Pray for a win then. The eels were sloppy last weekend and are still in 'comeback' mode every week they play. Hope we can just shut them out.

Didn't get to see the game, was out at dinner. Fuck me, we got hammered, at least it wasn't by the Sharks. Knights had a good win over the Broncs, still can't believe Israel is going to GayFL next year, such a waste.

Yes. The few times they have played the anthem before our footy games (usually the grand final/special days) I have sung it. Usually better than the swine singing into the microphone

Why have I only just found this thread? Weird. I'm a die-hard Bunnies fan and what a weekend it was to be one! Our injury toll (with Sutton out now as well) doesn't look good going into the semi's but hopefully we can make it. Who does everyone think will make it to the gf? For me the Roosters are hitting some strong form, I'm backing them to make it... and the Sharks

I finished the Percy Jackson series last week. Have just started on 'Escobar' a biography on Pablo Escobar written by his brother Roberto Escobar. Currently about 50 pages in and am loving it, the life this man had is just crazy.

I find that so crazy that a town can get that into HS football. Over here HS football is almost non exsistent, we mostly play for a local club on the weekend and even now playing 1st grade for a small town club we don't get big crowds (our biggest we had was last years grand final, local derby, just over 5k people) but people do stop you in the street and ask about the team and stuff like that. I just find it amazing the passion a town could have for a team of HS footballers. I would have loved to experience that sort of feel, but at the same time the pressure must be massive on the team with a whole town looking at you. Have any of you guys played football in HS for a town like this?

Season One is definitely the best. The whole way it plays out it's just fantastic. As for the current season, I've only missed episode Two and Four... anything important happend on that episode? What season are you up to? I don't have Foxtel and got all the seasons of the net so I don't know what season they are currently showing. I have always wondering if high school football was actually like this in the US? Does it come close to what they portray it as on FNL and many other movies?

I'm a huge FNL fan as well. Australian too. I have watched through to season four and can't wait for season five. I just started to watch season one again yesterday and now remember why I love this show so much. Hope you guys are enjoying it.

Deadwood. Alot of my mates were saying how good it was, yet i just couldn't get into it, found it boring and felt like i wasted a good hour of my life whilst watching it. One show that got hyped up and i am now addicted to is Entourage, i can't get enough of it and can't wait for the new season.

Lol, that was in the first match. It was the Dungatti team, they are... ah, how do i put this? They are an all Aboriginal team (not that i have anything against Aboriginals) I am pretty sure this is their first year back in the comp after getting kicked out for fighting and what not when they were the Gimpysy Warriors. Our game was clean and fuck trying to fight them, they are HUGE! The dude that was in the fight got smashed it was piss funny.

Can't wait for this season. I'm pulling for the Rabbits to go a tad futher this year. But last year was pretty good for us! I got to experience, first hand the Roosters pre-season. They came up to Port Macqaurie on Friday night and had a trial match against three local teams, Dungatti, Port Macquarie and my team the Wauchope Blues. Each team got 30mins against the Roosters. Dungatti got a 48-0 thrashing, we got rolled 22-0 which was a good effort we held them out for 15mins until they scored in the corner. They can't hit so hard it's not funny. I was play 5/8 and got smashed everytime i had the ball. It was a buzz thou. Port Macquarie got rolled 28-4, they scored a lucky try in the corner of a dropped ball or something but it was good to see a loacl side score. All the Rooster boys where nice and willing to talk to everyone, i had a chat with Big Willie, Nat Miles, Fitzy, Freddy, Amos Roberts, Shilington, Mini and a few of the Under 20's. All the kids/everybody there (over 5,00 people) were going nuts for Willie, he was good he signed so many autographs, got photo's, talked to fans, he seemed to enjoy it alot! All in all it was a great night. And we got to see first hand how fit they are and how much faster the NRL is cause i was rooted!
