  1. I have so much trouble changing chords, apparently C and G are the ones I need to really try, but by the time I've initiated a change, theres been too long of a pause to of made it officially a 'switch'. I really can't see any improvement here.

Maybe I should pay for some lessons, but I don't want to.

  2. More news regarding King:

Tottenham face an injury dilemma over captain Ledley King after he delayed a knee operation to help England beat Argentina in Geneva.

He will be sidelined for around six weeks after surgery, and boss Martin Jol is reportedly pondering whether to now wait until the end of the season.

King is likely to want the operation quickly, with his sights set on the World Cup in Germany next summer.

He has been handed a key role for England as a holding midfield player.

King had the task of man-marking Argentina playmaker Juan Riquelme and revealed the game proved a steep learning curve.

"It was difficult for me," he said. "They have got players who like to drop into the hole and at times I found it hard.

"Riquelme is a top-class player and there were times he drifted out wide, dragged me out - and left spaces for other players to move into.

"It is a learning process. I don't play there often so every game is a learning curve and it is a good lesson being up against some of the best."

Spurs, meanwhile, have insisted they have yet to offer a new contract to King after reports that he had rejected a fresh deal.

The 25-year-old's current contract runs until 2008 and Spurs sporting director Damien Comolli said: "We initiated talks with Ledley and his advisors.

"Our discussions are in the early stages and will continue in private.

"It is totally inaccurate to say that he has rejected any offer, we haven't made one."

  3. Has anyone noticed odd substitions in a game? I played Sheff Wed away and after 2 minutes they made a substition but the player that went off had like 94 condition and they swooped him with someone who played in the same position. It was still 0-0 at the time

  4. England and Liverpool striker Peter Crouch has revealed his shock at the criticism he has had to suffer because of his lack of goals.

Crouch, 24, is in the England squad to play Argentina on Saturday but has yet to score in 14 outings for Liverpool since signing for £7m in the summer.

"I've not been unduly affected by the criticism because of our fans' support," he told the Liverpool Echo.

"It has taken me aback just how negative other people have been."

The 6ft 7in forward added: "I suppose that's what happens if you don't get on the scoresheet and I'm learning that when you join a high profile club you become an instant target.

"Things are scrutinised a lot more here but as long as I'm doing a job which the manager, my team-mates and the fans are happy with, I won't let it get me down."

Crouch has also failed to score in two appearances for England and he seemed to bear the wrath of England's supporters after he came on for the popular Shaun Wright-Phillips in the World Cup qualifier against Poland last month.

"Maybe the criticism built up after the England game but I'm not really interested in what anyone outside Liverpool thinks now," he said.

"Nobody here has a problem with me, so everyone else can say what they like.

"I was gutted I couldn't get that first goal at Aston Villa on Saturday because I had the chances."

England coach Sven-Goran Eriksson and Liverpool boss Rafael Benitez have jumped to Crouch's defence.

Eriksson has even urged fans not to jeer Crouch if the striker appears for England against Argentina in this Saturday's friendly.

"I would tell the fans that he will not be better by being booed," said the Swede.

"Crouch is maybe not the most elegant footballer in the world but he's very, very special.

"Crouch is young and inexperienced, but every time he plays for Liverpool he gets more and more experience.

"I don't know if he will be in the squad for the World Cup next summer. But I would like to have him in because he gives us things not many others can give."

  5. <_< your screwed mate lol Shove nine people in defense. Use your sweeper positions and your defensive positions and leave one guy up front. Play longball, ultra defensive, counter attack, limited creative freedom. You might scrape out a draw, or even nick it.

  6. This is game is getting on my nerves now. I have half the squad out and a goalkeeping injury crisis leaving me with some 16 year old, yet I can't get anybody on loan because the loan button is darkened out and so I can't make an offer.

    Why is this?
