  1. This is the most boring start to a free agency is years. Biggest move is Bruce Brown to the Pacers or Gabe Vincent to the Lakers. Seems like everybody else just stayed.

Oh, and Joe Ingles to the Magic, which I don't get if he wants to win a title.

  2. Been seeing a lot of Hawks fans saying that Collins shooting dropped off so much after breaking his finger, that he isn't the same player he was a few years ago. Rather that's true or not, I have no idea. I just know he's not Rudy Gay and that makes me happy.

ABC providing the worst draft coverage I have ever seen in my life.  I have no idea why they are showing this on the network, they are literally ignoring the draft picks to talk about NBA news, and then talking about draft picks later on.  This is super dumb and terrible.

It would have been nice to know that ABC was talking storylines and news while ESPN was doing pick by pick. Missed the Jazz pick.

Loving the picks so far the Jazz. Hendricks and George fit in perfectly.

Is this Kristaps trade suppose to be a win for Boston? NBA is still trending small and Smart is an All-Defensive player every year and plays his role along JB and JT well.

Just an odd deal imo, esp with the concerns about Brogdan's shoulder.

I don't think it is. I don't see how he fits in with JB and JT and losing Smart really hurts their defense. I think they did good getting the two first round picks.

  5. I haven't been this excited for a draft in a long time. So many different ways the Jazz could go. I'm hoping we end up with Whitmore or Walker at 9, or one of the Thompson twins drop to us. At 16, assuming we don't trade up to 12, I'm guessing it'll be Kobe Bufkin or George. I'm not a fan of the guy from France, so hoping we pass on him.

If we keep 28, I hope Whitehead is still available, I feel like he could be a steal.

  6. Draft is tomorrow (tonight?) Khris Middleton opted out of his contract, becoming one of the biggest free agents out there.

Boston has traded for Kristaps Porzingis, sending Marcus Smart to Memphis, and Memphis sending Tyrus Jones to Washington. Boston also got two first round picks out of the deal.

Coach Spo is one of the smartest coaches to do the thing. He didn't play Tyler cause he's packaging him up in a trade so why risk it.

I'm sad, but I can't be upset. I didn't expect this run at all and fully telegraphed getting swept by the Bucks in round 1. Here's to trading for Dame and getting right back here next year.

While I agree that Coach Spo is a great coach, not playing a player that can help you extend out a championship series just to package him in a trade is not very smart. If Herro could have played, you play him. And if he can't help you win, why even dress him?

  8. Heat were done halfway at halftime, they just managed to keep it close. Jimmy Butler clearly folded under the pressure. Makes no sense to at least try Tyler Herro. Coach Spo knew the game was over, hence the no fouling.

Mad respect to Jokic, so humble. Game ends, immediately goes over to shake the hands of the Heat players. And, like @damhausensaid, the job is done, it's good, I can go home now. I'll never be happy that Denver won a title, but happy for their players and staff, top notch all around.

The cancellation has now been made official, with people who bought the game on Switch getting a choice of free games as compensation.

I've been hearing a lot of worrying stories about Aspyr. The KOTOR remake is apparently progressing very poorly, and it's not a good sign that they can't port over years-old content that they announced months ago.

Thanks for the update. Figured it was coming. Rumor is that the DLC has been done, but they couldn't release it and can't say one. Oh well, just submitted my request for the Force Unleashed.

  10. 6 years, $78.5 million. I didn't realize until now that it's the biggest coaching contract in league history. Could reach up to $100 with incentives and has a team option for years 7 and 8. For a coach that has never won a championship, that is just insane numbers.
