs from the ceiling, the first man to climb a ladder and retrieve the title will be the United States Champion.
- Pinfall and submissions may occur in the matchup, should a person be pinned or submit they will have to go inside of one of the Penalty Boxes for a duration of two minutes.
- No combatant may leave the Penalty box until the two minute time period is up.

After the information went off the screen, Big Vito made his way to the ring, seeing singles action in WCW for the first time in a long time. The proud and fiery italian stretched in the corner waiting for the arrival of his opponent. The wait wasn't long however as Hugh Morrus' music replaced his and the dude with an attitude quickly stormed the ring.
Singles Match
Big Vito versus Hugh Morrus
Morrus quickly got things going flooring Vito to the mat with a lariat, Hugh just punished Vito in this one, clubbing the Italian with Axe Handle smashes, and shouting "Is that all you got!?" and "Come on! Get up!" Vito battled out of the corner, sick of getting his ass beat and had Morrus reeling backwards, but he made the mistake of trying to send the big man into the ropes, Morrus instead sent Vito into the ropes and leveled him with a powerslam with authority! Morrus dragged Vito over to the corner and the siglet straps came down, No Laughing Matter off of the top rope and Morrus gets the 1, 2, 3.
Winner: Hugh Morrus (via pinfall)
-60%-55%-65%
Morrus stayed on his knees, looking down at Big Vito who wasn't moving. Morrus laughed hysterically, the dude is a freakin' weirdo. But Shane Helms' music took over the public address and caught his attention, then the former WCW Cruiserweight Champion, the 'Sensation of Innovation' walked out to the top of the rampway with a microphone.
Shane Helms: "Hugh Morrus, at the Great American Bash it was a simple mistake on my part, I ran into you and threw manners out the window. Next time I'll make sure I tell ya' to move your fat ass outta' my way!"
The fans laughed as Morrus stared at Helms like a rabid dog, picture nothing less than foaming at the mouth.
Shane Helms: "But you, you took things to far when you interferred in my match, and cost me the Cruiserweight title. So Hugh Morrus, Bash at the Beach we'll take care of things like we did up in NC, because at the Bash at the Beach I'm challenging you to a Raleigh Street Fight! Anything goes, and falls count anywhere in the building."
Hugh Morrus laughed hysterically some more, everything's a joke to this guy you know. He grabbed a microphone.
Hugh Morrus: "Shane Helms I accept any sort of challenge you want to hand out. You may think you're laughing now, but just remember one thing; He who laughs last, laughs best!"
With that Morrus tossed the microphone and Helms continued to stare at the man he will now face on July 22nd in Washington DC. With that the show went to commercial break.

When the camera returned to the arena a brief clip was shown of last week's Unleashed when Ramon was able to land the flight Delay and score an upset victory over Konnan then we went to the arena where Air Raid, AJ Styles and Air Paris were coming to the ring with their acquantance Ramon right behind them. After the two got in the ring they took off their matching Adidas jump suits, revealing their - you guessed it matching short tights ring attire.
The WCW World Cruiserweight Tag-Team Champions Rey Misterio junior and Billy Kidman were out next, and Konnan was with them. Hudson and Anderson announced that this was a non-title contest, that means sorry kiddies don't be expecting any title change tonight.
Non Title Match
Rey Misterio junior and Billy Kidman (WCW Cruiserweight Tag Champions) w/Konnan versus Air Paris and AJ Styles w/Ramon
AJ Styles and Rey Misterio started this one off, Misterio really has bulked up since his introduction into WCW, and has slowed down quite a bit but make no mistake about it he may still be the best high flyer in the business - as he proves taking the young Styles down with a spinning head scissors. Misterio bounced off of the ropes and nailed a basement dropkick right to the face. He hooked the leg but only got two. Tag to Billy Kidman, and the Animals double team Air Raid sending Styles into the ropes and nailing a double reverse back elbow. Kidman went up top, but Styles cut him off by knocking him off of the top rope, and crotching him. Tag to Air Paris and now Air Raid does the double teaming. They kept Kidman in the corner working him over. Paris grabbed the long hair of Kidman and pulled back, putting a knee right to the center of Kidman's back. Kidman would eventually make the hot tag to Misterio and he came in with clotheslines to everyone, except for Kidman that is. AJ Styles was seated in one corner and Air Paris was in the other, the crowd went nuts as Misterio and Kidman looked at each other and then gave both air Raid members the Bronco Buster! On the outside Ramon tossed Konnan into the stairs then he ran into the ring and grabbed Rey Misterio turning him inside out with the Flight delay! Kidman went to fend for himself but the big man lifted him up and nailed the move on Kidman as well, the referee called for the bell.
Winners: Rey Misterio junior and Billy Kidman by disqualification

Ramon and Air Raid stood over the Filthy Animals laughing as Unleashed went to yet another commercial break, looking as dominate as they've been yet.
The New Millenium Rockers Hype Video was played, they're making their debut at the Bash at the Beach!
The show returned and we were taken to Scott Hudson and Arn Anderson at ringside, they announced that over the break another two matches have been added to the Bash at the Beach that being;
* Six Man Tag-Team Matchthe Filthy Animals (Rey Misterio junior, Billy Kidman and Konnan) versus Air Raid (AJ Styles & Air Paris) and Ramon.
*Tag-Team Match
The New Millenium Rockers versus The Jung Dragonz with Leia Meow
Hudson and Anderson were cut off as the cameras picked up in Shane McMahon's office. The WCW Owner stood at his desk signing a couple of papers, but standing in front of the desk were the former WCW World Tag Team Champions, the impressive duo of Rob Conway and Nick Dinsmore.
Shane McMahon: "Well, there you go boys, at the Bash at the Beach you will get your rematch for the WCW Tag Team Titles."
Rob Conway extended his hand, as did Dinsmore and Shane McMahon shook them both.
Rob Conway: "Mr. McMahon, thank you once again."
Shane McMahon: "Make me proud boys."
The Tag-Team walked out of the office, and the scene switched back to the arena.
EWR Rating: 55%
Scott Hudson and Arn Anderson hyped how that rematch would be great. Then Juventud Guerrera's music played, and he walked out with the man that impressed everyone last week with his match against Jeff Jarrett, Jason Jett and a guy I didn't recognize. Anderson told us it was Michael Modest, I recognize the name as he used to be in WCW, just didn't recognize the face. Team Canada's music played next and the former Cruiserweight Tag Team Champions Kid Romeo and 'Prime Time' Elix Skipper walked out, they were back together but just for tonight. Their partner in this six man tag match was the WCW Cruiserweight Champion, and Noble made his way out next brushing past the both of them.
Cruiserweight Division Six Man Tag-Team Match
Juventud Guerrera, Jason Jett and Michael Modest versus Jamie Noble, Elix Skipper and Kid Romeo
Knoble started the match off with Juventud Guerrera, and used his mat based approach to keep the high flyer grounded. He worked Guerrera over with a hammerlock on the mat then extended his arm to recieve a tag from Elix Skipper. Prime Time came in and worked his stuff on the Mexican star, but Juventud countered a german suplex attempt with a roll up for two. Tag to Jason Jett, and the impressive newcomer came in on fire. He smashed an elbow to the face of Elix Skipper and leveled Kid Romeo with one as well when he entered the ring. Knoble just stayed on the outside insulting his partners. Jett hammered Prime Time with a beautiful dropkick that knocked him into the corner allowing Romeo to come in. Romeo ran in to recieve a drop toe hold from Jett. Jason fired him into the corner and did a double handspring into an elbow. Bulldog from Jett and he makes the tag to Michael Modest. Modest acted Psychotic. he hulked up after recieving fist after fist from Romeo but Romeo would get the offensive advantage with a reverse neckbreaker. They battled on into the commercial break, when the show came back on Hudson and Anderson informed us that both men had made various tags throughout the break but once again it was Modest and Romeo in the ring. After slamming Modest down Kid Romeo tugged at his shorts and started scratching his ass for some reason, he stuck his hands in his shorts and pulled out the culprit, a ticket into the Cruiserweight Invite-Only battle Royal at the Bash at the Beach. Hudson, the genius that he is explained that the ticket must have fallen into Romeo's shorts while they were in his locker. This had Romeo all distracted, and smiling as he read his ticket to a shot at the Cruiserweight Belt, this allowed Modest to level him with a kick to the gut, then he picked him up onto his shoulders and dropped him right on his head! Simply Modest by Michael Modest and the newcomer hooked the leg, 1, 2, 3!
Winners: Juventud Guerrera, Jason Jett and Michael Modest!
-70%-54%-87%
Michael Modest debuted his new gimmick (crazy) it got a positive respose
Modest, Jett and Juventud had their hands raised and left the ring. An angered Jamie Knoble got into the ring and looked at the ticket lying on the mat, he picked it up and read it, then he began leveling Kid Romeo with hard shots to the face. Knoble continued to put the boots to Romeo before the show went to break.
Back on the air we were taken to the locker room where Michael Modest was shown smiling, Jason Jett patted him on the back.
Jason Jett: "Great job out there tonight man, I told you we could do it."
Michael Modest: "ah ha ha ha!"
Modest breathed heavily and panted. He whiped the sweat off of his face and opened up the locker door, only to find a red ticket hanging from the hook, Modest after a great redebut victory was now set for a Cruiserweight Title shot at the Bash at the Beach.

When we came back to the arena we found the police sirens blaring, and 'Big Poppa Pump' Scott Steiner heading to the ring with his "Numba one freak" Midajah at his side. Steiner held the ring ropes allowing Midajah to get in, then Big Poppa Pump was handed a microphone.
Scott Steiner: "Let me hear my freaks in Fargo make some noise."
The Four Thousand plus fans in attendance did just that, voicing their support of the 'Genetic Freak.'
Scott Steiner: "Jeff Jarrett, you're one dumb sum'bitch to challenge the Genetic Freak to a match where anything goes, and a weapon of my choice is legal, at Bash at the Beach you bring you little six string, cause the man with the largest arms in the world is gonna make sure you need to rely on weapons. Jeff Jarrett, you're just jealous of the Big Bad Booty Daddy because, because umlike me you never bring the freaks to ecstacy, and hell you never will. I'm just more man than you can handle and at the Bash at the Beach you will know why they call me Freakzilla, the Ultimate Thrilla!"
EWR Rating: 75%
Steiner tossed the microphone to the outside, and took of his medeival chain mail from his head handing it to Midajah, who rolled out of the ring. Not too long after Disco Inferno came out to the ring, no dancing Disco looked like a lamb being lead to slaughter.
Singles Contest
Scott Steiner w/Midajah versis Disco Inferno
Steiner seemed to want to send a message to the 'Chosen One' in this match, that being that 'Big Poppa Pump' was back in WCW and as good as ever. Disco really didn't get any hits in with this match, unless Steiner was letting him then Steiner followed that up with a clothesline that nearly took off disco's head. Big Poppa Pump connected with two subsequent Belly to Belly Suplexes and then locked on the Steiner Recliner for the victory. A dominant return match for Big Poppa Pump.
Winner: Scott Steiner (via submission)
-68%-73%-59%
After the match Scott Steiner had his hand raised, the 'Genetic Freak' and Midajah celebrated the rather easy victory, then Jeff Jarrett's music started p and Steiner directed for Midajah to leave the ring, sensing a battle was about to ensue. But after a few moments Jarrett never came out and the music ended, or atleast it seemed as Jarrett had slid in the ring behind Steiner, Scott turned and got blasted by the guitar! 'Big Poppa Pump' was out of it, and Jarrett talked trash in his face as the credits came on the screen then faded to black, but not before Anderson and Hudson informed everyone that live next week there would be a contract signing between Val Venis and Booker T.

WCW UNLEASHED! RESULTS 7/7/01
sent in by Wrestleboy8601
The build-up to the Bash at the Beach has already began with the World Heavyweight Title Match between WCW Champion Val Venis and Booker T, and Shane McMahon's Cruiserweight Title Invite-Only Battle Royal being signed, I wouldn't be surprised if more are added to the card tonight either. The show came onto the air and the opening video played accompanied by the usual pyro display at the ramp way. After overlooking the viewing audience, finally we went to Scott Hudson and Arn Anderson at ringside.SCOTT HUDSON: "Hello everyone Scott Hudson here alongside, as always, the Enforcer Arn Anderson and welcome to the most exciting wresting action of the weekend, welcome to WCW Unleashed!"
ARN ANDERSON: "Welcome fans and get ready for an explosive night as we will see the United States Title on the line when the champion Buff Bagwell puts up the gold against 'Mr. Saturday Night,’ Rob Van Dam."
SCOTT HUDSON: "The United States Title is such an integral part of the company, and its awesome getting to see it defended here on Unleashed Arn. But tonight the number one contender to the World Heavyweight Championship will be in action as well when Booker T goes one on one with half of the new Tag Team Champions in Sean O’Haire."
SINGLES CONTEST
'Sugar' Shane Helms versus Hugh Morrus
Before Hudson or Anderson could say another word, Hugh Morrus’ music began playing and the big man methodically marched his way to the ring, he looked and pointed at the fans spouting off cold remarks, he's a real nice guy you know. Then it was time for Helms’ entrance, and the former Cruiserweight Champion skipped out on the Sugar Babies and the dance number, as he was all business. 'Sugar' Shane rushed down the ramp and slid into the ring, going at Morrus right off the bat with hard rights and lefts, it got the big man reeling but Helms made the mistake of trying to play the power game by whipping Morrus into the ropes, Hugh reversed and sent Shane flying, before lifting him up into Samoan Drop position then dropping to his ass. Helms' body flew off of Morrus' back and Shane shouted in pain, Hugh just placed one foot on Shane's chest. Helms was able to get the shoulder up but it wasn't like Morrus wasn’t expecting it. Morrus used his power for the next few moments tossing Helms around, but the "Sensation of Innovation" would come to counter Morrus military press slam and catch him with the Sugar Smack and shining wizard. Helms covered but Morrus kicked out at two.
THE FINISH: Hugh Morrus snapped after once again getting planted with a 'Sugar Smack' from Shane Helms, and rolled out of the ring before grabbing a steel chair. He held the chair up after gaining a footing back in the ring, and Shane Helms let out a right hand that sent the chair right into Hugh Morrus' face! All that did however was anger the big man who took both hands and grabbed Shane by the neck before hitting a double arm sit out choke slam onto the chair! The referee called for the bell.
WINNER(S): @ 8:21 as a result of a Double Disqualification, a no contest ruling.
AFTERMATH: Morrus wasn't done however and shoved the referee out of his way. He set the chair up, then tucked Shane's head in between his legs and crashed Helm's body onto (and collapsing) the chair! Morrus laughed hysterically and then left the ring as his opponent lied broken.
NOTES: Hugh Morrus walks away looking like a bad ass, Shane has next week to get his revenge, not too bad of a match.
RATING: -67%-65%-70%
Before Unleashed! Went to commercial break we the viewers were taken to the back where Pamela Paulshock was standing by with Jeff Jarrett and his 'business associate' Debra. The 'Chosen One’ was in his ring attire, and not without his stylish shades.
PAMELA PAULSHOCK: "Hello everyone Pam here and I'm standing by with Jeff Jarrett, now Jeff after last week the question on everyone's mind is.... are you afraid of Scott Steiner?"
Jarrett did a double take as if his ears had deceived him and Debra rolled her eyes at the blonde interviewer.
JEFF JARRETT: "Pamela, you know somethin'? You ARE as dumb as everyone says you are."
The interviewer looked hurt by Jarrett's comments.
JEFF JARRETT: "I'll tell ya' what, you get your ass on outta' here cause the chosen one is gonna set everyone straight."
Debra pushed Pamela out of the interview position and Jeff Jarrett took off his shades, then the Chosen One looked into the camera.
JEFF JARRETT: "Scott Steiner, you over inflated freak... you’re about the last man that I fear around this place. I'll tell ya' what Scott, how about you and me one on one at the Bash at the Beach, in a Weapon of Choice Match! Let me explain it so you're peanut sized brain can comprehend that. What that means is the two of us can each bring one weapon into the Bash and use it legally, what do you say Big Poppa? I'll tell ya' what, you get back to me on that!"
Jarrett slid his glasses back on and tossed the mic, then he and Debra walked off as Unleashed went to a commercial break.

When the show came back on the air a few clips on how this week’s United States Championship Match came about with Rob Van Dam pinning Shawn Stasiak in Tag Team action, and Buff Bagwell challenging him to a match. The show went into the arena where “BUFF DADDAAAAAY!" was heard, and the WCW United States Champion came flexing and muscle posing out to the top of the ramp. Complete with shades and top hat Bagwell shook hands with a few fans, and got into the ring before going to a corner and posing once more.
From there Rob Van Dam's music hit, and the cameras went to the back to show Van Dam leaving his locker room and heading toward the ring. RVD walked with confidence, but out of nowhere he was clubbed from behind! Van Dam hit the concrete floor, and the camera revealed that Lance Storm was the man attacking him! Storm picked RVD up and whipped him into once of the shipping crates in the backstage area! RVD tried to fight back but Storm picked up a television monitor and layed him out!
The cameras returned to the arena where Buff Bagwell was looking at the Jumbo Tron seeing the whole attack take place. Seconds later Lance Storm walked out onto the stage with a microphone in hand.
LANCE STORM: "If I could be serious for a moment"
The fans booed the Canadian mercilessly
LANCE STORM: "Buff, it appears that your challenger for the evening has taken his leave but if you are half the Champion that you claim you are you will accept my challenge for that title, right now!"
Bagwell didn't have to think it over; he laid the US Title out before him and told Storm to "come take it." Storm had that on his mind and we had ourselves a new match for the United States title.

WCW UNITED STATES TITLE MATCH
Lance Storm versus Buff Bagwell©
In the early going of the match, Buff lead the match with his power advantage on Storm, knocking the challenger to the mat with a swinging neck breaker. He got two on that, after sending Storm into the ropes Bagwell went for a back body drop that was scouted, and Storm leap frogged of his opponent, then clubbed him to the mat with a clothesline. Storm worked over Bagwell's legs, and after locking on his Maple Leaf Bagwell barely managed to get to the ropes. He got the advantage back after countering Storm’s attempt at a dropkick, leveling him with a side slam and subsequent backbreaker. After a two count Bagwell lifted Storm up, Storm kicked him in the midsection and they began brawling once again. The two battled into the corner. The referee tried to free the two from the turnbuckle, but Storm backed up and clotheslined the Champion over the ropes, knocking down the referee in the process. They fought on the outside, and after knocking Bagwell into the stairs, Storm rolled him into the ring.
THE FINISH: Storm brought the United States Championship into the ring and went to level Bagwell with it, but Buff moved out of the way and Storm smashed into the turnbuckle dropping the belt. Bagwell scooped Storm up and slammed him down, then called for the Blockbuster. He climbed up to the second turnbuckle, but Storm grabbed the belt again and tossed it to Bagwell, Buff caught it and Storm jumped up and landed a super kick to the belt - to the face of the champion. Bagwell fell to the mat, and Storm revived the referee making the cover and scoring the win.
WINNER(S): @ 7:54 Lance Storm, New United States Champion
NOTES: Wow, I didn't see a title change coming tonight, especially when Storm wasn't supposed to be getting the shot. Let's see where this develops.
RATING: -75%-76%-74%
The United States Championship gained in image
Storm was handed the United States championship and he held it in the air smiling after having just cheated his way into his third United States Championship reign. Bagwell can't believe what just went down as the camera showed him holding his jaw while the scene went to the backstage area.
When the camera went to the back Konnan, Rey Misterio junior, Billy Kidman and Juventud Guerrera, the Filthy Animals were shown. Kidman and Misterio were seated on the locker room bench with the Cruiserweight Tag Team Titles, Konnan and Juventud where standing up, and speaking of Juvi he was holding a red ticket in his hand, the same kind of red ticket that Jason Jett had.
KONNAN: "So Juvi, you gonna represent tha' animal's in the Invite Only Battle Royal, you better win that thing essa."
JUVENTUD GUERRERA: "Oh, I will it, make no fuss about that."
REY MISTERIO: "How about you dawg, you've gothca' big return 'bout next."
BILLY KIDMAN: "Yeah against Air Raid's juggernaut, Ramon."
KONNAN: "Yo, holmies I've got it covered, there ain’t any way the K-Dawg is goin' down tonight. You comin' with me?"
Misterio and Kidman followed Konnan out the door while Juvi looked at his ticket, and Unleashed went to commercial break.
EWR Rating: 70%
When the show came back on the air Ramon (who though he looks quite different used to be known as Reno in WCW) and Air Raid (AJ Styles and Air Paris) were in the ring, Styles and Paris were warming their big man up for his one on one contest. Then it was Konnan's turn and he came out with the Cruiserweight Tag Champions, Misterio and Kidman. Konnan got in the ring, but before he could do his usual shtick on the microphone, Ramon clubbed him from behind knocking the mic out of his hand.
SINGLES CONTEST
Konnan w/ Rey Misterio and Billy Kidman versus Ramon w/ Air Paris & AJ Styles
Konnan and Ramon went at it with brawling tactics early on, Konnan gained the advantage with the rolling thunder clothesline. K-Dawg kicked and stomped at the enforcer of the Air Raid threesome. Ramon regained the advantage countering Konnan hip-toss and tossing the Mexican star with one of his own. Over the next few moments Ramon and Konnan exchanged blows, The Cruiserweight Tag Champs and Air Raid got into the mix battling each other.
THE FINISH: Air Raid and the Cruiserweight Tag Team Champions battled on the outside, and got Konnan distracted, the big man Ramon lifted Konnan up and nailed a spinning sidewalk Slam that Hudson aptly dubbed the Flight Delay, hooking the leg and scoring the pinfall.
WINNER(S): @ 5:21, Ramon
NOTES: wasn't expecting Ramon to go over Konnan, could we be seeing Air Raid and the Filthy animals for the Cruiserweight Tag team Titles?
RATING: -68%-65%-71%
Ramon gained 1 point of overness
Ramon rolled out of the ring and was soon joined by AJ Styles and Air Paris they celebrated on the ramp way as The Filthy Animals regrouped in the ring as the show went to another commercial.
When the show returned to the air, a new star was making his entrance to the ring. Jason Jett had worked for the company previously and has been working for months in WCW's developmental fed, he was here and on the active roster waiting for his opponent.
Butterflies must have been stirring in the kid's stomach however when he heard Jeff Jarrett's music take the public address. soon after the Chosen One walked out with Debra by his side, Jarrett had to be keeping an eye over his shoulder for Scott Steiner after challenging him earlier on in the evening.
SINGLES CONTEST
Jason Jett versus Jeff Jarrett w/ Debra
Jarrett seemed to be taking Jett lightly early on, but the newcomer soon showed Jarrett that he wasn't one to be taken lightly knocking the chosen one down with a standing dropkick, then subsequent Japanese arm drags. the crowd really started getting behind Jett as he proved himself against one of the company's top stars. after hitting a combo Cobra clutch and Russian leg sweep roll through Jett had Jarrett's shoulders pinned to the mat but Jarrett kicked out at the last possible second. After hitting a low blow Jarrett targeted the legs of Jason Jett, and locked on the figure four leg lock. Jett refused to tap out and through all of the agony made it to the ropes. He got back to his feet, and held his own with Jarrett some more.
THE FINISH: Jett once a locked up Jarrett's arm and head, and went for the Russian leg sweep roll through thingy he did, but Jarrett countered with some elbows to the face and went for the Stroke - Jett countered again and knocked Jeff down with a standing dropkick! He lifted Jarrett to his feet, but the veteran Jarrett gouged Jett's eye with the ref not being in position to see and nailed the newcomer with the Stroke for the pinfall!
WINNER(S): @ 8:11, Jeff Jarrett
NOTES: Great, great showing by Jett, what a way to redebut. Thumbs up to Jarrett for handling the match professionally.

Jarrett's arm was raised and Debra joined him in the ring, then all of a sudden his music quit playing and was replaced with the all too familiar sound of a police siren. It was Big Poppa Pump, and Steiner with Midajah at his side walked to the ring. Jarrett motioned for Debra to get out of the ring and waited for Steiner. Scott got in the ring and the two started to go at it, I punch you, you punch me until Steiner hooked Jarrett up and planted him with a belly to belly suplex! Steiner motioned to Midajah and she tossed him a lead pipe! Jeff got to his feet and Steiner swung the pipe - Jarrett dropped to his ass and rolled out of the ring just in time. He grabbed Debra and flead the ring as quick as he could, meanwhile Steiner grabbed a microphone.
SCOTT STEINER: "Hey Jeff Jarrett! I've got my weapon, you bring yours, and I’ll see your ass at Bash at the Beach!"
Steiner dropped the microphone, and one last look at Jeff Jarrett at the top of the ramp before the show went to commercial. Jeff Jarrett may regret the day he ever challenged Steiner to a match.
Before the actual show came back on, the New Millennium Rockers hype video aired, as Nineteen-eighties style heavy metal music played in the background, and footage of Shawn Michaels and Marty Janetty in their "Midnight Rockers" days was played.
"Decades ago, two high octane individuals ushered in a new style of professional wrestling, and with it the face of professional wrestling would never be the same."
The footage stopped, and two young Cruiserweight looking guys decked out in new wave attire, but the same style tasseled boots and arm bands as Janetty and Michaels wore stood in front of a caged wall.
"Two decades later, the face of professional wrestling will change once again..... THE NEW MILLENIUM ROCKERS, arriving in World Championship Wrestling at Bash at the Beach!"

Back to the show we picked things up in the locker room where the young Jason Jett was shown shaking his head and looking disappointed after losing his hard fought match with Jeff Jarrett just moments ago. Jett wiped the sweat off of his face with the towel around his neck and then opened his locker up to find - you guessed it, a red ticket hanging inside. Jett's face had a smile on it as he read off that he was now invited into the Cruiserweight title Match at the Bash at the Beach.
Jett tucked the ticket away, and the cameras veered to the other side of the locker room where Chavo Guerrero was shown (on crutches.) Chavo looked inside of his locker to find nothing at all, he shook he head and slammed the locker shut as the scene came to a close.

When the show went back to the arena, the lovely Stacy Keibler looking hot as always was next to Shawn 'the Star' Stasiak who had a microphone in his hand. Stasiak and Stacy shared a kiss before his music died down and he gave the microphone to Stacy.
STACY KEIBLER: "How many of you handsome men out there want to see me dance?"
I DO! As did about four thousand other guys in the audience who voiced their support of the idea.
STACY KEIBLER: "Well... It's not going to happen! (damn it!) And that's because it's time you all listen to the only guy that matters, Shawn 'The Star' Stasiak!"
Stacy smiled and the fans booed as she gave the microphone to Stasiak.
SHAWN STASIAK: "Shut up! Listen! And learn! (A loud FUCK YOU! was heard, but I take it security silenced the man quickly as he wasn't heard the rest of the night) The man, the star of the show is out here to send out his congratulations to the brand new WCW United States Champion. Now I know what you're thinking, why would I, the Mecca of Manliness of all People want to congratulate Lance Storm. Well it's simple I congratulate him for finally getting the title off of the sorry disgrace of a former US Champion that we had in Buff Bagwell!"
The crowd hates Stasiak and they tell him that
SHAWN STASIAK: "And not only that, he took out that sorry Busch-leaguer Rob Van Dam before he got the shot at the United States title, the shot he didn't deserve to begin with. (R-V-D! chants started to liven up.) Oh, it's true and I'm sick and tired of the way he's been getting everything handed to him on a silver platter. Main Events of Pay Per Views, shots at titles that IIIII earned, Van Dam is pathetic and if it was me that took him out, he would never be able to walk again let alone do that stupid thing he does with his thumbs! Do it with me guys (Stasiak mocked R-V-D's thumb gestures) Sta-Si-Ak! Sta-Si-Ak!"
THAAAAAATS AWESSSSSSSSOME!" No more playing around, Mike Awesome had heard enough, and marched out to the ring. Stasiak grabbed Stacy by the arm and when Awesome got into the ring, he pushed Stacy into him and then slid out of the ring! Awesome wouldn't touch Stacy, instead he mouthed off to Stasiak who high tailed it to the back not wanting anything to do with a fight with Awesome.

SCOTT HUDSON: "Folks don't go away it's one half of the tag team champions against the number one contender to the World Heavyweight Title."
ARN ANDERSON: "Booker T and Sean O'Haire is next!"
When the show returned from commercial, Team Canada's music was playing, and the WCW World Heavyweight Champion Val Venis had made his way out, Venis took a seat at the commentary position, I guess we had a guest commentator for the evening. Hudson and Anderson welcomed him to the team.
The Tag Team Champions were out next, O'Haire and Palumbo came out together even though this was a singles contest. They made sure not to mingle with any of the fans at ringside, then O'Haire handed his partner his Tag Title and waited for Booker T's arrival. Venis stated that he thought O'Haire would get the job done tonight against the number one contender.
Booker was out next, and he received a loud pop from the fans, the four times WCW Champion posed at the top of the ramp to a pyro display then walked to the ring. He pointed at Val Venis who stood up and acted as if he was going to go after him, then Booker T slid into the ring and O'Haire quickly started things off laying the boots to his opponent.
SINGLES CONTEST
Booker T versus Sean O'Haire w/ Chuck Palumbo
O'Haire and Booker T battled back and fourth in the early going, Chuck Palumbo kept trying to get involved allowing O'Haire to gain the offensive advantage at various times in the match. Booker T had the match seemingly won but O'Haire took the referee out, tossing him over the top rope.
THE FINISH: Palumbo grabbed a Tag Title and came into the ring, he hit Booker T from behind and the Tag Champions began double teaming him. Venis ran into the ring, and while O'Haire and Palumbo held onto Booker's arms Venis punched his challenger in the face. Soon Rob Conway and Nick Dinsmore ran into the ring and evened the score. They took out Venis and Palumbo, and in the entire melee Booker T scored with the Book End, and a new referee counted the three awarding him the match.
WINNER(S): @ 7:21 Booker T
NOTES: The fans were seemingly most into this match up during the night, and both O'Haire and Booker looked good in the ring.

The Hottest Rumors on the Net!
NEW MILLENIUM ROCKERS REVEALEDFor those of you wondering, Wrestling-Heat.com informs you the two men in the "New Millenium Rockers" hype videos that have been airing on WCW programming recently are Level One Wrestling Developmental Wrestlers Brian "Spanky" Kendrick and Paul London. Both men are graduates of the Shawn Michaels Wrestling Academy and where some of the first to recieve developmental deals when Shane McMahon took control of the company. Kendrick wrestled in this year's ECWA Super Eight Tournament and recieved rave reviews across the country before signing on to WCW. It is believed they will be using their real names (Kendrick and London) and will be a face Tag Team in the Cruiserweight Tag Division. Talk is that they will make their WCW in ring debut at the Bash at the Beash Pay Per View.
CRUISERWEIGHTS GETTING A CALL UP?
Shane McMahon's Cruiserweight Invite Only Battle Royal at the Bash at the Beach has been causing quite the stir around the internet, the thought right now is that over the next couple of weeks we may be seeing some of the best developmental wrestlers in Level One (A roster that mainly consists of Cruiserweights) get the call up and participate in the Battle Royal. Michael Modest has been voicing his opinion for weeks that he should be a part of the active roster, perhaps we will be seeing him on Television soon.
SHANE MCMAHON AND MTV HOLDING TALKS
After being turned down by TNN about a plan of having another weekly show added to the lineup for World Championship Wrestling, Shane McMahon has been having talks with executives of MTV, the company that holds the WWF's HeAt on Sundays. More to you as we get it.

World Championship Wrestling's
End of the month company round up.
The end of the month's financial configuring spelled good news for World Championship Wrestling as the company gained nearly $4,000 in profit! Not only that but a survey by the company suggested that it was now trading at a global level with 16% fan interest, still nowhere near the WWF's 74% image WCW is surely on the rebound and rising back nicely.
But with the good comes the bad. Shane McMahon had been proposing the idea of getting TNN to air a second weekly WCW Television program preferably on Sunday Night's to run again HeAt, but TNN rejected the idea stating "Thanks for the promo tapes - we're not currently looking for new programming, but feel free to try again in a few months time."
Try again Shane McMahon would not, instead he would send out a proposal to MTV, the network that hosted the WWF's HeAt program he would hear back from them by the end of the month.

The match was made last week after Rob Van Dam pinned Shawn Stasiak in Tag-Team action, WCW US Champion Buff Bagwell announced that he would put the title on the line against 'Mr. Saturday Night' on Unleashed. Can Bagwell hang onto the title, or will the innovative Van Dam walk away with his first taste of WCW Gold?

Shane Helms wants revenge, and this week he has his chance as these two men meet one on one!
After being confronted by 'Big Poppa Pump' Scott Steiner last week, Jeff Jarrett will be in action, for a man that claims he doesn't fear the Big Bad Booty Daddy Jarrett doesn't seem to want to be anywhere near him. In the night's Main Event Booker T goes one on one with one half of the new WCW Tag-Team Champions in Sean O'Haire weeks before his World Title Showdown with Val Venis at Bash at the Beach. WCW UNLEASHED! RESULTS 6/30/01
results sent in by Wrestleboy8601
Last week's Great American Bash was a phenomenal showing to say the least, and seeing Scotty Steiner make his return from a back injury to kick the hell out of Val Venis in the Main Event was well worth the twenty five bucks I dished out for it. When Unleashed came on air clips from last Sunday's Pay Per View Main Event were shown, finally showing the clip of Scott Steiner coming out to aid Booker T but before it finished a voice was heard on the screen,"Cut the damn clips! Cut the clips now!"
The clips ceased and the cameras went to the arena where Jeff Jarrett and Debra where in the ring. Jarrett had a microphone and the crowd was booing his presence.
JEFF JARRETT: "It's time to turn the attention to where it's s'posed to be, on the Chosen One and the man who last night single handedly put an end to Diamond Dallas Page's career! That's right, DDP is done and finished! I told his old increpit ass that I would end his career, and now after the Great American Bash whether you like it or not, it's a reality."
The crowd booed Jarrett's claims, but after thier brutal encounter last Sunday and the fall that DDP took, Jarrett's claims could very well have been true. WCW may have seen the last of Diamond Dallas Page.
JEFF JARRETT: "But all you slapnuts just witnessed it, everytime the Chosen One tops himself, it's always overshadowed by somethin' else. Scott Steiner, I don't give a damn that your back in the dubbya see dubbya for one reason or another, because the fact of the matter remains... the Chosen One is the next WCW Heavyweight Champion, whether that fits into your plans or not!"
Jarrett smiled at Debra, and the fans in the arena began chanting "Steiner! Steiner! Steiner!"
JEFF JARRETT: "Ya'll can chant that man's name all ya' want, it doesn't change a damn thing. In fact... in fact if he came out here right now I'd give his ass a guitar shot that would send him into next week!"
Oh really? It looked like Scott Steiner wanted to test that theory because "Hollar if you hear me!" was heard, and the Big Bad Booty Daddy came out to his cop siren entrance with Midajah at his side. Jarrett looked like he had just about crapped his pants as Big Poppa Pump walked to the ring with the medeival chain mail on his head.
Jeff had his silver six string in hand ready to attack, but as soon as Steiner stepped into the ring... Jarrett slid to the outside and grabbed Debra by the arm. They hurried out up the ramp while Steiner stood in the ring with his arms widespread saying "come get some." Jarrett claimed that he wasn't afraid of Steiner as Unleashed! went to its first commercial break of the night.

The show came back onto the air and finally the Unleashed! opening video played then a pyro display was held at the rampway. The camera panned around the arena catching all of the WCW fans, and a guy with a bald head and goatee holding a sign that said "I want Goldberg." Too bad Goldberg is still collecting a nice fat check from AOL/ Time Warner for doing nothing but sitting at home. Finally we went to Scott Hudson and Arn Anderson ringside.
SCOTT HUDSON: "A not so normal start of the show, but a start never the less, hello everyone Scott Hudson here alongside Arn Anderson and welcome to the most exciting two hours of the weekend, welcome to another edition of World Championship Wrestling's Unleashed!"
ARN ANDERSON: "The Great American Bash was an event like no other, and if you were tuning in just a few moments ago you discovered what could have been the biggest news coming out of the show, Scott Steiner is back in World Championship Wrestling!"
SCOTT HUDSON: "That he is! It's great to have Scott Steiner back in the WCW, if you ask me things weren't the same without Big Poppa Pump. Fans, we've already kicked the show off explosively, get ready for an explosive night, in tonight's Main Event the former WCW Tag Team Champions of the World, Palumbo and O'Haire have claimed their rematch for the World Tag Team Titles and they will face the reigning Champions conway and Dinsmore."
ARN ANDERSON: "That's right, but right now lets head to the ring as we kick things off with Rob Van Dam and Mike Awesome taking on Hugh Morrus and Shawn Stasiak."
TAG-TEAM MATCH
Rob Van Dam and Mike Awesome versus Hugh Morrus and Shawn Stasiak with Stacy Keibler
Rob Van Dam and Mike Awesome came to the ring together using Awesome's music and entrace video, they had a pretty good pop on their arrival and shook hands with some of the fans with their entrance. Hugh Morrus was out next and stormed to the ring with a P.O'd look on his face, this was the man that cost Shane Helms the WCW Cruiserweight title at the Great American Bash after Helms had simply bumped into him in the hallway. Stasiak came out with Stacy, and they seemed to not be on the same page, it could have been the kiss from Bagwell last Sunday that Stacy didn't seem to dislike so much, but who am I to say? Rob Van Dam and Shawn Stasiak started the match off, with Van Dam gaining the offensive advantage with a hammerlock after a go behind. After some exchanges on the mat Van Dam was leveled with a runnning forearm from Stasiak, cover for a two count. Mike Awesome recieved the tag from Van Dam and came in fast unloading a flurry of punches, then he whipped Stasiak into the ropes, he went for a big boot but Stacy held onto his leg, stopping him and allowing the 'Mecca' to tag in Hugh Morrus. The man equiped with a grittier, meaner attitude went right to work and smashed Awesome with a body avalanche in the corner before nailing a sit down powerbomb on the big man. Rob Van Dam made the save at two, and Morrus tagged in Stasiak. They double teamed Awesome and whipped him into the ropes before going for a double team move but Awesome clotheslined both men to the mat. After crawling to his corner he made the tag to Van Dam.
THE FINISH: 'Mr. Saturday Night' ran into the ring and took Stasiak off of his feet with a spin kick to the face. Hugh Morrus had rolled to the outside and went to grab a chair, but out from the audience came the man that he made the former Cruiserweight Champion, Shane Helms. Helms leaped off of the guardrail and dropkicked the steel chair right in Morrus' face! The crowd was alive as Helms shouted at Morrus and then went back through the fans, in the ring Rob Van Dam leaped off of the top and connected with the Five Star Frog Splash on Shawn Stasiak for the win!
WINNER(S): @ 7:21, Rob Van Dam and Mike Awesome
NOTES: It looks like WCW is going ahead with a Morrus/Helms feud, could this be Helms' first test with the Heavyweights on his way up the card?
RATING: -75%-71%-79%
When Rob Van Dam and Mike Awesome got their hands raised to signify the victory they were suddenly cut short by the sound of "BUFF.... DADDAY!" over the speakers, and shortly thereafter the WCW United States Heavyweight Champion Marcus 'Buff' Bagwell came out onto the top of the ramp with a microphone, he was applauding before he finally spoke.
BUFF BAGWELL: "Well, me oh my! Congratualations R-V-D, because like me you just pinned Shawn Stasiak's ass to the mat for the 1, 2, 3! Ha, ha!"
Stasiak didn't find that very funny, and punched the mat while Stacy calmed him down.
BUFF BAGWELL: "So the way I see it Van Dam, you just beat the number one contenda' so how about next week you and me fo' this title!?"
Bagwell took the United States Title belt off of his shoulder and held it up, Van dam smiled and was handed a microphone.
ROB VAN DAM: "You want to defend that title against "R-V-D" (complete with his pointy thumbs thingy) well hey you've got it!"
Awesome patted Van Dam on the back and Buff Bagwell was shown smiling at the top of the ramp before the scene switched. Van Dam and Bagwell for the WCW United States Title Next Week!

From the arena the cameras headed to Shane McMahon's office, where the WCW Owner sat in his desk with a smile on his face, and he held up a red slip of paper in his hand.
SHANE MCMAHON: "Hello fans of World Championship Wrestling, and WCW Superstars alike. Now you all are probably wondering why I am talking to you, and more specifically what is this that I hold in my hand."
The camera zoomed in on the slip of paper that McMahon had ahold of, then it focused on Shane's face.
SHANE MCMAHON: "Well allow me to fill you in, you see for WCW the Cruiserweight Division is an integral part of the company, so how about we showcase the division at say the biggest event of the Summer? Well, that's what we're going to do because at Bash at the Beach Jamie Knoble will defend his Cruiserweight Title in a match I am calling the Invite Only Cruiserweight Battle Royal."
Hmm.. it sounded interesting but how many people, and who would be in it?
SHANE MCMAHON: "And this right here, the red slip of paper I have in my hand is an invitation into that match. Over the next couple of weeks many of the finest Cruiserweights that WCW has to offer will open their lockers to find one of these hanging in it, only those who are lucky enough to get one are in the match. With that enjoy the rest of the show."
So there we have it, at Bash at the Beach Jamie Knoble will put the Cruiserweight Title on the line in a Battle Royal full of guys hand picked by Shane McMahon, I like the sounds of it. The cameras faded to black and Unleashed went to commercial.

NON-TITLE MATCH
Jamie Knoble (WCW Cruiserweight Champion) versus Crowbar
Unleashed came back from commercial break with the crazy Crowbar already in the ring, not too long after the brand new WCW Cruiserweight Champion of the World Jamie Knoble marched out to the ring with an angry look on his face, perhaps it had to do with the fact that at the Bash at the Beach he will have to defend his title in the Invite Only Cruiserweight Battle Royal. Knoble got into the ring and unstrapped his title, dropping it to the mat and immeadiatly he started to go to work on Crowbar with hard right hands. The Cruiserweight Champion applied an arm wringer on his black haired opponent, and when Crowbar went to do a summersault to counter it Knoble let go and dropped him right on his head! He covered with his forearm across Crowbar's throat but only recieved a two count. Crowbar battled back out of the corner with elbows and kicks before leveling Knoble with a spear! He climbed to the top rope and landed a beautiful flying cross body on the Champion but Knoble kicked out at the last minute. Back to their feet and Knoble leveled Crowbar with a jaw breaking short-arm clothesline!
THE FINISH: Knoble started to target more towards Crowbar's legs eventually locking on a modified version of the Reverse Figure Four Leglock, forcing Crowbar to tap out!
WINNER(S): @ 5:11, Jamie Knoble
NOTES: Knoble looked dominating in this one, I hope WCW gives him some time with the strap as he is impressive as hell in the ring. That new move could very well be his new finisher, but what will they call it? We'll have to wait and see.
RATING: -68%-56%-81%
After Knoble was handed his Cruiserweight Title he climbed the turnbuckle and raised it in the air before one of those good ol' video packages from the WCW hype machine started to play. "Decades ago, two high octane individuals ushered in a new style of professional wrestling, and with it the face of professional wrestling would never be the same."

SCOTT HUDSON: "Fans stay tuned, when Unleashed returns we expect to hear from the WCW World Heavyweight Champion Val Venis!"
ARN ANDERSON: "I can assure you the champion isn't happy Scott! Stay tuned fans."
After a brief commercial break the show returned, and Val Venis' music was playing as the Heavyweight Champion walked to the ring dressed in a red dress shirt and white slacks, the World Heavyweight Title was over his shoulder. Venis didn't look to be in a very good mood when he grabbed the microphone from David Pinzer, before he could talk the fans cut him off with chants of "You-got-pinned-ah" Venis snarled and finally started to talk.
VAL VENIS: "The Great American Bash, a night that will forever be remembered by all of you worthless pieces of trash as the day that your team overcame those "Evil Canadians" in the Six Man Tag-Team Elimination Match, huh ha- and yes the day that the Big Valbowski got pinned by Booker T."
Venis looked disgusted about having to say that, and the fans changed their previous chant to a "You Suck" chant.
VAL VENIS: "But need I remind every single one of you that Booker T had a little help in that affair, and that if it hadn't been for Scott Steiner victory would have been the last thing that Booker T tasted!"
Venis looked around and the camera showed fans holding up signs supporting the former Heavyweight Champion of the world, Booker T.
VAL VENIS: "And on to you Booker T, the number one contender to this hear Heavyweight Championship - Bash at the Beach will be no different than Slamboree with one exception. Where you walked in with the gold last time, The Big Valbowski now walks in with the strap. But, make no mistake about it the outcome will be the same as I will walk out of D.C. STILL The World Heavyweight Champion! 'Cause after all there's men that are good, there's those that are great and then there's Val Venis! Huh huh ha!"
Venis dropped the microphone and headed to the back having said his peace, I guess Booker T will be claiming his shot at the WCW hampionship at Bash at the Beach!

From there the scene switched to the locker room where III Count, Shannon Moore and Evan Karagias were talking, Shannon opened up his locker to reveal a red slip of paper hanging from the hook inside. Shannon Moore grabbed the card and looked at it.
SHANNON MOORE: "You are invited to compete in the invite only Battle Royal for the WCW Cruiserweight title at Bash at the Beach... Shane McMahon"
......
"DUDE! I'm in!"
Moore smiled and Evan Karagias looked surprised, he opened up his locker and he too found a red ticket hanging in it.
EVAN KARAGIAS: "Man! I'm in too!"
Moore and Karagias high fived each other and slipped the tickets into their pockets before grabbing their bag and walking out of the locker room with smiles on their faces. Chavo Guerrero junior was shown in the opposite corner on crutches. He looked around the empty locker room to see if anyone else was in there, and once he was assured he was alone he opened up his locker to find that there was no red ticket in it for him. He slammed the door shut and looked disappointed as Unleashed went to commercial break.

When the show returned, WCW backstage interviewer Pamela Paulshock was seen with a microphone.
PAMELA PAULSHOCK: "Hello everyone! Pamela here, and joining me is none other than the man who at The Great American Bash last Sunday lead his team to victory in the Six Man Elimination encounter, Booker T!"
The camera panned back to reveal that Booker T was indeed standing there, he had on his new t-shirt from WCW.com.
PAMELA PAULSHOCK: "Booker T last Sunday you secured a shot at the WCW World Heavyweight Championship at Bash at the Beach, but more surprising to everyone was the act that Scott Steiner, a man who you were bitter enemies with came to your aid in the match. What is the deal here Booker?"
Booker looked at the beautiful blonde interviewer for a second then pulled the mic up to his mouth.
BOOKER T: "You wanna know what tha' deal is Pamela? Well let me tell ya' what the deal is! The deal is that the Booker Man, the four time WCW Champion is the numba' one contenda' and at Bash at the Beach he is gonna make history by becoming the Five time! Five time! Five time! Five time! Five time WCW Champion when he beats Val Venis' punk ass fo' the title!"
The fans in the arena could be heard cheering as Pamela put the microphone back to her mouth.
PAMELA PAULSHOCK: "Well, what about Scott Steiner?"
BOOKER T: "Hell, what about Scott Steiner? I don't ma".....
Before Booker T could even say anything Big Poppa Pump and Midajah had walked up to him. Steiner and Booker T stared into each other's eyes not saying a word until Steiner took Paulshock's microphone.
SCOTT STEINER: "What I did at the Great American Bash was just business Booker T! I don't like you and you don't like me, but hell even you make a better Champion than Venis... and just so you know after you beat him for the title I'm gonna be the first one to challenge ya' for it, and I'm gonna be the guy that takes it away! It's as simple as that."
Big Poppa Pump and Midajah walked away, and the camera zoomed in on Booker T's face for a few moments before going back into the arena.

In the arena the 'Ragin' Cajun,' Lash Leroux was making his way to the ring, he shook hands with some of the fans before sliding in and posing. Soon after Air Raid's jet takeoff music played and AJ Styles and Air Paris walked out to the ring with the huge bald man that debuted at the Great American Bash with them, Hudson informed us that he was talking to Air Raid in the back and the man's name was Ramon. Air Paris slid into the ring, and the other two stood at ringside as he got set for singles action.
SINGLES MATCH
Air Paris w/ AJ Styles and Ramon versus Lash Leroux
Leroux caught the cocky Air Paris off guard with a quick offensive flurry, and nailed a beautiful bridging Northern Lights Suplex but Air Paris kicked out at two. A kick to the face stopped Leroux dead in his tracks and Air Paris nailed him with a float over ddt. He went to the top and dropped the leg but Leroux moved and Air Paris crashed to the mat. Lash picked him up for the Whiplash and landed it!
THE FINISH: AJ Styles had jumped up on the apron acting like he was trying to get into the ring, the referee however held him back. This allowed the big man to run into the ring and lift Lash Leroux up before nailing the huge spinning side walk Slam (ala Big Bossman). Ramon rolled out of the ring and Air Paris nailed the Asai moonsault for the 1, 2, 3.
WINNER(S): @ 3:21, Air Paris
NOTES: Wow, Lash Leroux gets squashed again, this trio looks to have some promise, and Ramon who used to be known as Reno in the old WCW in case you didn't recognize him (I don't think they want you to) adds the muscle that may eventually lead these two to Tag Team Gold. Hey it could happen.
RATING: -72%-55%-89%
Air Paris gained 2 points of overness
Air Paris got his hand raised in victory, immeadiatly after he began stomping on Lash Leroux. Styles and Ramon came in and a beat down ensued before the show went to commercial break.
SCOTT HUDSON: "Folks be sure to stay tuned, up next is the main event and the WCW World Tag Team Titles are on the line, don't go away!"
When the show returned Sean O'Haire and Chuck Palumbo were heading to the ring, I must say that looked naked without the WCW World Tag Team Titles around their waists, they taunted the fans before Conway and Dinsmore's music started up. They walked out with the WCW World Tag-Team titles proudly strapped around their waists and shook hands with all of the fans on their way to the ring. The Tag Champions carefully kept their eyes on the challengers in the ring as they entered the squared circle.
WCW WORLD TAG-TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH
Rob Conway and Nick Dinsmore© versus Sean O'Haire and Chuck Palumbo
Nick Patrick held the Tag Team Titles in the air for everyone to see, then called for the bell. Conway and O'Haire started things off with a tye up, O'Haire shoved Conway backwards and into the corner. O'Haire nailed some hard knees into Conway's midesection before whipping him into the opposite corner, Conway hit with such impact he fell to the mat holding his back. O'Haire and Palumbo kept Conway in their corner utilizing quick tags. After a pump handle slam Palumbo covered but Dinsmore made the save. After Conway landed on his feet when Palumbo pressed him in the air, He decked him hard with his knockout right hand shot. Both men lied on the mat, and after some time Conway tagged was able to tag in Dinsmore. Nick came in and knocked Palumbo to the mat with a dropkick before working over the legs with an indian deathlock, Palumbo made it to the ropes. Conway used his technical skills to give him the edge on the more powerful Plaumbo, but Chack caught Dinsmore off guard and clotheslines him out to the floor. He followed after Dinsmore and began brawling on the outside, soon after conway and O'Haire joined in, and the referee tried his best to regain order.
THE FINISH: Dinsmore slid back into the ring as O'Haire and Conway battled on outside of the ring, he turned around and Chuck Palumbo had slid in the opposite side, he went for the Jungle Kick - Dinsmore side stepped and Palumbo missed, he turned around and Dinsmore rolled him up with an inside cradle, but somehow Palumbo tilted his weight turning the move on Dinsmore, Palumbo was in reach and grabbed the rope unbeknown to the referee, 1, 2, Conway tried to roll into the ring and break the count but it was too late, 3! O'Haire and Palumbo were once again the WCW World Tag Team Champions ending Conway and Dinsmore's reign at six days.
WINNER(S): @ 12:11, Sean O'Haire and Chuck Palumbo (New WCW World Tag-Team Champions)
NOTES: Wow, I really wasn't expecting a title change so soon but with that finish it looks like this feud isn't over, I see a rematch coming at the Bash at the Beach anyone else?

Booker T was rolled back into the ring by Val Venis, and the WCW Champion climbed to the top rope before nailing the Money Shot! Val Venis landed the Money Shot and hooked the leg, 1, 2, ... Booker's foot was on the ropes! Venis was angered and pounded on Booker in a mounted position before lifting Booker T up and whipping him into the ropes, but Booker nailed a flying forearm that took both men down. The ref instituted a ten count, and at eight Booker T had crawled over and tagged in Rob Van Dam. Venis was not so lucky as R-V-D came in hot, catching Venis with stinging kicks. R-V-D whipped him into the ropes and took the Champion down with a spinning heel kick! Van Dam looked around at the fans and felt it was time to go up top, he did so and for the second time in the night R-V-D went to the top rope. He jumped off for the Frog Splash, but no one was home! Venis quickly rolled Rob Van Dam up with a school-boy, and the champion had his feet on the ropes, 1.. 2.. 3!
Eliminated: Rob Van Dam (p. by Val Venis)
Venis quickly reached over and tagged in Elix Skipper who came into the ring with the sole survivor of the opposing side, Booker T! Booker was fighting like a man posessed, and like there was no tomorrow. Skipper was whipped into the ropes and leaped up for a cross body, but Booker caught him and after some readjusting slammed him down with a thunderous Spinebuster! Booker T Spineroonied back to his feet and stalked Elix Skipper, Val Venis was lying on the side of the mat for a breather. Skipper got up and Booker kicked him in the gut before bouncing off of the ropes and nailing the Ghetto Blaster Scissor's Kick! Skipper was out of it as booker made the cover and got the academic three count!
Eliminated: Elix Skipper (p. by Booker T)
Booker T got up and stared across the ring at Val Venis, it was down to this... the two men that fought over the WCW World Heavyweight Championship at Slamboree where once again going at it on Pay-Per-View. The two men circled each other before locking up, Venis used his strength to back Booker in the corner. He beat on his opponent with knees to the midsection, the Champion hooked Booker up and landed a Fisherman Suplex but Booker T kicked out at two. The two men brawled back and fourth, after applying a headlock Val looked to squeeze the energ out of Booker, but he shrugged the headlock off and shoved Val into the ropes before nailing a huge spinebuster on the WCW Champion!
For the second time, Booker T spineroonied back to his feet, setting the crowd off and the Heavyweight Champion got back to a standing base, Booker jumped up and went for the sidekick, but Venis ducked the attack and bounced off of the ropes before knocking Val down with a shoulder block to the knee of Booker T, knocking him off of his feet. Booker grabbed his knee in agony, and Val went to work on his legs before locking in his Reverse Figure Four Leglock. Booker screamed, and just as he was about to tap out, he finally made it to the ropes. This seemed to have ticked Venis off so he rolled out of the ring and went over to the ring announcer David Penzer, after he did he shoved Penzer to the floor and grabbed the steel chair he was sitting on. Venis rolled back into the ring, and lifted the chair up into the air, his intent was to bring it down on Booker's leg but the referee grabbed the chair! Venis and the ref played a game of tug-of-war, then the Heavyweight Champion kicked the referee below the belt and folded the steel chair over his head.
The referee crashed to the mat, and now Val returned his attention to Booker T, lifting the chair up over his head, until.......
...
The lights went out.
For a few moments nothing but flashbulbs from cameras were seen, and Hudson and Anderson speculated that the show my have been experiencing a power outage. Then chills ran up their spines as red lights began to flash, and "Holla' if ya' hear me!" was pronounced over the loud speaker followed by the sound of a police beacon. There was no mistake about it, that was the music of 'Big Poppa Pump' Scott Steiner, but the lights were still out, all except for the red beacon lights. Finally the lighting in the arena did come back on, and the Champion was looking at the entrance way with a look of fear on his face, but Steiner was no where to be seen. Well no where on the entrance ramp to be seen, because when Venis turned around he was face to face with the former World Champion who had slid in the ring moments prior. Venis jumped back then fired a right hand, and he and Steiner began brawling in the center of the ring, with the referee still out of it. The commentators put over how they couldn't believe Scott Steiner of all people had come to Booker's aid, and the sound of the fans was near defening.
Venis kicked Steiner in the gut, and tried to hook him up in a cobra clutch, which proved not to be such a good move as Steiner locked up the champion and launched him over his head with a release belly-to-belly suplex! Booker T had gotten to his feet, looking at the returning Steiner in disbelief, Big Poppa Pump told Booker to "finish him off" and then rolled out of the ring. Venis groggily got back to his feet, and Booker hooked him up, BOOK END! Booker T blasted the WCW Champion with the Book End, and Steiner was shown once again, this time at the top of the ramp directing a new referee toward the ring. Booker T made the cover, and the new ref got into position, 1, 2, 3!

WCW Great American Bash: June 24, 2001
Toronto Ontario, Canada and Albany New York, USA
"Old Glory" waved high as the telecast came on the air, and "America the Beautiful" was being sang by children, but after a few moments static started to overcome the picture, and the voices began to drag out almost as if the audio was in slow motion. That's when the American Flag was overtaken by the Canadian flag being waved, a close up on that flag lead to it being carried by Team Canada, and lots of action clips from their encunters with Booker T, Mike Awesome and Rob Van Dam. The Toronto Sky Dome and Pepsi Center are shown, the two arenas that this two nation event will be projected from. More clips of the stars like Jeff Jarrett, and Shawn Stasiak are shown in the low toned music, then a hard rock rift replaced it and the red white and blue took over the screen once more with Dallas Page, Booker T, Mike Awesome, Rob Van Dam and others shown hitting their signature moves, Finally the logo overtook the screen and a voice proclaimed...."And now from the Pepsi Arena in Albany New York, and the Skydome in Toronto Canda, WCW proudly presents the Great american Bash!"
A split screen showed the pyro errupting on the stages of both arenas and the fans packing in for the event. Then the Albany shot became full screen, and to the surprise of many sitting at the announcers table in this arena wasn't the usual duo of Scott Hudson and Arn Anderson, rather the WCW Owner himself Shane McMahon and Terry Taylor.
Shane McMahon: "Well, we're not the usual sight our fans are used to Terry, but if I do say so myself, the Mac-Daddy does look a whole lot finer than Hudson or Anderson ever dreamed of being."
Terry Taylor: "Well I won't comment on that Mr. McMahon, but I must say it feels great to be behind the microphone once again, and I can't wait to call the WCW action we have in store for us here tonight in Albany at the Great American Bash."
Shane McMahon: "Hell, it's an action packed line up like only Shane O'Mac's WCW can deliver, tonight the great american Bash is going to prove that we're on the rise once again, and that soon enough my words will ring true and WCW Will kick my father's ass once again!"
Terry Taylor: "Well fans we're going to kick things off with one of the most prized titles in our industry up for grabs as the Champion Buff Bagwell puts the United States Title on the line against the 'Mecca of Manliness' himself, Shawn Stasiak."
Shane McMahon: "And Stacy is going to be with him, she always looks fine! Terry, you know I should ask her if she's ever thought of taking up an office job, I sure could use her 'assistance' around the office."
Terry Taylor: "Ha, ha I'm sure you could Shane O'Mac! Lets head to the ring!"
It is Stasiak who made his way to the ring first, wearing electric purple trunks with white stars stitched on the back as well as the word 'Mecca.' The beautiful but deadly Stacy Keibler matched Stasiak's attire as her miniskirt and halter top were of the same electric hue. The 'Mecca' held the ropes for Stacy to get into the squared circle, and once both were done doing their usual pose Stasiak grabbed the microphone from the ring announcer David Penzer.
Shawn Stasiak: "Shut up, Listen and".....
Stasiak's promo was cut short however with Bagwell's music, and sure enough the current reigning and defending United States Champion came out before down his muscle pose to a shower of sparks on the ramp. Bagwell made sure he kept an eye on both Stacy Keibler and Shawn Stasiak upon his arrival to the squared circle. Once inside the battleground he handed the United States Title to the referee.
United States Championship Match
Buff Bagwell© versus 'Mecca' Shawn Stasiak w/ Stacy Keibler
With Stacy Keibler on the outside of the ring looking on Bagwell and Stasiak locked up. Stasiak, with a snap of Bagwell's arm attempted a duck under and a go behind but before he could get his arms locked around the waist of Bagwell, the United States Champion delivered a few elbows to the challenger's head. Bagwell knocked in a few right hands, then with him leaning against the ropes Bagwell took hold of an arm and whipped his opposition toward the opposite side of the ring. Stasiak fired back and evaded an attempted clothesline from Buff, bouncing back he knocked Bagwell to the mat with a shoulder block but hurdled the Champion's body and continued to run the ropes, Buff was attempting to get to his feet but Stasiak brought him back down to the mat with a swinging neckbreaker. The 'Mecca' as he likes to be referred to as put a forearm across the jaw of Buff and went for the cover, only getting a two count.
He got to his feet and began stomping at the arms and chest of Bagwell, referee Charles Robinson warned Stasiak, so the challenger grabbed Bagwell by the head and neck and went to lift him to his feet, Bagwell shrugged Stasiak's arms off of him and after landing a knee to the midsection, the United States Heavyweight Champion bounced Stasiak's face off of the top turnbuckle and rolled him up with a school-boy. 1, 2 ... Stasiak kicked out. Buff didn't allow Stasiak to get up on his own will, instead he aided him to his feet and irish-whipped him into the corner turnbuckle. Bagwell charged full speed and connected with a clothesline that nearly knocked Shawn up and over the turnbuckle. Bagwell grabbed Stasiak's arm once again and went to send him into the opposite corner but the 'Mecca' countered whipping Bagwell there instead. Bagwell hit sternum-first and propelled backward with great speed only to recieve a brutal haymaker from behind courtesy of Shawn Stasiak. The fans gasped at the velocity Bagwell hit the mat with, and Stasiak hooked the leg, arrogantly holding up another finger with each count the ref made, 1, 2 ... Bagwell kicked out!
Shawn Stasiak looked at Charles Robinson and held up three fingers, justifying his account by yelling "That was three!" Then, realizing that arguing wasn't going to do him anything, Stasiak lifted Bagwell back up and then shot him out through the ring ropes and out to the floor. Stasiak grabbed the referee by the shirt and turned the official's back to Bagwell on the outside. While Stasiak kept the referee's attention, Stacy Keibler had made her way over to Bagwell who had a hold to the ring apron and was pulling himself up. Stacy hauled off and slapped Buff right across the face! Buff became enraged, Stacy charged around the ring and Bagwell followed suit, running right into the set-up Stasiak and Stacy had devised. Stasiak slid out of the ring and caught Bagwell by surprise with a huge clothesline! Shawn then lifted Buff off of the arena floor and sent him flying shoulder first into the steel ringsteps! Bagwell held his shoulder in pain, and Stasiak rolled the Champion back into the ring.
The "Mecca' climbed up onto the apron, and then ascended the turnbuckle. The fans boo'd the challenger's taunts, then Stasiak leaped off of the top with the elbow .... connecting to the chest of the United States Champion. Cover, 1, 2, the referee noticed Buff's foot on the rope and called for the break. Stasiak's frustration had become evident, he breathed heavily and tugged at his short brown hair. On the outside of the ring Stacy Keibler has ahold of Bagwell's WCW United States Championship Belt, and the leggy blonde sat it in the corner of the ring. Stasiak headed over there, and Stacy jumped up onto the apron at the other side of the ring, immeadiatly getting Charles Robinson's attention.
This allowed Stasiak to grab ahold of the United States Championship, and he tapped on the gold taunting Bagwell to get to his feet, when Bagwell did get up Shawn Stasiak charged full speed and... Missed! Bagwell evaded the title shot, and kicked Stasiak in the gut before lifting him up and dropping him down to the mat head first with a piledriver! Buff shoved Charles robinson out of the way, then grabbed Stacy by the back of her head and planted her with a kiss! Stacy jumped down off of the apron with a blushed face, and Buff climbed to the second rope telling the fans it was time to end it, Stasiak got to his feet and turned to face just as Bagwell leaped off and connected with the Buff Blockbuster! Bagwell hooked the leg of Stasiak and the fans counted along 1, 2, 3!
Winner: Buff Bagwell, still WCW United States Champion (via pinfall)
-60% -63% 54%
Bagwell's music replayed over the speakers, and Buff looked down at Stasiak with a smirk on his face as his hand was raised by Charles Robinson who in turn gave Bagwell the United States Championship. Buff walked up the ramp with the Title slung over his shoulder.
From there the simulcast switched from Albany to Toronto, and the fans cheered when cameras caught up to the WCW World Cruiserweight Champion 'Sugar' Shane Helms in the backstage area. Helms was talking to the hair and makeup ladies, then he turned around and walked away. Just as Helms was about to round a corner, Hugh Morrus popped out and Helms ran straight into him.
Shane Helms: "Woah, damn Hugh, my bad I didn't even see ya' there 'scuse me, bro."
Helms walked away, but Morrus stood there looking pissed off, then he snarled;
Hugh Morrus: "Yeah, you're damn right that was your bad!"
That scene darkened out and faded to the two announcers that fans of the new WCW are more at home with, Scott Hudson and Arn Anderson.
Scott Hudson: "What the hell was that all about?"
Arn Anderson: "Well it looked to me like Shane Helms needs glasses, Hugh Morrus is one of the last guys I'd want to run into."
Scott Hudson: "Well fans, Arn and I are live here in Toronto Ontario Canada, and I hope you're ready to see some Cruiserweight action!"
Arn Anderson: "This one has been boiling for quite some time, ever since AJ Styles and Air Paris made their way back to WCW actually and cost Three Count their Cruiserweight Tag Team Titles."
Scott Hudson: "That's what started it all, and ever since these two teams have been waiting to get their hands on each other, well they will right now! It's Air Raid and Three Count, Cruiserweight Tag-Team action."
"Oooh baby, from the moment
that i first meant you
I knew it right from the start,
and now I-can't-get-you...
I can't get you out'a my heart"
The infamous lyrics of Three Count's hit song played over the speakers, and Moore and Karagias came dancing out to the top of the stage in the Toronto Skydome. Then Shannon and Evan clapped hands with each other before walking down the ramp, greeting with some lucky femals fans and then sliding into the ring.
Then the sound of jets blasting off replaced the hit song, signalling the entrance of Three Count's heated rivals AJ Styles and Air Paris collectively known as Air Raid. Styles and Paris came out to the top of the ramp in matching Adidas workout pants, but they were not alone. A large tan-skinned bald man dressed in a black adidas workout suit with a huge gold chain around his neck followed them out to the ring. He stood guard menacingly on the outside of the ring as Styles and Paris pulled off their workout pants revealing their matching short-trunk attire.
Cruiserweight Tag-Team Grudge Match
AJ Styles and Air Paris versus Shannon Moore and Evan Karagias
While Hudson and Anderson speculated as to who the large man at the outside of the ring was, both teams talked things over with their team-mates until it was decided which man on each team would start things off. Finally it was settled, as AJ Styles would start things off with Shannon Moore. The two Cruiserweight competitors circled each other, each man tried to size his opponent up. Then the lockup and Styles applied an arm wringer on Shannon Moore, twisting it to the full degree. Moore tapped his shoulder in pain, then did a front flip and reversed the hold applying the pressure now to Styles. AJ dropped to a knee from the sheer force that Moore had applied but eventually got back up, grabbed the top rope and and forced the hold to be broken. Styles shook out his arm and went to tie up once again, but Moore ducked under his arm and quickly rolled him up in a school-boy for two!
Styles got to his feet, but Moore was quicker and delivered a dropkick to Styles that sent him backwards and against the ropes. Moore hurried to AJ and grabbed his arm before whipping him into the corner where Evan Karagias was standing. Moore pelted Styles with a couple of forearms before grabbing him by the head and tagging in Karagias. Evan came in and stomped at the exposed ribs of AJ Styles. The referee forced Moore back into his corner as Evan went to whip Styles into the ropes, but AJ countered and sent Karagias flying and caught him with a tilt-a-whirl slam upon return. AJ dragged Evan over to the Air Raid corner and tagged in Air Paris. The skinnier of the two men springboarded off of the center of the rope, landing a legdrop to the back of Moore's head before making a cover for two.
Pairs lifted Karagias to his feet and clubbed him a few times on the back with his forearms. Evan leaned into the corner and Air Paris gave him one knife edge chop after another, but Evan grabbed ahold of Paris and slammed him into the turnbuckle. Karagias used some shoulder thrusts to knock the wind out of the Air Raid member before lifting him up and crotching him on the top rope. But Evan didn't follow Air Paris up, instead he took a few steps back, then charged, leaping up onto the top rope and using it to springboard off of and connect with a dropkick to a seated Air Paris sending him tumbling out to the floor!
A Holy Shit chant began in some sections of the arena, though only small chants and AJ Styles charged toward Karagis only to be taken down with a well placed drop toe hold. At that moment Shannon Moore leaped off of the top rope landing a summersault legdrop on Styles. Air Paris finally started getting his marbles together on the outside of the ring, with the help of the large man that accompanied them to the ring. Inside of the squared circle, Moore and Karagias whipped Styles into the ropes, and the used a double back body drop to send Styles over the top rope and out onto Air Paris and the large man! The height AJ reached was amazing!
Moore and Karagias talked to each other in the ring as the crowd was going nuts. Evan croutched down on his hands and knees next to the ropes, while Shannon bounced off of the opposite ropes, than Jumped onto Karagias' back and dived to the outside landing once again on the three men! The crowd absolutely loved it, and now Evan Karagias climbed to the top of the turnbuckle, when the men finally got up Karagias did a summersault dive onto everyone, even taking out Shannon Moore!
It took a few moments for anyone to get up from that high risk sequence but finally out of all of the debris Evan Karagias lifted Air Paris up and rolled him into the ring. Karagias hooked the leg, 1, 2... kickout by Air Paris! The large man that had accompanied Air Raid to the ring grabbed ahold of Shannon Moore on the outside of the ring, and tossed him into the steel ring steps! AJ Styles got onto the apron and attempted to get into the ring, but really was only looking to keep the referees attention on him because the large man slid into the ring, and grabbed Evan Karagias before planting him with a sickening spinning sidewalk slam! He rolled Air Paris on top of Evan Karagias and left the ring, Styles let the referee go and Scott Dickenson seeing the cover slid into position, 1, 2, 3!

Styles hopped off of the apron, and the big man grabbed Air Paris by the leg and slid him out of the ring, the three men raised their hands on the outside spouting stuff off at the fans.
Scott Hudson: "I'll tell you what, I don't recognize that man but I do think that Air Raid has added quite the secret weapon to their arsenal."
Arn Anderson: "You aren't kidding Scott, but wait... I'm recieving word from the truck that our broadcast partner Pamela Paulshock is standing by in the back."
Scott Hudson: "Take it away Pam."
When the cameras pick up in the interview position Pamela Paulshock is standing by wearing a rather revealing low cut top, and tight blue jeans. The blonde beauty is joined by none other than three of the men that headline Toronto's card, Booker T, Rob Van Dam and Mike Awesome.
Pamela Paulshock: "Thanks guys, well I'm standing alongside the three men that will face Team Canada tonight in a six man tag-team elimination match, and these three men have had more than their fair share of run ins with the WCW World Heavyweight Champion Val Venis, Lance Storm and Elix Skipper over the past few months. Of course I am talking about Booker T, Rob Van Dam and Mike Awesome. Now guys, Team Canada claim that they are the world's greatest athletes and that there's no way they're going down in defeat tonight, what are your thoughts on that?"
Paulshock's infamous question of questions, what are your thoughts on that? Awesome steps up first.
Mike Awesome: "You want to know my thought on that Pam? Well let me tell ya' my thoughts. You see I think that's a whole load of crap, and it was probably straight from the mouth of Lance Storm. Well Lance let's take a stroll down memory lane shall we? I had you beat last month in that ambulance match, plain and simple. The only reason you walked out with your hand raised that night was 'cause ya' played the numbers game. Well as I look around tonight I think the numbers are pretty even!"
Rob Van Dam: "Yeah, those guys are sooo.... 'cool.' You know, not only do they resort to three on one inside of the ring, they try and take out their opponents in the back. Well Lance Storm, Elix Skipper, and Val Venis R-V-D is back at one-hundred percent, and tonight 'Mr. Pay-Per-View' is going to show all of you just why they call me the whole damn show!"
Booker T was standing there with a ticked off expression on his face, and then he stepped up to Pamela's microphone.
Booker T: "Val Venis and Team Canada, two weeks ago you sucka's took me out from behind, an' ya' tried but'cha didn't take the Booker Man out for good. Well tonight there ain't no if's and's or but's about it, Val Venis your smug ass is goin' down tonight an' one of us leaves here the numba' one contenda!"
The three men smiled, as Pamela brought the microphone back to her mouth.
Pamela Paulshock: "Alright! Anything else?"
Booker T: "Yeah.. you three suckas need to realize that tonight when we beat yo' asses in yo' homeland, ya' can't blame Canada, ya' can blame yourselves! Ah, and Don't hate the playa's (Booker looked around at Van Dam and Awesome who had smiles on their faces) Hate the Game!"
With that the three men walked off and Pamela signed off leading the simulcast back over to the Pepsi Arena in Albany where Shane McMahon and Terry Taylor were once again shown.
Terry Taylor: "Man Shane O'Mac, I have to say the Great American Bash thus far has literally been off the charts."
Shane McMahon: "Well you wouldn't expect anything less from my boys, would you?"
Terry Taylor: "By the looks of things, certainly not."
Shane McMahon: "Well it's about to get better, because up next the WCW World Tag Team Titles are on the line, it's the red hot team of Conway and Dinsmore going up against perhaps the most impressive Tag-Team in recent memory, our Tag Team Champions Palumbo and O'Haire."
The challengers for the WCW World Tag-Team Titles were out first, Dinsmore and Conway the fresh faced WCW rookies clapped hands with the fans at ringside, then at the same time on opposite sides of the ring, the two men grabbed ahold of the top rope and jumped into the ring, each climbed to the second turnbuckles and posing for the fans.
Then it was time for the Tag-Team Champions to make their entrance, and they did so with the normal presence of arrogance around them. After posing at the top of the ramp to pyro, the two men walked toward the squared circle, doing their best to make sure that a fan couldn't dare touch them. They entered the ring, and O'Haire unstrapped his Tag Title amd held it up taunting Conway and Dinsmore with it.
WCW Tag Team Title Match
Conway and Dinsmore versus O'Haire and Palumbo©
The bell rang as soon as referee Mark Johnson had taken the Tag Titles, and Conway & Dinsmore charged the Tag Team Champions. They stomped and punched away, until the referee got between them and ordered for control of the match-up. Palumbo went into the corner, as did Dinsmore. O'Haire shoved Conway backwards, then knocked him down with a well placed spin kick. O'Haire, instead of going for the cover used the time to taunt the fans who cateured to his antics with resounding jeers and obscenities. Conway had crawled over to the corner and placed the tag to Nick Dinsmore, the cocky O'Haire pointed his finger at Dinsmore and told him to "come get yourself some." Dinsmore did, planting a running forearm to the face of the Tag champion. With O'Haire on the ropes, Dinsmore planted a kick to the midsection before hooking him up with a bridging Northern lights suplex. 1, 2... O'Haire kicked out!
Dinsmore got to his feet and grabbed O'Haire by the neck and head, walking him over to the corner in which Rob Conway was standing. Tag to Conway, Dinsmore held onto O'Haire and while Conway climbed to the top rope, and leaped off with an axe-handle smash! Cover for the count, 1, 2, kickout! Rob grabbed O'Haire by the head and lifted him to his feet, but O'Haire used a knee to the midsection to stop the man's onslaught, then he hauled off and connected with a hard elbow to the face of his opponent, knocking Conway down to the mat. Tag to Chuck Palumbo, and the big man hit the ring, landing a knee to the head of Conway. Cover, and Dinsmore made the save at two. Palumbo lifted Conway up and sent him into the ropes, the rookie telegraphed Palumbo's attempt at a back-body drop and leap-frogged over him before bouncing back off of the ropes and landing a spinning reverse back elbow. Conway kipped up and tagged in Nick Dinsmore.
Dinsmore came in and immeadiatly began working the legs of the much taller Palumbo, and after a few leg laces, the the technically sound mat technician applied a figure-four leglock! O'Haire screamed out loud with the pressure being applied, but continues to tell the referee he wasn't going to give. His shoulders hit the mat 1, 2... He got them up just in time. Palumbo reached for the ropes but was still too far away, as he was about to tap out, O'Haire ran in and landed a leg-drop on Dinsmore's head, forcing him to release the hold. The fans boo'd the heelish antics, but O'Haire had saved his partner and his team for that matter from sure defeat.
Palumbo, while holding his shin in agony crawled over and made the tag to his partner. Dinsmore was attempting to do the same, but O'Haire rushed in and grabbed his leg before dragging him back to the center of the mat. O'Haire began dropping his knees on the shins and knee caps of Nick Dinsmore, then once he grew tired of that he lifted him up and planted him with a reverse fireman's carry slam. O'Haire motioned to the crowd that he was going up top, and sure enough he did. It was Seanton Bomb time, that is it would have been hadn't Dinsmore moved in the knick of time forcing O'Haire to crash and burn.
Dinsmore crawled over to the corner and was reaching for the tag from Conway. O'Haire crawled toward him, and grabbed his leg as Sean was getting to his feet, but it was to no avail as Conway's hand met Dinsmore's. Rob came in like a house of fire landing fist after fist to the face of Sean O'Haire, after ducking a clothesline attempt, Conway delivered a ddt to O'Haire and jumped to his feet. He began tapping his fist, and 'dusted' it off, O'Haire was getting to his feet and Conway was sizing him up for his knock out right hand, but Palumbo came in, and Conway turned to face, Jungle Kick!.... nailed Sean O'Haire! Palumbo went for the Jungle kick, but Conway evaded his move, and Palumbo took out his own partner with the Super Kick! Conway rapped in a few shots to Palumbo's head before clotheslining him over the top rope and out to the floor! Rob Conway grabbed Sean O'Haire's leg and pulled him to the corner tagging in Nick Dinsmore. Dinsmore hit the ring fast, and showed great strength by picking O'Haire up into electric chair position, Conway was perched on the top rope and it seemed like O'Haire was set up for the Road Warrior's Doomsday Device, But conway leaped off and landed his knockout right hand to the face of O'Haire sending the big man tumbling down to the canvas below. Dinsmore made the cover and Conway stood guard, 1, 2, 3!

The WCW Tag Title has lost image
Rob Conway was jumping up and down ecstatically, as Nick Dinsmore's face looked as if he didn't quite realize that they were indeed now the WCW World Tag Team Champions. But it was a reality, after just a few short weeks in WCW Conway and Dinsmore were Champions.
But their victory celebration was cut short however as Palumbo re-entered the ring and landed the Jungle Kick on target this time, right to the face of Rob Conway, dropping 1/2 of the new Tag Team Champions to the mat. Dinsmore dropped his Tag Title and began brawling with Palumbo, but O'Haire came from behind and the two double teamed the technically sound competitor. O'Haire lifted Dinsmore up and planted him with a Reverse Fireman's Slam. Palumbo and O'Haire grabbed ahold of the tag belts and looked at what was once theirs before tossing them to the mat and leaving the ring.
Before the simulcast could switch to Toronto once again, one of the men who would headline the Albany card later in the night, Diamond Dallas Page was shown sitting in a folding chair and taping his wrists for the Last Man Standing Match tonight against Jeff Jarrett. DDP looked serious in thought, until the scene finally switched back to Scott Hudson and Arn Anderson in the Canadian province of Ontario.
Scott Hudson: "Well Arn, we just witnessed the crowning of new WCW World Tag-Team Champions, my question is will we see a new Cruiserweight Champion?"
Arn Anderson: "Shane Helms' run at the top of the Cruiserweight Mountain has so far been a successful one, but the two men that he must face tonight have joined forces in the past few weeks with the common goal of taking that title off of the Champion here tonight."
Scott Hudson: "But in a Triple Threat Match it is everyman for himself, and I have to wonder just how long the bond between Jamie Knoble and Chavo junior will last in this matchup."
Arn Anderson: "We're about to find out."
Chavo Guerrero was out first, and he passed the curtain before pointing in the crowd who in turned booed the third generation superstar. It seemed to be the reaction he was wanting as it brought a smile on his face when he came down the ramp and rolled into the ring. Chavo got up and raised both arms in the air before Jamie Knoble's music started up.
He came out to the top of the rampway and jumped up and down holding both arms in the air, then Noble pointed at Chavo in the ring and smiled, a sure sign that the two had something in the works for tonight. In his 'Swingblade' attire, Knoble posed on the turnbuckle until it was time for the Cruiserweight Champion of the World's unique entrance.
The 'Vertibreaker' track hit the PA, and the ever popular WCW Cruiserweight Champion, 'Sugar' Shane Helms came hopping out to the top of the entranceway complete with his 'sugarbabies.' After Helm's pyro, the ladies went back behind the curtain, and Helms dropped the title on the ramp before charging into the ring.
WCW World Cruiserweight Championship Match
'Sugar' Shane Helms© versus Jamie Knoble versus Chavo Guerrero junior
Helms slid in and sensed that the two men were going to work together, so it was fists of fury to both Chavo and Knoble knocking them down. His speed helped him keep the offensive advantage until while he was focused on Knoble, chavo chop blocked Helms' knee from behind. The two men (Knoble and Guerrero) double teamed Helms for the next few moments, and after a double back suplex Chavo went for the cover only to be pulled off by an offended Jamie Knoble.
They shoved each other and began trading blows until Helms knocked both men down with a double clothesline. The battle waged on with each man gaining the offensive advantage, then the scary moment of the match happened when Helms kicked Chavo's feet out from under him while he was on the turnbuckle, and Guerrero's leg landed awkwardly on the mat below twisting his ankle.
Chavo layed outside screaming in pain and holding his ankle, the referee sensing injury rolled outside and checked on him, Inside of the ring, Jamie Knoble went for a Tiger Bomb, but Helms countered and punched Knoble in the face, Jamie tripped backward and Helms whipped him hard back-first into the corner. Knoble came stumbling out and the Cruiserweight Champion hit the Sugar Smack right to the face! He called for the Vertebreaker and the fans rallied behind him.
Then it happened, out of nowhere Hugh Morrus slid into the ring and spun Helms around nailing him with a double arm chokeslam! Morrus then tore his singlet straps down and climbed to the top rope before squashing Helms with the No Laughing Matter! Morrus rolled out of the ring and left while Knoble crawled over and made the cover. The Referee saw the pin enroute to telling the EMTs to come down and check on Chavo, he slid in and made the count and we had a new Cruiserweight Champion of the World!

Jamie Knoble couldn't belive it, wide eyed he grabbed the Cruiserweight Championship and rolled out of the ring. Shane Helms was still lying motionless after being squashed by the No Laughing Matter from Hugh Morrus, what in the hell was going on?
From there we cut to the backstage area where the WCW Cruiserweight Tag Team Champions, Billy Kidman and Rey Misterio are seemingly getting prepared for their matchup. Kidman is to the far pulling something out of his bag while Rey is closer to the camera tying up his boots and tugging at the legs of his leather-like ring attire.
"knock, knock, knock."
Misterio continued to tye up his other boot, and Kidman looks to be ignoring the sound at the door.
"knock, knock, knock"
Billy Kidman: "Well, are you going to get that, or are you just going to stand there!?"
Misterio looked at Kidman with an unimpressed face, but walked toward the locker-room door.
Rey Misterio: "It ain't like yo' legs are broken."
Rey opened the door, unknowing who was behind it but once he caught a glimpse of who it was he shouted;
Rey Mysterio: "Oh..... damn holmes!"
"O'la le, dawg!"
The camera caught two of Misterio and Kidman's former running-mates and buddies, Konnan and Juventud Guerrera coming into the locker-room. Konnan and Misterio embraced, and Kidman who was in a rather smug mood prior walked over to his friends and got reacquanted.
Billy Kidman: "I knew you were on your way back Juvi, but no one said anything about you K-Dawg."
Konnan: "Hey, hey what can I say brotha' I'm back, but there's somethin' that I've been noticin' watching Un-leashed these past few weeks essas, things don't seem like they used to be with you two homies."
Kidman and Misterio looked at each other, and awkwardly and then back at their friends.
Rey Misterio: "We've had our differences lately, man."
Juventud Guerrera: "Yeah, no crap... but all that's about to change."
Konnan: "You're damn right, dawg.... The Filthy Animals are back in business and things 'bout to get rowday-rowdy."
(Everyone) "And bowday-bowdy"
The Animals all joined hands in the locker-room looking at each other for a few moments before the cameras went back to the arena.

"Disco never dies!" was heard when the cameras switched back, and the 'Dancing King' himself, Disco Inferno is busting his moves on his way to the ring. Upon arrival to the swuared circle, Disco slid in and grabbed a microphone from the ring announcer.
Disco Inferno: "Alright, shut up! Every single one of ya'!"
Disco glanced around the audience who boo'd him for his remarks, then brought the microphone back to his mouth.
Disco Inferno: "I just couldn't stand it anymore, I saw it just like everyone of you did a few seconds ago. Oh, isn't it sweet, the Filthy Animals back together again, all lovey-dubby.... oh come on! Let me tell ya' somethin' right now, I don't care that those guys are back together, and neither do you people, right?"
Disco looked out into the crowd again, only the crowd wasn't cheering him, they were chanting "Disco sucks!"
Disco Inferno: "What do you people know anyway! And another thing I don't care about is the fact that Juventud Guerrera is supposed to make his big return to the ring tonight. (Now a Juvi chant has started) In fact, I'm going to make sure that his little return to the ring isn't a successful one.... because I'm going to see to it myself! Yeah, that's right! So Juvi if you've got the guts, come on out here and meet me in the ring right now!"
Disco dropped the microphone, and held his arms out waiting to see if Juventud would actually accept the challenge. He didn't have to wait long as the Filthy Animals old music began to play and Juventud Guerrera, dressed in baggy red pleather pants made his arrival to the ring to a warm welcome from WCW fans that hadn't seen him in quite some time.
Singles Contest
Juventud Guerrera versus Disco Inferno
Guerrera rolled into the ring, but Disco, ever the opportunist went right to work before Juvi could even get to his feet, dropping an elbow right to the back of Guerrera's head and then proeeding to stomp away. Disco picked Guerrera up by the hair of his head and clubbed him back down to the mat with a short arm clothesline. He looked around and laughed, acting almost as if Guerrero was a joke. Then Disco went to grab Juvi again, but this time the 'Youth Warrior' caught him in the face with his boot, and then kipped up to his feet. Guerrera hooked Disco for a quick snap suplex and then rolled out to the apron. He slingshoted from the top rope and landed a senton splash on Disco Inferno before hooking the leg for the cover, 1, 2 .... kickout from Disco.
Juvi brushed his long black hair out of his eyes, and pulled Disco Inferno to his feet. After a couple of clubbing forearms, he went to send Disco into the ropes, but Disco countered whipping Guerrera into them instead, Disco went for what looked to be a tilt a whirl but it was countered with a flying head scissors by Guerrera, a move that sent WCW's resident Dance King crashing awkwardly into the ring ropes. Disco grogilly got to his feet and took a wild swing at Juventud Guerrera who counted the attack by hooking disco up and planting him with the Juvi Driver! Guerrera got up and told the fans he was going up, and sure enough he did climb to the top rope before landing a near perfect 450 splash- a move he single handedly brought to fame. He hooked Disco's leg, 1, 2, 3! Guerrera was back in WCW, and successful at that.

Juventud Guerrera had his hand raised by the referee, and the "Youth Warrior" climbed to the top of the turnbuckle and played to the fans. Disco rolled out of the ring and looked quite unpleased at his performance, while Hudson and Anderson talked about how great it was to see Juvi back in the WCW, and the Filthy Animals reunited.
What looks to be a prepackaged video begins to play now with nineteen-eighties style heavy metal music playing in the background. Some old AWA footage of a young Shawn Michaels and Marty Janetty, the Midnight Rockers was shown.
"Decades ago, two high octane individuals ushered in a new style of professional wrestling, and with it the face of professional wrestling would never be the same."
Now the footage stops, and two individuals never before seen in World Championship Wrestling decked out in new wave attire, but the same style tassled boots and arm bands stand in front of a caged wall. The voiceover then concludes...
"Two decades later, the face of professional wrestling will change once again..... THE NEW MILLENIUM ROCKERS, coming soon!"
Back to the arena and the Jung Dragonz were making their way to the ring with their leather clad manager Leia Meow, Leia had her whip in hand and she most likely would use it should her boys disappoint tonight. Yang and Hayashi came into the squared circle and looked into the crowd menacingly.
That's when the Animal's rap music picked up, and the WCW Cruiserweight Tag-Team Champions hip-hopped out onto the stage with Konnan behind them. Just moments ago running mate Juventud Guerrera was victorious, would Rey and Kidman be able to hold on to their titles now? They entered the ring and each took a corner, holding up their Tag-Team belts.
WCW Cruiserweight Tag-Team Championship Match
Rey Misterio and Billy Kidman© versus Kaz Hayashi and Yang w/ Leia Meow
After handing their titles to the referee Kidman informed Rey that he would be starting things off for their team, and Kaz Hayashi came out for the Dragons. A collar and elbow to get things going. After a few quick exchanges and some chain wrestling Hayashi was on the mat and Kidman was applying a hammerlock. Hayashi fought to his feet and Kidman tried to whip him into the ropes but ended up taking the ride himself and then he got launched with a japanese arm drag from Kaz. Kidman got to his feet and was quickly taken down with another Arm Drag, this time Kaz jept an arm bar applied, and tagged in Yang. The Dragons double teamed Kidman in the corner making sure to keep him seperated from Rey. Then Leia Meow had her leather whip across Kidman's neck choking him out!
Konnan ran over and chased Leia Meow away, and the 1/2 of the Cruiserweight Tag Champs was able to battle back and counter one of Yang's moves into a sit out powerbomb. Not looking to pleased about having to do it, Kidman tagged out to Rey junior. Misterio hit the ring, and so did Kaz but for his effort he was knocked down to the mat immeadiatly by the Filthy Animals member. Rey and Yang had a series of exchanges that got the crowd into the match, and after a dropkick knocked Yang on his but in the corner Rey junior hit a bronco buster!
Rey junior quickly lifted the Dragon member up, and went for a powerbomb, but the Dragon member was looking for a hurricanrana, but Misterio dropped to his back, bringing Yang neck-first against the second rope. Rey-Rey jumped to his feet and looked around before bouncing off the opposite ropes, Kidman reached out and tagged himself in while Misterio leaped, grabbed the top rope and spun around crashing his legs into Yang's face and knocking him to the mat. Kidman climbed to the top rope and landed a Shooting Star Press, then went for the cover. Rey looked like he was upset that Kidman was finishing the match like that, but quickly cut off Kaz Hayashi who had entered the ring to break the count, Kidman got the three!

The Cruiserweight Tag Titles have gained image
Misterio still looked a little upset about Kidman basically stealing the win, but Konnan rolled into the ring with the Cruiserweight Tag-Team Titles and handed them to his friends. Kidman celebrated with the title in the air while Konnan patted Rey junior on the back. It seemed that things still weren't quite right with the two, but Konnan is holding them together.
'Double J' Jeff Jarrett and his 'business Assosciate' Debra were shown heading toward the Gorilla Position next. Jarrett was decked out in his silver and white attire, his 'acoustic equalizer,' the good ol' six string guitar was at his side as well.
Shane McMahon: "Well WCW fans, it's the match that everyone here in Albany New York has been waiting for, the first of the Great American Bash's two Main Events, the Last Man Standing Match that I myself signed into existence."
Terry Taylor: Shane O'Mac, this has the makings to be one of the bloodiest encounters WCW has ever seen, there is so much bad blood between these two men, especially after Jarrett's attack a couple weeks ago on DDP. Oh man, this is going to be brutal."
Shane McMahon: "This is going to be a match that shows the entire world just where World Championship Wrestling is, and that's on top. Enough waiting, get this match going already!"
Almost as if they where running on McMahon's clock, Jarrett's music began to play, and the former WCW Champion came out accompanied by the beautiful Debra. 'Double J,' who's hair has grown back quite a bit since having his head shaved by Dallas Page at Slamboree jumped onto the center of the middle rope and held his guitar above his head to a shower of sparks. "You got shaved" could be heard throughout the crowd as Jarrett handed his guitar and 'Slapnuts' t-shirt to Debra on the outside of the ring.
"Self High Five!" Echoed throughout the Pepsi Center, and an electrified DDP came out onto the stage before flashing the Diamond Cutter sign to an ear popping pyro display, then the self proclimed 'People's Champion' jumped over the barricade and made his way through the crowd.
Last Man Standing Match
Jeff Jarrett versus Diamond Dallas Page
Diamond Dallas Page hopped over the barricade and slid into the ring before charging after Jeff Jarrett, but Double J slid out of the ring and Page followed suit. Page kept trying to get at Jarrett but 'Double J' hopped out to the floor each time. Finally when Jarrett slid back into the ring he waited and Page came in but a ready Jeff Jarrett floored him with a clothesline, knocking Page to his back. Jarrett immeadiatly dropped down and applied a reverse chinlock on Page, much to the fan's dismay. DDP looked as if he was going to fade away, but finally ended up grabbing the bottom rope. Jarrett lifted Page to his feet, and tried to end things early with the Stroke, but DDP avoided it and took the window of opportunity to try and go for the Diamond Cutter, Jarrett however held onto the top rope avoiding the move.
Jeff rolled out of the ring and began tearing apart the ring steps, but Page had stepped out onto the apron and leaped off taking Jarrett off of his feet with a flying clothesline. Page got to his feet and grabbed Jarrett by the back of the neck and head. He pointed at the barricade getting a bunch of fans in that area on their feet in excitement then the 'People's Champion' slammed Jeff's head off of the steel post, and a couple of the fans patted Page on the back. DDP punched two shots to the face of Jarrett before grabbing him by the tights and rolling him back into the ring. DDP lifted Jeff to his feet and whipped him into the ropes following it up with a tilt-a-whirl sideslam. Back to their feet, Page hooked with Jarrett, Jarrett won the exchange and went for a hiptoss but Page countered and hit a discus clothesline sending the both of them out and to the floor. They brawled to the announcer’s table, and DDP clotheslined Jarrett into the crowd. He hopped over the barricade and secuirity quickly seperated the fans from Jarrett and Page. DDP reached down and grabbed a trash can that was full of garbage, Jarrett got to his feet and DDP hit him with the trash can, sending its contents spilling all over.
They then continued to brawl and wound up next to the enrance way. Dallas tossed Double J into the side of the steel set, Jarrett's body broke off one of the blue display stars. DDP pinked the star up and continued to beat Jarrett down until there was nothing left to it. Page continued to lead the match with his brawling skills, now they had entered the opposite side of the set where the WCW.com table was set up, Page went to toss Jeff off of the ramp and onto the table, but Jarrett blocked Page's assault and dropped to a knee before nailing an uppercut right in the jewels. It was Jarrett that tossed Page off of the ramp, sending him crashing through the WCW.com table eight feet below. The referee began the ten count.1.. 2.. 3.. 4.. Page looked lifeless. 5.. 6.. 7.. Finally some signs of movement. 8.. 9.. Page, while groggy had made it to his feet in the knick of time. Jarrett followed Page to the bottom of the rampway and once again the two men traded rights and lefts. Jarrett went to whip Page into the steel ring post, but DDP countered knocking Jarrett head first into it.
Diamond Dallas Page looked under the ring while Jarrett layed motionless on the mat, and a worried Debra looked on. The ref got to five and Jarrett was back to his feet, if not to break the count it was to recieve a brutal shot from Page with a crutch that somehow happened to be under the ring. Page took what was left of the crutch and brought it against Jarrett's neck choking him out for a few moments, then he dropped the hold and tossed the crutch aside. Page grabbed a steel folding chair, Jarrett had been helped to his feet by Debra and was already in the ring when Page threw the chair in and then climbed into the squared circle.
Jarrett met Page with some heavy blows, backing the 'People's Champion' into the corner. 'Double J' sized Page up and cracked him with stinging knife edge chops. Then Jeff lifted Page up and crotched him on the turnbuckle. Jarrett climbed to the top and proceeded to deliver a scary looking superplex with most of DDP's own weight landing on his neck. Jarrett and Page both lied on the mat after the thunderous move, once again forcing the ten count to start. 1.. 2.. 3.. 4.. 5.. Jarrett and Page both rolled to their sides, Double J was the first to his feet and he laid eyes on the chair DDP had brought into the ring. Jarrett walked over to it and lifted it up, but Page was to his feet and spun Jarrett around, nailing the Diamond Cutter! Page nailed the Diamond Cutter in the center of the ring. DDP leaned into the corner with exhaustion as the referee once again restarted the ten count. 1.. 2.. 3.. 4.. 5.. Jarrett was not moving, still face down from the Diamond Cutter. 6.. 7.. Double J had reached the middle rope and pulled himself up to his knees, much to the dismay of the fans in attendance.
Jarrett grabbed the chair once again, and this time slammed it onto Page’s knee, knocking him down to the mat. Double J continuously cracked the chair over and over again against Page's knee. Jarrett grabbed his leg and locked on the figure four. Page tried to turn it over but Jarrett swung it back over. Page got to the ropes. Jarrett grabbed Page's head and locked on a sleeper, after a few elbow shots Page broke it but Jarrett locked it once again. Dallas Page finally escaped and took down Jarrett with a clothesline-shoulder block type move. Page worked over Jarrett's leg until Jeff was able to roll to the outside and regather himself, Debra handed Jeff the guitar. Jarrett tried his best to stay away from DDP who was now following him up the rampway. Page grabbed ahold of Jeff and tossed him into the set again, Jarrett dropped his 'acoustic equalizer.' Page lifted Jeff up and walked him to the side of the ramp, looking down to the eight foot drop with nothing but concrete below. DDP called for the Diamond Cutter to a huge pop, but Jeff once again hit a low blow. He walked over and grabbed the guitar, and cracked it over Page's head, DDP stumbled backward and once again fell eight feet, this time with no tables to break his fall! With a sickening thud Page's body hit the concrete floor. 1.. 2.. 3.. 4.. 5.. 6.. 7.. 8.. Still absolutely no movement from Page, 9.. 10!

Jarrett had finally done it, lived up to his word and defeated DDP! The EMT's had rushed to Page's aid at the rampside, as Debra joined Jarrett on the top of the ramp. A fatigued Jarrett leaned on Debra, getting his hand raised by the referee to the many in attendance telling Jarrett that he sucked.
With the conclusion of the Albany Main Event, it was now time for the last match of the night, and the camera showed the entire force of Team Canada walking in the back. The World Heavyweight Champion Val Venis lead the charge sproting new red trunks with a white 'V' and Maple Leaf on the sides, Skipper and Storm followed behind him and Major Gunns was waving the Canadian Flag. Cut back to ringside where Scott Hudson and Arn Anderson where once again shown.
Scott Hudson: "Arn Anderson I have goosebumps running up and down my arms, can you believe that the match we've been waiting for is finally here?"
Arn Anderson: "This is the Match of the night, all of the big players are going at it in this one, and remember Shane McMahon has made the World Heavyweight Champion a marked man in this one tonight, whoever is able to pin Val or make him submit will be considered the number one contender to the WCW Title!"
Scott Hudson: "This is the big one, the one with all of the history. I can't guarantee that this rivalry is going to be settled here tonight at the Great American Bash, but I know for sure it's going to explode."
"Don't hate the Player... Hate the Game!" Booker T's music blasted over the public address system and the three man team of the 'Career Killer' Mike Awesome, 'Mr. Pay-Per-View" Rob Van Dam and Booker T all came out to the top of the ramp. Booker Dropped to a knee and then jumped back up to his feet marking a big explosion of flame-like pyro behind the three men. They walked to the ring with the fans support, but the cheers soon turned to booes when Team Canada's music overtook the system.
Val Venis was the first to peak his head through the curtain with the WCW Championship over his shoulder. The out came Storm and Skipper who each stood on the Champion's sides, while major Gunns walked around them proudly waving the Canadian Flag. The camera focused on their three opponents in the ring who anxiously awaited their arrival. Team Canada, always the gentlemen allowed Major Gunns in the ring first so the she could hold the ropes and make it easier for them to get into the ring. They did so, and Venis unstrapped his title before holding it before him making sure that each one of them knew he was the man on top of the company at the moment.
Six Man Tag-Team Elimination Match
Booker T, Rob Van Dam and Mike Awesome versus Val Venis, Lance Storm and Elix Skipper w/ Major Gunns
Here it was, quite possibly the biggest Main Event Match of the new WCW and both sides were looking at each other with nothing less than udder disdain for each other in their eyes. Booker T and Lance Storm started things off with each other and Storm was surprised with the fury of Awesome's attack. He lifted the former US Champion up and slammed him into the corner before nailing an elbow right to the side of his head. Awesome tagged in R-V-D, they seperated Storm and utilized double team maneuvers. Tagging in and out to each other back and fourth. Once again it was Awesome and Storm in the ring, and Mike picked Lance up before slamming him down with a hard sideslam for two!
Storm got to his feet again and slapped Mike Awesome right across the face, Awesome delivered a kick to his gut, and trie to end things prematurely with his finisher. Awesome lifted Storm up for the Awesome Bomb and began charging, but Storm slipped off of his back and landed on his feet, Awesome turned around and Storm went for the Superkick... Awesome grabbed the leg and spun him around before taking him down with a clubbing clothesline. He grabbed Storm's head and went to lift him up, but storm countered and rolled Awesome up into a cradled, and out of the referee's view grabbed ahold of the ropes for the quick pin!
Eliminated: Mike Awesome (p. by Lance Storm)
Rob Van am jumped in to keep things going for his team while Awesome argued his point outside the ring until he was ultimately told to head to the back. Van Dam and Storm exchanged encounters, and after a backbreaker grounded R-V-D Lance Storm tagged in Elix Skipper. The former Cruiserweight Champion hit the ring and lifted R-V-D up to his feet. He used some forearm shivers to get RVD reeling against the ropes, then he went to whip Van Dam into the opposite ropes but it was R-V-D who whipped him, he countered. Skipper springboarded off of the side ropes and took Van Dam down with a magnificently executed hurricanranna! Skipper leaped over and tagged Lance Storm back in. He rushed the ring and dropped an axe handel to the back of Van Dam. R-V-D got back to his feet and Storm whipped him into the ropes, Rob Van Dam shot back and did a weird flip over Storm's back.
Storm turned to face and Van Dam went for a kick that was caught by his opponent but R-V-D was one step ahead and nailed a reverse enziguri! Storm's back hit the mat hard, and R-V-D shot into the opposite set of ropes before nailing the Rolling Thunder and going for the cover. 1.. 2.. kickout from Storm. They got to their feet once again and after a few shots to the head Van Dam's kick was caught by Storm, Lance tripped the other leg knocking Rob to his back then the proud Canadian tried to lock on his Maple Leaf submission hold R-V-D wouldn't allow Storm to turn him and kicked his heel right between his eyes! Storm dropped Van Dam's legs and then came back, RVD hit a spinning hell kick knocking Storm to his back. Then as quick as a cat, Van Dam leaped on to the top rope and then hit his Frog Splash! A beautiful Five Star Frog Splash from R-V-D, cover and he got the three!
Eliminated: Lance Storm (p. by Rob Van Dam)
Val Venis was ticked off beyond belief after having lost the MVP of his team. He stormed into the ring and went to work on R-V-D with clubbing blows to his back. Then Venis hit a knee to the gut of the wrestler formerly known to WCW fans as Robbie V, before sending him into the ropes and locking on a sleeperhold. Van Dam began fading away. The referee raised his arm and it dropped. Once again and to the same effect. Val seemed to be sure it was all she wrote for 'Mr Saturday Night' but the fans rallied behind Van Dam and he fought back to his feet. Elbows to the midesection and R-V-D had broken away, he bounced off of the ropes and took Venis to the mat with a cross body.
Tag to Booker T and the big man came in like a house of fire, knocking down the man that attacked him backstage two weeks ago. Some reddening chops to the chest had Val wishing he was out of the ring, a wish Booker T granted with a hip toss over the top rope. Venis hit his back on the side of the apron on the way down, and just laid on the outside of the ring. Booker followed him out, and went to lift Val up, but Venis grabbed his arm and used all of his weight to whip Booker T into the steel steps knee first! Skipper and Van Dam had began battling it out in the ring, Skipper came off of the ropes landing in hurricanranna position, he performed the move sending both men out to the floor!

WCW Un-leashed Results June 23, 2001
The show kicked off with the regular opening video followed by a pan of the arena and pyro. Scott Hudson and arn Anderson welcomed everyone to the show, and remined us that we were just one day away from the Great american Bash live on Pay Per View! With that Hugh Morrus' music hit and he made his way to the ring.
Hugh Morrus versus Lash Leroux
Man I really do feel sorry for Lash Leroux these days, if he's not jobbing to Cruiserweights he's jobbing to heavyweights that usually job to other heavyweights. To make matters even worse he barely got any offense at all in this one, after a stiff powerbomb from Morrus the big man climbed to the top rope and hit the No Laughing Matter ending the squash. He looked into the camera with a menacing grin as the show went to commercial break.

When the show came back on the air we were treated to a video package from the WCW production team, this one was hyping up the showdown between Conway and Dinsmore and O'Haire and Palumbo. It ended with the two teams staring face to face.

Rob Conway & Nick Dinsmore versus Big Vito & Johnny the Bull
It seems these days that Johnny the Bull and Big Vito are in the same boat as Lash Leroux, when they're on tv it's to put another team over and that;s what they did here, and it was quite a good match. O'Haire and Palumbo made their presence felt after Nick Dinsmore got the win on Big Vito with a bridging Full Nelson Suplex. The Tag Champions hit the ring and the two teams brawled into the commercial break.

When the show returned, a black limo pulled up to the arena and waoted there for a few moments. Then the door opened and Team Canada stepped out. Venis smelled the air, and said that the city made him sick before walking into the building. a

From there clips of Jeff Jarrett's attack on Diamond Dallas Page last week were shown, then the camera panned back to reveal that we where watching a tv monitor that happened to be in Jarrett's locker room. Rob Van Dam versus Chris Kanyon
Holy crap another man in the "Why am I jobbing all the time" boat! Kanyon is probably the most deserving guy to get a push who hasn't. He put on a great match with Van Dam, Lance Storm got involved and tried to help Kanyon but Mike Awesome ran down and chased him away. RVD hit the Five Star Frog Splash to seal the victory.

Buff Bagwell versus Ernest Miller
Oh my god, WCW brought out every wrestler they've been jobbing out for this one, and everyone jobbed! Believe that? Bagwell and the Cat put on a pretty sloppy match that saw Bagwell finish it off with the Blockbuster for the win. After the victory Shawn and Stacy came on the Titan Tron and Stasiak described how he was more of a man than Bagwell, and that was why he was going to win the Title at the Great American Bash. That guy can thank his partnership with Stacy for his success, either that or he's really good at kissing ass.

The US title lost image
Next up the World Heavyweight champion made his way out to the ring without his entourage. Venis told everyone that he was the greatest athlete in the world today and that there was nothing and no one that would disprove that. He said that he and Team Canada have taken out everyone WCW has thrown at them and the Great American Bash will be no different. The fans started chanting Booker T's name and Venis laughed saying he left him where he belonged last week, flat on his back.
EWR Rating: 81%
But that wasn't over, Booker T came out and had a few words with the Champion. He called him yellow and said that he would seal the deal at the Pay Per View and show everyone that Venis was nothing more than a sucka. Venis and Booker T brawled in the ring for a few moments then Storm and Skipper hit the ring. They beat down Booker T until RVD and Lance Storm came in and chased them away. Unleashed ended with the three faces calling on Team Canada,

Speaking of Rob Van Dam, 'Mr. Saturday Night' will be in action at Un-leashed when he steps into the ring with the 'Innovator of Offense,' Chris Kanyon. Team Canada will surely have their sights set on this one.

WCW UNLEASHED! RESULTS 6/16/01results sent in by Wrestleboy8601
Wow, it feels like it has been ages since Unleashed hit the air waves, hard to believe it's only been one week! With just two Unleashed!'s remaining before the Great American Bash how will the company continue to build hype for the event, we're about to find out! Anderson and Hudson were both wearing black gold style t-shirts with the WCW loho on them, here's what they had to say;
SCOTT HUDSON: "Seven Days are all that seperate us from one of the biggest shows of the year, of course I'm talking about the Great American Bash! Hello everyone, alongside the 'Enforcer' Arn Anderson I'm Scott Hudson and welcome to another edition of WCW Unleashed!
ARN ANDERSON: "In tonight's Main Event, part two of Shane McMahon's Great American Bash "Scenario" matches will take place as Rob Van Dam, Booker T and Mike Awesome team up to take on Team Canada's Elix Skipper and Lance Storm."
SCOTT HUDSON: "It's what we could see at the Great American Bash Main Event should Val Venis be eliminated first from the Six Man Tag team Elimination Match, the Toronto Main Event!"
ARN ANDERSON: That's not all Scott, tonight we will see the WCW Cruiserweight Champion Shane Helms in action, and right now I really like our first match of the evening."
SCOTT HUDSON: "It's six man tag-team action, lets head to the ring!"
Buff Bagwell (United States Champion), Rob Conway, and Nick Dinsmore versus Shawn Stasiak (w/Stacy Keibler), Sean O'Haire and Chuck Palumbo (Tag Team Champions)
Bagwell's music played, and the United States Champion came out to the top of the ramp doing his usual pose and pyro display, the smoke cleared and Conway & Dinsmore stepped out. Bagwell slapped hands with his partners for the evening and they headed to the ring. Stasiak and Stacy were next, then the Tag Champions using their own entrance music. The bell rang once both teams were situated, and Rob Conway started things off with Chuck Palumbo. A collar and elbow tie up ensued, Palumbo applied a hammerlock. The swift Conway quickly countered with a hammerlock of his own but Palumbo reached out and grabbed the top rope. The referee called for the break and Palumbo kicked out the knee of Conway.
Chuck sent him into the ropes and landed a reverse back elbow, than applied an arm wringer and worked on his opponent for the next few moments. Palumbo made the tag O'Haire and the Tag Champions did their best to keep him segregated from his partners, O'Haire's power game quickly wore out Conway, and after a powerslam O'Haire recieved a two count. Conway tried to tag out but instead got planted with a scoop slam, and O'Haire went to the top.. the big man lifted off but crashed and burned with the Seanton Bomb as Conway rolled out of the way. Tag to Dinsmore and he came in like a house of fire, knocking O'Haire down with a hard right hand, and Chuck Palumbo and Stasiak as well as they tried to get into the mix. Dinsmore landed a beautiful bridging Full Nelson Suplex on O'Haire, 1, 2.... Palumbo broke the count at the last second, and nailed a Pump Handel Suplex on Dinsmore!
Both men were down in the ring, Bagwell and Conway began stomping and pounding on the apron to get the fans behind them, it worked and the crowd became very loud, Dinsmore finally reached over and tagged out to Buff Bagwell! Bagwell stepped through the ropes at about the time Stasiak reached in and tagged O'Haire, the two men that will fight for the United States Title stared eye to eye in the center of the ring, then Stasiak turned back slightly and brought his fist up to the face of Bagwell! Bagwell blocked the right hand, and nailed some of his own getting Stasiak reeling. Powerslam by Bagwell, and Buff called for the Blockbuster. O'Haire & Palumbo didn't take too kindly to that and they ran into the ring nailing Bawell with stiff shots, Conway and Dinsmore ran in as well, the ref was having a hard time regaining order as Stacy handed the United States Title to Shawn Stasiak. Finally Palumbo and O'Haire rolled out of the ring and Conway and Dinsmore followed after them.
THE FINISH: With the referee still watching on at the happenings outside the ring, Sasiak stalked Bagwell and when the United States champion turned to face he was blasted in the face with his own championship title! Stasiak layed the belt on the mat, then lifted Bagwell up and landed a jumping piledriver on the title! Stasiak tossed the title to Stacy and hooked the leg as the referee finally turned his attention to where it counted, 1, 2, 3!
WINNER(S): @ 9:51 Shawn Stasiak, Sean O'Haire & Chuck Palumbo!
AFTERMATH: Stasiak rolled out of the ring and the referee followed raising his arm as Stacy caught up with him, she seemed very happy. Dinsmore, Ohaire Conway and Palumbo still weren't finished beating the hell out of each other as the show went to commercial break.
NOTES: Stasiak is becomming more and more over as a legitamate threat in WCW, and Stacy gives the overall package a nice touch. Things still aren't settled between Dinsmore & Conway and O'Haire & Palumbo, and I doubt they will be by next Sunday either.
RATING: 63%-57%-70%
When the show returned from commercial break we were taken into the locker-room of Team Canada, the WCW World Heavyweight Champion Val Venis was standing up with the Title over his shoulder pacing back and fourth as both Elix Skipper and Lance Storm sat on the bench.
VAL VENIS: "Three on Two! Three on Two! That's Shane McMahon's big plan tonight, put the two of you in a handicap match against Awesome, Van Dam and Booker T."
LANCE STORM: "It's the typical American in him, he realizes that the Canadian Athlete is by far more superior than any American they can put on the block, so instead of fair competition he must book the greatest athletes in WCW today in matches in which they are outnumbered."
ELIX SKIPPER: "Hell yeah, like last week when you faced Booker T and Mike Awesome, hell we wanted to even the numbers up but we were "banned" from ringside, what's up with that?"
Venis was still pacing the room and looked like he was seriously thinking about something.
VAL VENIS: "But little does Shane McMahon realize, not only are we the best athletes in WCW today, but we're also the smartest. You boys just go out there and do your thing, the Big Valbowski has a little plan for tonight, and Shane McMahon's little "Scenario" will prove to be defective. huh huh ha!"
With that Storm and Skipper looked at each other while Venis continued to laugh and the show went back to the arena.
//EWR RATING: 71%
SCOTT HUDSON: "Welcome back fans, and Arn you have to wonder, what was the Champion talking about having a "plan'"
ARN ANDERSON: "Well Scott it seems Val Venis has something in store for us tonight, or maybe something for Booker T, RVD and Mike Awesome."
SCOTT HUDSON: "I guess we'll have to wait and see... but folks you don't have to wait to see the exciting Cruiserweight action WCW is known for, lets head to the ring as the WCW Cruiserweight Champion is in action!"
Non-Title Match
Kid Romeo versus Shane Helms (Cruiserweight Champion)
Helms came out with the "Sugar Babies" and his awesome entrance package, the fans really love this guy and I'd be surprised if he isn't mixing it up with some of the bigger names in the company within a year. Romeo seems to be lost without his partnership with Skipper, and he quickly hit the ring. As soon as Helms took off the Cruiserweight title they began trading blows and the referee called for the bell. Helms whipped Kid Romeo into the ropes and leap frogged over his head, Romeo fired back and Helms took him down with a japanese arm drag. Back to his feet and running fast Romeo got taken down again, this time Helms kept the arm barred and went for the submission.
Romeo was able to counter and knocked Helms down with a leg sweep, he dropped the legs cross Helms' neck then lifted him up to his feet. Romeo chopped away at the chest of Helms backing him into the corner, he crothed Helms on the top rope and went for the frankensteiner, but Helms held onto the top rope and Romeo crashed to the mat. He got to his feet and Helms delivered a flying cross body for two! Helms backed himself into the corner, and when romeo came at him he got smashed with the Sugar Smack! The fans went wild as Helms screamed "Vertebraker!" but their cheers turned to jeers as Chavo Guerrero jr and Jamie Knoble made their way down the ramp.
THE FINISH: Guerrero and Knoble circled the ring, keeping Helms' attention. Knoble entered the ring first then Chavo and the two began to beatdown the Cruiserweight Champion! The referee called for the bell.
WINNER(S): @ 6:11, by Disqualification, Shane Helms!
AFTERMATH: Chavo and Knoble grabbed Helms and whipped him into the ropes, they bent down and went for a double back-body drop but Helms leaped over them and put on the breaks, Knoble turned around and got caught with a 'Sugar Smack' knocking him off of his feet. Chavo sent a right hand to Helms but it was blocked and Helms fired away at his bitter rival. With Chavo against the ropes Helms stepped back and then charged sending him over the top with a clothesline! Knoble and Guerrero regrouped outside of the ring, both telling Helms that they'll meet at the Great American Bash.
NOTES: Not actually a good match, but served its purpose of progressing the feud between the three, something tells me Chavo and Jamie won't be so buddy-buddy once they realize that at the Great American Bash it's every man for himself.

From there we went to the interview position where Pamela Paulshock was shown standing in a low cut pink top. She brought the microphone to her mouth and energetically began to speak.
PAMELA PAULSHOCK: "Hello fans, Pamela Paulshock here, and standing next to me is the former WCW World Champion, and one of the men that will meet Team Canada at the Great American Bash, Booker T! Booker any thoughts about your big match at the Pay-Per-View?
The camera panned back and revealed that Booker was indeed standing there dressed in his white ring attire. Booker smiled and began to speak.
BOOKER T: "Do I have any thoughts on the P-P-V? Well ya' damn skippy, hippy! Val Venis, ya' chump walkin' around here wit' my title, well that's all gonna come to an end soon I promise ya'! 'Cause sucka at the Great American Bash the Bookerman gots his eyes set on ya', and ya' heard just like I did... Shane McMahon said that the man that pins yo ass in the center of the ring is as good as the numba' one contenda.' Well I will pin ya' ass at the Great American Bash just like I pinned ya' in that ring last week!"
PAMELA PAULSHOCK: "What about your match with Lance Storm and Elix Skipper tonight."
BOOKER T: "Ha! Those two suckas better realize that the little numba' games they been playin' are finally workin against 'em, and Val you say ya' got a little plan, well where was ya' plan last week? Val I'll see yo' ass at the Great American Bash."
Booker walked away and just before Pamela went to talk again he grabbed the microphone.
BOOKER T: "And yo, Team Canada Don't hate the Player.... Hate the Game!"
PAMELA PAULSHOCK: "Well folks, there you have it, back to you Arn and Scott."

When the show returned to the arena, the Jung Dragonz had made their way to the ring, Yang was standing inside of it waiting for his opponent. Then the camera switched backstage where Billy Kidman seemed to be making his way to the entrance position with Rey Misterio jr
BILLY KIDMAN: "Look Rey, I don't need your help tonight, just stay back here!"
Kidman kept walking and the cameras went to the arena once again.
Billy Kidman (1/2 Cruiserweight Tag Team Champion) versus Yang (w/ Leia Meow & Kaz Hayashi)
Kidman's music played marking his entrance and sure enough he came out to the the ring without his partner. Kidman entered the ring and held up his Cruiserweight Tag Title at the Dragons, the two men he and Rey will face at the Great American Bash with the Titles on the line. The belts however aren't up for grabs in this singles contest, and the match started with a tie up but Kidman gouged Yang's eyes rather vicously before kneeing him in the ribs and backing him into the corner. Kidman used some shoulder thrusts before the referee ordered a clean break. Kidman went for a kick but Yang grabbed his leg and tripped him down to the mat, then Yang springboarded off the ropes and connected with a moonsault. 1, 2.... kickout. Kidman was kept grounded by Yang over the next few moments with Hayashi on the outside getting involved at every chance.
THE FINISH: Leia Meow got onto the apron and distracted the referee, Hayashi had threw the Cruiserweight Tag Title into the ring, and Misterio had seen enough he raced down the entrance way and slid into the ring, he tossed Hayashi out of the ring and picked up the Tag Title, Kidman grabbed Rey by the shoulder, and Rey thinking it was Yang turned and blasted him with the Tag Title! Yang drop kicked Rey and sent him to the outside, then with the referee's attention back into the ring Yang went to the top rope and nailed the Yang time for the victory!
WINNER(S): @ 6:21 Yang!
ATERMATH: Yang, Leia and Kaz celebrate in the ring and on the outside Rey can't believe what he just did, Kidman is ticked off beyond belief.
NOTES: these two are definatly on the road to splitsville USA, how can this disfunctional team even think that they could hold onto the Cruiserweight Tag Team titles?
RATING: 67%-41%-93%
From there the cameras went backstage where Sean O'Haire and Chuck Palumbo stood with the WCW Tag Team Titles over their shoulders and smiles on their faces, then the cocky Tag Champions started to talk.
SEAN O'HAIRE: "Rob Conway and Nick Dinsmore, next WCW Tag Team Champions?"
CHUCK PALUMBO: "I think not!"
SEAN O"HAIRE: (sarcastically) "But Chuck, everyone's talking about them! They're sooooo good! I mean they've had like what, two matches and they won one by count out!"
CHUCK PALUMBO: "Oh gee, Sean we'd better just hand these Tag Titles over to them right now, we aren't even in the same league as those two!"
SEAN O'HAIRE: "Ha, ha ha..... that's the talk of all you stupid fools that doubt Palumbo and O'Haire, the best Tag Team on the Planet today... we've ran up and down this roster destroying everyone in our path yet you don't give credit where credit is due and of all people you morons have put your faith behind Rob Conway and Nick Dinsmore?"
CHUCK PALUMBO: "What a joke, maybe just maybe you fans will come to regard us as we truly are, but hey it's no sweat off our backs, and Conway and Dinsmore your fifteen minutes of fame are just about up! We'll see you at the Great American Bash."

Before the show went to commercial break an Irate Diamond Dallas Page was shown storming through the back hallways.
DDP: "JEFF!... JARRETT! Where are you, you no good son of a bitch! Jarrett!"
With Page seemingly in persuit of Double J the show went to commercial break.
//EWR RATING: 83%
SCOTT HUDSON: "Welcome back fans, man DDP looks to be in search of Jeff Jarrett, and after what went down last week I don't blame him."
ARN ANDERSON: "Hey a win is a win, and last week Jarrett beat Page, but DDP has another chance at the Great American Bash in the Last Man Standing Match."
SCOTT HUDSON: "That's the Albany Main Event, and it should be one hell of a show down."
Air Paris (w/ AJ Styles) versus Shannon Moore (w/ Evan Karagias)
Air Raid made theirway to the ring with the sound of jets taking off, WCW could really have come up with something a little bit better don't you think? Hey atleast they got rid of those rediculous Air Force Jump Suits. They came to the ring and Styles patted the shoulders of his partner getting him loosened up for his one on one match. Three Count came out next, Moore raced to the ring, after all these were the guys that cost the duo their Cruiserweight Tag Team titles. Moore quickly started the match off with some shots to the face, Moore whipped Paris into the ropes but it was countered with a flying head scissors. Both men traded spots, Styles kept grabbing the leg of Moore which promted Evan Karagias to get after him.
THE FINISH: Styles, after already hitting Evan Karagias with a chair stood on the apron waiting for Paris to whip Moore into the chair he held, Air Paris went to whip Moore, but Shannon reversed and it was Air Paris that crashed into the chair, Styles fell off of the apron and Moore rolled him up in the shool-boy. 1, 2, 3!
WINNER(S): @ 5:43 Shannon Moore!
NOTES: Your guess is as good as mine as to who is going to win the Tag team Match at the Great American Bash, myself I'm pulling for three Count.
RATING: 70%-45%-95%
From there the cameras went to the backstage area where Diamond Dallas Page was outside of the locker-room that read "Jeff Jarrett". Page burst in the door only to find Debra sitting on a sofa.
DDP: "Where is he!"
DEBRA: (alarmed) "What are you doing in here!"
DDP: "Where's Jarrett!"
All of a Sudden a voice from behind DDP yelled "You looking for me old timer!?" That Page turned around and CRASH! Jarrett's acoustic Guitar smashed over the skull of Diamond Dallas Page knocking him to the floor of the locker-room.
JEFF JARRETT: "Come on Debra! And you! I'll see your old ass at the Great American Bash!"
With that Jarrett and Debra left the locker-room with DDP lying on the floor!
//EWR RATING: 59%
SCOTT HUDSON: "Can you believe that Arn Anderson?"
ARN ANDERSON: "Well it's like they always say, ask and you shall recieve. Page asked for Jarrett and recieved a guitar shot to the head."
SCOTT HUDSON: "Folks, stay tuned, the Main Event is next!"
"Shane's Scenario" Handicap Match-up
Elix Skipper & Lance Storm (w/ Major Gunns) vs Booker T, Rob Van Dam, & Mike Awesome
Elix Skipper and Lance Storm were out first, followed by Mike Awesome and Rob Van Dam. Booker T's music played but he didn't come out. It played up once again, and still no Booker T, then suddenly the cameras went to the backstage area where Booker T was shown face down on the concret floor, someone had attacked him! EMTs were checking on him backstage, then the cameras went back to the arena and Val Venis was shown walking down the ramp with a smile on his face, had he done it?
Venis took a seat by the announcers, and the match was decided to start anyway, now as a regular two on two Tag Team Match-up. Storm and Awesome started things off, hard to believe that a couple months ago Awesome and Storm were the best of friends and challenging for the Tag Titles. Awesome connects with a huge backbreaker, and keeps the pressure appled but Storm reaches out and grabs the ropes.
Awesome and R-V-D utilized quick tags to keep the pace of the match going. Van Dam went for the rolling thunder on Storm but he got his knees up, and tagged out to Elix Skipper. Skipper springboarded into the ring and landed a legdrop across the neck, cover for two. R-V-D tagged out to Awesome, and the big man hit the ring using his size and power for the advantage. Awesome landed a running Awesome Bomb on Elix but Storm was there to break the count. Storm tagged himself back in and took it to Awesome kicking out his knee and forcing him to tag out. R-V-D and Storm wrestled back and fourth exchanging holds.
THE FINISH: R-V-D went for the Hurricanranna, but Storm countered with the Canadian Maple Leaf! Van Dam was caught in the center of the ring, but still tried with all of his heart to get to the ropes, just as he was about there Storm dragged him away and reapplied pressure forcing R-V-D to submit!
WINNER(S): @ 12:11 Lance Storm & Elix Skipper!
AFTERMATH: Storm and Skipper celebrate on the outside, and are soon joined by the Heavyweight Champion. Team Canada is victorious, Awesome checks on R-V-D in the ring and looks dissappointed as Unleashed! leaves the air.
NOTES: The match itself was all over the place, nothing great. I thought for sure we were going to see Booker make a surprise comeback but that didn't happen. The heels won the match fair and square, makes you wonder what team will win at the Bash, and just how much of an important role Booker T plays on his team.

I just got the message that the banners for NWA:JCP couldn't be reached in the other message I posted so you can find them here:
Once again great backstories, I can't wait to see NWA:AA and MC get theirs up
-
I really liked the backstory for NWA: New Wave, it was very detailed, and gave a good feel of what the promotion is about, to me this is the promotion with the most "Indy" feel to it, and it'll be cool to see how you build the guys on your roster, can't wait for the shows to start.
-
Looking very, very nice guys loving the backstories for each promotion and with the addition of Syco's opening this diary really is solid. I made banners for both NWA: New Wave, and Jim Crockett Promotions (NWA: Florida seems to have their own.)
*EDIT* you can find them here:
-
Nice job promoting the roster depth of the Promotion Caucasian Heat, really liked how you spelled out the title scene, Morley with a fair shot at the Main Event, I love it.
I like the establishment of the executive commitee as well, adds a sense of order and tradition to the promotion, I'm very interested in the way you take NWA:CS, you could go alot of different ways. Good luck with it, can't wait to see what the others get up.
-
^^^I understand it's not about the feedback, but after spending 4 hours or so on Destination X I just wanted a little, I understand it was a bad idea, and I fully take all responsibilty, lesson learned. Back to diary related stuff, Impact! is about half done and should be up tomorrow sometime.

What you didn't see at Destination X, Trytan in the dog house, more.....
After the show left the air Director of Authority Dusty Rhodes came down to the ring and shook Diamond Dallas Page's hand and congratulated him on his victory, and also congratulated B.G. James for "making the right decision." Rhodes also put in a plug for TNA's next Monthly Pay Per View, an event dubbed "Lock Down."
Many sources backstage were said to overhear Trytan arguing with some of the Road Agents over how quick his match at the Pay Per View was. If you didn't already know Trytan wrestled Monty Brown, and the Alpha Male pinned him in a little over two minutes, and Tryan wasn't very happy about losing his hyped Pay-Per-View debut in that manner. Trytan has been said to have a negative attitude in the backstage anyway, and this altercation won't help his status in the locker room at all.
TNA Releases Lockdown Poster, Workers sign written contracts, more.....
TNA.com launched a section of their site devoted to the Lock Down Pay Per View, and on the page is the following graphic featuring the Three Live Kru and the show's logo.
It is believed that TNA will play off of the show's name as far as booking goes, possibly bringing back the Six Sides of Steel Match for the Event.
Michael Shane, Abyss, Petey Williams, and Bobby Roode were believed to have inked written deals with TNA over the weekend. All four of the men had previously been under open contract but as TNA grows, it feels that more workers under written contract would better suit the promotion. It is believed that AJ Styles, Chris Harris, James Storm, Jeff Hardy, and Raven are also under written contract with the promotion.

I should have an Impact! preview up shortly, if not the actual show. I will also calculate the winner of the prediction contest shortly

The cameras changed their attention to the Ultimate X setup in the ring, and the X Division Championship suspended 15 foot above it.Then the cameras diverted attention back to the entrance where "Ooh ooh Michael" was heard, then Michael Shane's music played and the cocky blood relative of the 'Heartbreak Kid' Shawn Michaels danced out onto stage.
Jeremy Borash: "Ladies and gentlemen the following contest is the Ultimate X Challenge and it is for the Total Nonstop Action Wrestling X Division Championship. Making his way to the ring first, this is Michael Shane!"
Shane spun around in the ring and posed. then the cameras returned to the entrance where the 'Fallen Angel' Christopher Daniels then made his entrance dressed in his red and black cloak.
Jeremy Borash: "And now entering the ring, for the first fall of this match he will be serving as Michael Shane's partner... he is the 'Fallen Angel' Christopher Daniels!"
Daniels climbed into the ring, and posed in the corner before removing his cloak. Chris Sabin's music played next and he made his way out.
Jeremy Borash: "And now entering the ring, he is the 'Furture' Chris Sabin!"
Sabin took one of the corners and posed with his hands raised high in the air, the final music hit marking the entrance of the last man in this matchup.
Jeremy Borash: "And his partner, from Gainesville Georgia he is the current reigning and defending X Division Champion of the World he is the 'Phenomenal' AJ STYLES!"
The crowd literally errupted with Styles entrance and the X Division Champion spread his arms and with the jerk of his head his hood flew down and sparks shot up. AJ marched to the ring while the three other competitors in the ring, each one wanting his X Division Title suspended above the ring looked on.
Ultimate X Challenge Match
for the TNA X Division Title
'Phenomenal' AJ Styles© vs 'the Future' Chris Sabin vs 'Fallen Angel' Christopher Daniels vs Michael Shane
Once Styles got settled, all four men looked at the X Division Title suspended above them, then it was decided that Michael Shane and Chris Sabin would start things off for each team. The two men locked up, and Sabin was able after a few moments to push forward and send Michael Shane back first into the corner. The referee called for a clean break and Sabin went to do so, but Shane reached up and poked the 'Future' right in the eye.
Andrew Thomas told Shane to play by the rules but he just stuck his hand in the ref's face. Shane lifted Sabin up and hit a vertical Suplex, then dragged him over to enemy territory and tagged in the 'Fallen Angel.' Daniels began stomping at the leg of Sabin. He lifted chris up and sent him to the rope, Sabin repelled back and leap frogged over Daniels, back off the ropes, Daniels dropped down to the mat and Sabin hurdled him, he came back once more and connected with a beautiful flying head scissors the sent Daniels awkwardly crashing into the ropes.
Sabin then tagged in the X Division Champion and AJ came running in nearly taking off Daniels head with a drokick while the 'Fallen Angel' was still in seated position. AJ made the cover but only got a two count. The two men that battled in the epic Iron Man match at last month's Against All Odds put on a showing reversing each other's holds. Daniels went for the Angel Wings on AJ, but Styles countered with a bridge... 1, 2... Michael shane broke up the count saving Chris. Shane went back to his corner and Daniels tagged him in.
At the same time AJ made the tag to Sabin. Michael Shane and chris Sabin lit thengs up, Sabin nailed a tilt a whirl slam then climbed to the top rope. Michael shane was just getting to his feet and Sabin leaped off of the top rope, just as he came down Michael Shane lifted his foot and connected to Sabin's jaw with the Sweet Shane Music superkick, nearly decapitating him while he was still in the air! Michael shane made the cover and scored with the three count!
ELIMINATED: Chris Sabin (by Michael Shane @ 10:11)
With Sabin's elimination the match immeadiatly went to Triple Threat rules, and the 'Future' was ordered to head to the back once regaining consciousness. AJ and Christopher Daniels entered the ring and the three men stared each other down, and sized each other up. Then Shane and Daniels smiled, and began double teaming the X Division Champion with hard shots to the face. They had AJ against the ropes and sent him sailing with an irish whip. Upon return AJ leaped into the air and took both men down with a double clothesline of his own!
Styles grabbed Shane by the back of his head lifted him up then tossed him over the ropes and to the outside of the ring. Styles then turned his attention to Daniels and lifted him to his feet. AJ hit the Fallen Angel with some European uppercuts, then AJ headed for the ropes and did a springboard backflip, grabbing Daniels head on the way down and nailing a reverse DDT! AJ made the cover but Michael Shane managed to break the count in the knick of time! Shane lifted Styles up with a hand full of AJ's hair and with the other hand he grabbed AJ's tights and whipped him head first into the steel ring post!
Daniels was getting to his feet so Michael went over and began stomping away. He lifted Daniels to his feet and connected with an atomic drop followed by a clothesline. The Shane began tapping his elbow and climbed to the top he went for his elbow drop, but Daniels rolled out of the way and shane crashed & burned. Daniels got to his feet but was immeadiatly cut off by Styles who clotheslined him over the top rope and out to the floor. AJ then waited until Daniels was about to get to his feet and ran the ropes, before leaping up and springboarding to the outside taking Deniels down. Both men crashed into the barricade on the outside.
That however did not stop Michael Shane from trying to show Styles up however, as both men got to their feet on the outside Shane climbed to the top rope and did a moonsault to the outside taking both Styles and Daniels out once again. Shane rolled AJ into the ring, then went to the corner and began tapping his foot on the mat calling for some Sweet Shane Music, AJ finally got up and Shane nailed the superkick!... well he would have if AJ wouldn't have ducked it. As soon as shane turned around Styles used a kick to the midesction to set it up, then landed the Styles Clash! AJ made the cover and pinned Michael Shane!
ELIMINATED: Michael Shane (by AJ Styles @ 22:11)
AJ scored the victory in the second fall and with that it meant that Ultimate X rules now applied in the match. Daniels was still on the outside of the ring so Styles, ever the opportunist climbed to the top rope then reached up and began to scale the cables. the 'Fallen angel' saw this and quickly climbed a turnbuckle as well both men reached the center of the cables and bgan kicking each other with their feet. AJ reached for the X Title but Daniels kicked out his other hand and the X Champion fell to the canvas. Daniels couldn't quite get to the title either as his grip weakened and he too fell to the mat.
AJ was up first and got Daniels to his feet. He whipped him into the corner turnbuckle. Styles mounted Daniels in the corner and delivered a ten count series of punches to the face, the fans counting with each one but the Fallen Angel grabbed Styles legs, walked out of the corner and fell backwards forcing AJ's face into the top turnbuckle.
Daniels saw this as another opportunity to go for the X Title suspended above the ring and began scaling the wires, but Styles jumped up and frabbed Daniels legs eventually forcing him to fall to the mat. The conclusion to this epic battle came when both men were in the center of the wires, AJ put his legs on Daniels shoulders in what looked like an attempt at a hurricanranna, but Daniels countered on the way down nailing AJ with his own finishing move, the Styles Clash! AJ was out of it and Daniels scaled the wires once more this time grabbing the championship, and finally winning a title he'd been wanting for over two years.

Don West: "What and amazing match! All four of the men involved, that was superb!"
Mike Tenay: "Folks I am recieving word that our broadcast colleague Shane Douglas is standing by with the 'Charismatic enigma' Jeff Hardy. Take it away Shane."
A Match well suited for the Enigma?
When the cameras switched to the interview position Shane Douglas was standing next to a painted up Jeff Hardy who was bouncing around.
Shane Douglas: "Thank you Mike, and that is right I am standing by with the man known here in TNA as the 'Charismatic Enigma' of course I am talking about Jeff Hardy. Now Jeff tonight you find yourself in a match where falls count anywhere in Universal studios! That means that you can use any weapon in this park to your advantage, an advantage you may very well need against the monster Abyss."
Jeff Hardy: "You know Shane Douglas all week long I've been hearing that this is a match well suited for me, a match where anything goes and high risks are well rewarded. Well Shane Douglas tonight I once again find myself facing Abyss, the man I should have beaten last month to claim the shot he has at the NWA Title! What was the deal with two envelopes anyways? (Douglas just shrugged his shoulders with the innocent bystander look on his face.) Look, all I've gotta say is this; Abyss get your big ass ready 'cause I'm coming for ya!"
Hardy walked away leaving Douglas at the interview set.
Shane Douglas: "Back to you in the arena Mike and Don!"
When the cameras returned to the arena Mike Tenay and Don west thanked Shane Douglas, in the mean time the Naturals with Chris Candido had already made their way to the six sided ring.
Jeremy Borash: "Ladies and gentlemen the following speacial challenge match is scheduled for one fall, and it is for the NWA World Tag Team Championship. Already in the ring being accompanied by Chris Candido, the challengers Andy Douglas and Chase Stevens, the Naturals!"
AMW's music played next, and the Tag Team Champions came out to an amazing approval from the fans.
Jeremy Borash: "Andnow entering the ring they are the NWA Tag Team Champions, Cowboy James Storm and Wildcat Chris Harris... this is AMERICAS MOST WANTED!"
NWA Tag Team Championship Match
The Naturals (w/ Chris Candido) vs America's Most Wanted©
This match came about earlier on in the night when Candido set out the challenge to AMW. Chris Harris and Chase Stevens started things off for their teams, a lockup ensued and Harris applied a headlock that was later countered by Stevens. Harris fired off of the ropes and nailed a Hart attack. Storm and Harris made some back and fourth tags throughout the match.
Douglas tagged himself in for his team and went to to toe with James Storm. Storm took him down with a Superkick and called for the death sentence and made the notion for Chris Harris to ready himself, but Chris Candido had grabbed one of the NWA Tag Team Titles and handed it to Chase Stevens who charged the ring nailing James Storm and then knocking Chris Harris off of the top rope and to the floor with the 12 lbs of gold! The referee called for the bell.

Candido slid into the ring with the other Tag Title belt and handed it to Andy douglas (Stevens had the other) The Naturals and Candido stood with their arms raised and holding the NWA Tag Titles having sent a message to AMW here tonight.
They went to a video package next showing how the matchup came about between Kevin Nash and the Outlaw. Outlaw's arrival at Against All Odds was shown as well as their run ins in the weeks leading up to tonight.
Outlaw was the first to make his entrance to the ring, this being the very first time he had stepped in it for action. Borash made his announcement, then it was time for Nash. The fans were in no doubt behind the big man tonight.
No Disqualification Match
the Outlaw vs Kevin Nash
Nash stormed to the ring and slid in, the Outlaw was ready and the two men immeadiatly began trading punches. this match looked more like a street fight than anything at all resembling a wrestling match. Nash hit a side slam on Outlaw, and when they were in the corner he delivered his trademark elbows to the head and choked Outlaw out with his boot.
The Outlaw regained the advantage with a chair shot on the outside of the ring. Outlaw and Nash battled into the stands and back. Nash's face was bloodied with another steel chair shot by the Outlaw, and about this time Nash's ally Sean Waltman walked toward the ring.
Nash battled back and nailed a big boot to the face of the Outlaw. He controlled the match for the next moments, and after nailing another big boot Nash nailed the Jacknife Powerbomb on the Outlaw!
Nash had nailed the Jacknife Powerbomb on the Outlaw, a sure match ending move and made the cover. 1, 2....... Sean Waltman pulled the referee out of the ring! Kevin Nash looked shocked, Waltman smashed the referee into the steel steps.
The man that came to Nash's aid last month against the Outlaw's heinous attack at Against all Odds had just turned his back on his friend. Nash rolled out of the ring and went after Waltman, the Outlaw picked up a chair that was brought into the match earlier on, Waltman rolled into the ring and so did Nash who was folling chase to Sean Waltman, BAM! the superstar formerly known as Billy Gunn blasted Nash with the Steel Chair!
the Outlaw set the chair up in the corner and lifted Nash into position, Waltman climbed up to the second turnbuckle and the two men nailed a Spike Piledriver on 'Big Sexy!' the referee had regained his composure and came back into the ring for the count, 1, 2, 3!

Jeremy Borash: "Ladies and gentlemen the following contest is a fall counts anywhere in Universal Studios Match! Entering the ring at this time, from Cameron North Carolina he is 'the Charismatic Enigma' JEFF HARDY!"
Hardy came dancing out to the entrance way with the weird technicolored lights and body paint, but before he could even make it to the ring Abyss stormed out from the back and immeadiatly started his attack on Jeff Hardy!

'the Monster' Abyss vs 'the Charismatic Enigma' Jeff Hardy
Abyss threw him into the barricade then lifted Hardy up and charged, slamming him backfirst into the ring post and dropping him on the floor! The match hadn't officially started since neither man had entered the ring. Abyss lifted Hardy up and proceeded to throw him back into the barricade, then smashed his back into the ring apron! The masked monster then rolled Hardy into the ring.
Abyss took his time entering the six sided structure, a move that cost him as Hardy got to his feet and dropkicked Abyss in the face, knocking him to the arena floor. Hardy then slingshotted over the top rope and took the monster off of his feet again. Hardy grabbed a steel chair and began cracking him over the head again and again.
Their battle waged on up the rampway and they dissapeared for a few moments when the cameras caught up to them again the two men were on one of the rides in Universal Studios, it looked like a boat. Abiss was slamming Hardy all over the seats and the isle of the park ride, in the water a huge dorsal fin was moving around. Hardy kicked Abyss in the head, and at that time JAWS popped out of the water, Abyss stumbled backward and fell off the boat into the water! A few moments later he clawed his way back onto the boat only to get kicked in the head by Hardy. The ride came to and end and the cameras lost track of the two men again.
When they caught up to the 6, 8 monster and Hardy they were in the Nickelodeon Studio. Abyss threw Hardy into the seats, and Hardy pulled himself up and moved away from the enraged masked opponent. Hardy climbed on to the top of one of the structures in the studio and leaped off taking Abyss completely out. He covered but only got a two count.
Abyss headbutted Jeff sending him backwards and against one of the chairs set up for the Nick studios show. There was a leaver next to it and Hardy pulled it releasing Orange slime from the ceiling that covered both men. Abyss slipped and fell and Hardy capitalized mounting him and pounding him in the face. Hardy then got up and walked out of the door Abyss got to his feet and followed him.
They were now in the parking lot and once Abyss got ahold of Jeff Hardy he sent him into one of the cars in the parking lot. Hardy grabbed Abyss by the head and slammed it into the car window, putting a crack in it and knocking Abyss to the ground. Jeff climbed on top of the car and legdropped Abyss, another cover and only a two.
Abyss controlled the match for the next few moments, and they battled their way back into Sounstage 21. They fought in the crowd, a man threw Hardy a steel chair but abyss punched it right into Jeff's face! Abyss covered Hardy but Jeff kicked out at two.
Hardy jumped over the barricade and rolled back into the ring, Abyss followed suit. Hardy went for the Twist of Fate, but Abyss reversed it and lifted him onto his shoulders, SHOCK TREATMENT! Abyss nailed the Shock treatment backbreaker! cover, 1, 2.........Hardy kicked out!
The fans cheered wildly as Abyss couldn't believe Hardy kicked out, Abyss lifted Hardy back to his feet and lifted him back up for another Shock Treatment but Hardy rolled off of the back and took the 6'8" monster over in a rollup for the three count!

Jeff quickly rolled out of the ring, still covered in the Orange Slim. The referee raised his arm, and he had just beaten a man with a title shot yet to be had in the future. Abyss was kicking the ropes and punching the turnbuckles in the ring!
Don West: "Mike Tenay, I cannot believe what we witnessed in that match, truly unlike anything I have ever seen before."
Mike Tenay: "Just goes to show that you can expect nothing but the unexpected in TNA Wrestling Don. But folks it is now time for the match everyone has been waiting, it's the King of the Mountain Jeff Jarrett taking on Diamond Dallas Page. Will we see a new Champion here tonight Don?"
Don West: "It's time we find out."
"Do the Damn Thing!" was heard over the speakers and the cameras switched to the entrance once again where the Special Ringside Enforcers for the nights main event, the Three Live Kru danced out from behind the curtain.
Jeremy Borash: "Ladies and gentlemen the following contest is scheduled for one falll and it is for the National Wrestling alliance Heavyweight Championship of the World! Making their way out to the ring, they are the special ringside enforcers for tonights contest. They are B.G. James, Konnan and Ron 'the Truth' Killings the THREE LIVE KRU!"
Once they took their spots around the six sided ring, "It's Me, it's DDP!" was proclaimed over the loudspeaker marking the entrance of the challenger for tonight's contest.
Jeremy Borash: "Making his way to the ring at this time, from the Jersey Shore he is the challenger this is... DIAMOND DALLAS PAGE!"
DDP made his entrance through the crowd something that has become a bit of his trademark, once in the ring he flashed his trademark Diamond Cutter sign before taking off his vest.
Jarrett's music was next and the champion came out to the top of the ramp, only he was not alone... the Outlaw was accompanying him. Jarrett had his guitar in his hand and raised it up to a shower of pyro.
Jeremy Borash: "And now making his arrival to the ring, from Tennesee he is the reigning and defending NWA Heavyweight Champion of the World... he is the 'King of the Mountain" JEFF JARRETT!"
Jarrett entered the ring and the 3LK stared the Outlaw down from the opposite side of the ring. Jarrett posed in one of the corners, then took off his jacket. He handed the NWA Title to Rudy Charles and pointed at the belt as the ref raised it in the air, then at Page.

'King of the Mountain' Jeff Jarrett© (w/ the Outlaw) vs Diamond Dallas Page
The match started out with a feeling out sort of process, both men circled each other and then finally the lockup. Jarrett managed to back Page into the corner and when the ref ordered a clean break he instead began vicously chopping away at Page's chest, DDP however gabbed Jeff and threw him into the corner. DDP then gave Jarrett a chop of his own, he didn't quite prefer chops to punches so he began pounding the Champion with hard rights and lefts in the corner. DDP backed out of the corner and Jarrett stumbled out an easy target for Page to hit with a hard clothesline! Page made the cover but Jarrett kicked out at two.
DDP went to lift Jarrett to his feet but Jeff rolled him up waith an inside Cradle for two. DDP got to his feet and Jarrett slapped his chest hard, again and again! Jarrett then ran off the ropes and sent Page to the mat with a running knee hit. Jarrett dropped a knee to the head and made another cover for two. Jarrett lifted Page up and sent him into the ropes then locked Dallas into a sleeper hold. DDP soon began to fades just about a foot to the ropes.
After a few moments Page had seemingly faded away, Rudy Charles lifted his arm and it fell. Once again and it fell! One more and Page would have been out, but the fans cheered him on and Page somehow managed to get to his feet and break the hold! Then Page ran off of the ropes but the Outlaw grabbed his legs! Jarrett then ran at him and clotheslined him to the mat! The 3LK came running at the Outlaw who in turn ran to the outside of the ring.
The match waged on with both men in control over periods of time, Jarrett went for the Stroke bu it was countered by Page who hit the Diamond Cutter he made the cover but Sean Waltman once again made an appearance running down to the ring and pulling Rudy charles to the outside! the Kru charged at Outlaw and Waltman on the outside.
All hell had broken loose as Konnan and Ron Killings are battling the Outlaw and Waltman at the top of the entrance ramp. With referee Rudy Charles still unconscious and lying on the mat, DDP got to his feet and flashed the Diamond Cutter sign once again bringing the fans to their feet. Page stalked Jarrett as the Champion got to his feet, but then all of a sudden DDP was grabbed from behind by a chair holding BG James!
Jarrett smiled and raised his hands in the air as BG James shoved DDP backwards and raised the chair over his head.
Mike Tenay: "I cannot belive this, this is what the Outlaw and James were talking about, this is Jarrett's plan, he had this set from the very beginning."
James got ready to clobber DDP With the chair, a sure match ending experience, then James swung...... but turned to the left and crashed the chair over Jeff Jarrett's head! Jarrett crumbled to the mat in a heap, and as James threw the chair to a side and started screaming in Jarrett's face the arena was literally exploding! James revived referee Rudy Charles and DDP lifted Jarrett back to his feet before hitting the Diamond Cutter! B.G. rolled outside of the ring to ensure that no one got in and DDP made the cover 1.....2....3! The Destination X logo stayed on the screen until we went live to the arena where a light show was going on at the stage and the 10,000 plus fans in the arena proudly showed and voiced their support from there the cameras immeadiatly went to Mike Tenay and Don West at ringside.
Mike Tenay: "Ladies and gentlemen, for TNA Wrestling I'm Mike Tenay and joining me as usual is Don West, and thank you for joining us! We are live from Soundstage 21 here in Universal Studios, Orlando and fans get ready for the action that only Total Nonstop Action can give you here tonight at Destination X!"
Don West: "Wow Mike, you aren't kidding! We have an epic show lined up for everyone here tonight, I can already tell Destination X is going to be huge!"
Mike Tenay: "Right you are Don, and what about one of tonight's huge matches. And when I say huge match, I truly mean it! It's not going to get much more exciting than tonight's Ultimate X Challenge Don."
Don West: "Four of the most incredible athletes today battle for the X Division Title in a triathalon type match here tonight! The match starts off as a tag team match, and the superstar that is pinned heads to the locker room. From there we go to Triple Threat rules and the loser of that fall heads to the back and when we have the final two men, that's when the Ultimate X Match comes into play, the first man to scale the cables and grab the title will be TNA's X Champion... That's going to be spectacular Mike Tenay!"
Mike Tenay: "It's sure to be a match fans of TNA Wrestling will not want to miss, same goes for tonight's Falls Count Anywhere Match between Jeff Hardy and Abyss, the No Disqualifiction Match between the Outlaw and Kevin Nash! But Don, it doesn't get any bigger than tonight's Main Event! It's the NWA World's Heavyweight Champion Jeff Jarrett defending his title against Diamond Dallas Page!"
Don West: "Jeff Jarrett and the Outlaw claim they have a plan that will play out in their favor here tonight, something tells me the Champion has a trick up his sleeve, and it doesn't sound good for DDP!"
Mike Tenay: "Jarrett has beaten many opponents in TNA, but Dusty Rhodes the TNA Director of Authority truly feels DDP will be the man to beat him. Will Dallas overcome the odds like he has done so many times in the past, and will we see a new NWA World's Heavyweight Champion here tonight Don?"
Don West: "Tonight we will get all of the answers to our questions Mike Tenay, but now it's time to start the action as we head to Jeremy Borash in the center of the ring!"
The cameras switched to the Six Sided Ring where Borash was indeed standing and a brief pause ensued before the "Alpha Male's" music hit, and Monty Brown came sniffing out to the top of the entrance way.
Jeremy Borash: "Ladies and gentlemen the following contest is scheduled for one fall, making his way to the ring at this time, he is the "Alpha Male" MONTY BROWN!"
Brown took his time getting into the ring, but once he did he tossed off his jacket and posed in one of the corners. The lights then dimmed and a weird light show began as Trytan made his entrance. The fans really didn't look like they knew quite how to take the man.
Jeremy Borash: "And from parts unknown making his in ring debut here tonight at Destination X, this is TRYTAN!"
Trytan climbed into the ring and the lights returned to their normal appearance. Monty Brown kept his eyes on his mysterious opponent who in turn took off his entrance attire.

'Alpha Male' Monty Brown versus Trytan
The bell rang and the two men circled each other, Brown looked like he couldn't quite take the man standing before him. The two superstars locked up and the former NFL football player immeadiatly showed the mysterious Trytan that Power was his game. Brown shoved Trytan, then grabbed him by the throat and leg before pressing him up into the air and slamming him down to the canvas. Trytan got back to his feet but Brown charged and sent him back to the mat with a clothesline. Two more times and we witnessed the same thing, Brown then lifted Trytan back to his feet and sent him into the corner.
Monty charged Trytan, but Trytan was able to get the foot up and Brown caught nothing but a foot to his face. Trytan climbed to the second rope and brought Brown to a knee with an axe handel smash. Trytan whipped Brown into the furthest set of ropes but it proved to be a costly mistake as Brown charged back and connected with the POUNCE!!! Brown obliterated trytan with the move, and immeadiatly made the cover getting the quick victory!

Brown had his hand raised and he celebrated with some poses on the corner turnbuckle for the fans from there things went to Mike Tenay and Don West at ringside.
Mike Tenay: "Monty Brown with a rather convincing win over Trytan as we kick things off here at Destination X, Don West."
Don West: "Brown was very impressive here tonight Mike Tenay, there's no doubt about that!"
Mike Tenay: "Folks from here let's take you backstage where our broadcast colleague the 'Franchise' Shane Douglas is standing by with the NWA World Tag Team Champions, America's Most Wanted. Take it away Shane!"
A night off? Think again.....
The scene switched to the interview position where Shane Douglas was indeed standing by with AMW. Storm and Harris had the Tag Titles over their shoulders, and their long Jackets on.
Shane Douglas: "Thanks Mike, I'm standing by here with the NWA Tag Team Champions AMW, James Storm and Chris Harris. Now boys, tonight you don't find yourselves in action, what do you feel about that."
Chris Harris: "Well you know Shane Douglas, these past few months AMW has gone through some pretty tough teams, I mean we've been through Triple X, Hoyt and Kash, we've taken out the best TNA had to offer, and tonight there just wasn't anyone else for us to beat."
Shane Douglas: "Some pretty bold statements Chris Harris, now"........
Suddenly the interview was interrupted as Chris Candido and the Naturals, (Andy Douglas and Chase Stevens) came up and into the picture.
Chris Candido: "Man, oh man! I couldn't help but overhear Chris Harris saying that AMW no longer had any competition in T-N-A!"
James Storm: "That's right, he said it!"
Candido smirked and looked to Andy Douglas and Chase Stevens then back at AMW and Shane Douglas.
Chris Candido: "Well, since your so confident there's no longer a challenge around here, why don't you two put those belts on the line tonight against the Naturals, I mean what's going to happen you don't have any competition right?"
Harris and Storm looked at each other, thinking it over then looked back at the Naturals.
Chris Harris: "You two want a shot at the titles and AMW here tonight, well then you've got it! But boys when it's all over don't come blaming AMW.... Blame your damn luck!"
Candido and the Naturals stared AMW down, then both teams walked off.
Shane Douglas: "Back to you Mike and Don."
Once again the Pay-Per-View returned to the arena where Dustin Rhodes' music began to play and he came out holding the bullrop that would be used for this matchup.
Jeremy Borash: "Ladies and gentlemen the following contest is a bullrope match! The rules of this contest are as follows, each man will be joined at the wrist by a singles rope ensuring that no one man can get away from the other for the duration of this matchup! The first man to score pinfall or submission will win the match. Making his way to the ring at this time, the 'American Nightmare' Dustin Rhodes!"
Rhodes entered the ring to "USA!" chants, and he handed the bullrope to referee Rudy Charles before posing on one of the turnbuckles. Raven's music cued next and he made his trademark entrance out to the top of the ramp with his arms spread and "DESTINY" written across his chest.
Jeremy Borash: "And his opponent, from the Bowelry this is RAVEN!"
Raven made a slow and methodical entrance into the six sided ring, once inside he took off his jacket and stared at Rhodes across the ring. they met up in the middle and Rudy charles began to join them by the rope.
Bull Rope Match
Raven versus Dustin Rhodes
Once the two men were tied at the wrists with the Rope Rudy Charles called for the bell. The two ring warriors exchanged some trash talking before Rhodes, finally having enough, hauled off and landed a blistering shot to the face of Raven. Raven followed it up with a shot of his own, and they began to trade blows back and fourth. Rhodes backed Raven into one of the corners with his shots to the face, then he pulled the bull rope tight and lunged forward sending Raven up and crashing to the mat with a hip toss like maneuver.
With Raven on the mat Rhodes quickly grabbed ahold of the rope once more this time putting it across the neck of his opponent. Rhodes choked Raven mercilessly as Rudy Charles warned him to stop. Finally he did, and pulled Raven back to his feet. Rhodes connected with a knee to the midsection, then took Raven down with a back suplex.
Rhodes was seemingly a man on a mission, enraged by Raven's attack on his friend Cassidy Riley a week ago on Impact! Rhodes tugged on Raven's leg, and rolled out of the ring. He pulled the leg of Raven until the ring post was between both of Raven's legs. Then like a man posessed he grabbed it and threw Raven's leg until it smacked hard against the steel ring post!
Rhodes slid back into the ring and went for the cover. 1, 2, kickout by Raven. It had been all Dustin Rhodes thus far, that was until he went to pick Raven up by the hair of the head. Raven landed a low blow and followed it up with a reverse ddt on the 'American Nightmare.' Raven took a few moments to catch his wind as he sat with his back against the corner turnbuckle.
Raven soon began to work on Dustin’s legs, dropping his knees into Dustin's in an effort to ground his opponent. Raven kept an ankle hold applied but Rhodes managed to make it to the ropes.
Raven pulled Dustin to his feet and whipped him into the ropes, Rhodes held onto the top rope and put on the breaks, but Raven steamrolled him with a clothesline that knocked Dustin over the top rope, and to the floor... almost. The bull rope had gotten tangles around Rhodes neck, and now he was literally hanged over the top rope. Raven was pulling back on the bull rope as hard as he could and Rhodes was turning purple. Referee Rudy Charles counted to five and raven still wouldn't let go, and he called for the bell!

Raven had seemingly snapped, and would not let go of the rope. Secuirity teams came running down to the ring, about four men in black shirts they broke Raven's grip and Rhodes finally was able to touch the outside floor and try to gain his breath. Raven untied the rope from his wrist and fought the Secuirity team, Raven Effect after Raven Effect until there wasn't one left standing.
Then he rolled out of the ring and grabbed a steel chair from the fan section. He rolled back into the ring and set it up, dead center of the six sided ring. Rhodes was on the outside, still looking like he wasn't able to breath and Raven grabbed the 'Nightmare' and rolled him back into the ring. Cassidy Riley came running down and slid into the ring, he clobbered fists to Raven's skull but he kicked him in the gut and gave Riley the Raven Effect!
Raven was insane, he screamed out to the top of his lungs in rage. Then he returned his attention to Rhodes, picking him up and whipping him into the ropes then with a drop toe hold forcing his head to smash off of the steel chair. Raven lifted rhodes up to his feet, then delivered the Raven Effect. Seemingly proud of the path of destruction he just made Raven stood over Rhodes with his arms spread.
Don West: "Wow Mike Tenay, I cannot belive what we just witnessed there, Raven has gone off he deep end there is no doubt about it."
Mike Tenay: "That is very apparent as the medics check on Cassidy Riley and Dustin Rhodes in the ring, we'll keep you updated on their conditions if anything comes up. Folks, this next match came about after some friendly competition between Director of Authority Dusty Rhodes' assistants Traci and Trinity set out to find a team each to outdo the others."
Don West: "Oh that's right Mike Tenay! We're going to find out next who has hand picked the better team, will it be Traci's reunited Disciples of Destruction, they're my pick! Or, will it be Trinity's Phi Delta Slam who have been on quite the roll as of late."
Mike Tenay: "Folks, it's time to find out as we go to the ring."
The DOD's music began to play, and some smoke filled the entrance way. Traci Brooks walked out of the entrance position, then motioned for the two men to come out. they did so, Both Ron and Don on two Harley Motor Cycles.
Jeremy Borash: "Ladies and gentlemen the following Tag Team Contest is scheduled for one fall, introducing first, representing Team Traci they are Ron and Don Harris.... the Disciples of Destruction!"
The Harris brothers drove the bike around the ring and parked them at the bottom of the entrance position, then Traci grabbed their hands and accompanied them to the ring.
Phi Delta Slam was out next and they were accompanied by Trinity, but the big boys didn't take their time getting to the ring, they ran full speed down the aisle upon Trinity's command and slid into the ring!
Team Trinity versus Team Traci
Phi Delta Slam versus The Disciples of Destruction
Bruno Sassi and Big tilly came into the ring but Ron and Don were ready. The brothers pounded hard rights to the faces of Phi Delta Slam, sending them reeling against the ropes. Big Tilly however countered don Harris' haymaker and knocked him to the mat with a headbutt. Now Tilly and Bruno double teamed Ron, whipping him into the ropes then lifting him up and slamming him down.
Big Tilly and Don Harris went to their respective corners while Bruno Sassi continued his assault on Big Ron. Sassi applied a sleeper hold on the former head of secuirity, and Ron slowly began to fade away. Traci began pounding on the mat while wearing her tight white muscle shirt, that alone got the crowd behind the Disciples of Destruction. Ron fed off of the crowd and was able to get back to his feet and break Bruno Sassi's grip, he then fired off of the ropes and took the big man down with a short arm clothesline.
Ron tagged out to Don and for the next few moments Harris stomped and kicked at the Delta Slam member. He tossed Bruno outside of the ring, a move that took offence to Big Tilly, and the bigger of the two men got into the ring. He and Harris battled it out, but it proved to be a distraction allowing Bruno to clobber Don from behind. The match waged on for a few more minutes Big Brune scored with a Powerbomb on Don Harris, then tagged out to the 400 lb plus Big Tilly who climbed to the top rope and delivered a Frog Splash! TNA! Chants started, Tilly hooked the leg and Ron hit the ring but Bruno held him off long enough to get the three count!

Trinity jumped up and down on the outside celebrating her victory, the camera showed Traci who didn't look at all happy having her men beaten. But inside of the ring the women's teams didn't seem done with each other as they continued to brawl and had to be held apart by both Trinity and Traci!
Mike Tenay: "Wow Don, Destination X has been off to an explosive beginning, wouldn't you say?"
Don West: "We have been on fire so far tonight Mike Tenay, but up next is a match that I have been waiting all month for, it's the return of the Ultimate X, only this time there is a twist, tell 'em about it Mike Tenay!"
Mike Tenay: "Tonight's Match is an Ultimate X Challenge, the four men will start off in a tag-team match with the first person who is pinned being eliminated. After the elimination, it will be a triple threat match with the man being eliminated in that fall being sent to the back. The Ultimate X begins when the final two men are in the ring, from there the first star to retrive the title from the cables fifteen feet above will be the TNA X Division Champion."
