I'm pretty happy with how Green Bay's draft played out. We got two good running backs with the potential of being great in Lacy and Franklin at a steal compared to what they were being projected to go. On top of that, Datone Jones seems to fit the 3-4 scheme well and has very good potential to help the lackluster defense. A couple of defensive prospects and some o-linemen are all pretty cool as well. Considering Ted kept trading down to accumulate as many late round picks as possible, some of them must be worth a damn. Injuries are still key, though. GB's past 3 first rounders have all been plagued by injuries, and I'm hoping when all return they'll live up to the potential they had when drafted.
As for the other teams, I thought the Ravens, Niners, and Bengals all had excellent drafts. The Jets the Eagles, and the Jaguars also did pretty well, making some good progress towards improvement.. I think the Panthers got a steal in Star Lotulelei, as did Pittsburgh with Jarvis Jones. I thought Miami would've been better off with Lane Johnson than Dion Jordan. Buffalo was terrible, and I can't believe they took Manuel as highly as they did with Geno Smith still on the board. As usual, Dallas, Oakland, and Chicago all made some pretty awful picks, overvaluing players and generally being as "WTF" as possible with them. I also wasn't impressed by Cleveland at all. I'm hoping the Viking's three pick gamble in the first round fails, as they could be legit contenders for the NFC North title now.

This app is great, but it works way too slow on my wi-fi to get through an episode.

Wow, Lacy fell right into our lap. I wasn't high on him as first round pick, but he's an excellent value here at a position that GB has neglected for years.

I've seen it a million times, but I saw Catch Me If You Can again recently, and it was great. One my personal favorites and one of those movies you just can't turn off once you start watching.

The Place Beyond the Pines is a really well made movie. The three act structure did catch me off guard, so letting everyone know in advance. Ryan Gosling was fucking excellent, easily his best performance in my eyes.

Refs pretty much hand the game to Louisville at the end, no surprise there.

I've had a habit the past three years or so of always checking Ebert's website before viewing a film. I'm going to miss being able to read his great reviews.

DMN will always be remembered as one of the biggest busts in NFL history. :/

Wishing Flynn all the luck in the world as a Green Bay alum. If he can perform half as well as he did during his two starts for us, then he's gonna surprise a lot of folks. Besides, the bar has been set pretty low by Palmer.

Why doesn't USC go after Howland? He seems like a perfect fit there, and both parties can stick it to UCLA at the same time.

Wichita State is headed to the Final Four, and somewhere a solitary tear of joy trickles down Paul Wight's face.

Florida Gulf Coast is still awesome.

Maybe Dallas feels that if they pay Romo elite money, then he will suddenly become an elite quarterback.

Iowa State is hanging tight here with Ohio State at the end. Rooting for any and all upsets at this point that will cause further chaos. My bracket is dead, so everyone else's should be as well.
-
Well, with Gonzaga about to go down my bracket is pretty much dead. I had a pretty good first round all things considered, but these upsets this year are unreal. See you all next year.
-
Well I just lost a Final Four team. Fuck you very much, Georgetown.

I had to give a 15 minute oral presentation on Things Fall Apart in English last year. Great novel, and I'm sad to see him go.
-
I was doing pretty well until fucking New Mexico lost to Harvard. I had them in the elite eight. 13 of 16 right on day 1.
-
I called the Oregon win and predicted Cal to take it as well. Hoping they can hang on here against UNLV.
-
My bracket was dangerously close to being busted right there.
-
Well Memphis finally won our first NCAA tournament game in the Pastner Era. We played like total shit, almost blowing the game, but a win is a win I suppose. I fully expect to get slaughtered against the Spartans.

Fucking Urlacher has gone.
As long as he doesnt go to Green Bay or Minnesota I hope he does well
He's not coming to GB. Linebacker isn't our most urgent position of need, not to mention he doesn't match defensive scheme. Maybe the Vikings, or he could be smart and retire to take a cushy sportscasting job.

I actually had La Salle(who I assumed would beat Boise) over K State at first as well, but I chickened out and changed it. :/

My school's home economics teacher is the wife of Patriot's Hall of Fame receiver Stanley Morgan. Apparently, she gives the class a grade every year for fan nominating him to the Pro Football Hall of Fame via e-mail or something of the sort.
