    WWE RAW Results:

    Monday April 25

    From: Birmingham, England

RAW started off with a highlights package recapping last week's events. It showed the limo pull up and Batista stepping out. The Champion told everyone that actions speak louder than words, and he'd prove that point to Triple H. Triple H was shown talking to Flair and saying after RAW it would be Triple H, the eleven time World Champion. From there it was clips of the main event. After Batista powered out of the Pedigree and landed a spine buster, it seemed he was on his way to victory. The colors turned red as the suspended Rhyno came in out of nowhere and charged the Champion taking him down with the Gore. Rhyno looked toward the entrance ramp and flipped the bird before disappearing. With the colors back to normal the video package ended with an enraged Triple H beating down Batista and posing with the World Heavyweight Title.

It's All About The Game, Didn't You Know?

After Jim Ross and Jerry Lawler welcomed everyone to the show, "The Game" by Motorhead blasted over the speakers. Triple H, dressed in black and grey workout pants, and a t-shirt came out with Ric Flair by his side. Helmsley didn't seem to be in a good mood as he marched methodically to the ring. No water bottle, no spitting of the water Triple H was all business tonight. He entered the ring and snatched the microphone out of Lillian's hand.

Triple H: "GET OUT OF MY RING!!"

Lillian did as she was told and dropped down before rolling out of the ring. Triple H paced a little bit as Flair stood behind him.

Triple H: "Last week I was WELL ON MY way to beating Dave Batista, and then.. and then.. IT WAS ALL TAKEN FROM ME! MY SHOT! It was taken from me by some guy…. some guy WHO HAS NEVER EVEN BEEN NEAR A WORLD TITLE! Some guy who was supposed to be SUSPENDED!"

The fan were mixed here, on one hand they were cheering the fact that Triple H's shot at the Title had been taken from him, but on the other hand Rhyno had attacked Batista making him a hated man.

Triple H: "I don't know where he came from and I don't know why he did it, but HE WASN'T SUPPOSED TO BE MY PROBLEM! RHYNO WAS BISCHOFF'S PROBLEM! Eric I want you to come down to this ring right now, and I want you to make things right! I want you to come down to this ring, AND GIVE ME BACK MY SHOT AT BATISTA! I can wait in this ring for however long it takes, Bischoff. Hell I can wait here all night!"

    EWR Rating: 84%

Enter Bischoff, And Who's The Big Guy?

Trips didn't have to wait long. "I'm Back" played over the speakers and the General Manager of RAW, Eric Bischoff came out. He wasn't alone however as there was a huge bearded man with him dressed in black pants, and a tight black t-shirt. The two men entered the ring, and Bischoff had a microphone. He began to speak and the big man stood beside him with his arms crossed.

Eric Bischoff: "Triple H, Triple H I know you're upset about this whole Rhyno situation, hell I'm very upset about it. And you're right last week on RAW your title shot was unfairly ripped away from you."

Triple H lifted him microphone up and pointed in Bischoff's face.

Triple H: "You're damn right it was! Now Bischoff make it right! Give me another shot at Batista and the World Heavyweight Title!"

Bischoff held up his hands to try and calm Triple H down.

Eric Bischoff: "Triple H I've already got it covered. This Sunday at Backlash it's going to be BATISTA versus TRIPLE H FOR THE WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE!"

The crowd liked what they heard even if it was Triple H getting his rematch. Triple H smiled and patted Bischoff on his shoulder.

Triple H: "I knew you were a smart man, Bischoff. I knew it."

Eric Bischoff: "Yeah, I thought you would like that Hunter, and about this whole Rhyno situation, don't you worry about that either because I've got that taken care of."

Bischoff turned to the big man and slapped him on his back.

Eric Bischoff: "My new hired gun, Matt Morgan is going to take care of it. If Rhyno even dares to show his face around here tonight, Mr. Morgan will put a stop to him once and for all, and should Rhyno want to make an appearance tonight will be spending the night BEHIND BARS! So Triple H, enjoy the rematch."

Bischoff turned and went to leave, but then he looked like he remembered something and turned around.

Eric Bischoff: "Oh, I forgot to mention, Triple H; enjoy the rematch with what's left of Batista because after tonight's Main Event when he faces GENE SNITSKY there might not be much left of him!"

"I'm Back" played once again and Triple H and Flair had smiles on their faces, not only did Triple H get his rematch this Sunday at Backlash, Batista would have to survive Gene Snitsky tonight to get there. Bischoff and Morgan were on their way to the back when RAW went to its first commercial break of the evening.

It's Not Just An American Epidemic...

When RAW returned Simon Dean's music was playing as he and his partner Maven made their way to the ring, Dean was carrying his gym bag full of the patented Simon System™ product. Maven stood in the center of the ring while Simon put his bag in the corner and grabbed a microphone.

Simon Dean: "You know, after flying a few hours over here I thought I'd get a breath of fresh air! After all, we are in a foreign country, one that supposedly has tons of beautiful sites and places to see. Well that's just a load of crap!"

Dean shook his head and Maven reassured him that he was correct with some subtle nods of his head.

Simon Dean: "When I look around here, I don't see ANYTHING beautiful! I see a bunch of lazy, fat, disgusting, sweat hogs! P - U!"

The fans booed Dean loudly even starting a "You Suck" chant, but Dean ever the soldier in the fight for physical fitness continued on.

Simon Dean: "After taking this trip over here to England it's convinced me that I have to make my patented Simon System™ an International Product because I’ve discovered that obesity isn't just a problem in America, its running wild all over England here tonight!"

More booing for Dean until William Regal's music overtook the public address. The Brit and his tag team partner Tajiri came out to a massive pop from the audience. Regal wore a black t-shirt with the Union Jack on it, and the Tag Team Title belt strapped proudly around his waist.

    EWR Rating: 67%

    Non Title Match

William Regal and Tajiri© versus Simon Dean and Maven

Jim Ross informed everyone that these two teams would be meeting this Sunday at Backlash for the World Tag Team titles, tonight however the belts were not on the line. Why were they basically giving away the same match people would be seeing Sunday with the titles on the line? Well they were in England so William Regal needed to be on Television. The Englishman started things off with Maven and took the former Tough Enough Champion to school with some crisp chain wrestling. Maven couldn't hang with the south paw and was soon eating the mat courtesy of a William Regal's hammerlock. After a while Regal broke the hold and stomped on the arm of Maven. He lifted the youngster to his feet and further worked his arm with an arm wringer. William tagged in Tajiri who unleashed some vicious kicks to Maven's arm while his partner kept the wringer applied. The Buzz saw enjoyed the offensive advantage until he tried to apply the Tarantula - Maven got his legs and arm free before shoving Tajiri off of the ropes. Tajiri landed head first on the outside in a scary situation. Maven tagged in Simon Dean, and the fitness expert rolled Tajiri back into the ring before making the cover for a two count.

Tajiri seemed to be out of it but continued on. Dean hit a Northern Lights suplex and nearly had the win but Regal made the save just in time. Maven hit the ring, but William Regal side stepped and used Maven's own momentum to send him over the top rope and outside the ring. The Tag Champion went back for some more of Simon Dean but the referee was holding him in his corner. Dean used the opportunity to go over into the corner and search in his gym bag, but whatever he was looking for wouldn't nearly do the damage of what was about to come next. As Tajiri got to his feet, Rhyno slid into the ring out of no where, and in full speed NAILED HIM WITH THE GORE!

Tajiri was turned inside out! Rhyno pounded on his chest and held his arms in the air to a tremendous disapproval. He rolled back out of the ring and exited through the crowd. Simon Dean had finally decided he was going to use the bottle of Simon System™ powder and turned around to find that the work had already been done. He looked surprised and just tossed the container. William Regal saw it all go down and was clawing desperately to get into the ring, only Charles Robinson was still holding him back and didn't see anything. Maven knocked Regal off of the ring apron and kept him from making the save as Dean made the cover and scored the upset win on the Tag Team Champions.

    Winners: Simon Dean and Maven

    -OR:75% -CR:71% -MQ:80%

Dean celebrated as if he had just won the Tag Team Titles. On the outside Regal slammed Maven into the ring steps and slid into the ring, but Simon quickly rolled out. Regal checked on Tajiri, shouting in anger.

    Operation Seek and Arrest...

RAW went backstage in Eric Bischoff's office where the GM was barking orders to his "hired gun" Matt Morgan and about twelve police officers.

Eric Bischoff: "WHAT IN THE HELL DOES HE THINK HE'S DOING HERE!!?? HE JUST RUINED ANOTHER MATCH ON MY SHOW!!! Go find him! I want that man arrested for trespassing!"

Matt Morgan: "Don't you worry Mr. Bischoff, I'll find him. Let's go guys!"

The huge Morgan opened the office door and led the policemen out in their search for Rhyno. Bischoff's face was beat red, and he picked up a container of writing utensils before throwing it against the wall and pounding his fist on the desk.

    Eric Bischoff: "Damn him!"

From there RAW went to another commercial break.

    EWR Rating: 65%

    The Masterlock Challenge...

When RAW returned to the air Chris Masters was entering the ring, the commercial cut off the first half of his entrance. He was already unrobed, and stepped into the squared circle. Lillian announced him as "The Masterpiece" and he took the mic.

Chris Masters:  “I am out here again this week, and I am out here with same challenge to anyone back there."

Masters reached into the top of his trunks and pulled out a wad of cash.

Chris Masters: "One thousand dollars to anyone that can pin me in this ring, or break my Masterlock submission hold! So who's it going to be Steven Richards? HA! Hurricane? Please! Someone at least TRY to give the Masterpiece a challenge!"

Masters smiled arrogantly and held out the microphone waiting for an answer. Suddenly the Titan Tron came to life with a countdown 5.. 4.. 3.. 2.. 1.. BOOM! "Break Down the Walls" played, and the fans in England applauded as Chris Jericho spun around on the ramp making a fist with his right hand. Jericho was answering the Masterlock Challenge. Masters looked shocked and Charles Robinson took the Money out of Masters' hand for safe keeping. The Masterpiece quickly stood in a stance waiting for Jericho to get in the ring, and tossed the microphone to the outside.

    EWR Rating: 53%

    Chris Masters versus Chris Jericho

Jericho slid into the ring and Masters quickly locked his hands and went for an axe handle on Jericho, but Y2J ducked the move and bounced off of the ropes. He propelled back and leaped into the air catching Masters with a flying forearm to the face! Masters stumbled backwards but didn't fall to the mat, Jericho was using his quickness to give him the advantage over the much larger Superstar and it was working. Chris grabbed Masters' arm and went for an Irish whip but Masters out powered him and Jericho took the ride. Masters fired off with an attempted clothesline - if it had connected it would have decapitated Jericho, but Y2J baseball slid under Masters' leg and got beck to his feet. With the Masterpiece still looking the opposite way Jericho jumped up and drop kicked him, forcing Masters to stumble through the ropes and to the outside! Jericho raised his hand in the air, and the crowd cheered him on. Chris Masters got back to his feet, and pounded the apron with a beat red face! He was frustrated and pissed off! Masters ordered Charles Robinson to hand him the thousand dollars and the referee did so. Jericho called him on but Masters stuffed the wad of cash into his tights and just raised his hand waving Jericho off. He walked right up the ramp and to the back! Charles Robinson counted Masters out giving the win to Jericho.

Winner: Chris Jericho (by count out)

    An Enraged Animal...

From there RAW headed the back where the World Heavyweight champion Batista was shown standing next to Maria. He had a serious look on his face standing with the title over his shoulder.

Maria: "Batista, we heard it at the beginning of the show, this Sunday at Backlash you will put the world Heavyweight title on the line once again against Triple H. How do you feel about having to defend the title against him once again after what Triple H did to you last week?"

Batista: "You want to know how I feel about putting this title on the line against Triple H again, after he took advantage of me here last week and beat me down with a steel chair? (Batista started smiling) Ha, ha I CAN'T WAIT! I can't wait to step into the ring with Hunter once again and give him the payback he deserves. And if Hunter thinks he stopped the Animal last week, he can just watch my match with Snitsky tonight!"

Maria: "Well we all saw what Rhyno did to you last week, and he's already made an appearance tonight despite being suspended,"

Maria was going to continue but Batista's smile vanished from his face and the Champion interrupted her.

Batista: "If I run into Rhyno tonight, after I'm done with him - he won't be a problem to anyone!"

Batista scowled for a few seconds, and then walked off. Maria fixed her hair before the scene closed.

A commercial hyping the Draft Lottery next week on RAW aired claiming that RAW and Smackdown! would be "changed forever." Then a commercial break followed.

Shawn Michaels and Marty Jannetty versus La Resistance

RAW returned with La Resistance waving their flags on their way to the ring. The British crowd booed the cocky French Canadian, and "French Sympathizer." La Resistance's music was soon over taken by a vintage theme song - that of the Rockers as Marty Jannetty and Shawn Michaels came out. Jannetty had new ring attire on, black tights with red and white stars on them - much like HBK's tights with the white and red broken hearts. They raced to the ring and in unison landed a double drop kick to Rob Conway! Grenier came charging but HBK dropped down and grabbed the top rope forcing Sylvain to tumble to the outside. Jannetty called to Michaels and they landed a double vertical suplex on Conway. As Michaels took his corner Muhammad Hassan and Daivari joined JR and the King at the announce booth, to the dismay of the fans. Hassan would go on to degrade Americans and take shots at both Jannetty and Michaels throughout the match.

Jannetty had been doing a number on Conway, and backed him into the corner where he tagged in HBK. Shawn came in and landed ten punches to the face of the La Resistance member with the crowd counting each shot. HBK went to whip Conway on the opposite side but the Kentucky native reversed and sent HBK into enemy territory. Sylvain proceeded to choke out Michaels and over the next few moments it was all La Resistance as they utilized quick tags and double team moves. After a back body drop on HBK Grenier grounded him with a headlock. Marty stomped on the apron and pounded on the turnbuckle to get the fans behind them - it worked as Michaels was soon able to power out and make the tag to Jannetty. Marty cleared house and after tossing Conway though the ropes, planted Grenier with the Rocker Dropper for the win.

Winners: Shawn Michaels and Marty Jannetty

    -OR:70% -CR:72% -MQ:67%

Hassan and Daivari left the announce position as soon as the bell rang and attempted to spoil the Rockers celebration by attacking them from behind. Hassan pounded on Michaels while Daivari attempted to take out Jannetty, but Marty tossed him out of the ring and went after Hassan. He and Michaels whipped Muhammad across the ring and went to nail a double super kick - but Daivari grabbed his leg and pulled him out of the ring in time. HBK and Jannetty finished their celebration as Hassan and Daivari talked trash.

    From there JR and the King talked everyone through a video graphical run down of Sunday's Backlash card;

*WWE Women's Title Match - Trish Stratus© versus Christy Hemme

*World Tag Team Title Match - William Regal and Tajiri© versus Simon Dean and Maven

*Chris Jericho versus Chris Masters - just added*

    *WWE Intercontinental Title Match

    Shelton Benjamin© versus Christian

*Muhammad Hassan and Daivari versus Shawn Michaels and Marty Jannetty

    *World Heavyweight Title Match

    Batista© versus Triple H

    And Things Keep Getting Better...

After the run down was complete the show once again went backstage to Eric Bischoff's office. Edge was shown standing in front of Bischoff's desk garnering a mass of boos from the British crowd.

Eric Bischoff: "That's exactly what I'm saying Edge, this Sunday at Backlash you will go one on one with Chris Benoit in a NO DISQUALIFICATION MATCH! I know there's bad blood between the two of you and what better way to settle it than LIVE on PAY PER VIEW!?"

Edge smiled and stroked his chin.

Edge: "No disqualification, I can deal."

Bischoff was about to respond to Edge but suddenly the office door barged open. Matt Morgan and the dozen police officers entered the room, Edge decided to take his leave.

Matt Morgan: "Mr. Bischoff, we've searched the entire premises, every square inch and he's not here."

Eric Bischoff: "What do you mean he's not here!?"

Matt Morgan: "He's not here; we've searched the whole building."

Bischoff locked at his desk and then in an instant ran his arm across it, knocking everything off and onto the floor.

    Eric Bischoff: "DAMN IT!"

With that RAW went to its final commercial break of the evening.

    EWR Rating: 73%

"IT WASN'T MY FAULT!" was heard on the public address, marking the entrance of Gene Snitsky. Snitsky marched to the ring stroking his fully grown goatee and doing his best to look menacing. But all of the trying in the world wouldn't make him look half as intimidating as the World Heavyweight Champion who stepped out from behind the curtain before flexing and posing to the approval of the fans in the arena. Batista was all business; he unstrapped the World Title and dropped it on the ramp before charging into the ring.

    Main Event: Non Title Match

    Batista versus Gene Snitsky

The bell rang and the two monsters began trading blows, Snitsky refused to back down from Batista. He blocked a shot from the Champion and kneed him in the midsection before whipping him into the ropes. The Champ fired back and steam rolled over the big man with a shoulder block. Batista proceeded to mount Snitsky and hammer him with closed fists. Batista proceeded to make a complete example out of Snitsky, hammering him in the corner. Snitsky would regain a semblance of the offensive lead catching Batista with a boot after the Champion charged the corner looking for an avalanche. That would be the last offensive move from Snitsky however because when he charged at Batista the Champion lifted him up and slammed him down with a spine shattering spine buster! Batista lifted Snitsky up and tucked his head between his legs before nailing the Batista Bomb! He covered but pulled Snitsky's shoulder up at two. Triple H had come out to the top of the ramp, and was watching the action in the ring. Batista looked straight into Triple H and landed another devastating Batista Bomb on Snitsky for the win!

    Winner: Batista

    -OR:74% -CR:75% -MQ:75%

Triple H stood at the top of the ramp applauding Batista sarcastically as the Champion stared him down in the ring. With that the credits hit the screen and JR & the King reminded everyone to purchase Backlash this Sunday.

    WWE RAW Television Preview

    April 25, 2005

We are less than a week away from Backlash, and things couldn’t be any hotter. Tonight on RAW with just six days separating them from their big show down with Hassan and Daivari, Shawn Michaels and Marty Jannetty join forces to take on La Resistance. Surely their opponents at Backlash will have their eyes on this one.

After defeating Steven Richards last week, Chris Masters returns for another Masterlock Challenge, who will step up and answer the test this week?

The World Tag Team Champions William Regal and Tajiri will see action in Regal’s home country this week as they go head to head with the number one contenders for the World Tag Team Titles, Simon Dean and Maven. Plus we expect to hear from Triple H, Batista and RAW GM Eric Bischoff on the controversial ending to last week’s RAW. Be sure to tune in tonight on SPIKE TV!

    Scheduled Matches:

    - Non Title Match – William Regal and Tajiri versus Maven & Simon Dean

    - Chris Masters versus *who ever answers his challenge*

    - Shawn Michaels and Marty Jannetty versus La Resistance

  4. Thanks for that TGC, if anyone can get right down to the nitty gritty it’s you, also I made the date changes in the old shows, I’ve really gotta watch out for those. With that here are some RAW notes.

WWE RAW Brand News and Notes

For the Week of April 18, 2005

*A week after reporting that I thought Rhyno's suspension wasn't actually a work we saw him run in on the Main Event and Gore the World Heavyweight Champion forcing the match to end in a disqualification. Taking his name off of house show schedules may have been WWE's way of tricking the Internet Community into believing Rhyno's suspension was legit, hey they got me. Expect to see more of Rhyno in the coming weeks as you rarely see a guy interfere in the Main Event and then just vanish the week after.

*Many fans were upset that Chris Jericho's hasn't actually wrestled on RAW for the past few weeks; instead he was kept on the Sunday Night Heat tapings. With just one week until Backlash it will be interesting to see if Y2J lands a match on the card.

*Steven Richards made his return to the ring on RAW later than expected. The original thought was that Richards would be out 4-5 weeks after breaking his nose in Chris Masters' debut, but ended up out of action for close to six. Richards is expected to return to Heat.

*Speaking of Masters he received some "boring" chants during his Master Lock Challenge segment and the MSG crowd didn't seem too impressed with his making short work of Steven Richards. WWE however must have liked the results because Masters returns to RAW this week with yet another Master Lock Challenge.

*WWE added a match to the Backlash card over the week on the Backlash website, that match being Trish Stratus putting the Women's Title on the line against Christy Hemme in a WrestleMania rematch. In many fans minds this just goes to show how weak the Women's division has become.

*After releasing Chilly Willy from his Developmental Deal last week, WWE released two more developmental workers over the weekend as Gregg Groothuis and Mike Hentinga were given the boot.

*The brand draft is two just two weeks away. While some developmental workers have been cut over the past two weeks an idea floating around lately is that once the draft is over some of OVW's top Tag Team will be getting the call up to join the active roster. MNM (Matthews Melina and Nitro) have been receiving high praise lately, and the Billy and Chuck like tag team of Antonio Thomas and Romei Roselli (the Heart Breakers) have as well. OVW also has teams like Johnny Jeter and Matt Cappotelli, the Toland cousins, and the Shane Twins. With the Tag Team divisions in such bad shape on both RAW and Smackdown, some good Tag Teams would be a breath of fresh air.

*With RAW airing from England this week, expect William Regal and Tajiri to be in action, with Simon Dean and Maven being the number one contenders to the Tag Team Titles we may even see them up for grabs in Regal's native land.

Well that's all for this week. Be sure to check back next week for more WWE RAW News and Notes.

  5. Haven't replied to this in a while, allow me to give my thoughts on this show;

    - Unlike Burning Dragon, I really like the addition of Russo to Jarrett, these two are always gold on the stick, and you portray both to a tee so I can expect some entertaining stuff in the upcoming weeks. This promo was good, and sets the stage with Russo as Jarrett's consultant.

    - Killings versus Disco was alright, I like the team of Killings and Konnan but don't see them as being the ones to take the titles from the pitbulls. They have a nice cult following being built, I'd like to see them in something meaningful soon though.

    - Awesome continues his dominance destroying Leroux, and pleasing Mantel. I think Dutch needs some more mic time soon or his whole fight is going to be forgotten. I think you should keep Leroux around for the X Division though, he's pretty funny on the microphone and bring in someone like SharkBoy to team him with and you could have gold!

    - The Brethren is being built nicely, another weirdo is added in Luna. Like BD said I'd like to see her manage Sinn and Lestat, leaving Mitchell to cater to the Annoited one and the Lost Boys. I want "Him" to be the Wall but I think that's too obvious as a choice.

    - Old School Challenge served its purpose and gives Corino a reason to be on TV, though he should get more mic time!

    - I like the possibilty of Low Ki versus Daniels but I hope we see something unexpected happen while Ki tries to go through all of the X Division, because if he goes over all of them it makes the rest of the Division look really week.

    - I actually liked the contract signing, it allowed TNA fans to see both men before the big match, and added anticipation. Both wearing the masks is cool, I don't think the match would be as interesting if Misterio hadn't put it back on.

    - Hall and Vader potatoing each other was the shit, I could really get into a Vader vs Jarrett segment. Push Vader as the monster he is, and Jarrett as the cowardly heel.

All in all a good show to build for next weeks Super Event, with the debut of the annoited One and Misterio versus Dragon. Keep up the awesome work AD.

  6. Thanks for the feedback guys, that's really the stuff I am looking for. Allow me to comment on a few things here.

I will say however, the Christian promo was lacking Christian's usual wit, It just dodn't seem like Christian (and Christian rules.......). Also, I wouldn't have minded Jericho getting invloved a bit more, possibly hinting at least, a three-way match.

To be honest I wasn't really happy with the Christian promo either, it felt too generic when I had him speak. Jericho didn't have anything to do this week, but I do have something planned for next week so I figured the highlight reel would be a good way to get all three on tv, and further add heat for Benjamin Christian at Backlash.

Not too sure on the Rhyno involvement in the main event either, but if it goes somewhere good, then fair enough, I just feel there would be a way to still keep the Rhyno story, yet come up with a better way of keeping the Batista/HHH feud going without interference from a midcarder (or any interference at all for that matter)

At the beginning of the storyline I have planned this probably does seem a little odd, but in the way I'm going with Rhyno I think it will really help, plus it makes the Batista Triple H situation a little well interesting.

    - The Masterlock challenge was... well, there. I hope you do something else with him, as Masters has potential and can easily be in Evolution with another Batista-like role. He's obviously gaining overness, think of how much he'll get wrestling along side of the Nature Boy and The Game, getting wins over established veterans.

I had a similar idea in mind, we'll see where it goes.

Christian: "So Shelton, at Backlash on March 1st it's going to be you putting your title on the line against Captain Charisma!"

    Also, proof reading does help.

I proof read, it just that March and May are so damn close it slipped through. I'll be watchful for that.

Once again thanks for the feedback everyone, some news and notes should be up today.

    The Champion Kicks Things Off...

When RAW hit the air, a black limousine pulled up behind Madison Square Garden and made its stop. After a few moments the back door opened, and out stepped the World Heavyweight champion Batista, dressed in business attire. The Champion tossed the title belt onto his shoulder before he grabbed his bag and headed toward the building, however he was cut off by Todd Grisham with a microphone.

Todd Grisham: "Batista! Batista! Can I just get a few words with you?"

Batista sat his bag down, then took off his sunglasses and placed them on the collar of his blue shirt.

Todd Grisham: "Alright, tonight you put the World Heavyweight Title on the line against Triple H in a WrestleMania rematch. Now maybe even more importantly than that, you put it on the line right here at Madison Square Garden - an arena that has seen Triple H win many brutal encounters. I've already seen Triple H tonight, and he says he's ready. The question is Batista, are you? Are you ready for Triple H tonight?"

    Batista smiled, and with humbleness replied;

Batista: "You know Todd, Triple H said he was ready at WrestleMania and you know what happened? I kicked his ass! So if Triple H says he's ready tonight then you bet I'm ready to kick his ass again, just like I did at WrestleMania when I became the World Heavyweight Champion! But Todd, actions speak louder than words, and I'll just have to show you that in the ring tonight!"

Batista picked his bag back up and walked into the building. From there the standard RAW opening video played followed by the pyro display on stage.

    The Masterlock Challenge...

Once the fireworks had finished their sequence Jim Ross and Jerry the King Lawler welcomed everyone to the show. After some more hyping of the night's World Heavyweight Title Main Event the music of the "Masterpiece" over took the speakers, and the cocky young rookie made his entrance. After some arrogant posing he grabbed the microphone from Lillian Garcia.

Chris Masters: "Last week you all saw the video package. Tonight is the start of my own creation, the Masterlock Challenge!"

Masters smiled and looked around at the rather unresponsive crowd before reaching into his tights and pulling out a fat wad of cash. Masters held the bills up in his hand and continued on.

Chris Masters: "Each week I have been out here, and each week I have punished and destroyed every opponent that has fought me with my Masterlock. So the Deal is this I'm offering $1,000 of my own money to anyone who can either beat me in a match or escape my Masterlock. So who's it going to be? Come on, don't be shy! I know some of you back there could use the Money. COME ON!!"

"I'll Show You! You'll See!" blasted over the speakers, and an angry Stevie Richards stormed out from the back. This was the man that Masters defeated in his debut match, and in that encounter he had broken Richards nose! Stevie looked to have revenge on his mind, and Masters handed the Money to the referee.

    Chris Masters versus Stevie Richards

Richards slid into the ring and the bell sounded. It seemed like he had things going in favor as he caught Masters off guard with an array of punches, and a quick offensive. Richards made the mistake of trying to send the much more powerful Masters into the ropes - a move that proved to be his downfall as the "Masterpiece" caught him with a clubbing blow to the face as he came off the ropes. He taunted Stevie as he stumbled back to his feet, the Chris locked on the Masterlock - his version of the Full Nelson and tossed Richards around like a rag doll. Immediately the referee called for the bell and just like that the match was over in less than two minutes. Chris Masters was victorious in his first "Masterlock Challenge."

And Then There's Those Two Guys...

After Masters ripped his Money back out of the referee’s hands, and headed to the back, the cameras switched to the backstage area where Muhammad Hassan and Daivari stood alongside Maria who happened to have a microphone.

Maria: "Hell everyone, I'm here with Muhammad Hassan and Daivari. Now Muhammad last week on RAW Shawn Michaels challenged yourself and Daivari to a match at Backlash. A Tag Team Match pitting the two of you against himself, and the man that came to his aid two weeks ago, Marty Jannetty."

Muhammad Hassan: "And let me guess, you want to know if I accept his challenge?

    Maria: "Well, yeah"

Muhammad Hassan: "Ha! Just what I thought, the predictable question from a typical American! You're just like all of these other Americans here tonight - the inhabitants of the most evil city in the WORLD, New York. Daivari and myself cannot even walk these streets without looks of SUSPICION from everyone walking by. We can't walk the streets without someone thinking that we are TERRORISTS! And that Maria is a shame!"

Daivari took the microphone performed one of his Arabic tirades that are only comprehendible to those that know the language. After the brief outburst he handed the microphone back to Hassan.

Muhammad Hassan: "No matter what I do I still am overlooked here on RAW. I have yet to be pinned, and I have yet to tap out, but still I was kept off of the biggest show of the year - WrestleMania! Is it any coincidence? More like a conspiracy! A conspiracy against me and my people! Now two weeks ago Shawn Michaels got just what he deserved when Daivari and I put him in his place. At Backlash, we'd be happy to do it again. As for Marty Jannetty, we'll do the same to him."

Once more Daivari took the microphone and spoke in Arabic. When he was finished he tossed the microphone at Maria, and the two men walked off. Maria picked the microphone back up and fixed her hair.

Maria: "Umm.. It seems like Daivari and Hassan have accepted Shawn Michaels challenge for Backlash. Back to you guys."

Trish and Molly versus Victoria and Christy with Lita

The show switched to the arena where Victoria and Christy Hemme were coming to the ring to the sound of Christy's music. Lita was with them, continuing her role as Christy's mentor. Trish and Molly were next. Trish did her best to taunt the fact that she had the Women's title around her waist and not anyone of the three ladies in the ring across from her. The Women's Champion started things off with Victoria. Victoria used her noticeable size and strength advantage to give her the edge in the early on, dominating the Women's Champion with various power moves. Trish was able to get her knees up to avoid Victoria's standing moonsault and tagged in Molly Holly. Victoria was beaten down for the next few moments until the eventual hot tag was made to Christy who hit the ring and delivered weak looking blows to the former Women's Champion, and then finally slamming her to the mat.

Lita cheered Christy on, and applauded her effort - Trish took exception to this and the two got into a scuffle on the outside of the ring. Then Trish, as devious as ever tossed Lita into the steel steps bad knee first. She laughed as Lita held her knee in agony but the laughter soon stopped when a huge explosion ignited on stage, and Lita's husband Kane marched menacingly down to the ring. Trish ran into the crowd and Kane chased after her. In all of this there was still a match going on and Molly - distracted by everything that just went down was rolled up by Christy who scored the win over Molly for the second straight week in a row! Victoria was checking on Lita outside of the ring, but joined Christy in celebration as RAW went to commercial.

    Its The Highlight Reel...

When RAW came back on the air, the obesely expensive Jeritron 5000 hung from the ceiling, and the rest of the ring was decked out with the Highlight Reel set as Chris Jericho stood in the center with a microphone in his hand. He waited for his music to die down, then began.

Chris Jericho: "New York City... Welcome to MADISON SQUARE JERICHO!!!!"

The fans cheered at the shout out and Jericho continued

Chris Jericho: "And welcome to the most exciting show on Television today, Chris Jericho's HIGHLIGHT REEL! Now getting right down to business, tonight's guest is the master of the T-Bone Suplex. He is also on his sixth month as the WWE Intercontinental Champion, you may know him as SHELTON BENJAMIN!"

"Ain't no stoppin' me...Now!" was heard over the speakers, and the Intercontinental Champion himself, Shelton Benjamin came to the ring. He was dressed in his singlet, even though Jim Ross informed us that he wasn't scheduled to compete tonight.

Chris Jericho: "Shelton, Shelton have a seat please, and for god sakes somebody give this man a microphone, eh?

Benjamin took a seat at one of the stools, as did Jericho. A ring crew member handed a microphone to the IC Champion.

    Shelton Benjamin: "Thanks."

Chris Jericho: "Now Shelton, you are on your sixth month as the Intercontinental Champion, that's nearly as long as Randy Orton's 8 month reign as Champion - the record for the longest reign in a decade. Now what does it feel like to be that close to breaking a record like that?"

Shelton Benjamin: "Well I dunno, it's not about breaking records. It's just about comin' out here and defendin' this title. That's all I really care about."

Chris Jericho: "Really, really. Well Shelton, recently in tag team action you cost us a match against Christian and his Problem Solver Tyson Tomko... when you were pinned by the CLB. Let's turn our attention to the very expensive Jeritron 5000 shall we?"

Footage from RAW two weeks ago was shown with Christian getting the win over Shelton Benjamin in tag team action, holding the Intercontinental Champion's tights. Back in the ring, Benjamin didn't look very impressed by what he saw on the monitor - or with the fact that Jericho brought it up.

Shelton Benjamin: "What's that all about, Chris? Call me out here for your little show and then rub it in my face?"

Chris Jericho: "Woah, woah Shelton I'm just trying to get down to the facts my man, this is compelling Television. You know I"...

Before Jericho could say another word he was cut off by another entrance theme, this time it was Christian's. He walked out onto stage with his Problem Solver beside him, and a microphone in his hand.

Christian: "Where are all my peeps at here in NYC?"

Christian flashed a smile and out his hand above his eyes "searching" the crowd for his fans who were pretty much non existent by the sounds of all the boos.

Christian: "Now Shelton I couldn't help but over hear you sitting in that ring and saying that all that mattered to you was stepping in the ring and defending that title around your waist! Well the way Captain Charisma sees it, I pinned you in that very ring two weeks ago, so that makes ME the number one contender, and the next in line for a shot at that title!"

The fans booed as Benjamin looked down at his title, and then back at Christian.

Chris Jericho: "He does have a point there Shelton."

Christian: "You're damn right I have a point! Now I'm not a greedy man... I don't want the shot tonight. But I do want a title shot, and a title shot I'm going to get. You see there's another man that agrees I deserve my chance at the Intercontinental title, and his name happens to be Eric Bischoff!"

The crowd booed the mention of Bischoff's name despite his recent "fair" demeanor.

Christian: "So Shelton, at Backlash on May 1st it's going to be you putting your title on the line against Captain Charisma!"

Chris Jericho: "Woah, woah Christian versus Shelton Benjamin at Backlash for the Intercontinental Title, this is huge. what do you have to say Shelton?"

Benjamin looked at Jericho and Christian on the outside.

Shelton Benjamin: "What do I got ta' say? I'll put my title on the line against you at Backlash. But, when I'm done with you... the CLB will be callin' me MR. BENJAMIN!"

Christian: "Yeaaaah! We'll see about that one!"

Christian and Tomko shared an evil laugh before heading to the back. Benjamin's music played as he left the ring and RAW went to commercial. It will be Benjamin and Christian for the Intercontinental Title at Backlash!

    Maven versus Tajiri

RAW returned with singles competition as one half of the World Tag Team Champions went up against one half of the number one contenders to those belts. It was Tajiri going one on one with Maven, but Maven didn't come to the ring alone, he had Simon Dean in his corner. Tajiri controlled the matchup from the start, landing brutal kicks to Maven's sides that had the former Tough Enough Champion cowering in the corner for cover. Simon Dean grabbed Tajiri's leg, allowing Maven to come up from behind and toss him to the outside. Simon put the boots to the Buzzsaw as Maven kept the referee's attention. Dean rolled Tajiri back into the ring allowing Maven to make a cover for two. William Regal came out from the back to even the score on the outside but even that didn't stop Dean from handing Maven a big jug of his Simon System powder. William Regal got on the apron and tried to  get the referee to pay attention to what was going on in the ring - a move that always seems to further divert the referee's attention and it did hear because as soon as Tajiri got to his feet Maven blasted him with the jug. The impact blew the top off of the canister, and powder flew everywhere. Maven covered as Simon Dean ran around the ring and pulled Regal off of the apron. 1, 2, 3! Maven with Simon Dean's help had scored the upset victory!

He Has Money In The Bank, But He's Pissed Off!

When they finished a new theme had overtook the speakers, it was the music of Edge. The winner of the Money in the Bank Ladder Match came to the ring with his trusty brief case in hand, pointing at it and reminding everyone of his impending title match. He slid into the ring and took off his jacket before grabbing the microphone from Lillian Garcia.

Edge: "Last week, I came out here and"...

Edge couldn't even get the words out of his mouth because the crowd had drowned them out with chants of "You Tapped Out!"

Edge: "That's right, last week I tapped out... but damn it I had Chris Benoit beaten. I was this close (holds up his hand with index finger and thumb close together.) And where do you all get off treating me like this? I won the Money in the Bank Ladder Match Damn it! I nearly broke Benoit's arm! I can have a shot at the World Heavyweight Title whenever the hell I feel like it! I am better than Chris Benoit!"

The fans booed Edge for his comments but he went to continue on. He couldn't however, because he was cut off by "Whatever" from Our Lady Peace, and the Rabid Wolverine himself, Chris Benoit made his way out from the back. He was ready for action, and looked focused as always.

    Chris Benoit versus Edge

Benoit came into the ring to simply outwrestle Edge, but the Toronto native wanted to fight. He came at the Rabid Wolverine with clenched fists, but Chris used his head and waited out Edge's initial spree of aggression, eventually ground him with a drop toe hold and subsequent arm bar. Benoit worked over the upper body, but Edge fought back to his feet and broke the hold. After some quick exchanges Benoit too a ride on the ropes, receiving a beautiful dropkick from Edge. Edge took it one step further by climbing to the top rope and attempting a missile dropkick, but Benoit moved out of the way. Edge crashed and burned on the mat, and Chris Benoit - like a shark moving in for the kill locked on the Crippler Crossface. Edge knew damn well he didn't want to feel that pain again this week and quickly scrambled to the ropes. Benoit broke the hold at four allowing Edge to roll outside of the ring and regroup as the show went to commercial.

    ~Commercial Break.

Back on the air Edge was shown with his knee on the back of Chris Benoit's neck, he was holding the top rope and choking the Crippler out with them. Referee Chad Patton warned Edge to play by the rules, Mr. Money in the Bank shrugged it off - he was here to prove a point. Edge controlled the match over the next few moments, Benoit countered a hip toss attempt, and went for a back slide. 1, 2, Edge kicked out! Benoit proceeded to unleash some Canadian Fury, lighting up Edge's chest with stinging knife Edge chops With Edge back against the ropes, Benoit went for an irish whip, but Edge countered and sent him into the ropes. He fired off a hell of a clothesline attempt, but the Wolverine ducked the attack and lacked his hands around Edge's waist. Benoit executed a german suplex, and without breaking his grip on the waist he proceeded to land two more! Chris jumped back to his feet and signaled that the end was near before going up to the top rope. He measured Edge up and leaped off for the headbutt only to land hard on the bare canvas as Edge rolled away just in time. Benoit rolled over to the corner, and Edge looked around at the crowd in Madison Square Garden with a euphoric look on his face. He crouched in the corner - stalking Benoit and taunting the former World Heavyweight champion to get to his feet. Using the ropes Benoit did so and like a sprinter, Edge charged out of the corner in hopes of connecting with his spear - what he got was a whole lot of steel as Benoit came to his senses in the knick of time, and Edge ran shoulder first into the turnbuckle. Benoit came back with a school boy rollup that caught Edge off guard, 1, 2, 3! Benoit had done it again!

    Winner: Chris Benoit

    -OR:86% -CR:87% -MQ:84%

Benoit gets his arm raised in victory, for the second straight week he pinned the man with a title shot looming in his future. But the celebration soon ended as CRACK! Edge returned to the ring and smashes a steel chair over Chris Benoit's head! Benoit hit the mat in a heap, but it didn't stop Edge from bringing the chair down again and again over Benoit's injured arm. A mob of officials stormed the ring and finally kept Edge from doing further damage to Chris' arm. Edge had re injured the arm of Chris Benoit, and laughed about it as Benoit shouted in agony holding his limb when RAW went to the back.

    The Calm Before The Storm...

In the back Triple H and Ric Flair were shown leaving their locker room, Triple H had a white towel over his shoulders, and Flair was shirt and tie as usual.

    Flair: "Are you ready, Champ!!??"

Flair holds out his hand and Triple H smiled his arrogant smile before he shook it.

Triple H: "Oh, naitch I'm damn ready!"

Flair: "That's what I thought, ha ha! Eleven times! Eleven times my man, after this you are going to be the eleven time... World's Heavyweight Champion! Wooooo!! Batista is nothin'! He's nothin'!"

Batista© versus Triple H with Ric Flair

The show came back on with "The Game" by Motorhead playing over the public address, and once again we saw Triple H and Ric Flair. They stood in the dark for a couple moments, and then headed to the ring. A fan holding a sign that read "Game Over Triple H." was shown. From there it was the patented spitting of the water, and Triple H took to the center of the squared circle. He wiped his face with the towel that was on his shoulders and tossed it to a side. Then it was Batista's turn, and when he stepped out on stage with the World Championship strapped around his waist the fans went absolutely crazy! Batista flexed and posed at the top of the ramp before walking proudly to the ring. He used the steps and entered the squared circle before unstrapping the belt and raising it in the air. Batista handed it to Earl Hebner and then stared down with the man staring back at him from the other corner.

The bell rang, and the two met each other in the center of the ring ensuing in a collar and elbow tie up, but after backing Triple H into the corner, there was a forced clean break. Back in the center of the ring, another tie and this time Triple H came out the victor suckering in the Champion with a side headlock. After attempting to wear the Animal down for a few moments, he was soon sent into the ropes and taken to the mat with a shoulder block. Helmsley rolled away, and looked surprised at Batista's power. Apparently he had forgotten how strong he was when Batista BEAT him for the belt. Batista just smiled and taunted the Game. Triple H soon gained the offensive lead that he searched for though, countering an irish whip with a Harley Race like knee to the face. Helmsley tried to keep the Animal on the mat with wear down holds, the latest was a headlock on the mat. Batista didn't bother to try to get to the ropes, he used his strength to stand up and lift Triple H up before nailing an atomic drop and following through with a huge short-arm clothesline that nearly decapitated Hunter! Batista would enjoy the lead over the next few moments and RAW went to a commercial break with the fans cheering the Champion on.

    ~Commercial Break.

Back on the air Triple H was nailing Batista with Elbows to the face. A picture in picture replay showed us that over the break Flair helped Helmsley regain control by choking Batista out with the ropes as Triple H distracted Earl Hebner. A hip toss from the Game took Batista to the canvas and Triple H immeadiatly applied a sleeper hold. Batista seemed to be fading away, and after two drops of the hand it had seemed Triple H fulfilled his quest of gaining yet another title reign, but the fans rallied behind the Champion and Batista fought back to his feet. He countered Helmsley's sleeper with a modified side slam! Flair jumped up onto the apron distracting the referee, and getting Batista's attention as well. Batista hauled off and leveled the Nature Boy with a clubbing blow, it knocked Flair right off of the apron. But as Batista turned around and headed toward Triple H, Flair's ploy worked as the Game nailed a kick to the midsection and scooped the double under hooks before tucking Batista's head between his legs. Triple H had the pedigree locked up and the fans booed - but they quickly turned to cheers when Batista stood up and tossed Helmsley right over his back! Triple H stood up, and Batista whipped him into the ropes before nailing his Arn Anderson like Spinebuster!

Batista leveled Triple H with the powerful Spinebuster, the impact of the move knocked both men to the mat, the ovation was deafening as the fans knew victory was on its way for the Champ. Triple H rolled to the outside of the ring where Ric Flair tried to help him regain his composure. Batista leaned against the ropes to catch his breath, but someone had slid into the ring. Batista seemingly sensed this and turned around - The World Heavyweight champion was nailed with THE GORE from a charging Rhyno! Rhyno had slid into the ring and leveled Batista with the Gore! What in the hell was the purpose of this, and more importantly why was Rhyno even here? He was suspended last week by General Manager Eric Bischoff! Rhyno looked up toward the titan tron and made an obscene hand gesture, a message straight to the General Manager himself, before running out of the ring and vanishing through the crowd. Referee Earl Hebner had called for the bell, ruling a no contest on the grounds of outside interference.

    Winner: No contest

    -OR:85% -CR:89% -MQ:76%

Triple H was furious, Rhyno had just ruined the Main Event, and more importantly to Triple H he had just ruined any chance that the Game had of becoming the World Champion tonight! Triple H snapped, and walked over to the time keeper, pushing him out of his seat and grabbing the steel chair. The Game slid into the ring, and Batista was regaining his composure. CRACK! Helmsley walloped the chair right over the skull of the champion - it was a sickening sound and Batista fell to the mat. Again and again Triple H smashed the chair over Batista's back, releasing his rage with the vile chair shots. Flair slid into the ring with the World Heavyweight Title, and the crowd was booing mercilessly. Triple H tossed the chair aside and rolled Batista onto his back before grabbing the title from Flair. He shouted in Batista's face pointing at the title belt as the credits hit the screen and RAW came to an end on a rather chaotic note.

WWE RAW Brand News and Notes

For the Week of April 4, 2005

*Its seems that Rhyno's suspension on Raw this week wasn't a work as the "Man Beast" has been taken off the bill for the RAW Brands house shows, taking his place in the matches is Val Venis. The WWE is tightening down on their superstars in terms of the way they represent themselves and the company in public. While many feel that it is an invasion of privacy, and what wrestlers do on their own time is their business WWE doesn't seem to think that way.

*Eugene is said to be doing well with his recovery from his injury. There was talk about using Eugene in an on air role on RAW while keeping him out of the ring after the reaction that fans gave him at WrestleMania but the writers ultimately decided against it citing that it would be better to allow Dinsmore to stay at home and focus on making a speedy recovery.

*For those of you wondering why Steve Austin wasn't on this week's RAW, allow me to clear a few things up about Austin. He has signed a deal with WWE films to shoot a movie, and will be making occasional appearances on RAW when he schedule allows him to. So in other words don't expect to see Austin every week.

*Randy Orton underwent shoulder surgery this week, the procedure was said to be a success. Dr. Youngblood stated that if Orton remains focused we could see him back in the WWE in about 6 months. As stated last week Orton was going to try to put the surgery off, but after WrestleMania the pain had become unbearable.

*A week after reporting that WWE officials were not impressed by the recent in ring work of Chris Masters it seems that at least one higher up seems to like it. Masters revealed on RAW that starting next week we would see the start of the "Masterlock Challenge." The event is expected to be similar to the segment Kurt Angle performs on Smackdown.

    *The major news of the week was Eric Bischoff's announcement of the draft lottery. Bischoff stated that on May 2nd, the RAW immediately after Backlash five superstars from Raw and Smackdown would be swapping brands with the superstar's fate hanging in the lotto machine. WWE.com released more news about the draft following RAW on Monday. Here is a run down of the information;

    • Every superstar on each roster is eligible, including reigning Champions. Should a Champion's name be picked his title will stay on that brand and become vacant.

    • Managers, or agents will switch brands with their clients should his/ her name be picked. For example if Muhammad Hassan is drafted to Smackdown, Daivari will go with him. This is similar to the way that the nWo could be drafted as a single unit in the original Brand Draft.

    • General Managers and staff members will not be a part of the draft; so don't expect to see JR hopping over to Smackdown or anything like such.

*While some wrestlers are hopping to make the jump and take advantage of the opportunity being drafted would give them, others aren't so happy. Switching brands upsets their touring schedules, and traveling partners.

*WWE released Chilly Willy from his developmental contract earlier in the week, without citing a reason as to why. Some say it was a cost cutting measure, and expect more to come soon in a "Spring Cleaning" of the roster.

In other OVW related news, Matt Morgan has been asked to tour with the RAW Roster for most of May's house show dates. Some have predicted that Morgan will be an active part of the active RAW Roster before SummerSlam.

Well that's all for this week. Be sure to check back next week for more WWE RAW News and Notes.

    WWE RAW Results

    Monday April 11, 2005

RAW kicked off with a video package showing clips from last week's episode. Its focus was on the Triple H and Batista confrontation with Eric Bischoff coming out and signing their WrestleMania rematch for next week. It also showed Bischoff saying that he'd have a major announcement for us here this week. The clip ended with scenes from the Main Event with Triple H running in and attacking Batista, before the Champion fought both he and Randy Orton off. After the clip ended with the two men staring each other down, the regular opening package - the one we're all used to played. Then the pyro display erupted on stage as JR and the King welcomed everyone to the show, and hyping that in tonight's Main Event we'd see Intercontinental Champion Shelton Benjamin and Chris Benoit take on Edge and Christian!

Tag Title Contendership Triangle Tag Match

Simon Dean & Maven versus La Resistance and Hurricane & Rosey

The first order of business for the night however was to name the number one contenders for the World Tag-Team Titles currently held by William regal and Tajiri. This was a triangle tag team match - the logic of this sort of match boggled my mind as only two men were allowed in the ring at the same time, with the option of tagging anyone in that they wanted as long as it wasn't the partner of the man they were currently in the ring with. Well why wouldn't they just tag their own partner in and thus eliminate one team from ever entering the ring to begin with? Ah well, Robert Conway started the match off with the Hurricane getting the better of the super hero with a side headlock, but Hurricane soon shrugs that off and catches Conway with an elbow. But Hurricane's offensive advantage would soon diminish as Conway and Grenier kept him singles out in their corner, working him over with illegal chokes despite the referee's warnings.

Grenier hit the ring and continued to work on Hurricane with some unexciting punishment, but got hit with a Super kick from Hurricane out of desperation. The Super Hero was able to crawl to his corner and tag in big Rosey - who hit the ring with great speed for a big man and tossed both La Resistance members around like rag dolls. With Grenier cowering in the corner for cover Maven tagged himself in. Rosey still had his attention on Conway and Maven delivered a low blow from behind before rolling the big man up with a school boy 1.. 2.. close call! Maven argued with the referee as both La Resistance members made their way back to their corner. Some stomping and punching ensued before Maven picked Rosey up by the hair of his head, and walked him over to the corner tagging in Simon Dean. They double whipped Rosey into the opposing ropes but whatever they tried to do next was halted with a double clothesline from Big Rosey. Tag to the Hurricane, and he climbed to the top rope. Rosey slammed Dean down to the mat before taking his corner and Hurricane connected with the flying elbow. He covered but only received two.

Dean reversed a Hurricane whip attempt, sending the green haired superstar into the La Resistance corner. Grenier and Conway proceeded to beat the hell out of him - Rosey hopped off of the apron and pulled Conway off of the ring, smacking his face against the side of it. Grenier stopped what he was doing and came to Conway's aid on the outside, and they took it to Rosey. Dean tucked Hurricane's head between his legs and attempted a pile driver, but Hurricane kicked his legs about until they hit the mat - he stood up right tossing Dean over his back, but Simon rolled through and held onto the ropes. 1.. 2.. 3! The unlikely duo of Simon Dean and Maven had just cheated their way to a Tag-Team title shot!

Just How Do Those Girls Earn Their Money?

Backstage Diva Search winner Christy Hemme was shown talking to Lita - who was on crutches due to the injury she suffered in the match she lost the Women's Title to Trish. The conversation soon ended when Trish Stratus walked up to them, holding the Women's Championship over her shoulder.

Trish Stratus: "Wow, is this you girls new hangout? It's really a shocker; I would have expected poles projecting from the ceiling or something. Ha, ha."

Christy rolled her eyes at Trish's shot them being strippers, and Lita shook her head.

Lita: "Look, what do you want Trish?"

Trish Stratus: "Well Lita, I just wanted to stop by and tell your little sidekick here to make sure she watches my match later on tonight. Because just like I showed her at WrestleMania, I'll show her again tonight how the REAL Divas earn their money around here. Chow girls!"

Trish walked off, and the camera stayed on Christy and Lita who shook their heads before the show went to commercial break.

    Game On...

When the show returned "The Game" was playing over the speakers and Triple H - the man who would face Batista next week for the World Heavyweight Title was heading to the ring. Helmsley climbed onto the apron, and in unison with his music and light show spit out his trademark mist of water, he climbed into the ring and ripped the microphone out of Lillian Garcia's hand.

Triple H: "Batista! Batista, can you hear it? Can you hear that sound?"

Triple H lifted up his free hand and held his wrist to his ear.

Triple H: "Tick tick..The clock is ticking.. tick tick.. tick tick.. The clock is ticking Batista, and it's counting down. It's counting down the last remaining moments of what will be you short reign as Champion. Because Dave, make no mistake about it, next week - Madison Square Garden I will take back what's rightfully mine and that is THEE WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP! Dave, everyone gets lucky once in a while. At WrestleMania lady luck was on your side... She won't be next week I'll guarantee it!"

Triple H dropped the microphone and took off his t-shirt as "Hello Ladies" echoed throughout the arena and Val Venis made his way out from the back for the next contest.

Venis was without his trademark towel and slid into the ring, taking Triple H by surprise with a flurry of hard right hands. Val whipped Triple H into the ropes, and ducked his head for an attempted back body drop, but Triple H hauled off and kicked him right in the face. He followed it up with a short arm clothesline, knocking Val to the mat. Triple H beat on his opponent with closed fists despite the referee's warning - it was clear he was using Venis as a means to send a message to Batista for next week. With Venis in the corner Triple H charged - running right into a boot from Venis. Val attempted a whip into the ropes, but Helmsley reversed and Val took the ride before running straight into an Arn Anderson like spine buster. The end had come as Triple H stalked his opponent and taunted him to reach his feet. Val did and received a kick to the midsection before Triple H hooked him up and delivered the Pedigree! Triple H covered staring right into the camera with an evil grin 1.. 2.. 3! Triple H posed to the dismay of the fans, running his hands around his waist - the message was clear he was ready for Batista next week.

It appeared that we were still watching the show from the arena but the camera panned back revealing that it was a Television Monitor that it was focusing on. He had been watching after all, and the Champion had a smile on his face as RAW went to commercial. Triple H looked ready, was Batista?

    WWE Women's Title Match

    Victoria versus Trish Stratus©

It was time to see who would leave RAW at the top of the Women's Division when the show returned. Victoria and Trish locked up to get things going, and it was clear that Victoria's size and strength advantage would help her get the better of the exchange. She took Trish to the mat with a headlock toss. Punishing her more Victoria kept the hold applied and Trish was soon in pinning criteria. 1.. 2.. Trish rolled to her stomach. Victoria released the hold and stood beside Trish. It was time for her trademark freaky dance followed by the standing moonsault and the crowd ate it up, but Victoria still wasn't able to hold Trish down. She continued her offensive lead, until she charged at Trish in the corner. Trish lifted her foot and took Victoria in the face before following it up with a bulldog.

Trish didn't let Victoria get to her feet, and showed the depth of her arsenal applying a half crab to her opponent. Victoria eventually made it to the ropes but the damage had been done. Trish remained in control until she attempted the Stratusfaction... Victoria powered out and dumped Trish right on her butt. The Women's Champion rolled out of the ring, and Victoria gave chase. Trish slid back into and Victoria fell into her trap. Trish was waiting and when Victoria slid in and got to her feet she was met by the Chick Kick! Trish covered her for the three count, and retained her title!

Trish wasn't done however. After the referee handed her the Women's title she rolled Victoria over and taunted it in her face. Trish slapped Victoria and then began kicking and stomping her, even shoving the referee away when he tried to stop her! Soon Christy Hemme ran down the ramp way and slid into the ring, but before she could do anything Trish rolled out of the ring with the Women's title over her shoulder and an arrogant grin on her face. Christy checked on Victoria - the damage had been done.

From there RAW went to the announce booth where Jim Ross and Jerry Lawler ran down the events that had already transpired in the night and reminded everyone that Benoit and Benjamin against Edge and Christian was yet to come.

    The Major Announcement...

"I'm Back" played throughout the arena and with it the General Manager of RAW, Eric Bischoff walked out to the ring. There were mostly boos for the GM, but there were some people happy to see him as his recent actions have been less malevolent than usual. Bischoff was handed the microphone after Lillian Garcia introduced him.

Eric Bischoff: "Thanks Lillian. Now last week you may have overheard me telling Coach that this week I would have a major announcement for you all - one that would not only concern RAW but the entire WWE as well! Now before I get to that right off let me speak on this. The WWE fans constantly want change, and if WrestleMania was any indication with Batista's becoming the new World Heavyweight Champion change is something that you RAW fans like. Well with that reaction at WrestleMania it really got me thinking, what could I do that would get the fans even more interested in what we have to offer here on RAW?"

Bischoff began to walk back and fourth with serious though on his face.

Eric Bischoff: "And then it hit me! Now this wasn't something that I had the authority to do on my own so I called up Smackdown! General Manager Theodore Long (The fans booed) and ran it by him. Now I know what you're thinking, it's not often that we see eye to eye but after I ran my proposal by him, he was sold as well and a date was set."

The fans still had no clue what Bischoff was talking about but it involved both RAW and Smackdown.

Eric Bischoff: "You see after WrestleMania XX Mr. McMahon had a similar proposition and it turned out quite well for both sides. Now as much as you RAW fans don't like Smackdown, you have to realize that there are many stars that I would love to get my hands on for RAW and Theodore Long feels the same. So on May second in Boston Massachusetts, the RAW immediately following Backlash there is going to be a Draft Lottery between RAW and Smackdown once again!"

The fans seemed to like the announcement, thinking of which superstars from Smackdown they'd like to see on RAW.

Eric Bischoff: "Five Superstars will be drafted from Smackdown to RAW and vice versa, live from Boston. Now I can't get into full detail and bore you all to death so I'll just hit on this. All superstars will be eligible for the draft, including Champions. Hey when Eric Bischoff say he has a major announcement, he delivers."

Bischoff tossed the microphone out of the ring and headed to the back while JR and the King sold the announcement as if Jesus was walking on earth.

Sylvain Grenier: "We we, this is not good."

Robert Conway: "You're damn right it's not!"

Conway and Grenier stood in the locker room shaking their heads - they obviously were not happy with Bischoff's announcement.

    The Masterlock Challenge?

From there a video package played, showing footage of the "Master Piece" Chris Masters in action forcing various opponents into submission with his version of the Full Nelson, the "Masterlock." Once the footage ends, Masters is shown posing in a darkened area - the shadows bouncing off of his muscular physique. Masters looked into the camera.

Chris Masters: "For weeks now the "Master Piece," the greatest work of art in all of the WWE has been forcing opponent after opponent into submission. For weeks I have proved why I am indeed the most marvelous physical specimen on RAW."

Masters took a moment to change his pose and flashbulbs went off, was he at a photo shoot?

Chris Masters: "Thus far... NO ONE has lasted in the ring with me; no one has been able to withstand my Masterlock. Well next week right here on RAW will be the start of the Masterpiece's own creation - the Masterlock Challenge! So RAW Superstars line up, if you think you've got what it takes to stop me then here's your chance. But I wouldn't get too excited, this work of art was built to stand the test of time!"

Masters smiled and continued to pose. The camera panned back and he continued to get smaller and smaller until the scene faded to black and RAW went to commercial break.

Now Kids When Mad, Don't Throw Flower Pots...

When RAW returned we were in the back, Eric Bischoff was shown in his office staring at the picture of himself with a smile on his face, he had to have been thinking what a genius he was because after BackLash RAW could possibly have some of Smackdown's brightest stars under contract. The door opened and Bischoff turned to see who it was, revealing the "Man Beast" Rhyno in street clothes. Bischoff didn't look surprised and took a seat behind his desk.

Rhyno: "You wanted to see me?"

Eric Bischoff: "You're damn right I wanted to see you! You see I heard about your little "incident" at the WrestleMania party, and I'm very disappointed. You're a WWE superstar, and even in public you represent RAW! You think I like getting it back to Vince McMahon that one of my RAW superstars acted barbarically in public? Well let me tell you, I DON'T! So Rhyno you leave me no choice but... to SUSPEND YOU!"

    Rhyno looked pissed off and snarled;

    Rhyno: "YOU'RE SUSPENDING ME!!?"

Eric Bischoff: "You're damn right I'm suspending you, and not just that I'm suspending you without pay... INDEFINATLEY!!! Now GET OUT OF MY OFFICE!"

Rhyno couldn't believe what he was hearing and after breathing heavily he stormed out of the office, slamming the door behind him so hard that it knocked Bischoff's picture right off of the wall! Bischoff tossed a pencil off of his desk and rubbed his forehead.

    A Challenge Made...

From there the lovely Maria was shown in the back with a microphone and next to her was the "Heart Break Kid," Shawn Michaels. The fans cheered at the sight of HBK, and Maria soon began the interview.

Maria: "Hey everyone Maria here, and I am standing alongside Shawn Michaels! Now Shawn we all saw what Hassan and Daivari did to you last week. Shawn".....

Shawn Michaels: "Woah.. hold on there little lady, let HBK take it from there. Last week Hassan and Daivari interrupted the Heart Break Kid and shot their mouths about how this ENTIRE country and company is against them, and then they proceeded to attack me two on one. Now Maria if it hadn't been for an old pal of mine - Marty Jannetty (fans cheer) who knows if ol' HBK would be standing here this week!"

Michaels took a moment to look into the camera with a serious face.

Shawn Michaels: "Now I don't know about this America holding them down crap, but I sure do know that they work well together when it's two on one! But I have to wonder... just how well do the two of them work together when it's say... TWO ON TWO!?"

The fans cheered catching on to what Michaels was hinting at.

Maria: "What are you saying Shawn, are you challenging Hassan and Daivari to a match?"

Shawn Michaels: "You're catchin' on, girl. You see Hassan and Daivari after last week HBK's got a partner, and we'd love to show you two a thing or two about just how this thing actually works. So what I'm proposing is this; Backlash - Hassan and Daivari against the Heart Break Kid and Marty Jannetty! If you thought the Rockers Reunion was somethin' Maria, the reunion tour is gonna be a whole helluva lot better! So Hassan and Daivari the ball's in your court, it's time to either put up... or shut up!"

Michaels walked off his challenge had been made, would Hassan and Daivari accept?

Maria: "Well there you have it! Back to you guys."

    Main Event: Tag Team Match

Shelton Benjamin & Chris Benoit versus Edge & Christian

It was Main Event time as the cameras returned to the arena. Edge's entrance music and video served for He, Christian and the Problem Solver Tyson Tomko. In Edge's hand was the trusty brief case containing the Contract for a World Heavyweight Title Match. The fans booed the men as they entered the ring, but the boos soon turned to cheers "Ain't no stopping me... NO" echoed over the speakers marking the entrance of the Intercontinental Champion Shelton Benjamin. He clapped hands with the fans, stopping at the bottom of the ramp and joining in a few choice words with Christian before "Whatever" by Our Lady Peace played and the fans gave Chris Benoit a standing ovation. Benoit and Benjamin shook hands and then slid into the ring. The match immediately began as all four men went at it - Benjamin targeting Christian and Benoit going for Edge. After the brief brawl referee Earl Hebner somehow regained order, deeming Christian and Benjamin the legal men.

Benjmin out wrestled Christian on the first exchange, taking him down with a double leg trip. Christian impressed the crowd with his ability to go hold for hold with a former All American Wrestler but soon relied on his Problem Solver to give him the distinct advantage tossing Benjamin to the outside and allowing Tomko to put the boots to the Intercontinental Champion. After Tyson sends Benjamin into the steel steps Hebner has seen enough and orders him to go to the back. Christian and Tomko argue with the referee as RAW takes it's final commercial break.

    ~ Commercial Break.

After what seemed like forever RAW came back on with Edge beating the hell out of Shelton Benjamin. We were informed that over the break Christian and Edge had continued to use double team tactics to wear down the Intercontinental Champion. Edge continued his offensive advantage for the next few moments and chocked Benjamin out with the ring ropes - pointing at Benoit and talking trash while doing it. Benjamin came back and ducked a clothesline attempt, following it up with a kick to the midsection, but Edge caught the leg. He held onto it and talked trash, but it came back to bite him as Benjamin nailed the spinning reverse enziguri.

Benoit slapped the turnbuckle pad and the fans got behind Benjamin who crawled in hopes of making the tag. Edge was soon up and went to stop him, but the hands connected. Benoit came in, flooring Edge with stinging chops before sending hem into the ropes and delivering a back body drop. Christian cheap shotted Benoit in the back of the head, and Chris knocked him off of the apron to return the favor. This proved as a good distraction setting Benoit up perfectly for the Spear - but Benoit evaded and Edge collided shoulder first into the ring post. Rollup by Benoit and Christan made the save. Edge rolled out of the ring while Christian had both the referee and Benoit's attention.

With Christian distracting the referee, Edge slid back into the ring with the brief case in hand and stalked Benoit. The Wolverine returned to his feet and Edge swung the object with one hand - Benoit countered and Edge soon found himself locked in to the Crippler Crossface! Christian stopped distracting the referee and ran into the ring, but Shelton Benjamin nearly took his head off with a super kick! You couldn't even see where the hell Benjamin came from he was so fast. The Intercontinental Champion followed Christian to the outside, Edge was fighting frantically to reach the ropes. He was in the center of the ring however and they were no where in sight. He tried to rollover to break the hold but Benoit followed and kept it locked, the Rabid Wolverine wrenched back even further and Edge had no choice but to give into the pain and tap out! Benoit had done it! He defeated the man with a shot at the World Heavyweight title any time he pleased, and above that he did it by submission! Benoit was joined by Benjamin at the top of the ramp, and a close up Edge's pissed off face ended the show.

    WWE RAW Television Preview

    For Monday April 11, 2005

Last week a huge WrestleMania rematch was signed for the April 18th edition of RAW by GM Eric Bischoff pitting Triple H against Batista for the World Heavyweight Title. With just one week remaining before RAW comes to Madison Square Garden, Triple H will step into the ring for action. Surely the only thing on Triple H's mind will be sending a message to the World Heavyweight Champion.

And speaking of the General Manager, last week Eric Bischoff was overheard telling the Coach that he'd have a monumental announcement this week that would effect not only RAW, but the entire WWE. What will this announcement be?

Number one contenders to William Regal and Tajiri's World Tag Team Titles will be named this week in a Triangle Tag-Team Match when the teams of Hurricane & Rosey, Simon Dean & Maven and La Resistance face off. Surely the Tag team Champions will be keeping a close eye on this one. Trish Stratus will also be in action as she defends the Women's Championship against the dangerous Victoria.

After the heinous attack by Daivari and Hassan last week, Shawn Michaels had an old friend to thank when Marty Jannetty made the surprise save. We expect to hear from HBK live on RAW this week. But that's not all as Chris Benoit returns to RAW after taking a week off due to injuries received on his arm during the Money in the Bank Ladder Match. Benoit teams with Intercontinental Champion Shelton Benjamin to take on the winner of the Money in the Bank Ladder Match, Edge and his brother Christian. All of this and more as RAW comes to you live!

    Scheduled Matches:

    - Simon Dean & Maven versus Hurricane & Rosey versus La Resistance

    - Triple H versus Val Venis

    - Trish Stratus versus Victoria

    - Chris Benoit & Shelton Benjamin versus Edge & Christian

  13. Interesting choices for the draft I was secretely hoping you'd take Val Venis from RAW where he is being terribly misused, and I hope you give him a decent character and push. Hardy wasn't a surprise, I thought for sure you'd have him make the jump, but the thing that surprised me most was the fact that JBL's entire Cabinet is gone! Bradshaw won't have such an Edge with his cronies gone. I'm betting we see Chris Benoit versus John Cena at Judgment Day, it's gotta be either him or Christian.

  14. -Nice opening with Jordon, if you're going to seriously build him up as a star it's nice to see him get some microphone time. I'm I doubt you're going to give the US Title to Booker T, perhaps the Bashams will be the deciding factor in this next match?

-Ah ha! Didn't think you'd pull the title off of Jordon but I wasn't expecting JBL to make a run in. If JBL doesn't win the title tonight (Which I don't think he's going to do) He needs a good feud, and Booker T can give him that.

-Another really good segment with Carlito, I think these will be the highlights of the show as you really capture his character well. I like that you went with something different than "Carlito's Cabana" for creativity. I just hope we don't see the Undertaker decimate Carlito then move on and get back to full time competition. I dunno, I just haven't been into the Undertaker at all since he dropped the Biker gimmick. But hell you made me like Randy Savage in your TNA diary I think you could probably do the same with Taker.

-The Kidman London match came off as watchable, but definatly not the match that they could really have if both were focused. I like how you're keeping the realism with the diary, and giving them about five minutes to work with like WWE actually does, if that makes sense. It'll be interesting to see who emerges as the serious challenger to London's title.

-Damn that evil coniving bastard Chavo! That was a very well written segment, and has me doubting whether Rey and Eddie will be able to hold onto the Tag Team titles later tonight. Really helped to build the heat between Rey and Eddie.

-Holy shit! Luther Reigns killed the Big Show! Hell, if you wanted Reigns to come off as a monster you definatly did it with that match, I was expecting Big show to destroy him and he comes out nearly (maybe he did) breaking Show's neck. Definatley didn't see that coming.

-Rey pulls the win out of his ass and they keep the titles. I guess that's a good thing because the longer they stay together the better the eventual split will be, though I don't think it's going to be too far away.

-Well it wasn't too far away at all, that little bastard Chavo comes out and takes the belt - that being the reason he was forcing the split all along. Great swerve there.

-JBL's interview came off pretty well - which makes me scared that you're going to put the title back on him and that's the last we see of Cena.

-Phew! Cena stays! Nice Main event, very WWE-esque with the Cabinet's run in and Booker T making the save. Since Raw has the Backlash Pay Per View it still gives you time to name a new challenger to Cena's title while Bradshaw feuds with Booker, I think that's where you might be going. But then again the draft could screw that all up.

-I enjoyed this weeks show, with the draft on Monday's RAW I guess next show we'll be seeing who comes in and who gets the boot. It'll be interesting to see what goes down. Keep up the good work, I'll be reading.

    WCW BASH AT THE BEACH

    Arena: MCI Center, Washington, DC

    Date: July 22, 2001

Music very similar to the JAWS theme serves as background music for the opening vignette that hypes up tonight's matches, especially pumped up in the video package are the Weapon of Choice Match as well as the World Heavyweight Title showdown. The montage ends with the Bash at the Beach logo and WE ARE LIVE inside of the MCI Center in Washington DC. Pyros go off, the fans are cheering and holding up their signs. Switch to the commentary position where the "Enforcer" Arn Anderson and Scott Hudson welcome everyone to the show. After running down the card for tonight's event, Hudson promises that this is going to be one to remember. With that we cut to the ring for tonight's opening match.

The Filthy Animals are out first, Shane McMahon must have been reviewing some WCW 2000 tapes because they stand behind a big white sheet, only the silhouetes of the three men are visible. The rap lyrics of their entrance song speeds up, and the sheet falls. With that Konnan and the WCW Cruiserweight Tag-Team Champions Rey Misterio, and Billy Kidman come out and do their best to get the fans on their feet. They are successful in doing so and shortly thereafter the Animals are in the ring with Kidman and Misterio posing in the corners while Konnan stands in the center of the ring and takes a microphone.

Konnan: "Yo! Yo! Yo! Le'me speak on this! Hola le'!"

In unison the fans respond echoing Konnan's statement.

    Konnan: "Ariba la' raza!"

Again, the same effect from the crazy.

Konnan: "And yo, yo! The Filthy Animals, the Cruiserweight Tag Champions Rey Rey, and Kidman alongside K-Dawg are in'da' house! And in just a few seconds these chumps, the Air Raid or whateva' they're callin' themselves are going to come on down ta' this ring and try to put us away for the 1.. 2.. 3.. but we all know that ain't gonna happen, 'cause the Filthy Animals are rowdy rowdy and"...

K-Dawg holds the microphone out and the fans continue Konnan's catchphrase with "Bowdy, bowdy!"

After the tongue lashing from Konnan, Air Raid was out next. Styles, Ramon and Air Paris each was dressed in matching throwback Adidas jump suits (Styles and Paris in green while Ramon wore slimming black and gold chains.) Their hired gun held the ropes allowing them into the ring where they ripped off the jumps suits showing their matching green short tights, and padded boots. Ramon simply took off his top, more than happy to compete with gold chains and parachute pants.

Six Man Tag-Team Match: Rey Misterio, Billy Kidman and Konnan versus AJ Styles, Air Paris and Ramon

The much smaller AJ Styles and Air Paris decide that they might be better off having Ramon start the match against the man he recorded a victory over a couple weeks back on Unleashed, Konnan. After tying up Ramon tosses Konnan into the corner and begins to pound away with clenched fists. The referee warns him that they are against the rules and he goes for an Irish Whip but Konnan counters and sends Ramon across the ring into the corner. The big man bounces out and Konnan nails his trade mark rolling thunder clothesline! Ramon falls down to the mat, and Konnan wastes little time putting the boots to him. Konnan pulls him back to his feet and walks him into enemy territory before tagging in Billy Kidman. K-Dawg holds up Ramon's arms and exposes the ribs - the perfect opportunity for Kidman nail him with the knee.

Scott Hudson: "The Filthy Animals are doing the smart thing here, Arn. They're keeping the big man in their corner wand wering him down.

Kidman pulls Ramon up, not letting off, and pounds away with shots to his face. He grabs the big mans arm and attempts to send him into the ropes, but Ramon reverses and Kidman takes the ride, on the rebound Billy Kidman is leveled with a power slam. Ramon hooks the leg, but only gets a two. He walks over and tags in AJ Styles. Styles comes in quick and goes for an irish whip, but the Cruiserweight Tag Champion counters and Styles takes the ride to the ropes before being scooped up into a Tilt-a-Whirl back breaker! Styles holds his back in agony and rolls onto his belly. Kidman climbs to the top rope before coming off with the Guillotine Legdrop onto the neck of AJ Styles! Cover and 1... 2... kick out. Kidman takes Styles by the foot and drags him into the Animals' corner before tagging in Rey Misterio junior.

Scott Hudson: "It's been the Filthy Animals controlling the match up so far, and now here comes the man that pound for pound I believe is the greatest Cruiserweight in the World today."

Styles is back to his feet and heading to his corner, but Misterop charges in the ring and takes the young man down with a bull dog. After a few stomps to the chest he lifts Styles to standing position, Rey charged the ropes but didn't get the desired outcome as Styles jumps up and nearly takes his head off with a martial arts kick! Misterio rolled out of the ring holding his jaw, Styles teases the crowd a bit and Rey junior slides back in under the bottom rope. The two exchanged a series of holds with Styles coming out on top and taking Rey to the mat with a hammerlock. The young Georgia native apples a chinlock on Misterio, and scissors his legs around the body. After a few moments of teasing the idea, Misterio gets a grip on the bottom rope forcing Styles to break the hold. Angered, Styles does so and tags in partner Air Paris. The two walk over and lift Rey junior up, bringing him to the mat with a double brain buster. Styles is forced back into his corner, and Paris goes for the cover. 1.. 2.. Misterio's never say die attitude allows him to kick out! Air Paris keeps Rey grounded over the next few moments, working his back. Paris lifts Misterio up, and slams him down to the mat and makes a rolling motion with his hands - the signal that he is going up top.

He does so, climbing to the very top rope, then he leaps off with a moonsault - NO ONE'S HOME! Misterio holds his back while reaching for his partners. Konnan and Kidman are clapping and stomping on the mats doing what they can to get the fans behind Rey junior. The fans in return are stomping their feet and rallying behind the Cruiserweight Tag Champion. Paris is up first and he crawls to Rey before making a leap at his leg - Rey leaped as well, forcing Air Paris to come up short and at the same Rey junior tagged in Billy Kidman! Air Paris does his best Ric Flair, on his knees begging for the Cruiserweight Tag Team Champion not to hit him, but Kidman will have none of it, and he unleashes the fury. With Air Paris leaning against the rope, Kidman gives him an irish whip and nearly takes his head off with a dropkick. Cover 1.. 2.. Ramon breaks the count! The big man lifts Kidman up to his feet, and tosses him to the outside of the ring! Konnan and Rey hit the ring, and Styles joins into the foray. The referee has lost all control of the match, as Konnan hits a rolling thunder clothesline sending Ramon over the top rope and to the outside! Air Paris and AJ Styles whip Misterio into the ropes they go for a double flap jack, but Misterio hangs on and lands a double ddt on both men! Styles rolls to the outside while Paris lays in the corner. Misterio isn't finished however as he leaps to the outside with a suicide plancha taking out Konnan, and Styles, Ramon was brely grazed in the move. Inside of the ring Kidman has brought the fight back to Air Paris but it doesn't last long as Ramon rushes into the ring and plants the Cruiserweight Tag champion with the Flight Delay! Kidman was turned inside out with the move, and as Ramon rolls back to the outside Air Paris makes the cover. 1.. 2.. 3!

WINNERS: Air Paris, AJ Styles and Ramon!

With a brawl still going on outside of the ring we are taken to a video vignette showing the defeaced United States Championship in black and white footage. The Canadian Flag waves, the red of the flag is the only object in color. Then while the voice over speaks, events leading up to the signing of this match-up are shown.

"Tonight, a first ever match in WCW History. Five athletes step into the ring to do battle in a contest that could prove to be one of the most brutal in history. 5 men one title. Who will walk away with the Gold?"

Back to the arena, we are taken to Hudson and Anderson at ringside.

Scott Hudson: "Well folks, up next Lance Storm puts the WCW United States Championship, well in his mind *In a rather degrading tone* the Canadian Heavyweight Championship on the line in a first ever match here in World Championship Wrestling, Arn."

Arn Anderson: "That's right Scott, this Canadian Fury Penalty Box Match combines the tradition rules of a ladder match with a few new elements. For instance pinfalls and submissions are valid in this one, should a wrestler be pinned or forced to submit they go into on of the "Penalty Boxes" at ringside for two minutes and then are allowed back into the match."

Scott Hudson: "Basically the man that is able to survive in this one, the man that can climb the ladder and retrieve the United States Title will be the Champion."

Arn Anderson: "Lets head to the ring."

'Canadian Fury' Penalty Box Match for the United States Championship:

Lance Storm© versus Buff Bagwell, Shawn Stasiak, Rob Van Dam and Mike Awesome

Inside of the arena the ring is set up very distinctively, and new to the World Championship Wrestling audience. At three sides of the ring, a large white wooden booth is set up, each with flexi-glass windows on the front and a red Canadian Maple Leaf on the back. The booths each read "Penalty box." A ladder stands at the foot of the entrance ramp. Hanging fifteen feet in the air is the defaced United States Championship. Each man makes their way to the ring with their separate entrances. Scott Hudson tells everyone just how volatile of a situation this is with five men actively fighting in the ring at the same time.

The bell rings and immediately the reigning United States champion is singled out by Mike Awesome, Rob Van Dam and Buff Bagwell. The three men begin their offensive flurry at his expense, and soon enough the US Champion is wishing he was at home. Stasiak stands back watching the event unfold as Mike Awesome levels Storm with a power slam. Buff Bagwell asks that he gets his turn, and the former Champion climbs to the second rope before nailing an elbow drop to Storm's chest. In unison Bagwell and Awesome point at Van Dam who does the thumb taunt and then bounces off the ropes before connecting with the Rolling Thunder on Lance Storm! Storm rolls out of the ring and now the three men turn their attention to Shawn Stasiak who tries to plea his way out of the oncoming assault.

They don't go for it however and soon enough the three men pick Stasiak up and toss him to the outside right onto Lance Storm, and both men crash into the barricade! The crowd gives the faces their due, but the teamwork comes to an end as Buff Bagwell takes the opportunity to chop block Awesome from behind and down to the mat. Bagwell mounts Awesome and starts putting the fists to his face. Van Dam however is opportunistic as well, bouncing off of the ropes and landing a dropkick right into Bagwell’s face! Storm folds up the braces on the ladder and slides it into the ring. Stasiak is back in the foray and as Awesome clotheslines Bagwell to the floor Stasiak jumps from the top rope and connects with a clothesline to Rob Van Dam. Storm picks up the ladder and does his best Terry Funk spinning around with it on his shoulders and taking out everyone in sight! The US Champion takes the time to put the ladder in position and begins his ascension. Storm is cut off however as Mike Awesome reaches up and pulls him off of the device.

Awesome is met by a huge right hand to the jaw courtesy of one Shawn Stasiak! The “Career Killer” hits the mat hard, Stasiak puts his foot over his throat and begins choking the life out of him, grabbing the top rope and applying immense force, but Stasiak’s spur of offense soon comes to an end as Van Dam and Bagwell begin to lay blows to the back. Stasiak stumbles sternum-first against the top rope, and his opponents don't give up at all. The two men then double whip Stasiak into the ropes but before they can hit any offensive move Lance Storm clubs them both to the mat with the Ladder! Stasiak lifts Van Dam up and tries his hand one on one with “Mr. Pay Per View.” They tie up, and Van Dam easily wins the exchange and after a go behind he send him into the ropes and nearly takes his head off with a spin kick! Stasiak rolls out of the ring and Van Dam follows suit.

Bagwell and Storm are battling it out and after slamming the US Champion to the mat, Bagwell checks on Awesome. Awesome however is sick of playing allies and pushes him away. Bagwell puts out his arms and asks "What the hell?" but Awesome takes him down with a hard short arm clothesline, it is truly every man for himself in this one! Storm runs at Awesome, and takes him down to the mat with a deadly chop block to the back of the knees. Bagwell gets up, and Storm hops over the fallen Awesome, landing a near perfect forearm shiver to the face of the former United States Champion. Buff stumbles backward, Storm takes him by the arm and whips him into the ropes with great velocity, Buff runs for the opposite ropes, and comes back off with a forearm smash on Lance Storm! On the Outside Rob Van Dam and Shawn Stasiak have been trading blows back and fourth, and finally Stasiak gains the distinct advantage, sending RVD right into the steel steps! The sound of his body connecting with the cold steel is almost sickening! Shawn takes the "Whole Dam Show" by the back of the neck, and rolls him into the ring once again.

Awesome and Bagwell have hammered Lance Storm inside of the ring... Mike Awesome tucks Storm's head between his legs, and Bagwell helps him lift him into the air.

Scott Hudson: “Great teamwork by Bagwell and Mike Awesome here, Awesome is looking for the Awesome Bomb Arn… oh.. OH MY.. NO WAY!!!!”

Mike Awesome charges for the ropes, and launches Lance Storm to the outside and right onto one of the Penalty Boxes with an Awesome Bomb! The Wooden structure collapses with the force of the move, and the WCW United States Champion is shown in the debris of what used to be a penalty box!

Arn Anderson: “Mike Awesome just power bombed Lance Storm through one of the Penalty Boxes! I can’t believe what I just witnessed!”

Scott Hudson: “This folks is World Championship Wrestling!”

A holy shit chant erupts in the crowd as Storm lies motionless in the debris. In the far corner, Van Dam and Stasiak continue their battle Van Dam has Stasiak in the corner and he is leveling him with kicks to the midsection. The crowd is getting behind an adrenaline fueled Mike Awesome who levels Buff Bagwell with a side slam! Awesome says that he is going up top and does so jumping off of the top rope and connecting with a Frog Splash! Awesome hooks the leg of Bagwell 1.. 2.. 3! Buff Bagwell has been pinned and will now be forced into one of the remaining two penalty boxes for two minutes.  Awesome takes the time to get a breather as Shawn Stasiak goes for another hard right hand on RVD but Rob gets an arm up and blocks... Bam! hard right hand from “Mr. Saturday Night” to the face of the “Mecca!” Again! Again! Stasiak is reeling, and Van Dam charges at his opponent, Stasiak ducks............ CRACK! VAN DAM GOES DOWN HARD!! Missing Stasiak with the clothesline, Awesome did connect to Van Dam accidentally, and his opponent hits the mat hard. Stasiak uses the distraction and charges at him after with an axe handle smash.

Stasiak swings a right hand, but Awesome counters and locks both of his hands around the back of Shawn’s head with a full nelson. Then the “Career Killer” slams him to the mat with a Full Nelson Slam! Awesome makes the cover, 1, 2… Van Dam breaks the count with a Five Star Frog Splash onto both Awesome and Stasiak!

Scott Hudson: “Brilliant move by Van Dam he just took them both out at the same time!”

Awesome rolls off of Stasiak grabbing his back, RVD makes the cover on Stasiak 1.. 2.. 3! Shawn Stasiak must now go into one of the Penalty Boxes for the duration of two minutes! Just as he enters one, Bagwell’s time has expires and he joins Van Dam and Awesome in the ring. A close up on Lance Storm on the outside and he is still motionless. Awesome evades a blind charge from RVD, and takes him to the mat with a reverse DDT! Van Dam is down after being flattened and Bagwell has the Ladder in hand.

Awesome turns around and he gets clubbed with the weapon right on the head knocking him to the mat. Buff sets up the Ladder in the middle of the ring and starts his climb for the belt. He is nearly there when RVD meets him on the other side. They battle back and fourth, and after Van Dam smashes Buff’s head off of the ladder he falls to the mat. It looks as if Van Dam is going to be the new US Champion, but suddenly the Ladder is tipped over by Lance Storm who is back from the dead! RVD spills out to the floor, and Storm quickly sets the ladder back up. Climbing up to the top he is soon met by Mike Awesome, but it’s too late as Storm pulls the title down and into his possession.

WINNER: Lance Storm, still WCW United States Champion

    -OR:77 -CR:73 -MQ:82

Storm holds the title in his arms and quickly rolls out of the ring. Awesome tips the ladder over, and shouts in frustration. From there we go to a video package hyping up tonight's bout for the World Tag-Team Titles.

WCW World Tag Team Title Match

Palumbo & O'Haire© versus Conway and Dinsmore

Each team makes their way out to the ring, and the fans give hell to the reigning Champs of O'Haire and Palumbo. It was just last month that the young team of Conway and Dinsmore upset the two for the Tag Team Titles, would they be able to do it again tonight? Palumbo and Dinsmore start things off after the champs hand the titles to referee Charles Robinson. Both men stare each other down, the animosity between the two is all too clear as they stand just inches apart, literally nose to nose. This has been the hottest rivalry in the Tag Team Division for quite some time.

Dinsmore is the quicker of the two, rattling Palumbo with a strong left hand before following up with a sturdy right and pushing his him into the corner and laying into him with some quick, sharp jabs to the ribs, hurting the larger superstar so much that he folds over in the corner and bends down to protect his chest while gasping for air. Palumbo begins to fight back with some powerful shots to the side of the young superstar. The battle that ensues not unlike a boxing encounter, with both men exchanging shots to various parts of the body, neither backing away, both believing that they can emerge the victor in this impromptu fist to face encounter. The mini fight is ended when Dinsmore uses an elbow to wrap his opponent in the head and then hit a russian legsweep. Not letting Palumbo get back to his feet, Dinsmore charges at his adversary with a solid knee to the head, almost decapitating the Tag Champion, and leaving him dazed on the canvas. Seeing a good chance for a pin fall, he covers. 1.. 2.. Palumbo isn’t done yet and lifts up his right shoulder as the crowd to a person yell out a universal "boo"!

The match continues with neither man really gaining an advantage. Five minutes in, there is a breakthrough. As both men face each other again, it is Palumbo who uses his brilliant speed to his advantage, punking out Nick Dinsmore with a swift attack. Palumbo brings his knee quickly into the stomach of Nick and, still holding the arm, decides to climb the turnbuckle right to the top. Now Palumbo, proving that even a large man can perform like a Cruiserweight, flies off the top nailing Dinsmore with a Sky High DDT! He decides against a cover on this occasion and uses the time he has to mount another attack on the young superstar. Picking him up by his head, Palumbo then slams Dinsmore down, putting him into position for his next attack. The big man climbs to the second rope and goes to drop the forearm, but Dinsmore telegraphs this move and lifts his knees up, connecting perfectly with the chest of Palumbo and leaving both men gasping for air on the mat. Seeing that they both need to tag out and get the fresher men in, the two begin to crawl slowly over to their respective corners and manage to stretch out for a tag… Palumbo hitting the hand of Sean O'Haire initially before Dinsmore brings in Conway.

Conway looks over to the crowd before raising his hand in the air. Upon receiving a fair amount of cheers, the superstar jumps into a collar and elbow tie-up with the larger O'Haire that he gets the better of, using a go behind he locks on a hammerlock but O'Haire is in the corner and Conway releases it on the referee’s warning. As he walks away, O'Haire quickly slaps Conwayl on the chest to the sound of "Wooo!" from the crowd. O'Haire follows this attack up with a sharp knee which lands a little low of the belt. Conway winces as the referee gives Sean O' a stern telling off for his dirty actions. However, it seems that the illegal move has paid off because Conway is clearly in some discomfort as he crouches down in the corner. O'Haire acts like nothing has happened and approaches his opponent again, this time grabbing the head of his smaller opponent, clearly setting himself up for a big move. Another low knee lands, this time obscured from the referee’s view, before Sean uses his impressive strength, lifting Conway high into the air before hitting an impressive Reverse Fireman's Carry - a move Hudson dubs the Widow Maker. That gets the crowd frantic, the move may have ended the match as O'Haire makes the cover. 1.. 2.. Kick out from Conway! O'Haire looks slightly annoyed at his lack of ability to put this man away. He then gets back to his feet as conway struggles, finally using the ring ropes to gain a vertical base.

The pair lock up, with O'Haire gaining the immediate advantage, using his power to shove Conway back into the corner of the ring. He then charges at the relatively new superstar and attempts a running knee, but Rob Conway moves and the only connection is O'Haire into the turnbuckle. This hurts the big man, but he doesn’t stay down, quickly punching the resurgent Conway in the stomach and using him as leverage to get back into a standing position. Once back up to a vertical base, he attempts a quick snap suplex, but is foiled by a strong knee to the chest from the Kentucky native. With a possible advantage in the making, Conway uses the opportunity to deliver a supremely impressive spear, taking both men to the mat. Breathing heavily, he attempts a pin fall that has the possibility of ending this encounter. 1…..2... O'Haire kicks out.

Getting back to his feet, O'Haire looks upset at almost losing this topsy-turvy fight against the fledgling team of Conway and Dinsmore. Walking back over to his opponent, he swings a wild left that misses Conway, resulting in a retaliatory chest chop from the superstar, followed by another. This makes O'Haire step back. As he does so, he swings around behind O'Haire and doesn’t think twice about grabbing the neck of the bigger guy, slamming him down back of the head first to the mat. He makes the cover but Palumbo hits the ring and pulls him off. Palumbo follows it up by tossing Conway shoulder first into the ring post! Dinsmore runs in, but Palumbo sensed that this would happen and he drops down grabbing the top rope and creating a low bridge. Dinsmore's own momentum sends him crashing to the outside. Palumbo signals out Conway who is holding his shoulder and delivers a Jungle Kick right to the face! O'Haire climbs to the top and delivers the Sean-ton Bomb! O'Haire makes the cover, 1, 2, 3! The Tag Champions have retained their titles.

WINNERS: Sean O'Haire and Chuck Palumbo, still WCW Tag Team Champions

The crowd boos at the outcome, but O'Haire and Palumbo don't care they've still got the World Tag Team Titles - the titles they hold in their hands as they walk up the rampway.

While the ring is being cleared, and the ring crew is at work we are taken to a hype video for the ongoing feud between Shane Helms and Hugh Morrus.

    "Raleigh Street Fight"

'Sugar' Shane Helms versus Hugh Morrus

When the cameras go to the ring for this one, again it is set up rather uniquely. In two opposing corners trashcans are tied to the turnbuckles, and each one is full of weapons. Shane Helms is out first he isn't wearing his short tights, rather the silver UFO pants he wore in his III Count days, he's wearing a WCW shirt as well. Helms searches through one of the trashcans tied to the turnbuckle in order to find a weapon, thus giving himself the early advantage.

Hugh Morrus is out next, throwing caution to the wind he wears his regular attire, a black singlet with "No Laughing Matter" written on it. Morrus slides into the ring and Helms charges right at him with a singapore cain that he found in the trashcan whilst Morrus’ entrance was being made.  Although caught off guard by the sudden attack, Morrus has enough about him to remain composed, kicking the weapon out of the hand of Helms as he wields it out in front of him. The cain slides across the ring and out to the padded concrete floor. The second kick is aimed directly at the head of Helms, but the superstar ducks underneath his leg, before producing a quick sweep of his own, taking the big man down to the mat.  This early advantage is short lived though because as Shane approaches Hugh, he receives a nasty kick to the shin that causes him to reel back in pain. The quick thinking move allows the big man to get back up to his feet before brushing himself down and preparing to mount an attack of his own.

Morrus has come into the match fully prepared and walks over to Helms with his hand outstretched, beckoning a handshake from his opponent.  However, the Carolina native is too wise for this tactic and walks away from Morrus, but makes the mistake of turning his back to the superstar and is soon recieving heavy blows to the back. Morrus grabs the waist of Helms and lifts him up before crashing him back down with a belly to belly suplex. He his skull in an attempt to relieve the pain as Morrus springs back up to his feet and points at Helms before laughing hysterically. Knowing that he has a little time on his hands, Hugh Morrus walks over to the nearest trashcan before pulling out a large baking tray. He hits the tray against the side of the trashcan, making a loud tinny sound before walking back over to Helms, who is lying prone in the middle of the ring. In a somewhat cocky manner, Morrus taps his foot impatiently on the floor as he waits for his opponent to get to his feet. Sure enough, Shane Helms somewhat worse for wear, does get back to a vertical base, but not for long as the baking tray connects with a loud clang against his head, bringing him to the mat instantly.  Hugh throws the weapon over the top rope and out of the ring before making a cover on his opponent.  1……2… kick out from Helms; it’s going to take more than that to keep this fighter down today!

Morrus gets back to his feet, a little frustrated at not being able to wrap this fight up in the early going. Although still groggy from the metal shot, Helms also gets to his feet and the two begin to trade shots with venom, trying to gain the advantage in this standoff.  Every right from Helms is countered by an equally powerful left from Hugh Morrus and it appears that neither will gain the advantage.  However, as Helms reels up for another strike, Hugh Morrus acts in a terribly heinous way by jabbing two fingers in the former Cruiserweight Champion's right eye. This causes momentary blindness and the big man follows up with a stiff clothesline that takes Helms right down to the floor. Instead of going for the cover, Morrus decides to further wrap his opponent in pain by applying a version of a camel clutch. "Sugar" Shane scrambles over to the bottom rope, which he grabs desperately forcing the hold to be broken. The referee steps in to break the hold as Hugh Morrus once again gets a little irate, only breaking the hold after he is forced to by the official. Finally he lets go and springs back to his feet.  Shane is still feeling a little worse for wear and his right eye has swollen slightly from the vicious poke delivered a short time ago.  Nonetheless, he does get back to his feet slowly, using the ropes for extra leverage. Hugh Morrus sees the opportunity for a quick attack and charges at Helms while he's is still helping himself up.  However, the ring smart Helms is ready and casually creates a low bridge by pulling the top rope down, sending Morrus hurtling to the outside before colliding heavily with the barricade wall. Just like that, the sway of this match has completely reversed; such is the wealth of talent and excitement in World Championship Wrestling.

Seeing that his opponent is lying prone on the hard floor, Shane walks over to the nearest trashcan before taking out what looks like an electric cattle prod.  This is undoubtedly an insanely dangerous weapon to use and Helms rolls out of the ring with it in his hand and a sick smile on his face. Looking down at Morrus, the man drives the prod towards his opponent, but with mere split seconds to spare, He rolls right out of the way and to momentary safety. Helms, although frustrated, takes the prod out of the rubber coated barricade wall as grey smoke billows from the safety structure.  He then walks over to Hugh Morrus, who is frantically trying to scramble back to his feet. As tough as the big man is, there is no-one in the business who could cope with having a cattle prod burning at their skin. This chase continues around the ring, as Helms looks to finish this off, once and for all. Hugh is now up on his feet and manages to slide right back into the ring, followed by Helms, who suddenly becomes vulnerable to an attack as he slides under the bottom rope.  Thinking quickly, Morrus stomps on the hand of Helms, which causes him to release the weapon.  Morrus then collects the prod and tosses it out of the ring. Once Helms is to his feet, Morrus throws a haymaker in the direction of Helms, but the shot is blocked, before "Sugar" Shane does something beyond impressive. After blocking the initial shot, Helms leaps up onto the top rope, before grabbing the head of Hugh Morrus, spinning round and drilling it into the mat with force. The move is so good that the crowd spontaneously bust out cheers. The Big Man is now worse for wear and is subsequently pinned by the resilient Helms.  1……2….. Desperate kick out!

This time it is Shane Helms who gets up to his feet the quicker and, seeing that Hugh Morrus is still lying on the floor, he jumps up onto the top turnbuckle in one smooth leap. Signalling to the crowd, he takes a deep breath before leaping off of the turnbuckle, spinning through a full 450 degrees in the air, but he lands in a crumpled heap on the floor. Morrus had recovered in time and managed to move out of the way, leaving nothing but canvas for the highflying superstar! There is a collective groan from the crowd, who appear to be rooting for underdog in this one, shunning Morrus in the process. This doesn’t seem to bother the cocksure superstar as he slowly but surely regains a foothold in this fight. As soon as he gets to his feet, he lifts Helms back up to his feet by his head. Morrus then delivers a powerful knee shot to the gut of his opponent before delivering a tremendous whip right across the ring and into one of the trashcans, which becomes dislodged from its tie and spreads the contents of the can all over that corner of the ring.  Now with the match in the palm of his hand, Hugh Morrus walks over to the assortment of weapons, before collecting a small strap. With the weapon in his right hand, Morrus strides over to where Helms is lying after the heavy whip. In a moment of sickening brutality, Hugh Morrus lifts the head of Helms before smacking him again and again in the face with the leather strap. Shane shouts loudly in pain.

Once again, Morrus forces his opponent back to his feet but surprisingly, Helms responds with an elbow to the gut of the bigger opponent before throwing a wild right hand that connects with the temple of the superstar. Reeling backwards, Morrus appears to be in a little trouble as he stumbles around. Helms uses this sudden advantage well by delivering a perfectly crafted dropkick that knocks Morrus right down in the middle of the ring. Thinking quickly, he collects a steel chair that was removed from the trashcan before clutching it tightly and running against one set of ropes, performing a brilliant moonsault, causing the chair to connect with the chest of Hugh Morrus. This also forces a pinning predicament and one that could very well win the match for the former Cruiserweight Champion as the referee begins the count.  1……2…... Shoulder up from Morrus! Seemingly down for the count, the man lifts his left shoulder up with no time left to spare. Helms buries his head in his hands, thinking that he had this match won.

Helms picks the man up to his feet but Morrus shrugs off his arms and kicks him in the gut. Morrus then tucks Helms' head between his legs and delivers a brutal sit-out powerbomb! He could have the match won here, but doesn't go for the cover. Instead Morrus reaches into one of the trashcans and pulls out a small sack. Then in a shocking moment, he dumps out the contents of the package - hundreds of thumb tacks spill to the mat! A sickening look overcomes the face of Hugh Morrus as he stalks Shane Helms. Helms gets to his feet, and Morrus whips him into the ropes before lifting him up with a military press. The fans gasp as they contemplate what will happen next because Hugh Morrus looks at the tacks and is going to drop Helms on theme - until Helms slides off of Morrus' back. When Hugh turns around, he is met by the "Sugar Smack" Superkick! He wobbles backward - and the crashes down onto the mat, and right onto the thumb tacks! Helms makes the cover, 1, 2, 3! Shane Helms has defeated Hugh Morrus in a sheer brutal encounter!

    WINNER: Shane Helms

    -OR:65 -CR:61 -MQ:70

The EMT's immeadiatly rush to the ring to aid Hugh Morrus as hundred of tacks are visibly stuck in his skin. Helms rolls out of the ring the winner, but after that brutal contest it seems that neither man could feel like one.

    "Weapon of Choice Match"

    Scott Steiner versus Jeff Jarrett

The lights go out and the crowd falls silent. The anticipation in the arena begins to grow. And then it arrives as "Holla if you hear me" is said over the speakers marking the entrance of the "Big Bad Booty Daddy." Steiner comes to the ring without Midajah, neither her or Debra will be allowed at ringside due to the potentially violent nature of this match. Steiner has the lead pipe in his hand - his weapon of choice for the night.

Scott Hudson: "This one isn't going to be pretty, and it's not going to be a technical marvel. This is going to be ugly, it's going to be a fight."

"Ch-ch-chosen One!" Jarrett's music hits and "Double J" comes out to the ring with the weapon that has been his favorite throughout his career, the weapon dubbed the "Acoustic Equalizer;" his good ol' six string guitar. Jeff points at Steiner in the ring and spouts out discouraging remarks before sliding in the ring. Steiner doesn't even wait for the bell, and swings the lead pipe wildly - Jarrett had ducked just in time to miss it and kicked Steiner's knee out from behind forcing him to drop the pipe on his way down to the mat.

The opening bell sounds Jarrett rains in on his opponent with some very heavy right and left hands, rocking the former WCW World Champion, who has little choice other than to cover up and block any serious damage. However, as the rabid shots continue to fly in, they become more and more ragged, before the closed fist punch emerges, prompting Nick Patrick to jump right into the fray and hauls Jarrett off of Steiner. As the referee checks up on Steiner who has been caught by surprise with Jarrett's quick offensive flurry, Jeff takes advantage of the situation by pouncing down on his opponent once again, laying into him with a violent knees that connect right in the center of Steiner's previously injured back. As Scott screams out in pain, Jeff stands over him pointing in his face and verbally abusing "Big Poppa Pump." Steiner snaps and grabs Jarrett by the throat, he gets up and lifts the "Chosen One" in the air before slamming him back down with the Military Press.

Jarrett shakes the cobwebs from his head before grabbing the middle rope and hauling himself back up to his feet. Steiner runs right back at Jarrett, but before he can cause any more damage, Jeff drops to the floor, and Steiner calls him on. After a few moments Jeff got back into the ring, and evaded an oncoming clothesline before nailing a near-picture perfect standing dropkick that takes Scott off of his feet momentarily. This move does little damage to him, but it does give Jarrett a slight rest as both men get back to their feet at similar times.

With the weapons still untouched, both Steiner and Jarrett commence a stare down that could stop the world. Both men want this more than anything and they tie up again, this time in a collar and elbow fashion. This move seems to suit the more powerful man and Steiner pushes Jarrett right into the corner of the ring, before slapping him hard across the chest! Jeff looks more than annoyed at this impromptu showing of superiority, so he decides to react in another dirty fashion… with a good old poke in the eye. Freakzilla recoils and receives a very strong clothesline across the throat that takes him to the ground, clutching at his sore eye as Jeff smiles to himself and does the arrogant ric Flair strut much to the dismay of the fans. For the first time in this match, Jeff looks over to the guitar, knowing that he could really gain the advantage here. With seemingly boundless enthusiasm, Jeff heads toward the weapon.

However, Jeff can't get ahold of his weapon because Steiner has regained his composure and nails a forearm into the small of Jeff's back, causing the veteran to rock a little. Another strike and the match is once again playing into Steiner's hands. As Jeff teeters on the turnbuckle, the massive Steiner gets into position… FRANKENSTEINER!! Right off of the top rope! Jeff hits the ground extremely hard, knocking the air right from his lungs in the process. Steiner hadn't used the move in ages, but in the past it put away many good men. Steiner got up and realized he had a choice, he can either go for the pin and possible three count or he can grab that pipe he brought to the ring and do some major damage to his bitter rival…

Steiner chose the latter, Scott picked up the pipe that lied in the corner. He shook it around taunting for Jeff to get on his feet, he does so and comes charging at Jarrett, but with cat like quickness Jarrett drops to his ass and rolls to the outside once again! Scott follows and chases Jarrett around the outside of the ring, Jeff slides in and Steiner does too. Jeff was ready however and stomped on Scott's hand forcing him to release the weapon. A smart trick employed by the Chosen One. Jeff climbs to the second rope and stalks Steiner, when Scott gets off Double J jumped off of the ropes and landed a dropkick to the back of Steiner. He went for the cover but Scott kicked out at two.

Now with the match in his control, Jarrett lifts Steiner to his feet before planting a kick right to the big man’s midsection, not low enough to grab the referee’s attention though. This then leads into an excellent DDT from Jarrett, who looks to have the whole situation very much under command. Rolling Steiner over, Jeff runs against the ropes again, before landing a legdrop right onto the face of his opponent. Jarrett then goes for the cover with a facial expression that seems to say "I’ve got this one won". The referee is soon down to the floor, making the count. 1…….2…. Freakzilla gets a shoulder up! A loud "2!!" sounds from many areas of the MCI Center.

Not wanting to let the near fall get him down, Jeff is soon back on the job, landing some stomps onto the chest of Steiner, who feels each and every one of them. The big man is in some degree of trouble, but manages to fight his way back to his feet, using some well aimed body punches to overpower the Tennesee native. Jarrett, seeing that his offence is doing precious little against the angry Steiner, begins to throw more panicked shots at the chest of the much larger wrestler, but they are having little effect and the final one is blocked by Big Poppa, who then whips Jarrett against the ropes, before hitting a big back body drop on his foe.

Without letting Jeff get even a moment’s rest, Steiner picks the guy up from the floor and whips him against the ropes again, before landing a straight kick to Jarrett's chest. As Jeff doubles over in pain, he is soon tied up, and then tossed over the big man's head with a Belly to Belly Suplex!!!! Jarrett lands right on his head as the move gets its full purchase. Scott is soon back up and looks over towards the pipe again, before walking quickly over to the corner where it is positioned. Without second thought, he grabs the pipe and holds it up in the air. The fans go wild.Jarrett is up, and Scott stalks him. He raises the pipe up and goes to bring it down but Jeff kicks him below the belt! Steiner doubles over in pain, and Jarrett nails THE STROKE!!! The match is over as Jeff Jarrett just used his finishing move! Hook of the leg and Jarrett is exhausted; 1, 2... STEINER KICKS OUT!

Jarrett is ripping his hair out as the referee holds up two fingers, he begins pounding the mat in frustration, the walks over and grabs the guitar. Jarrett is stalking Steiner as he gets to his feet, then he swings the guitar - Steiner saw it coming and dodges the attack, Jarrett isn't so lucky as the guitar bounced off of the ropes and catches him right in the face! A wobbly Jarrett stumbles back - to get caught with an Over the head Belly to Belly Suplex! Scott grabs the pipe once again and this time he rolls Jeff onto his stomach and locks on the Steiner Recliner - with the pole across Jeff's throat. It's not too long after and the referee calls for the bell as Jarrett has slipped away into unconsciousness!

    WINNER: Scott Steiner

Steiner keeps the hold applied and the referee counts to four, then Big Poppa Pump released Jarrett and raised got his arm raised. Steiner has been victorious in his return match on Pay Per View!

  16. WWE RAW Brand News and Notes

For the Week of April 4, 2005

*It seems that RhYno is in the WWE dog house, as numerous reports claim that at a WrestleMania party he and his wife were seen arguing in front of many fans in attendance. The altercation escalated even further when RhYno picked up a planter and threw it across the room. Many higher ups in the company are disappointed with RhYno's behavior, stressing that WWE Superstars are representatives of the company while out in public. There has been no word as of yet on RhYno's punishment from the company.

*Randy Orton confirmed on the WWE Byte This! Web Cast on Tuesday that he will be taking time off to undergo surgery on his shoulder. He had been working for the better part of a month with the injury, but after RAW he described that the pain was now intense. Once the surgery takes place Orton isn't likely to be back in competition for 6 to 8 months.

*Many are speculating next week that Eric Bischoff's big announcement will have something to do with the return of the King of the Ring Pay Per View in July.

*Chris Masters did a number on OVW wrestler, and WWE Developmental hopeful Aaron Stevens on the Sunday Night Heat tapings. Masters potato punched Stevens in the nose causing blood to continue pouring out of his nose until winning with the Masterlock. Some are saying that Masters may be demoted back down to Ohio Valley if his lack luster performances keep up.

*With his surprise run in on RAW, WWE have officially announced the signing of Marty Jannetty to a 6 month written contract. Michaels and Jannetty are expected to face off against Hassan and Diavari at the BackLash Pay Per View, and some are even saying that Michaels will be continuing to partner with his former mate throughout the Spring. It will be interesting to see how RAW handles the Michaels and Jannetty partnership.

*Chris Benoit is expected to return to action on RAW this week, Benoit did such a good job of selling his arm injury in the Money in the Bank Ladder Match that the writers kept him off of RAW to further sell the "injury."

*With the current state of the Women's division, OVW wrestlers Alexis Laree and Beth Phoenix are worried that they won't get the call up to join the active roster. Many agents have reported in saying that Laree has been ready to join the roster for month's, but the WWE is no longer stressing wrestling in the Women's Division as was displayed by Christy Hemme's win over Molly on RAW.

That's all of the news for this week, be sure to check back next week for more news and notes.

  17. Since barely anyone watches Heat these days, I'm going to go the same way and just give out the results of the tapings. With that here is the first RAW;

WWE Sunday Night HeAt Taping Results:

    - Chris Masters defeated Aaron Stevens

    - Val Venis defeated Viscera

    - Trish Stratus defeated Victoria

    - Simon Dean and Maven defeated Hurricane and Rosey

    WWE RAW

    April 4, 2005

RAW kicked off live with a video package highlighting Wrestlemania 21. The package showed Trish Stratus defend the Women's Title against Christy Hemme, Edge win the Money in the Bank Ladder Match, Shawn Michaels come up on the short end against Smackdown's Kurt Angle, The Undertaker defeating Randy Orton, and finally Batista defeating Triple H for the World Heavyweight Championship. The video montage ended with Batista letting out a primal scream and posing with the World Heavyweight Title. RAW had a new Champion, and he would be in action tonight!

Ever Hear of the Word Sore Loser?

As Jim Ross and Jerry "the King" Lawler welcomed fans to the show they were soon cut off when "the Game" hit, and Triple H stepped out from the back to his light show. The crowd gave Triple H hell, and the camera caught fans holding up signs such as "Game Over," and "Batista's Unleashed!" JR and The King mentioned how Triple H looked almost naked without the World Heavyweight title around his waist, and he performed his trademark spit of the water. Once he was in the ring he took a microphone.

Triple H: "Last night at Wrestle".....

He couldn't even speak without being drowned out by the fans chants of "BA-TIS-TA!" This seemed to anger Helmsley, and after an extensive pause he was once again on the microphone.

Triple H: "CHANT HIS NAME! GO AHEAD! BA-TIS-TA! BA-TIS-TA! Batista was better than me ONE NIGHT! One Night! Last night at WrestleMania, the Animal came out on top, but the fact remains that I AM THE GAME and I RUN THIS DAMN INDUSTRY!"

More boos came from the fans as Triple H continued on with his rant.

Triple H: "Batista! Consider yourself lucky! Consider yourself lucky because you are holding the one thing that I-III care about more than life itself! The World Heavyweight Championship! Batista it was luck that you walked out of Los Angeles the Champion, and it must have felt good. It felt good didn't it Dave? It felt good last night when you went to your hotel room... and you sat down... and you draped that title over your lap... and you looked at the little name plate that read "WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT WRESTLING CHAMPION.... DAVE BATISTA" and you realized that you were now on top of the World."

Triple H looked around and more boos came from the fans.

Triple H: "But when you woke up this morning, it didn't feel so good did it Dave? It didn't feel good any longer when that high wore out and the realization kicked in; the realization that you are now the guy that everyone is gunning for. It didn't feel good to have that bull's eye on your chest didn't it Dave? No, I know you too well. I know that it's exactly the way you are feeling! Ten Times Dave! Ten times I've been World Champion. Dave, you're not a ten time Champion, and you know it just like I do... You never will be."

    The Animal is Unleashed!

    The Game put the microphone back up to his mouth, but before he could say another word the World Heavyweight Champion's music hit, and Batista walked out dressed for action with the World Heavyweight title strapped around his waist. The champion did a muscle pose and then made his way into the ring. Once inside he got a microphone of his own and looked right into the eyes of his former mentor. The Batista chants were near deafening, and the Champ then growled;

Batista: "You know Triple H, you're right I'm not a ten time World Champion, and yeah, I probably never will be."

Triple H smiled and the fans booed Batista's acknowledgement of "The Game's" decree.

Batista: "But I am THEE World Heavyweight Champion, and I plan on holding onto it for a VERY long time!"

Triple H's smile turned to a frown and it was now the World Champion who was smiling.

Batista: "And Triple H, just like you said by becoming the world Heavyweight Champion last night at WrestleMania I put the target right on my chest, and now everyone's gunning for me. Everyone is trying to knock me off of the top. Well you know what I say Triple H? How about you be the first to try and take this title from me, and I don't see any better of a time than right NOW!"

Batista dropped the microphone and called Triple H out. The Game took a few moments to think it over, then ripped off his t-shirt and the two men began exchanging blows. The crowd was on fire, as a referee ran down to the ring and called for the bell, they were seeing an impromptu WrestleMania rematch for the title! But the cheers soon faded away as "I’m Back" hit the PA, and the RAW General Manager Eric Bischoff marched out with a microphone.

Eric Bischoff: "Hold it! Hold it! HOLD IT RIGHT THERE! JUST WHAT IN THE HELL DO THE TWO OF YOU THINK YOU'RE DOING?"

They continued their fight until the Champion knocked Triple H down with a shoulder block, then Helmsley; pissed off rolled to the outside.

Eric Bischoff: "Hey! In case the two of you forgot... I MAKE THE MATCHES AROUND HERE! And the way I see it, Batista versus Triple H for the World Heavyweight Title tonight... IS NOT GOING TO HAPPEN!"

The fans booed and Batista stood in the ring staring down both Bischoff and Triple H.

Eric Bischoff: "You see Batista, I wouldn't want you at less then 100 percent tonight when you face Randy Orton... and a match that big needs the proper amount of time to hype. I say about TWO WEEKS TIME!"

Bischoff smiled at his decision, as if he was a genius.

Eric Bischoff: "So Monday April 18, live from Madison Square Garden we will see "the Game" Triple H challenge the "the Animal" Batista in a WrestleMania rematch for the WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE!"

Bischoff dropped the microphone and his music started up again. Triple H stood outside of the ring pointing his finger at Batista and talking trash, with the Champion just standing in the ring and saying "Two weeks" and RAW went to commercial.

    World Tag Team Championship Match

Regal and Tajiri versus La Resistance

When RAW came back on the air it was the team of Robert Conway and Sylvan Grenier, La Resistance teaming up to take on the reigning World Tag Team Champions, William Regal and Tajiri. Tajiri took the fight to Sylvan Grenier early on, but after nailing a swinging neck breaker Grenier kept Tajiri in the enemy corner. La Resistance used quick tags attempting to keep both men fresh, and kept Tajiri grounded. Regal began stomping at the mat and got the fans behind Tajiri. Conway screwed up in the corner and Tajiri locked on the Tarantula for the full four seconds, with Conway down and holding his back in pain it allowed Tajiri to tag in William Regal. Regal hit the ring fast and took out both La Resistance members, tossing Grenier over the top rope and to the floor. Regal locked the Regal stretch onto Conway and he soon tapped out.

What!? You Paid For This Air Time? What!?

From there clips from the Piper's Pit segment at WrestleMania were shown with Austin and Piper trading insults with each other, before beating the crap out of Carlito Caribbean Cool. Then it was back to the arena where there was a table sat up in the ring displaying the many components of the Simon System weight loss program.

The fans had expected to hear Simon Dean's music, but were shocked when they heard the glass shatter before Stone Cold Steve Austin came out from the back. The Texas Rattlesnake was here live on RAW and the fans were going nuts! Austin did his trademark pose in each turnbuckle, he looked at the many weight loss supplements in the ring that displayed Simon Dean's smiling face and shook his head, then the "Texas Rattlesnake" grabbed a microphone.

Steve Austin: "MAN DOES IT FEEL GOOD TO BE BACK IN THE WWE!"

The fans cheered and some even began chanting "Stone Cold."

Steve Austin: "Last night (What!?) at WrestleMania (What!?) the beer drinkin' (What!?) Ass Kickin' (What!?) Meanest sum' bitch on the face of the planet (What!?) Stone Cold Steve Austin stepped into the ring with the ring (What!?) With the kilt wearin' (What) Name callin' (What!?) Dirty sum' bitch Rowdy Roddy Piper (What!?) And he had himself a little fun! (What!?) And now"............'

The fans were really getting behind Austin. Before Stone Cold could continue on however he was cut off by another voice on the speakers.

"Hold it right there Austin, don't you say another word!"

Simon Dean marched out to the top of the ramp with a microphone in hand.

Simon Dean: "Now Austin, don't get me wrong (What!?) I happen to like you but right now you are talking on my time! (What!?) You see Stone Cold since you've been gone a lot of things have changed here on RAW. (What!?) You see I know you would like to talk to all these fans about your coming back to the WWE, but I've paid for this air time, and it's for the better of all these people in the audience (What!?) that you leave the ring right now."

Dean stepped into the ring while Austin was trying to figure out just who in the hell this guy was.

Simon Dean: "You see Stone Cold, I already paid for time and I'm going to use it to promote my Simon System... to all of these people. I mean just look around (What!? Though they started to fade out around this time) they need it!"

Dean smiled while Austin looked around, he scratched his head and then started talking again.

Steve Austin: "So let me get this straight, you paid money to be out here right now?"

Simon Dean: "Well.. yeah, to promote my Simon System and help all of these people lead better lives!"

Dean smiled again and the fans booed him.

Steve Austin: "You are one dumb sum' bitch!"

The fans laughed and Dean looked shocked. Stone Cold walked over to the table and picked up a Simon Shake.

Steve Austin: "Let me ask you somethin' you really drink this crap?"

Simon Dean: "Oh it's not crap, and yes I am a product of my Simon System (he flashes a smile) and Stone Cold it actually tastes pretty good!"

Steve Austin: "Well I'll tell you what, good ol' Stone Cold will try this little shake, if ya' try a beer."

    Dean grimaced at the thought of drinking a beer but said;

Simon Dean: "Well, if it will make you a believer in the Simon System... I'm game."

Stone Cold walked over and was tossed a beer, he tossed it to Simon who popped the top. Austin and Dean looked at each other and held their drinks up.

    Simon Dean: "Well, cheers!"

They crashed the bottle and can together then Austin chugged the shake while Dean did his best to down the beer. Simon whoever didn't have the stomach for it and after making some weird faces he spit it out all over the place - and all over Stone Cold! Austin's face flashed with anger and Dean looked like he had crapped his pants. He held his arms out pleading with Stone Cold but Austin tossed the shake aside, kicked Dean in the midsection and nailed him with the Stone Cold Stunner! The fans went crazy seeing Dean get leveled with the move and Austin tipped over the table of Dean's products. Stone Cold posed in the turnbuckles as Raw went to commercial.

Jonathan Coachman: "Wow Mr. Bischoff, WrestleMania rematch in two weeks, Batista versus Triple H for the world Heavyweight Title, that's huge!"

Bischoff smilled and leaned back in his luxury chair, and put his arms behind his head.

Eric Bischoff: "You think that's huge Coach? Well wait until you hear the announcement I have to make next week on RAW, it's going to rock not just RAW but the entire WWE as a whole."

Bischoff laughed to himself and Coach looked puzzled.

From there a video package of the Money in the Bank Ladder Match at WrestleMania was shown. The package showcased the performances of all five men involved in the match, especially Chris Benoit who looked to have injured his arm in the match. The show went back to the arena where JR and the King said that because of injuries sustained in the match Benoit was not in attendance at RAW.

    Tag-Team Match

Shelton Benjamin and Chris Jericho versus Christian and Tyson Tomko

The Intercontinental Champion Shelton Banjamin and his partner for the night, Chris Jericho shook hands before the match sigifying that there were no hard feelings from WrestleMania's match. Christian started things off at a fast pace with Chris Jericho, each man exchanging a series of holds. Jericho took Christian down with a drop toe hold that hung him up throat first against the ropes. Jericho charged and leaped on his former friend forcing the rope against his throat to a whiplash effect. Jericho tagged in Shelton Benjamin and the Intercontinental Champion went to work on Christian with a series of arm drags and suplexes but his momentum was stopped when Tomko hit the ring and hit a big boot to the face that turned him inside out. Christian tagged in Tomko and he grounded Benjamin with submission holds targeting the neck and shoulders. After sliding off of Tomko's back the IC Champ connected with a super kick and both men hit the canvas. They began crawling to their corners with Benjamin making the hot tag to Jericho. Christian hit the ring and Jericho floored him the a clothesline, Tomko got recieved a European uppercut and was sent into the ropes. Jericho nearly took his head off with a well placed dropkick. Tomko and Christian regrouped on the outside as RAW went to commercial.

    ~ Commercial Break.

The show came back on the air with Christian and Tomko choking out Jericho in the corner. Benjamin was trying to get into the ring, but referee Charles Robinson held him back. Superplex from Tomko for a cover and two. Tomko sent Jericho into the ropes with an irish whip but out of desperation Jericho springboarded off of the second rope and caught Tyson with a forearm to the face. Tag to Benjamin for the second hot tag of the night and the IC Champion came in on fire with suplexes for both Christian and Tomko. He whipped Tomko chest first into the turnbuckle and then lifted him up for the T-Bone Suplex! Cover, 1, 2, ... Christian interrupted the count! After tagging in Christian the ending came when he rolled up Benjamin and held onto the Champion's tights for the 3 count! Christian had pinned the Intercontinental Champion! He and Tomko hugged on the outside of the ring with Jericho and Benjamin upset in the ring.

Clips from the Women's Title Match at WrestleMania were shown with Trish ultimately coming out victorious. Then the Diva Search winner's music played and it was time for the next contest.

Christy Hemme w/ Lita versus Molly Holly

The former Women's Champion, Molly controlled the match and did her best to try and keep it flowing smoothly. Molly dominated the much less experienced Christy with backbreakers and a northern lights suplex. With Christy in pain and holding her back Molly went to the top rope. Christy stood up and Molly jumped off for the Molly-go-round, but Christy moved out of the way forcing Molly to crash and burn. The Diva Search winner rolled up Holly with a School Boy cradle for the shocking 1.. 2.. 3! Lita joined Christy in the ring congratulating her on victory. Pride, Hate and Rescue...

When RAW came back on the air, "Sexy Boy" was playing, and the "Heart Break Kid" Shawn Michaels came out to a standing ovation from the fans in attendance. Michaels held his hand over his heart and thanked them, then it was into the ring where he did his trademark muscle pose. HBK wasn't dressed for action, and soon it was clear why as Michaels had a microphone.

Shawn Michaels: "Last night I think it's safe to say that ol' HBK and Kurt Angle stole the show at WRESTLEMANIA 21!"

The fans gave Michaels more applause, and some even began chanting "HBK."

Shawn Michaels: "And you know, even though I lost last night at WrestleMania, I have to hand it to Kurt Angle. I gave it all that I had, and he did exactly what he said that he was going to do. He made HBK tap out."

Boos filled the arena as Michaels frowned at the memory of his hand slapping the mat and giving in to the ankle lock.

Shawn Michaels: "But you know what? HBK is still alive and kickin' and I think there's still some fight left in this ol' boy so maybe down the road Kurt Angle and HBK will meet again, I mean how many of you people would like to see a rematch!?"

The crowd definatly agreed with that bringing a smile to Shawn's face, he went to continue but suddenly was cut off by an arabic chant that filled the arena. It was the music of Muhammed Hassan, and shortly after he and his manager Daivari came out.

Muhammed Hassan: "I have heard enough.. of YOUR CRYING! It's just like your typical American thinking, coming out here and feeling sorry for yourself.. after losing at.. WrestleMania when other people... MY PEOPLE were NO WHERE to be seen ON THE ENTIRE CARD! And SHAWN MICHAELS THAT IS A CRYING SHAME!!"

Hassan and Daivari continued to the ring, Daivari took the microphone and spitted out something that no one could understand. Finally the two men where in the ring and Hassan took the microphone back.

Muhammed Hassan: "And yet you continue to WANT MORE, going as far... as to wish for a rematch. Well Shawn Michaels... you and all of the other pathetic Americans.. can continue to WANT and WANT and WANT, and continue to think it's ok. Yet you completely ignore the fact that myself, and my people are being HELD DOWN, and yet you look at yourself in the mirror with gratification."

The fans were giving Daivari and Hassan hell, and Michaels had heard enough.

Shawn Michaels: "Whoa, whoa, whoa! For starters Mr. Hassan you might want to see a psychiatrist, because all of that stuff you just preached in HBK's ear was a total bunch of BS! And it seems you have a problem with me. You do don't ya'!?"

Hassan stared at Michaels trying his best to hold a menacing frown. Daivari grabbed a microphone and started another non english tirade.

Shawn Michaels: "SHUT UP!! Now Hassan, here in the WWE as I take it when someone has a problem with someone else they settle it in a certain place. They settle it in a place with say... ropes and... turnbuckles... what is that called again? Oh yeah... THE RING! So Hassan, you're already standing in it... if you've got a problem with H-B-K, why don't ya' solve it!?"

The challenge was laid out and after a short staredown Hassan looked as if he was going to back down, but he threw a punch right to the face of HBK! HBK and Hassan traded blows but the number game soon was too much for Michaels as Daivari jumped in and the two men stomped and pounded on HBK. This lasted for a few minutes and it seemed there was no end in sight until somebody ran down the ramp and slid into the ring with a steel chair in hand. It was Marty Jannetty! Jannetty hit the ring, and the two Arab-Americans quickly left the ring. Jannetty had come to the rescue of his friend, much to the liking of the fans. He checked on Michaels as RAW went to another commercial break.

Back on the air and it was "Mr. Money in the Bank," Edge coming out to the ring with the Brief Case he had retrieve last night at WrestleMania. Inside presumably was the contract, waiting to be signed whenever Edge wanted his shot at the World Heavyweight Title. He sat the Brief case at the time keepers seat on the outside. Kane was out next and Edge used his quickness to give him the Edge, no pun intended over the much larger Kane. Edge used a basement dropkick on Kane's knee and worked it over throughout the match, knowing full well if he couldn't stand up there would be no way for him to land a choke slam. Kane countered an Edge spear attempt and Edge slammed into the turnbuckle shoulder first, Kane went for the choke slam and landed it but his knees gave out deeming him unable to make the cover. edge rolled to the outside and grabbed the brief case. He stood outside with his back facing the Monster, and when Kane reached over the ropes to grab him, Edge blasted him with the Brief Case! He then slid into the ring and stalked the Big Red Machine. Kane stood up and Edge nailed the Spear, making the cover and getting the three! "Mr. Money in the Bank" rolled out of the ring and took the brief case before giving it a kiss and smiling deviously. He beat Kane tonight, but the question remained when would he take his title shot?

RAW then went to the back where Maria was standing by with "The Legend Killer" Randy Orton. The fans booed Orton simply for seeing his face, and Maria began talking.

Maria: "Randy, up next you're going one on one with the World Heavyweight Champion, Batista. Do you have any comments before your match?"

Orton looked Maria over before flashing her a cocky smile that in return made Maria’s roll her eyes.

Randy Orton: "You know Maria I do have some comments before I go out there. Batista, you know I hate to say it but Triple H is right.. you're nothing more than A FLUKE! I mean come on Maria... when we were in Evolution I was the star, and as soon as I broke away home many times did I beat him? 2? 3? It doesn't matter, the point is tonight is going to be no different and our "World Heavyweight champion" is going to go down with the R - K - O!"

Back on the air, and Orton made his entrance to the ring, funny thing to note is that he was wearing his "RKO" T-shirt instead of his Legend Killer Tour one, guess not beating the Undertaker took a bit of a chip off his shoulder. The World Champion came out to a massive pop from the crowd and after taking off the belt, Randy Orton went right to work on the big man. He hammered Batista with clenched fists and sent him into the ropes a back elbow made Batista stumble but it didn't knock him down. Orton smashed a couple more hard shots, but Batista snapped and the Animal clobbered Orton to the mat with a blistering short arm clothesline. Batista used his strength to dominate Orton for the next few moments but Orton would regain control with a low blow as RAW took its final commercial break.

    ~ Commercial Break.

When the show came back on the air Randy Orton was using the ropes to choke the life out of the World Champion. Triple H had made his way out to ringside and was trying to intimidate Batista, insulting him when he was down. Orton tried for an RKO after Batista bounced out of the corner, but Batista shrugged Orton into the ropes before nailing his Massive Spine Buster! Batista lifted Orton up and tucked his head between his legs, the Animal then gave the thumbs down and planted Orton with the Batista Bomb! He  made the cover but Triple H interrupted and put the boots to Batista forcing Earl Hebner to call for the bell!

    WWE RAW Television Preview

The biggest Sports Entertainment spectacular of them all is said and done, and with it we have a new World Heavyweight Champion. The "Animal," Batista last night defeated Triple H, his former leader in Evolution to take home the Gold. An easy night is not something that the new Champion will have however, because already signed for tonight's program by RAW General Manager Eric Bischoff; Batista will be in action against the "Legend Killer," Randy Orton. Speaking of Orton, after failing to end the legendary Undertaker's WrestleMania undefeated streak he will definitely be looking to make a name for himself at the World Heavyweight Champion's expense.

And what about "The Game?" After facing defeat last night, we expect to hear from him tonight on RAW. Surely he will not be in a good mood.

Batista and Orton are not the only ones who will see in ring action this week either as the World Tag-Team Champions Regal and Tajiri will put the Tag Title on the line against La Resistance. Plus after winning the Money in the Bank Ladder Match at WrestleMania, Edge will face the Big Red Machine Kane! Be sure to tune in tonight on Spike TV for the Flagship of the WWE, Monday Night RAW!

    Scheduled Matches:

    - World Heavyweight Champion Batista versus Randy Orton

    - Edge versus Kane

    - World Tag Team Championship Match - Regal and Tajiri versus La Resistance.

  19. Forward: As always after reading one of TAFKA’s diaries I get inspired to try a similar one, well I’m not to familiar with most of the guys on the Smackdown! side and wouldn’t want to try and steal any of his thunder so I’m going to ponder with the RAW brand after WrestleMania 21. Fans of my WCW 2001 Diary fear not as I’m about half way done with the Bash at the Beach and that Diary should continue unscathed. With that I give you my latest venture and hope you enjoy…

    Sunday April 3rd

the Staples Center in Los Angeles California....

Rey Mysterio defeats Eddie Guerrero in a battle of Tag-Team Champions

Edge defeats Chris Benoit, Kane, Shelton Benjamin, Christian and Chris Jericho in a "Money in the Bank" Ladder Match guaranteeing him a shot at the title within the year.

Trish Stratus defeats Christy Hemme to retain the WWE Women's Championship

The legendary Undertaker defeats the "Legend Killer" Randy Orton to rack up his Wrestlemania record to an unmatched 13 and 0.

Smackdown's Kurt Angle defeats RAW's Shawn Michaels

Former Grand Sumo Champion Akebono defeats The Big Show in a Sumo Rules Match.

John Cena defeats John "Bradshaw" Layfield to become the new WWE Champion, ending JBL's record breaking reign as Champion.

In the Main Event of the night student defeats teacher as Batista defeats Triple H to become the new World Heavyweight Champion

    Somewhere in America...

"Click." A Television set turns off. Two friends are sitting in a living room, and the larger of the two starts speaking.

"Wow, I really liked the show, WrestleMania was well worth the price, what do you think?"

"Ah.. it was alright I guess."

"You guess? How can you say that, it was awesome! The Money in the Bank Ladder Match, and Angle versus HBK totally stole the show. And on top of all that, Cena and Batista are the champions!"

"Yeah... but the show still didn't get me overjoyed. I mean the Eddie and Rey Match could have been much better, so could some of the others. And Batista even though Batista won the title, I doubt the writers can do anything that will keep us interested on Raw. They'll use the same ol' formula. Triple H will be on Raw talking about losing and that he wants his rematch, Batista will lose the title at Backlash and we'll be stuck seeing the same thing over and over."

"Oh come on, how do you know that?"

    "It's how its always been."

"What, so you're saying you could do better than the guys that get paid to write this stuff."

    "Maybe I could."

"Yeah, right I'd love to see what RAW would be like with you at the helm."

Fade to black. After a few another message appears on the screen.

    Later that Night...

    The smaller male shown previously lies in his bed, his eyes are closed. A voice is ringing over and over in his mind;

"Yeah, right I'd love to see what RAW would be like with you at the helm"...

"I'd love to see what RAW would be like with you at the helm"

"what RAW would be like with you at the helm"

"with you at the helm... with you at the helm"...

    Fade to Black.

  20. 07/07/01

-At first I was upset with the match of Helms versus Morrus. It ended in a double disqualification, so that made me happy. Now they HAVE to battle at BATB, which IMO sets it up good.

-Wow. I was expecting Buff versus Rob Van Dam. And WOW. My favourite wrestler not only knocks out RVD, but he also wins the belt. Mixed reviews on this as Bagwell has been pretty “big” lately, plus two shows in a row there was a title change.

-I like how Ramon is being used, but I don’t like how you changed his name. I like Reno better.

-Nothing else major enough to note.

    07/15/01

-One word. LANCE STORM. Okay, that’s two. Penalty match looks promising if played out right.

-I like where the Air Raid – Filthy Animals feud is going. It should be a good match.

-This Cruiserweight Invite is shaping up nicely as well.

-Squashes rule. Big Poppa Pump rules. Main event ruled.

-I may be mistaken, but wasn’t there a contract signing for Booker/Venis’s last match?

    07/21/01

-I like the new format. But I can’t stand the quotes. Grey background is better IMO.

-Overall I thought the show was good, but I don’t have any major thing to note.

    Oh, I’m changing my predictions…

Thanks for the feedback KE, as always I appreciate it.

ive got to ask mate, how did you make the unleashed logo and the PPV posters?

I just use Paint Shop Pro 8, and a handful of fonts and old WCW pics once you get used to the program it's a breeze.

Just a little update on the PPV, I've got a few matches written so far, been sidetracked the last few days. I hope to have the whole show done and posted before Monday.

  21. Well I'm reading this in hopes that it will turn out as good as your TNA Diary was, here are some comments on the show;

-I liked the opening segment with Cena, a bit sketchy but smooth enough to make it seem like something that Cena would say. JBL coming out and saying that he gets his rematch next week and not at the PPV makes me happy, I'm just hoping you don't decide to put the belt back on Bradshaw. Did he say something about Cena being the FIRST draft, I guess you'll be going on with a draft like the internet rumors say? That could be interesting.

-London defending against Akio, that's always a good match, really couldn't see Akio going away with the gold, outcome just as I predicted I hope you make a better CW Division than WWE has.

-I liked the Rey and Eddie segment as well, got Guerrero down to a tee, the whisper was cool. I'm wondering if you'll be doing a bait and switch and turn Rey instead.

-The Carlito segment was a good comedy segment. Went over really well, the hand written notes and all, very Carlito. nice angle.

-Kurt Angle Invitational was just like they always are, I wonder who you're going to have the Olympic Hero feud with next.

-Booker/ Jordon could be interesting, myself I would rather see Booker T main eventing but knowing you there's something in stor for us. I'll be reading on.

-Geesh Torrie wins another Bikini Challenge, where's her crown lol. Gotta keep with the realness, and it's something that WWE does, I didn't really mind the segment.

-Reigns gets squashed! Don't mind that at all, he should have stayed with Jindrak atleast then he was somewhat watchable. Hopefully you can find something for him though.

-Then he layed Big Show out, I dunno maybe I could get into that feud.

-Eddie beats Rey, glad you went with that. Still no turn, but I know somewhere down the line something is going to happen. Overall good show, I'll definatly be keeping up.

  22. I'm always trying to improve and I was informed that my grammar and layout for the shows in the past really haven't been the greatest, so I've decided to give a new format a try. Please inform me of how you like this show layout, with that I hope you enjoy the final Unleashed before the Bash at the Beach Pay Per View........

WCW Unleashed Results: July 21, 2001

    Live from Saginaw, MI

A pre-taped moment to kick things off...

Unleashed opens up in abnormal fashion with a shot of the parking lot, in the bottom of the screen "Earlier in the Evening" is shown in white letters. A black limo parks, and the camera focuses on the back door. A few seonds passed and then the door opens, and out steps 'Big Poppa Pump' Scott Steiner and his "Number One Freak,' Midajah. Steiner flings his bag over his shoulder, his head sporting a white bandage courtesy of Jeff Jarrett's guitar shot last week. The pair head into the arena as Steiner mumbles something about Jarrett, then the opening video package aired.

    EWR Rating: 77%

Enter the pyro on stage signifying the start of the show. Thousands of fans are showing their support with multi colored signs and merchandising, they jump up around and act like fools making their families at home very proud. Just as Arn Anderson and Scott Hudson welcome everyone to the show the music of the WCW World Tag Team Champions takes the loud speaker and it seems as though the first match of the night is set to begin.

    Singles Match-up

Chuck Palumbo w/Sean O'Haire versus Rob Conway w/Nick Dinsmore

The final episode of WCW's weekly program before the Great American Bash kicked off with two of the participants in tomorrow night's WCW World Tag Team Title Match going head to head. Chucky P. got things going in his favor with a couple of well placed shots to the face of Rob Conway, his brawling efforts would soon come to bite him however when Conway ducked a shot and landed a ddt. Palumbo stumbled back up to his feet to be whipped into the ropes and taken to the mat with a hart-attack like clothesline from the former Tag Champion. Conway worked over Palumbo's leg, putting his knee into Palumbo's joint. Sean O'Haire pushed the bottom rope within reach of his partner and Palumbo latched on to break the hold. Conway scooped Palumbo up and slammed him to the mat before going up top. Chucky P. got to his feet and Rob leaped off connecting with a cross body for a two count. Sean O'Haire tossed one of the Tag-Team Titles into a corner, this ticked Nick Dinsmore off and he jumped up on the apron, but referee Charles Robinson got after him to get back on the outside. Palumbo crawled over and grabbed the Tag Title, cowering over it to make sure Conway didn't see the consealed weapon. Rob walked over and went to grab ahold of Palumbo, that's when he hauled off and smashed the belt into the Kentucky native's face. Sean O'Haire grabbed Dinsmore's leg from behind and pulled him off of the apron, Dinsmore's face smashed against the ring apron on the way down. Palumbo covered but Conway somehow kicked out at two! Palumbo tugged at his long brown hair, and lifted Conway to his feet. Conway shrugged off Palumbo's grasp and connected with clenched fists sending the Tag Champion reeling into the ropes. O'Haire and Dinsmore had kept their fight going on the outside, and referee Charles Robinson jumped out of the ring and pulled the two apart, then he shouted "You're outta' here!" demanding that O'Haire and Dinsmore both get sent to the back. They argued with him as the show went to it's first commercial break.

Back on the air, Palumbo had Conway crotched on the top rope and was setting up a superplex attempt. He hooked Conway's arm, but the rookie fired back and shoved Palumbo down to the canvas. Conway connected with an elbow off of the top rope but couldn't hold Palumbo down for the three. They fought back to their feet, and Conway looked to send Chucky P. into the ropes, but the Tag Champion reversed and Rob was the one that took the ride, Jungle Kick - Conway evaded it with a roll over his own shoulders. He got back to his feet and Palumbo turned to face only to meet a knockout right hand blow from Conway. Both men fell to the mat and Conway hooked the leg for the 1, 2, 3!

Rob Conway defeated Chuck Palumbo via pinfall

    -61%-54%-69%

Conway's hand is raised, he gets the win tonight and celebrates on the turnbuckle, the question still remains will he and Dinsmore be able to regain the Tag Team Titles against Palumbo and O'Haire tomorrow night?

He's Buff and he wants his title back...

After hearing from Hudson and Anderson at the commentary desk hyping up the fact that tonight we will see the official contract signing for the World Heavyweight title Match tomorrow night against Booker T and Val Venis, a new theme overtakes the speakers.

"Buff... Daddy... I'm Buff, and I'm the Stuff!"

Marcus "Buff" Bagwell comes out to the top of the ramp, no hopping or posing tonight, Buff doesn't seem to be his obnoxious self. He walks to the ring and takes off his trademark shades before grabbing a microphone.

Buff Bagwell: "Just two weeks ago, Buff Daddy was standin' here in this very ring with the Dubbya See Dubbya United States Title around his georgous waist, ready and waitin' to defend it against R-V-D. But you see Lance Storm had other plans on his mind and before Buff Daddy could even comprehend what happened, he was blasted in the face with that United States Title, and had it stolen from him."

The crowd boos at the reference of Lance Storm and one lady in the audience shouts "I love you Buff!"

Buff Bagwell: "Lance Storm, ya' claim to be an athlete with integrity and honor, but let me tell ya' son ya' ain't got either! What ya' did to RVD, and what you did ta' me ain't goin' ta' go unpunished. Now Buff Daddy ain't got the slightest clue as to what the hell this Canadian Fury Penalty Box crap is all about, but he does know one thing. To win it he's gonna have to climb the ladder and retrieve it, and make no mistake about it that's exactly what I'm gonna do!"

Bagwell paces the ring, and adjusts the shades resting on his forehead before continuing on.

Buff Bagwell: "Now in this little match here it's gonna be every man for himself, well RVD I told ya' I respected ya' but make no mistake about it whether it's you, Awesome, Stasiak, or Storm if ya' get in Buff Daddy's way you're gonna go down. There ain't nothin' that's gonna stop me from gettin' my United States Title back around my waist, and ya' wanna know why?"

Bagwell looks around at the crowd.

    Buff Bagwell: "'Cause I'm Buff"...

The fans chant along with him

Buff Bagwell: "And I'm the Stuff!"

Bagwell drops the microphone in the ring and heads to the back after his music plays again, that's where Unleashed goes to another commercial break.

The show comes back on the air and Scott Hudson informs everyone that up next is the first of two preview matches for the Invite-Only Battle Royal at the Bash at the Beach. Eliminations will occure over the top rope, pinfall and by submission.

    4 man Cruiserweight Battle Royal

Elix Skipper Kid Romeo, Michael Modest and Jason Jett

It's important to note that Team Canada's Elix Skipper came to the ring flashing his red ticket into tomorrow night's event since no previous mention of him being in it was ever made. Jason Jett and Michael Modest really didn't have much of a reaction from the fans, but that was to be expected since they had only been for a short time. This match was a crazy spot fest, and early on the former Cruiserweight Tag Team Champions of Skipper and Romeo rebonded to do a number on Jett and Modest. Modest was the first to the floor getting knocked off of the top rope with a kick to the head from "Prime Time." It seemed that Jett would be next as the two other men in the match were working in unison against him, but after being whipped into the ropes he put on the breaks and pulled down on the top rope, Kid Romeo had charged the WCW newcomer and fell victim to the low bridge effect with the rope, tumbling up and over to the outside. It was down to two men, "Prime Time" Elix Skipper and Jason Jett. They traded some quick holds and Skipper whipped Jett into the ropes, Jett however springboarded off of the center rope and albowed Skipper in the face forcing him to the mat. Jett rushed him into the corner and bounced at him doing a double hand spring into a back elbow, the fans were really getting behind Jason Jett. Powerslam on Skipper and Jett almost had a three count. They fought back to their feet and Skipper hip tossed Jett over the top rope, he didn't fall to the floor though and spring boarded back into the ring landing a dropkick to Skipper's back. Jett couldn't toss Skipper over the top rope though, and Elix poked him in the eye. With Jett's eyes watering, and him rubbing at them, Skipper would come back and connect with the Play of the Day and cover for the win.

Elix Skipper defeated Kid Romeo, Michael Modest and Jason Jett.

    -68%-51%-85%

Everyone's entitled to an off night once in a while, right?...

After Skipper rolls out of the ring, Jett looks disappointed in himself, from there the show switched to somewhere in the back, where it was didn't really matter as all you could see where the WCW World Tag Team Champions Palumbo and O'Haire staring into the screen with the belts across their shoulders.

Chuck Palumbo: "Laugh it up boys, have your fun tonight because that's all you're going to be celebrating, your little fluke win tonight!"

Sean O'Haire: "Conway and Dinsmore, do you guys really think you have what it takes to hang with us, the greatest Tag-Team in the world today? Think about it.. No really think about it. Six days you two reigned as WCW Tag Team Champions, and the only reason you even had those for that long was because of the damn beginners luck."

Chuck Palumbo: "Well boys, luck only lasts so long and for the two of you tonight you used the last drop."

Palumbo and O'Haire smile eveily at each other.

Sean O'Haire: "Bash at the Beach, for you two the clock strikes twelve and the Cinderella story is over."

Chuck Palumbo: "It's riches to rags for the two of you, but don't take it personal you'll just be added onto the list of teams like Kronic that we ran out of the WCW."

Sean O'Haire: "See you girls at the Bash."

O'Haire and Palumbo share another evil laugh, then Unleashed heads to another set of words from the sponsors.

    Big Poppa is Pumped...

Back on the air and we are taken to the office of Shane McMahon. The WCW owner is sitting at his desk with his legs propped up, and chatting on the phone when the door opens and Scott Steiner storms into his office with the beautiful Midajah not far behind.

Shane McMahon: "yeah... I'm going to have to call you back Steph"...

McMahon was talking to his sister? Wasn't she still a part of the WWF?? Well that didn't matter right now, back to the story on hand, McMahon hung up the phone and turned his attention to Steiner.

Shane McMahon: "Big Poppa Pump, for what do I owe the favor of this visit?"

Steiner leaned over the deask and looked straight at McMahon.

Scott Steiner: "I came into this office for one reason and one reason only, and I ain't leaving here until I get what I want. You saw what Jarrett did ta' me las' week, and I ain't leabin' until I have his ass in that ring one on one tonight!"

The fans cheered, they wanted to see it, hell who wouldn't want to see one of the highly publicized matches for tomorrows PPV on free tv? Ah but Shane is a much better businessman than that... right?

Shane McMahon: "Well Scott, I can't give you Jeff Jarrett tonight one on one."

Steiner couldn't believe his ears was McMahon standing up to the Genetic Freak?

Shane McMahon: "What kind of a business move would that be giving away a PPV Main Event one day before it's scheduled to happen? But I'll tell you what, I'll give you Jarrett tonight, and Hugh Morrus too."

Scott Steiner: "Hugh Morrus? I don't give two shits about Hugh Morrus!"

Shane McMahon: "Well Scott I know you don't, but you're Tag Team partner for tonight surely wants to get his hands on him. You see tonight, in the Unleashed Main Event it's going to be 'Big Poppa Pump' Scott Steiner teaming up with 'Sugar' Shane Helms to take on Hugh Morrus and the 'Chosen One' Jeff Jarrett!"

Steiner didn't really look happy about the extra people in the match, but hey he got Jarrett right?

Scott Steiner: "Listen up McMahon, they'd better stay the hell outta' my damn way, I want Jarrett and that's the bottom line!"

Steiner and Midajah walk off, then the cameras return to the arena with Hudson and Anderson.

    EWR Rating: 80%

    Hudson nearly went hoarse shouting at how good the night's Main Event was going to be, then Anderson got him calmed down and the two rand down the card for tomorrow night's Pay Per View extravaganza;

    * New Millenim Rockers versus the Jung Dragonz w/ Leia Meow

    * Billy Kidman, Rey Misterio junior and Konnan versus Air Paris, AJ Styles and Ramon

    * Cruiserweight Title Invite-Only Battle Royal

    * 'Canadian Fury Penalty Box Match' for the WCW United States Title - Lance Storm© versus Rob Van Dam, Mike Awesome, Shawn Stasiak and Buff Bagwell

    * Raleigh Street Fight - Hugh Morrus versus Shane Helms

    * Weapon of Choice Match - Scott Steiner w/ Midajah versus Jeff Jarrett w/ Debra

    * WCW World Heavyweight Title Match - Val Venis© versus Booker T

After the graphics fade from the screen, Three count was dancing their way out from the back to kick off the second Battle Royal of the night.

    4 Man Cruiserweight Battle Royal

Jamie Knoble versus Juventud Guerrera, Shannon Moore, and Evan Karagias

Juventud Guerrera was the heavy favorite for the fans in this one, but make no mistake about it Jamie Knoble was out to make a name for himself - not that he hadn't made one, just well hell. He was out there to rip Juventud's head off. He did that too grabbing the luchador's hair and pulling him to the mat with a whiplash effect. Moore and Karagias took a few moments just hanging back, then at once they charged Knoble and nearly took him over the top rope with a double clothesline, but he held onto the ropes and rolled back in. Midway into the match, Moore used a kneeled down Evan Karagias to springboard off of and land on Knoble's shoulders as he was perched on the top, but Knoble held onto the top rope and dumped Moore to the outside eliminating him. Juvi used him as a springboard next and landed a kick to Knoble's head dropping him to the mat, he covered but the CW Champ got his leg on the rope. Karagias went to the attack on Juvi, and mockingly dropped him down with the Juvi Driver. He went to the top looking for the 450 splash but Knoble pushed him off the top and to the outside. It was down to Juventud and Knoble, and the Cruiserweight Champion landed sickening stomps to Juvi. He went to lock on the Reverse Figure Four that he'd been using to gain victory over the last couple weeks, but Juvi made it to the rope. Knoble lifted Guerrera up and went for a tombstone piledriver, but Juvi reversed and landed the move himself! Juvi went to the top rope, and landed the 450 splash! 1, 2, 3! Juventud had upset the Cruiserweight Champion!

Juventud Gerrera defeated Jamie Knoble, Shannon Moore and Evan Karagias

    -72%-61%-84%

They have tickets? Are they giving them away now?..

Juvi was celebrating the victory, we may see this tomorrow night at the Bash at the Beach, Juvi quickly rolled out of the ring as Knoble began throwing a fit in the ring, arguing with the referee and kicking the ring ropes! From there we were taken to the back where Disco Inferno and Crownar where in the locker room. Disco held out a red ticket.

Disco Inferno: "Ya' know its about damn time I get some respect around this place! Now after ta'marra' night, I'll be dancin' with some gold around my waist!"

    Crowbar: "Ha, ha ha!"

Crowbar's hysterical laughing upset the Dancing King of WCW, and he slapped the strange man on the back of the head.

Disco Inferno: "What the hell is so funny? You don't think I can do it."

Crowbar held up his hand to reveal that he too had one of the tickets into the match, and again he let out a laugh.

Disco Inferno: "Oh, yeah I guess you're gonna beat me right? That's what you're laughing about isn't it?"

Crowbar laughed some more and then pointed across the room, the camera picks up what he was staring at to reveal that there is a television monitor playing clips of disco's match from last week with Scott Steiner, Steiner was literally handing Disco his own ass. Disco looked pissed off.

Disco Inferno: "Oh yeah, that's real funny. HA HA!"

Disco stormed out of the locker room, and Crowbar was still laughing at the sight on the monitor when we went to some more words from the sponsors.

    Crowbar gained in overness

The New Millenium Rockers hype video played before the show came back on air, they're making their debut at the Bash at the Beach in case you didn't know. Back in the arena,

    Main Event: Tag Team Match

Shane Helms and Scott Steiner versus Jeff Jarrett and Hugh Morrus

Both Jarrett and Steiner were without their ladies for this one, they had to be sensing the action was going to spill to the outside, and it did. Jarrett played the cowardly heel for the most part, running away from Steiner every time he was after him, and tagging in Hugh Morrus. Morrus got the advantage on Big Poppa Pump attacking him from behind with a chop block. He worked over Steiner on the mat and connected with his crazy stomping legdrop thing. Cover for two. Steiner tagged Helms in and Shane actually did a good job against the much larger Morrus. He was like a firecracker unleashing his fury on the man that cost him the Cruiserweight title forcing the big man to tag out. Helms and Jarrett went at it, but Double J almost won the match with the Figure Four until Steiner came in and broke it up. After connecting with the Shining Wizard he tagged in Steiner and Jarrett had no where to run. Big Poppa Pump landed two consecutive Over head Belly to Bellies and covered for two. Jarrett came back and clotheslined Steiner to the outside, after tossing him into the stairs Scott lost his temper, and reached under the ring grabbing the lead pipe! He chased Jarrett around the ring, and swung the pipe at Jeff. The ref had seen enough of the potentially life threatening action and called for the bell dq'ing Steiner!

Jeff Jarrett and Hugh Morrus defeated Scott Steiner and Hugh Morrus by disqualification

    -74%-76%-72%

Steiner continued to chase after Jarrett, running him up the ramp. Morrus and Helms were still fighting in the ring to the sound of the bell ringing over and over as the show took its final break. Steiner was dq'd for trying to use the pipe tonight, tomorrow night would be a different story with the lead pipe a legal part of the match.

    And the match is official...

When the show came back on the air the ring was decked out in red carpet, and a desk was set up in the middle of it with two chairs on each side. Shane McMahon stood in the ring with a microphone and there were atleast five secuirity guards in the ring to ensure that the two men didn't get into a cuffle like they did the last time they were involved in one of these affairs.

Shane McMahon: "WCW fans it gives me great pleasure to present this next segment to you all. At the Bash at the Beach we will witness the culmination of one of the most fierce rivalries WCW has witnessed since.. I (Shane O'Mac smiles) took over the reigns. At the Bash at the Beach the WCW World Heavyweight champion Val Venis will put the world Heavyweight Title on the line against Booker T, and tonight we will make this match official, with both superstars signing the contract. So without further adue I give to you first, residing in Toronto Ontario Canada he is the WCW World Heavyweight Champion, Val Venis!"

Venis comes out to the dismay of the fans in attendance, he had new music that was similar to the Team Canada music but different, more hard rock I'd say. He comes out with the title over his shoulder, and gives shane a smug look before taking his seat at the desk.

Shane McMahon: "And his opponent, from Harlem New York, he is a four time WCW Champion... Booker T!"

Booker T had the support of the fans, that was to say the least he came out to a huge pop! He walks to the ring in confidence wearing tan slacks and a FUBU shirt. He stares Venis down, and then takes a seat.

Shane McMahon: "alright guys, lets keep this professional I have a whole team of secuirity behind the two of you, you are not to touch one another! Now Booker T as the challenger why don't you sign first."

Booker happily took the pen and jotted down his name.

Shane McMahon: "and Val, now you."

Venis waited a few moments and they he too signed the contract. McMahon took it and held it up.

Shane McMahon: "Well, there you have it folks at".......

Val Venis: "Hold up! I've got something to say. Huh huh ha!"

Venis took the mic from Shane and stood up looking at booker T. Booker stood up as well staring right at the Champion.

Val Venis: "Booker T I seriously don't get your deal. time after time I have beaten you with this title on the line, why would tomorrow night be any different?"

Booker snatched the mic out of Venis' hand.

Booker T: "You wanna know my deal sucka!? The deal is this! Tomorra' night, Bash at the Beach, the Booker Man is gonna make history, and that is by becomin' tha' Five time! Five time! Five time! Five time! Five time! WCW Champion! And there ain't a damn thing that ya' gonna do about it..... (Booker turned his head and then turned it back before shouting) SUCKAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!"

Booker T drops the mic after screaming in Venis' face, the champion takes offense and the two stars stand nose to nose as the show leaves the air with secuirity making sure they don't lay a hand on one another. Tomorrow night WCW Presents the Pay-Per-View Event of the summer, Bash at the Beach!

  23. when a taxi pulled into the lot and Goldylocks approached. Stepping out of the cab was Scott Hall. Guess he‘s not allowed to drive, too much risk in it I suppose….

I loved that line, cracked me up. Hall behind the wheel is most definatly a recipe for disaster.

The Young Lions Battle Royal had me interested on the preview, shocked to see it didn't turn out so good in the game, glad to see you wrote the match to reflect that. I thought uou would have went with Haas ir Benjamin, but Punk was a nice surprise.

The Punk promo was good, first time I've seen the Straight Edge Character used in a diary, most others have used his gothic gathering gimmick. Waiting for Kanyon to come to TNA, and tell Punk that he's not better than Kanyon.. lol

I liked the Lost Boys versus York and Matthews match, This New church has me interested. But I'm wondering now with the Lost Boys as the constant Tag-Team of the group will Lestat be used as the singles star of the group, or will he stay with Slash and the Anointed One be the singles force.

Corino in TNA, is a good thing. The match with Storm was a good read and had some funny lines in there. Leaved me wondering if Corino represents the Old School will he be Awesome and Mantell's challenger to their tradition breaking ways? Could be a good feud.

I'm surprised you went with Fleisch instead of Spanky or Moore, nice swerve with Storm laying waste afterward.

Aha... I thought we'd be seeing a triple threat for the title and sure enough it was announced. A ladder match should be a pretty good showcase match to crown the first Champion.

Hall gets the win this week but I doubt he will next, all in all Jarrett and Hall should still prove to be entertaining. I think Steiner was still pretty banged up with a hurt back and heel around this time, can't wait for Shamrock to apply the Ankle Lock on it :)

Next week should be an awesome event. This is quickly becomming my favorite Diary in the dome, hope you keep up the momentum, I'll be reading.

    WCW Unleashed Preview:

    July 21, 2001

With one day remaining until the Pay Per View Event of the summer, Unleashed marks the last stop in the road until the Bash at the Beach. Announced last week, tonight on Unleashed we will witness the official contract signing for the Main Event of Bash at the Beach between the WCW World Heavyweight Champion Val Venis and Booker T. Each time these two are in the ring together it's anything but friendly.

In a bit of a preview of the Invite-Only Battle Royal at the Bash at the Beach, we will see not one but two 4 man battle Royal Match-ups on Unleashed where eliminations may occur via over the top rope, or pinfall and submission. In the first of the two matches Elix Skipper, Kid Romeo, Michael Modest and Jason Jett will battle it out while the cruiserweight champion Jamie Knoble, Juventud Guerrera, Shannon Moore and Evan Karagias wage war in the other.

Plus that's not all as One half of the WCW World Tag Team Champions Chuck Palumbo with Sean O'Haire in his corner will face off against rob Conway with Nick Dinsmore watching his back, this is just one day before these two teams meet for the Tag team titles at Bash at the Beach! Be sure not to miss WCW Unleashed!

EDIT: Wow, thanks alot for all the predictions, keep them coming. Oh and if you want to change your predictions after Unleashed goes up, feel free to just make sure you note that you had changed them so I don't count your old ones (I have some copied down) Thanks for the pinning, I'm really psyched about it!
