Anyone see Celtic Pride? One of my favs....

Small Soldiers was my favorite as a kid, and Mystery Men was fun too. I also liked The Box, if anyone's seen that.

I'll ditto the love for Jingle All the Way. It's just not Christmas for me without watching that movie. On a Phil Hartman and Sinbad note, Houseguest is also hilarious imo. Maybe it's just the wrestling fan in me, but I adore Ready to Rumble as well.

Got to see Argo tonight. Very suspenseful and well-made, with a cool retro style. It was probably the best film I've seen in a while, and I'm definitely glad I decided to see it over Taken 2...

That call was bullshit. Yeah, i'll admit that my Braves haven't exactly been good in October in the past 10-20 years (excluding the 1995 World Series), but that call will be the reason we lose. It's completely ridiculous.

The reason they lost the game is because they were down by three runs. The call was blown, but to say it soley cost the Braves the game is just as ridiculous.

I was sick last night and went to bed before the game. I'm pissed, but not as pissed as I would've been last night. Terrible call.

I went to a screening of Here Comes the Boom last night. I wasn't expecting much, but it exceeded my expectations. I'm sure it won't be winning Oscars or anything, but the film was clean and surprisingly funny, with some good acting as well.

Packers pass rush looked damn good tonight, although not saying much against a terrible Bears offense. Matthews looks like a beast out there. Our offensive still isn't up to par with last year, but Cobb and surprisingly Benson are bright spots.

I agree, but in my defense, that comment was made at halftime. In my opinion, most of the bad calls directed towards the Niners came during the second half, after they already had firm control of the game. By the way, if those results make it a good weekend for you, then I'm sure when the Packers decimate Chicago next Thursday it'll be a terrible night for you.

You're a bastard for saying that Chicago will win the division over Green Bay(11-5, WTF?), but you make up for it by predicting them to go all the way.

Got to go see the film today. There were a lot of security/rent-a-cops at my theatre, for obvious reasons. The film itself was fantastic, better than BB and only slightly inferior to TDK imo. I really can't see where all the hate for the film. My only real gripes were:

A. The ending with Alfred should have just ended with him nodding. Actually showing Bruce/Selina was unneccesary.

B. Bane's voice, although cool, was muddled and hard to understand at times. That might just be me, though. Hardy was great btw.

C. Perhaps too much action, even for Batman. It is the grand finale though, so I'll let it slide.

Just came home from seeing the Batman Begins, TDK double bill, can't wait for tomorrow.

Can someone explain to me how LA would land Howard, Cleveland would get Bynum and Orlando would think this was a worthwhile trade to make when the best piece they would get back is the Brazilian Sideshow Bob? The NBA is a joke.

If were the Magic, Bynum would be the one player I would want. I sure as hell wouldn't let Gilbert get his hands on him in exchange for Carlito and draft picks. That would be an awful trade, and they would have been better off taking the Brooklyn deal.
