  1. Red, Green and Blue lights have all been reported. Not sure about pulsing but definately flashing ones. Krazy K linked me to a thread on GameFAQ's yesterday where a guy had supposedly shot down a UFO. He had pics too, they looked pretty good but I still don't really believe it.
  2. If you do 50 taxi fares, from then on every taxi and cabbie you get in will have NOS.
  3. Pick up your tags, dudes: More coming soon.
  4. Well if it says you can, then you can. Just go up to some Grove St dudes and recruit them like I said.
  5. How many fares have you done in one go? Just done the taxi missions for the first time today, they're pretty easy. I did 21 fares before I ploughed into this stupid water thing in East Los Santos. I'll have another bash later to get the 50 required. I'm right in saying they don't have to be consecutive, right? Also, is this included in the things you have to do to get 100%?
  6. Do you mean recruiting gang members? If so, you need to be so far along the game (I don't exactly know how far) and then you recruit gang members by aiming at them (they must be wearing green) and pressing the Up button. To begin with you can have 3 gang members but it can rise up to 8 as your game progresses. They'll follow you and if you get in a car they will too. You press Up for them to follow you and Down to tell them to stay where they are.
  7. Once I get my PS2 Max Drive through the post I'll be using a screenshot of my own character in my game. If you can get a picture of your own guy, feel free to use that, as it would be best.
  8. http://www.gtasanandreas.net/artwork/ <= try here. Krazy, how far are you in the game? So I know kind of power I can give you.
  9. Summers, there's a few around on http://www.rockstargames.com/sanandreas
  10. Well your PM has a red X, AS. Besides, Krazy K beat both of you to Woozie Post in here rather than PM. S'easier.
  11. Many GTA forum members have created their own online gangs, groups and mafias. Well this is ours. It's kinda pointless, but it's only fun. By replying here with a character picture and a preferred title you can have your own LC sig too and be part of the group. If you're not sure what title you want to be given, tell me how far you are with the game, and what are you best at/what is your favourite thing to do? So far we have: Management Junky: The Boss (Gang Leader) Specialists Iwc: The Truth (Paranormal Investigator) Krazy K: The Shooter (Expert Gunman) ChrisSteeleAteMyHamster: The Assassin (Contract Killer) Bluesman: The Driver (Hired Chaffeur) Kaney: The Law (Vigilante) LivingLegend: The Stuntman (Motorcycle Daredevil) Dragon27: The Wheels (Getaway Driver) Ekin Jones: The Dealer (Car Dealer) Sycodmn: The Guerilla (Gang Warfare Militant) Tristof Kitler: The Cleaner (Drug Dealer Disposal) Goons Dan Apple Shampoo Summers A-Dub Cthemason Death Before Dishonour Media 2.0 Rock On.
  12. There's a 2 player rampage (I think, well at least the icon is two skulls) in the City Hall area near the Police Station.
  13. I saw that last weekend. The other Bigfoot one was funnier. It was just a paint blob with a speech bubble that said "rawr i'm bigfoot!" Great stuff. There's lots of interesting (although mostly idiotic) posts on IGN. I'm now a regular visitor there as well as the GTAforums.com.
  14. On a related note, I just found out that the Max Drive (16mb USB device) that seems the best choice for this kind of thing can be bought for a mere £12.99 on Play.com. Really, even if you're not interested in using it for GTA, it's well worth looking at rather than buying memory cards which are more expensive and have less storage space. Look: http://www.play.com/play247.asp?source=677...S2&title=167036
  15. That's not a ghost truck really though. We're only considering the one in Back O' Beyond because it moves by itself. Just the fact that they're beat up does not make them a ghost vehicle.
  16. Great thread Keith. Much better than the million threads I've read over at IGN where not one poster has come forward with pictures to prove their findings. Keep it up and I'll feed you with some more myths
  17. The blur effect alongside the NOS reeks of Need For Speed: Underground. Which can only be a good thing.
  18. Having different cars appear and disappear shouldn't be scaring you. :\ Cars spawn all over the map all the time, as they have in every GTA game.
  19. Agreed those were the tricky ones. I got gold in both though That guy you're thinking of is Russ Swift. He's a friend of my dad's... I've met him a few times.
  20. If you're not onto SF yet then there's the Panopticon you can visit (North West corner of the island) there's plenty of weird ass shit going on there too.
  21. I tried it (for research purposes only, of course). Didn't work.
  22. To make some quick money on a relatively easy R3 type mission, go to the 24/7 store a block West of City Hall. There's a bmx parked outside. Get on it and you can do courier missions. Each time I did them I got $1,500 for the first of the four missions, and that increased with each one as long as you do them with time to spare. If you complete them all you gain the store as an assett and earn about $2000 a day.
  23. *********Possible Spoilers?******** If the huge commercial plane is AKA the Leviathan. Then you can unlock it through pilot school I think.
  24. On my brother's game (I'm not onto San Fierro yet) we got silvers in most and gold on a few. What's the trick to that Burn and lap though? I did it in about 38.5 seconds with no damage and I still didn't medal it.
  25. I think I read somewhere that the first generation PS2's have some kind of vulnerability to disc read errors with playing San Andreas. We've just recently got a silver one and I've had no problems so far.
