I finally got around to watching The Artist today. I was honsetly expecting to be disappointed, as I usually am with recent Best Picture winners. To my surprise, it was actually great and a lot of fun to watch. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who has been hesistant to give it a shot.

Dickey is amazing and all, but he has absolutely NOTHING on Abe 'Knuckleball' Schwartz.(Yes, I did find this thread to make a lame joke)

I just heard Mayweather's comments. What a dick.
The thing about what he said is that he was technically correct. Much of Lin's attention comes from the fact that he's an Asian in largely African American dominated league. The thing that pissed me off about it is that he talks about it as if it's a bad thing. I think it's great that Lin is breaking down barriers/stereotypes and see nothing wrong with people giving him attention for it. Can we honestly say that guys like Jackie Robinson and Tiger Woods would have been as big as they were/are if they weren't black stars in sports dominated by whites? I don't think so.

I thought they were a little slow on stopping the clock during that final Patriots possession. It seemed like the clock ran an extra 4 seconds or so each time it was supposed to stop. Those extra ten seconds or so most likely wouldn't have made much of difference, but I'll bitch about them anyway because I hate the Giants.

That was a close fight, but I was seriously getting annoyed with Rogan's constant dickriding of Bisping throughout.

Honestly can't say I'm sad to see it go. The earlier seasons were pure gold, but the last 10 seasons or so have all been pretty lackluster.

Honestly, unprofessional or not, I wouldn't have let Phillips and Cueto in either. Both got really big heads during the '10 season when the Reds finally got a taste of success, with Phillips saying that he hates the Cardinals and Cueto pretty much ending Jason Larue's career during that brawl. In my opinion, Cueto has no buisness playing anymore after what he did, let alone making the all-star team, talent or not. Phillips has also proven himself to be a massive douche. They both deserve what they got, imo.
