  1. I hate metal fans in general, all sub genres of metal, because they're the pickiest, whiniest fuckwits ever. I'm not a fan of Slipknot myself, but I hate it when "fans" do that kinda stuff. They boo em, yet I bet 95% of the people in that crowd couldn't get on stage and do what they do night after night. They boo'ed because Slipknot changed their style? Boo fucking hoo, it's THEIR music, THEIR art, THEIR interpretation of things. They're doing something they love for a living, a thing hardly anyone gets to do anymore. If you don't like em, at least show them a little respect.

  2. Yes, my tastes have evolved extremely, when I was young, were i was brought up, it was a very "pop" culture, so I was brought up on pop music and club music sadly. Eventually I got invovled in the early nu metal movement and loved the likes of Korn, Limp Bizkit, etc. Over the years, my love for music evolved and became more diverse, now I listen so much, from experimental jazz by Esbjorn Svensson Trio, to psychotic heavy metal by the Dillinger Escape Plan. I don't tie myself down to any genre anymore.

  3. You lost, get over it.

Sadly, for the majority of us English, thats impossible. They'll bitch and moan about it till the next World Cup, then we'll get knocked out again and find something else to blame it on.

When it came down to it,

England DID deserve that winning goal.

But England DIDN'T deserve to win the game.

  4. Biggest screwjob? I'd say Wrestlemania 9, poor Yokozuna, Champion for about 5 minutes. Ah well, I'm a Hogan mark :P

As for England, stop whining, everytime we get knocked out of a tournament, we always find something or someone else to blame. We bitch about every mistake, and it just makes us look stupid. Take it on the chin, we got knocked out, lets look forward to the World Cup. Mind you, we'll probably get knocked out there and blame Germany, because we're in their country and they started the Second World War.

(The show opens with almost 10 of the EWBW Locker Room trying to complain to Marsh about Skumfrog & Kou getting a shot at the Number 1 Contendership for the EWBW World Championship. Marsh attempts to calm them all down but he seems unsuccessfull with his attempts. Eventually, because of all the arguing Marsh flips and screams for everyone to shut up. He announces that they'll all be involved in the Main Event at King of the Dome in some way, as whoever isn't involved in a match already that night, will be lumberjacks for the main event, as he just made it a Lumberjack Match!!. The wrestlers dispears and seem much happier by this decision.)

    TheAce Vs TheMysteriousStranger

TheAce was defending his EWBW Hobo Championship for the first time tonight against the man of mystery, TheMysteriousStranger!! He was so mysterious in the match, TheAce didn't know what he was gonna do next. But after 5 minutes, TheAce was kicking his ass all around the ring!! TheMysteriousStranger didn't seem very prepared for the match and was at a rather bad disadvantage. The end came soon after an impressive top rope scissor kick by TheAce, with TMS stunned, TheAce was able to deliver the "Be Joked" to take out TMS and to get the pin.

    Magus978 Vs Jonny Polo

Both men making their EWBW debuts tonight, this new young talents where making to look a big impression in their first match on Adrenaline. Jonny Polo exploded at Magus with some high flying, high impact moves, knocking the wind out of Magus early on. With the momentum in Polo's favour, he tried for the early win, but Magus soon fought his way back into the match. Magus was able to hit Polo with the Burning Hammer, one of his signature moves, but before he could capitalize on it, Mike O came running from out of the crowd and into the ring, delivering a brutal chair shot to Magus!! With Magus out cold, Mike O waited for Polo to stumble up, then delivered the same blow to him. Mike O soon got on the mic, demanding that the EWBW take notice of him, because if he doesn't get matches, the EWBW gets victims, courtesy of Mike O!!!

    Stokerino Vs Tristy

This match came after the recent events of Stokerino smashing Tristy's CD player and his "beloved" Good Charlotte CD!! When both men where in the ring, Kanenite made his way down to the ring to watch the match. The match opened with a lot of submissions and holds from both wrestlers, Tristy eventually gained the upper hand. Tristy dominated for the majority of the match, much to the displeasure of Kaneanite. A low blow got Stokerino back into the match and he managed to lock on the "Cause & Effect" which certainly took a lot out of Tristy. Tristy eventually managed to get to the ropes, but the damage seemed to be done. Whilst Tristy was down, Stokerino signalled Kaneanite to get in the ring. He signalled for him to bounce off the ropes and legdrop the downed Tristy. Kaneanite did what he said, but instead of delivering a leg drop, he got a brutal clothesline from Stokerino!! With Kaneanite down, Tristy magically jumped up from the mat, he was fine!! The pair start to lay the boots in on the downed Kaneanite, and they deliver a brutal 3D to Kaneanite. The pair eventually leave, celebrating together. What the hell is going on with Stokerino and Tristy?

GoGosyco (GoGoYubari & sycodmn) Vs Future Shock & Living Legend

Two thirds of GoGosycoKou, who now seem to have ended their indefinate hiatus, teamed up to face the miss matching pair of boy band superstar, Future Shock & the rather Egotistical, LivingLegend. Who's ego is bigger? We just don't know...

Future Shock opened the match up strongly for this team, taking control over Yubari. Keeping him localised within his teams corner, it seemed it could be an early end for the GoGosyco. GoGo eventually managed to get a diving hot tag to syco who opened up much more than a can of whoop ass, it was at least a kegs worth!! He was cleaning house of the pair for a good 5 minutes, as they kept attempting wave after wave of attacks. Eventually, it slowed down to just himself and LivingLegend in the ring, and a brutal spinebuster kept him in charge of the match. He set up LL and GoGo climb the top rope to take a page out of the Legion of Dooms book, Doomsday Device!! Legend seemed to land badly on his neck. He attempted to get a hot tag to Future Shock but syco managed to drag him back to their corner and latched on a camel's clutch!! With the pain being unbearable, Legend tapped as GoGo took out Future Shock.

    EWBW Number 1 Contendership Match

    Kou Vs Skumfrog

With so much riding on this match, it seemed odd that nerves weren't getting to the pair. Clawson made his way to the ring to give additional commentary. Skumfrog took the majority of the match after delivering his signature multiple low blows. Kou's chances of winning seemed slim as the constant attacking of Skumfrog had definately taken it out of him. At one point, GoGosyco made their way to the stage to get the crowd to cheer for Kou, it gave him some momentum, although it was sadly cut short by a brutal headbutt to Kou's groin by Skumfrog. Skumfrog latched onto Kou and delivered 3 brutal German suplexes in a row, and attempted a 4th, but Kou grabbed the ropes. Clawson then jumped onto the mat and swung the World Title at Kou, but he missed!!! He just smacked Skumfrog with the World Championship!! Frog is down.... Kou locks in Kou's Kool Kubmission!! He's tapping!!! He's tapping!! Kou Wins!! Kou is the Number 1 contender!! because of Clawson!! WELCOME TO WCW.NET!!

Welcome to the biggest WCW news and rumours site on the net today. This week we've got some massive news about future WCW Storylines, WCW Hirings & Firings, and the rumoured come back of some old school WCW Stars!!

    WCW Storylines Leaked!!

Don't expect to see Jericho head into Spring Stampede as World Champion. Thats the rumour that has been buzzing on the net this week. Many believe he is to drop the title on this week's Nitro to Jindrak who is heading towards a major shock push. It is rumoured Jericho is very unhappy with the direction of his current storyling, he feels that he is being potrayed as a coward who is defeated easily. Many believe he will walk out after this week Nitro if he is asked to drop the title. Jindrak is said to head into Stampede as the World Champion and face Corino, who will be turned face as Jindrak makes his alliance with WCW Inc, and Corino is seen as a has been and thus ejected from the Super Stable. It is believed many top stars are angered by Jindrak's push and are claiming Snow's inexperience in running a promotion are to blame!

    WCW Stars heading to Japan?

WCW are said to be confirming that several of their WCW Star are going to be heading off to Japan to try out a WCW Tour. It will be a rather small event as WCW are still in the early days of being rebuilt, however, the 16 wrestlers, lead by Christopher Daniels, are said to be mainly high flyers who are going on the tour. If these rumours are true, this isn't doing any favours for Snow, who is seen as treating the lightweights badly by using his bigger heavyweights for the shows back home whilst they get sent on small tours in Japan.

    The old school to return?

It seems Lex Luger has been hinting that hey may come out of retirement and drop his less than great Hollywood career to take another shot at WCW. The star of awfully named "Lords of the Ring: Fellowship of the Bodyslam" is said to be tired of looking for work and is sick of being teamed up with former WWE wrestler turn actor Test in cheap low budget films.

In a recent interview for his latest film "Doorman", in which he plays a gay bouncer dealing with the struggle of living in a homophobic village and keeping up his solid doorman persona whilst also hiding his true identity, Luger commented by saying "WCW is where I was a true star, where I could let my true charisma flow, I feel trapped in this movies now, I feel I'm being held down by all the wrestlers turned actors in Hollywood now, as talented as I am in the business, guys like Hulk Hogan, Kevin Nash, Test, New Jack get the better jobs, I should be the star, but it seems that I belong in the ring, and I so hope to acheive that, by going back home to WCW..."

Will Luger return? WCW won't comment on it, so we can only presume the rumours must have some truth to them!!

(OOC: This is the last catch up post, the next show is where I'm starting from.)

Is it really over for the Champion?

Last week, Al Snow finally proved that there is no hope of rebelling against him, and has hard Jericho tried, it seemed unstoppable. Snow has created a force even to great for the WCW Champion, and a force so powerful, it made the WCW Champion look powerless. When the end of the night seemed to be in Jericho's favour, Snow had held out till the 11th hour to unleash his latest creation, his "hybrid" as he called it. Building on the foundations of The Hardcore Horsemen, Snow took it up to a new level, recruiting Ric Flair, Steve Corino & Sean O'Haire, WCW Inc. was formed, and now, they seem unstoppable. Jericho was the first to feel their power last week, when he received a severe beating at the hands of WCW Inc. It was 8 on 1, and nobody from the back dared to help the Champion, as he faced wave after wave of attacks.

And to make matters worse, it's not over for Jericho, and with Snow in charge, it won't be over for a long time. Tonight Jericho has another up hill struggle, he must successfully defend his World Championship twice to leave the arena as Champion tonight. He will face Jindrak & Scotty 2 Hotty in a gauntlet match for the WCW Championship, will the Champion survive, or is all this part of Snow's plan to finish Jericho's career, once and for all?

Also tonight, Martel finally gets his wish to face Daniels one on one in the ring, in a "Martel Rules Match". What are Martel's rules? We're probably right in guessing they will put Martel in favour of winning the match, but he is going up against a proven warrior, Daniels is not to be underestimated, no matter what stands in his way. What is certain though, is the pair will put on one hell of a match!! Booker T is also looking for some type of revenge tonight after Killings unexpected attack on him last week. Killings has been going on several rampage attacks recently, and I'm sure his victimes will soon catch up with him.

Is tonight going to be the end of the WCW Champion, Chris Jericho? Why have WCW Inc. formed when Snow already owns the company? And if Jericho has any kind of attack left in him, will it be enough to even buy him some time against the apocalyptic force of WCW Inc? Tune in this week to find out!!

    Matches on this week's Nitro:

    Ace Steel Vs Colt Cabana

    Chavo Guerrero Vs Vampiro

Shane Helms & Stevie Fabulous Vs Shawn Stasiak & Perry Saturn

    Kevin Martel Vs Christopher Daniels

    Booker T Vs Ron Killings

(The show starts by playing clips of the main event from Nitro, with the attack on Chris Jericho. Pyros then go off, as we open the show. Al Snow makes his way to the ring, and would like to make a speech. He announces that tonight, will see the end of something very short. Tonight will be the end, of Chris Jericho he says. Whether he leaves the building tonight alive or not, it will still be the end of Chris Jericho. Snow promises that Jericho will finally be put in his place be the true monster Snow will unleash tonight, and theres nothing Jericho can do to stop it. Jericho's music soon hits and the Champion makes his way to the ring. He says that Jericho will and can never end, his legacy is too big to be erased, and everybody knows that. And as for his career, he announces it is far from over, he promise his title reign will last a long time, and he'll be victorious at Spring Stampede, and will remain Champion. Snow laughs and reminds Jericho that he still has a major task at hand, he has to make it to Spring Stampede, and SURVIVE!! Snow laughs and walks off, leaving Jericho very frustrated in the ring.)

Scotty 2 Hotty & Mark Jindrak Vs Hardcore Horsemen

Al Snow is seen entering the backstage area as the Horsemen are about to go to this match, he reminds them of 'what to do in the match'. And they all laugh and agree.

Jindrak & Scotty seems very hesitant at the start of the match as the three monsters of Kurrgan, Tank & Heindenreich stand in the ring waiting. Jindrak finally attacks Kurrgan, and he hits the mat after one punch. Tank & Heindenreich exit quickly, ask Jindrak stands in shock. Kurrgan looks out cold, as Jindrak makes a worried looking pin, which ends up getting him the 3 count. Suddenly Kurrgan throws him off and jumps to his feet as the 3 members launch an assault of the tag team. They give them a severe beating before walking off.

Haas & Benjamin Vs The Briscoe Brothers

Both pairs face off in the ring straight away. Haas overpowers Mark Briscoe, whereas Jay Briscoe takes advantage of Benjamin, and works on him in the corner. The match eventually gets properly started with Haas & Mark Briscoe in the ring. Haas's skill and experience puts him the driving seat. Mark eventually got the hot tag and opened up a can of ass kicking on Haas. Haas eventually gets the tag on Benjamin, who should have in turn took the advantage back for Haas & Benjamin, however, he was overwhelmed by Jay's attack and stuggled to get much offence. Briscoe's soon had Benjamin set up for Briscoe Bomb, at it was executed perfectly. Haas untied a corner buckle and then warned the ref, who then went to tie it back. With the ref distracted, Haas grabbed a Tag Title and took out both of the Briscoe's!!! With 3 men out cold, Haas then pulled Benjamin on top of Jay, to get the pin!! Afterwards, the confused ref asked Haas what happened, and his only answer was a shrug. Haas & Benjamin seem a little shakey in there new Tag Team Title reign.

    Booker T Vs Psychosis

To former WCW & WWE Superstars went at in what turned out to be a good match despite the different styles of the pair. Booker T struggled to keep up with Psychosis's speed in this match, who was attacking at full throttle. Booker's experience helped him in the end though to keep Psyhcosis down on the mat for a long period of time, using several locks and submissions. Bookers style of wrestling has changed dramatically over the last few years dude to back problems reducing his performance. He has worked on his technical abilities a hell of a lot more since his decline in the WWE in late 2003/early 2004. With the Bookerman in the driving seat, all hope of a final offence seemed impossible, Ron Killings made a surprise appearance at ringside. This appearance seemed to annoy Booker somewhat who asked Ron to leave. With his focus off Psychosis, Psychosis was soon able to attack the distracted Booker with a reverse hurricanrana, which attacked the weakened back of Booker. Psychosis was then passed something by Ron Killings, Psychosis made his way over to Booker T, who delivered a swift kick to the crotch whilst certainly knocked the wind out of Psychosis. With Booker up, Psychosis attempted to hit Booker with the forgeign object, but he missed, Booker then punched the object out of Psychosis's hand!! Killings seemed most displeased and distracted the ref as Booker T hit the Book End and tried for the pin. Booker got up and then attempted to grab Killings who whacked the Bookerman in the temple with his chain medallion!! Booker went down as Psychosis was struggling to get up. He eventually got the undeserved pin. That cued Killing to jump in the ring and attack Booker T!! This is Killings second attack on a WCW wrestler in 2 weeks, what I going on in the mind of the WCW Playa?

CM Punk & Christopher Daniels Vs Steve Corino & American Dragon

Before the match starts, Kevin Martel makes his way to the ring in a WCW Referee shirt, he claims he's the ref now and tells the original ref to leave or feel Martel's wrath. The entrants eventually make their way down to the ring, with Martel and Daniels not taking their eyes of each other. The match carries on with both teams putting on some great offensive attacks. Martel seems to be calling the match right down the middle. However, once Daniels gets in the ring, Martel seems to throw the rulebook out of the ring, Daniels planted Angels Wings on Steve Corino, and when he went for the three count, he got an elbow drop on the head from Daniels!! Martel then shot up and warned Punk not to hit him as they'd be DQ'ed. Punk backs off as Corino takes control over Daniels. Corino & Dragon seem to control the match from then on, until a hot tag to Punk turns the tables on Corino & Dragon. Punk hits the Pepsi Plunge which Martel then gives the clean 3 count for!!! Punk seems confused why Martel called the end straight down the line, but Martel just shouted, I only want him and attacked Daniels!! Punk couldn't help as Corino took him outside with a clothesline other the ropes. Martel was laying in the punches, but Daniels started to fight back and got Martel in the corner and gave him an ass whupping he isn't gonna forget. Daniels finally sent a message to Martel in the form of the Angel's Wings!! Corino made a quick exit after attacking Punk.

    Sean O'Haire Vs Chris Jericho

O'Haire is accompanied to the ring by Ric Flair. Jericho makes his way to the ring with caution. The match gets underway with O'Haire taking an early attack to Jericho, who seemed weakened from his attack at the end of Nitro last week. O'Haire used several big hitting power moves to keep Jericho down. Jericho eventually gets a small chance and takes it, working on O'Haire left knee, he locks in a figure 4 leg lock which seems to last a life time for O'Haire, Flair distracts the ref as O'Haire begins to tap out. Jericho breaks the hold to get Flair, but out of nowhere, Corino enters the ring and hits Jericho with the Corino Crusher!! Corino leaves the ring as O'Haire gets to his feet eventually and delivers the Prophecy to Jericho. He goes for the pin but Jericho gives a last second kick out!! Snow makes his way down to the ring as O'Haire continues his attack on Jericho. He whips Jericho into the ropes and attempts the big boot, but Jericho hits a surprise Dragon Screw which takes O'Haire down, and Jericho modifys it to the Walls of Jericho!! With O'Haire in clear trouble, Flair interferes again to distract the ref, while Snow gets in the ring and smashes Jericho in the face with some brass knuckles. Jericho is out cold and O'Haire climbs onto Jericho for the pin. Afterwards, Flair, Snow & Corino get in the ring and continue to lay the boots in on Jericho, they are soon joined by the Hardcore Horsemen as it's 8 on 1!! Jericho is left motionless in the ring as Snow gets on the mic. He says a new hybrid has been born, the Hardcore Horsemen are no more, now there is only this, what he calls WCW Inc.!! And their motto is "If you're not with us, you're next!!" The group leave as they leave a result of their demonic power, the motionless Chris Jericho....

    Checkmate for Jericho?

Al Snow seems to be once again ahead of his rivals, and with his current problem, which is in the shape of Chris Jericho, he seems to have a firm grip of this rebellious new signing. With Snow's bargaining abilitys, the strike has now fizzled out with even so much as a protest. Only 1 man seems to be standing against Snow's plans for WCW now, and that one man is still Chris Jericho. However, Jericho's powers are great, yet weak. He may be the WCW General Manager, however, as long as he holds the WCW Championship, which is under the control of Snow, Jericho is almost powerless. And that fact was clearly shown last week on Nitro as Jericho delivered a brutal beating at the hands of Snow, Corino, Flair & new signing Sean O'Haire. Jericho is refusing to lie down though, he has booked himself in a match against O'Haire this week, in a non-title match up. How will Jericho fair against these odds, does the Championship mean that much to him, more than his pride? Tune in to find out.

This weeks Nitro has some great matches lined up, some booked by Snow, some by Jericho. As promised last week, Jindrak & Scotty have got a tough match against 3 of the Hardcore Horsemen, and if they can win, they get shots at Jericho's Championship!! Booker T will go toe-to-toe with Psychosis in what promises to be a great match. Daniels & Punk will team up once again to face the old school styles of Steve Corino and the returning American Dragon. And Haas & Benjamin will make their first tag title defence against the Cruiser Tag Champions, the Briscoe Boys!! Will Haas & Benjamin fail after coming so far and make the Briscoe Boys double tag Champions, or will the rejuvenated Haas & Benjamin show there dominance? Watch this week!!

Will Jericho make it to his match this week on Nitro? Will Kevin Martel return to to face Daniels? Do we see a new alliance forming in the shape of Snow/Flair/Corino/O'Haire?? Tune in to this weeks Nitro to find out!!

(Al Snow comes out and welcomes everyone to Nitro's return to Prime Time TV! He said with Nitro returning to Prime Time TV, that the first WCW PPV under his reign would happen at the end of this month! It would be Spring Stampede, and the first match to be booked, will be for the WCW Championship. With the World Title being mentioned, Jericho's music hits and the World Champion makes his way to the ring. Before Jericho can speak, Snow says that he's the WCW Owner, and he owns Jericho, and demands that he doesn't cut him off again. Jericho laughs and gives Snow a copy of his contract, he tells him to take a good long look at the 3rd paragraph, because it says, that the only people who have control of him in WCW, are himself, and Mr Smith. Anyone other than these 2, whom is in charge of WCW, is not allowed to give Jericho instructions, as Jericho is the official General Manager of WCW! The contract says it all in black and white, and that becomes apparant as Al Snow's face goes white in shock. Jericho wishes Snow a good night as he doesn't feel like fighting tonight. But as he gets to the top of the ramp, Snow makes a threat which Jericho cannot ignore, the contract makes no reference to the WCW World Championship, and Snow says if Jericho doesn't do what he says, he'll strip him of the title, as Jericho has powers over everything but the Championship! Snow tells Jericho that he will face Corino at Spring Stampede, otherwise he'll leave tonight as the former WCW Champion! Jericho accepts the match and says it'll make no difference, he's the greatest Champion of all time, and cannot be beaten.)

An entertaining opening match for the Television Champion. Hayashi's finely tuned high flying moves seemed to overwhelm Shane at first as Hayashi opened up with all guns ablazing, attempting to get the early win. Hayashi seemed to be in the driving seat upto the end of the match, when suddenly, Sonjay Dutt appeared from nowhere and attacked Hayashi whilst the ref was distracted by Shane. Dutt hit a huge Bombay Splash on the TV Champion, which was enough for Shane to hit a huge London Bridge on Hayashi for the win. Afterwards, Dutt returned to the ring to deliver one hell of a beating to Hayashi, he kept screaming that he's the only Television Champion and that he's Nitro's No.1 Opening Act! ("The Marvel" Kevin Martel, soon made his way down to the ring, after a brief break, he said The Marvel is back in WCW. He went on to claim about how he was robbed of the US Championship in his early days in the WCW, but now, he had bigger fish to fry. He announced, the next person he wanted to prove he was better than, was Christopher Daniels! He claimed the 4 Time TNA Champion, 3 Time ROH Champion was nothing compared to him. He said belts don't mean anything if you can't fight the fight. Daniels may have left TNA as TNA Champion to join WCW, but Martel's rage against Daniels went back much further, back to the start of the millenium, when he was in the "mediocre" FLI, whilst Daniels was all over the world, getting claims as "The Greatest Indy Wrestler in the World", and now, many believe he is the Greatest Wrestler in the World!, even greater than the likes of Kurt Angle, CM Punk, etc. But Martel knows he can prove everyone wrong and show that the Worlds Greatest Wrestler can destroy Chris Daniels easily. Martel then calls Daniels to the ring, but there is no reponse, Martel claims Daniels is chicken, and that if Daniels won't come to him, he'll go to Daniels, Martel then storms backstage.)

Casey is hyped and asks when it starts, then a chair shot to the back of head knocks him out cold! Kanyon is stood behind him smiling, and pins him. Snow laughs and says "It starts... erm, oh nevermind." Kanyon & Snow walk off leaving Casey out cold.)

    WCW Tag Team Championship Final

Haas & Benjamin Vs Helms & Fabulous

The moment had finally come for these 2 great teams. Both teams gave 110% in this match and it proved to possibly be one of the greatest matches in WCW History so far. The new WCW Tag Team Championships were hung above the ring in this ladder match, and it proved to be a very brutal meeting between these 2 finalists. Helms & Fabulous, having only just teamed recently, have created and unbelievable chemistry between them, and it showed in the match as they continued to kick Haas & Benjamins asses throughout the match. Their fluid, high flying, double teaming manoveurs where to quick and unstoppable for Haas & Benjamin to even think about dodging them! Eventually, Haas & Benjmain gained some composure in the match and got back into it. By using several mat based moves, they kept the high flying pair grounded and made the threat less dangerous. However, that didn't stop Helms & Fabulous pulling out everything towards the end of the match, and Helms was inches away from grabbing the titles as Benjmain & Fabulous battled on the outside, it was only with a push of the ladder that sent Helms to the outside of the ring, that gave him the opportune moment, to climb the ladder and capture the Tag Team Championship for himself and Benjamin. Afterwards, Haas celebrated by holding both Championships in his arms on the turnbuckle, until Benjamin entered and asked for his title, which Haas eventually gave him.

    CM Punk Vs Tank Abbott

A rather short match for being so high on the Nitro card. Abbott's erratic and in your face approach doesn't work on the cool and focused Punk. Punk took the early advantages in this match and capitalized on them. Using several good holds on Abbott, which he couldn't overpower, gave him even more leverage in the match. Ron Killings made his way down to the ring late in the match, which seemed to bother Punk. With this distraction, Abbott hit some severe blows on PUnk, which soon woke him up and put him back down to business. A quick reversal from a left hook, was enough time for Punk to lock in his Dragon Sleeper DDT, which took Abbott out for the pin. After the match, Killings entered the ring and at first it looked like he was there to congratulate Punk, but a quick kick to the gut and a scissor kick to the head sent a message to Punk from Killings.

Jericho comes out to a huge pop, whereas Corino comes out, accompanied by Snow & Flair, get massive heat. The outside presence of Snow & Flair doesn't bother Jericho as he gets down to business. Both men put on a great display even though this was a non title match and it was becoming apparant that Corino may get another loss to Jericho, as he edged into the driving seat of the match. Flair attempted a few diversionary tactics to distract Jericho, but he seemed to ignore the majority of them, until Flair took his title after he hit the Lionsault on Corino, Jericho then made his way outside and chased Flair, leaving Corino in the ring to recover. As he round around the ring to chase flare, a chair appeared from in the crowd and smashed into Jericho's head. A huge fan jumps over the barrier holding the chair, and that man is Sean O'Haire!! O'Haire then picked up the stunned Jericho and rolled him back into the ring to Corino, who was now back on his feet. The Old School Expulsion soon followed and the pin was gained on the WCW Champion. Snow, Flair & O'Haire then entered the arena as Corino picked up a worn out Jericho. Snow walked up to him, and said, no matter what Jericho has when it comes to power, he forgot one thing, not to mess with his boss, because if he does, this is what happens. Jericho was then thrown into the corner, as the trio walk off, seeming to have the last laugh on the WCW Champion.

    WCW Roster Vs WCW Owner?

Tonight, WCW Nitro returns to Primetime TV!! Don't forget to now tune on WEDNESDAYS on the Paramount Channel for live, and absolutely FREE!! Nitro TV!! This weeks Nitro certainly has some problems to sort out, on last weeks final Nitro PPV, it seems that Chris Jericho firmly has a grip on WCW, by having the majority of the WCW Roster behind him! The unbelievable display was shown in the final match of the night as the WCW Roster backed up Jericho & Booker T against interference from the Hardcore Horsemen. Will Snow have control of his own roster, or is Jericho now in the driving seat? Tune in to find out!!

This weeks Nitro will host the final of the Heavyweight Tag Team Championships, where Haas & Benjamin will face Shane Helms & Stevie Fabulous, although, from last weeks fall out between Haas & Benjamin, will they be back on the same page for their moment of glory? Afterall, it was Haas & Benjamin who wanted these titles to be re-activated and the tournament to be created, but now they've come so far to the final, it seems it could all be for nothing, due to Haas's recent "ego problems" lets hope the pair can focus again and put on one hell of a match against the high flying heroes of Helms & Fabulous!!

Not many matches have been booked so far for this weeks Nitro, due to their possibly being a "strike" by the wrestlers due to Snow's actions. How will the new WCW Owner deal with this rebellion at such an early stage in his career as a Promotional Owner. Lets hope the Hardcore legend sees some sense to his recent psychotic ways, or maybe it will be his psychotic plans that will help him to grasp a firm hold of what is rightfully his, WCW!

    Jericho IS WCW!!

Last week, another bombshell hit Nitro on Al Snow's first night on the job as the new owner of WCW. Just as Snow thought his problems were gone in the shape of former owner WCW Owner, Mr Smith. A new problem arose from the ashes of Smith's reign, in the shape of former WCW star, Chris Jericho!! Jericho entered the frey as masked Ukranian wrestler, "Kristopherson Kejerichovic" and left as WCW Champion, Chris Jericho. And the night started off in a similar style to way last weeks Nitro ended. Al Snow came out with the Horsemen, and demanded that Jericho came out to the stage now, which he did to his new music ("The Living Legend" by cKy, available on WCW The New Music, released on April 7th!), and Snow demanded that he return the WCW Championship to Corino and that he should leave the arean immediately after giving back the Title. Jericho however, decided to refuse, saying he's going nowhere. Snow, now becoming enraged screamed that Jericho does not belong in WCW, he belongs in Vince's falling empire called WWE, he belongs with the other who turned their backs on WCW so long ago, Benoit, Guerrero, Malenko. Jericho started to laugh and pulled a piece of paper out of his back pocket, he unfolds it and says this is his WCW Contract, signed by Mr Smith over a month ago, Smith wanted to keep Jericho a secret from everyone until after the Battle of WCW, as a surprise, however, due to Corino's interference, the Battle wasn't won, but instead, Smith used Jericho as his representation in WCW, so he can help win the war for WCW. The first battle was won by Snow, but the war will eventually be WCW's! Jericho leaves Snow with some words which will be the new trademark of Jericho, "I DON'T BELONG IN WCW, I AM WCW!!"

Jericho wasn't finished there for this Nitro, he later interfered in the Hardcore Horsemens plans to dominate the Tag Team Titles Competition, by taking out the already weakened Hatred, who amazingly made the match after his lethal fall in the Pure Hatred Cage Match against Booker T. Jericho's quick but brutal chair shot to Hatred, and being chased away by Heindenreich, was enough for Shane Helms to get the pin and a place in the final against Haas & Benjamin!! Although, after tonights happenings, Haas & Benjamin may not even be at the finals!! During, Haas's match for the US Championship against Siaki, Benjamin interfered and tried to help his partner, however, his interference made things go drastically wrong, and cost Haas and the chance of being US Champion! After the match, Haas got a mic and claimed that Benjamin was jealous because he got a shot and Benjamin didn't, he proclaimed he was the better of the 2 and always had been, ever since their formation almost 3 years ago in WWE. Benjamin seemed a little offended by this but was soon put in his place by an attack by Haas on him! Will Haas & Benjamin be on the same page for the final against Fabulous & Helms? Who knows!

The end of Nitro sent a shocking message to Al Snow. As he sent the Horsemen down to interfere in the Jericho & Bookers match against Corino & Killings, almost 25 WCW Superstars, ran down to the ring and proceeded to beat down on the Horsemen! Whilst this massive brawl was going on around the ring, the distraction was long enough for Booker T to hit the Book End and for Jericho to follow up with the Lionsault on Killings for the pair to capture the win. Afterwards, the brawl calmed down with the Horsemen all out cold and Killings & Corino leaving through the crowd. Snow made his way to the stage looking rather shocked as 27 WCW Superstars stood in the ring, and Jericho proclaimed once again, he IS WCW!!!

Is The Living Legend here to stay?

Last week, saw the aftermath of the Battle of WCW, just as Al Snow thought that chapter of WCW was closing, somebody else came along and carried it on. That man was Chris Jericho, and he entered WCW in shocking circumstances, applying as a masked Ukranian wrestlers known as "Kristopherson Kejerichovic", which sneakly spells Chris Jericho is deciphered, he went on to face Corino for the WCW Championship in Corino's Gauntlet, and was victorious. The victory shocked both the now former Champion, Corino, and the WCW Owner, Al Snow. Jericho mentioned that Smith's reign he wasn't over, and would carry on with Jericho, what does this mean for Snow, and also for Jericho? He's not under WCW Contract, however, he's the WCW Champion!!

Corino has demanded a rematch against the WCW Champion, however Snow has yet to decide on it, however Corino will be given some chance of revenge as he and Ron Killings will face Jericho & Booker T in this weeks Nitro main event. Will Killings be leaving with a Harlem Hangover, or will Jericho feel the wrath of another Old School Expulsion? Tune in this week to find out!!

This week is also the 2nd semi final of the WCW Tag Team Championship Tournament. Haas & Benjamin booked their place in the final last week, but who will they face in the final? The high flying pair of Stevie Fabulous & Shane Helms? Or unstoppable powerful force of Nate Hatred & John Heindenreich? The other question also remains, will Nate Hatred even be here tonight? Hatred received what can only be call one of the most brutal falls in wrestling history, which including him plummeting through a barbed wire table, and cage roof and the ring itself!! If Hatred doesn't show up, will Heindenreich take on the pair alone? Or will another member of the Horsemen take his place? Tune in to find out.

Mike Awesome & Shawn Stasiak are also making their in ring returns tonight after last months brutal attacks on them by The Hardcore Horsemen. Will the pair be returning to their former match skills? Or did those attacks to their heads finish them off for good? To find out more about this weeks action, theres only one thing to do, watch WCW Nitro!!

Well, he announced he wouldn't be, and that the new WCW era was short lived and is now over. The new era that begins tonight is the Hardcore Era, the Al Snow Era. This match was rather one sided. Scotty put up one hell of a fight but it was nothing compared to that of Kurrgan. Many wouldn't believe the transformation of him since his useless days in WWF as part of the Oddities, he's now become one of the best brawlers around and has became even more powerful. Scotty was still feeling the beating from last weeks match and it showed a lot in the match. Kurrgan was like and unstoppable force in this match, he showed how strong he was by giving Scotty a triple chokeslam, without letting go!! With that devasting attack on Scotty, he was easily pinned as the punishment of Team WCW had started on a positive note.

Haas & Benjamin Vs Made In England

An interesting match here were a far more experienced team meets a newly formed team. Made In England proved to Haas & Benjamin they even thought they've just formed, they're one hell of a team. The unbelievable team work of Jonny C & Alex Shane almost shocked the pair of Haas & Benjamin as they took a seriously early ass kicking from the 2 Brits. Eventually, the World's Greatest Tag Team finally gained their composure again and took the match back to Made In England. And it was eventually the tag team experience that got them a place in the final of the Tag Team Tournament, after Benjiman hit a killer spinning Fisherman Neck Buster, which Haas finished off with the No Haasle Leg Lock for the submission. In round 2 of the Team WCW Punishment night, Abbot has the advantage in this match which has almost all the UFC rules included in it. Daneils spent the majority of the time using his cat like reflexes to dodge the vicious on coming assaults from Tank's fists!! For the majority he did impressively well, and at several points he even ran up the cage wall and flipped over Abbott like he was in the Matrix!! Eventually, Daniels decided to stop running, and started to fight back, he attempted several holds on Abbott who managed to over power them all. Then, out of nowhere, Kejerichovic appeared from under the ring, as Abbott had Daniels in a vicious headlock, choking him out, through the cage wall, Kejerichovic blew some type of dust into Abbott's eyes which caused him temporary blindness. It gave Daniels enough time to act quickly and jump on Abbott's back, choking him, thus forcing him to submit! Daniels refused to let go, and choked Abbott till he was unconcious, Nate Hatred & Heindenreich made they're way to the ring, but Daniels & Kejerichovic where long gone into the ground.

    Pure Hatred Cage Match

    Booker T Vs Nate Hatred

The next match took about 20 minutes to set up this cage of destruction. It had a look of pure evil, something which the Hell In A Cell couldn't even acheive. When it was eventually set up, Booker T made his way to the ring looking rather focused, Hatred however looked extremely psyched for this match and almost looked psychotic as he stared at his monument of hatred. The majority of the match remained in the ring, as Booker T's stragety seemed to be to keep Hatred in the ring and away from any weapons, barbed wire, etc. His plan seemed to be working, until a Pure Hatred Bomb, kept him stunned long enough for Hatred to gain access to the roof. He waited for Booker T to regain some focus and invited him up, and shockingly, Booker T accepted!! He was greeted with a 2x4 over his head, which snapped on impact over his head, also knocking Booker T out! Hatred's psychotic mind then took over as he began to set up a barbed wire table on the roof of the cage!! The end looked near for Booker T, for both this match and his career if Hatred accomplished what he set out to do. Hatred picked up Booker and set him up for a huge Pure Hatred Bomb through the barbed wire table, and also through the barbed wire roof of the cage, but it seemed Booker T was bluffing, he wasn't unconcious, and whilst being held up by Hatred, he delivered a huge punch with brass knuckles to Hatreds head, causing him to drop Booker. Booker then hit Hatred with a hugh Book End through the barbed wire table!! The table and roof collapsed but Booker has luckily postioned himself to land on a more secure part of the roof, leaving Hatred to crash into the ring, which he also went through!! Booker eventually made his way back down to the motionless Hatred and got the pin in a surprise victory. It seemed Hatred's own mind has backfired on him!

    Kristopherson Kejerichovic Vs Steve Corino

Kejerichovic & Corino were already in the ring as the camera cut to the ring. It seems that Kejerichovic had hired about 12 guards to stand on the ramp way and not allow anyone to the ring, as Al Snow soon found out! The match was well underway as the WCW Owner tried to get past the guards, who refused to let him pass. He then left to get what was left of the Hardcore Horsemen, which was Heindenreich & Kurrgan, but still the guards kept them back. In the ring, the WCW Champion was having a hard time against the masked Ukranian wrestler, he seems to be an amazing all round wrestler with exceptional technical skills. Corino seemed extremely frustrated with the man and at one point attempted to annoy Kejerichovic by trying to remove his mask! Corino failed in his attempts to unmask him, and eventually gave up trying. Both men had the match almost won on several occassions, and Kejerichovic even kicked out of an Old School Expulsion! The end of the match eventually came in shocking circumstances, Kejerichovic grabbed the win after hitting a Flatliner and then the Lionsault on Corino to get the 3 count and shocked the world by winning the WCW Championship. At this point Al Snow was going insane, while Corino was almost crying. Kejerichovic grabbed the title and began celebrating, he then asked for a mic. He began talking in russian accent and asked the crowd "I bet you never thought you'd see me in WCW, never eeeeeeeeeeeever again!", the voice was no longer Russian, infact it was very, very familiar. Corino looked up in horror as Kejerichovic started to remove his mask, as he did, a long ponytail of blonde hair fell down, and his face was revealed to be, CHRIS JERICHO!! Jericho then went on to say, before Smith left, he signed Jericho and waited to bring him in at the opportune moment, which was tonight, "Sorry Al, but you think Smith was trouble, well I'm your worst nightmare!!" Snow then began walking up the ramp as the camera faded and Jericho was left celebrating as the newest WCW Champion!!

    WCW Welcomes It's New Owner....

This past Nitro aired one of the most brutal elimination matches ever, as WCW went head to head with Al Snow's brainchild, The Hardcore Horsemen. When the show started, the odds seemed to be against WCW, with only 3 members against 5, but with some work, 3 became 4, and then 4 became 5. WCW Superstar, Christopher Daniels joined the ranks, and then Smith unleashed for one night only, the monster known as Vader. The apperance of Vader seemed to make the Hardcore Horsemen consider they may not be victorious with this mammoth of a man standing up against them. Vader showed his dominance in the match, eliminating the majority of the Horsemen, and he almost went on to destroy John Heindenreich, as himself and Vader were the 2 remaining men in the match, but some shocking interference by Steve Corino, was enough for Heidenreich to deliver an impressively huge chokeslam on Vader, to get the pin and to seal Smith's fate as the now former WCW Owner.

This week's Nitro, marks the first night of new WCW Owner, Al Snows night in charge. How will this affect the Nitro show you ask? Well, just check out the matches he's already booked!! Tonight is the punishment of the WCW wrestlers who we're in Team WCW. Chistopher Daniels has to face Tank Abbott in a Submission Cage match!! Scotty 2 Hotty will go up against Kurrgan in a Hardcore Match, while next week on Nitro, Johnny Stamboli takes on John Heindenreich AND Kurrgan in a 2-on-1 strap match. The worst off member is that of Booker T, as he has been booked against Nate Hatred, in a Pure Hatred Cage Match!! The cage is that of a hell in a cell, however the cage walls are laced with barbed wire!! There is also a ladder in the corner which goes upto the the roof, which has weapons, chairs and tables on it!! This monument of destruction is Hatred owns creation, lets just hope both men survive!

A request has also been made by an unknown wrestler to face Steve Corino for the WCW Championship. The wrestler goes by the name "Kristopherson Kejerichovic" and is apparantly of Ukranian nationality. Corino has accepted the challenge from this unknown European Wrestler, but will the Ukranian be able to topple the WCW Champion from his throne? The other question being asked about Corino is, what was his motive for helping the Hardcore Horsemen?

Who will survive the Team WCW Punishment Matches? Why did Corino help The Hardcore Horsemen? Will the unknown European wrestler end Corino's Gauntlet? Who will advance to the WCW Tag Team Championship Finals? Why all these questions? To find out, tune in to this weeks Nitro, only on PPV!!

Suddenly Christopher Daniels music hits and he makes his way out to Team WCW, he apologises for being late, he says he's behind Mr Smith 100% and will join Team WCW!!

Snow gets on the mic and say thats all good and well, but it's 4 on 5, now would they hurry up and get their asses down here so they can kick em. Smith laughs and says he isn't finished, he says yes he has 4 men for Team WCW, but he also has a monster. A monster so demonic he's worse than the Hardcore Horsemen combined, he asks Snow are they ready for him, for one night only he will fight for his former company. A siren starts to blur and some heavy metal music kicks in as Mr. Smith introduces...... VADER!!! The 5 men run down to the ring and the battle begins!!!)

Al Snow's destructive brain child, The Hardcore Horsemen may finally be put to an end on the biggest Nitro in this WCW's history. Although, the numbers are stacked against Mr. Smith's Team WCW, so far he only has 3 members to fight the battle against Snow and his 4 behemoth warriors. It's 5 on 3 at the moment, but will Smith be able to find 2 last minute members to even out the numbers and give him a better chance of retaining this company he worked so hard to resurrect!!

Most of tonight's matches are overshadow by this match as every wrestlers career hangs in the balance. What if Snow and his Hardcore Horsemen are victorious? What then for WCW? The final chapter for Team WCW?

The final Nitro before next weeks "Battle for WCW", and Mr. Smith ended the night with only 3 members for Team WCW!! The show started on a positive not for the WCW Owner, as Johnny The Bull confirmed on the phone that he would be ready for the match next week, even after that brutal attack by the Horsemen on him a few weeks ago! That brought his tally upto 2, and later on in the night, Scotty 2 Hotty announced he will be part of WCW to thank Booker T for saving him last week from a servere beating. That brought his tally to 4, and from then on that night, things got a whole lot worse for Mr. Smith!! The Horsemen put another 3 men on there beating list tonight, Psychosis & Vampiro we're the first 2, after Hatred & Heindenreich gave them a beating they'll never forget after the pair tried to stand up to Al Snow last week on Nitro. The win against Vampiro & Psychosis also puts them into the semi final of the WCW Tag Team Championship Tournament against Shane Helms & Stevie Fabulous! Next on the Horsemen's hit list, was the first person to receive a second beating from the Horsemen. Kurrgan, Hatred & Heindenreich cut Bill DeMott's interview short, by coming down and Kurrgan and Heindenreich giving him a huge double chokeslam through the announce table! The final victim of the Horsemen, was in the shape of Booker T, after a tough battle against Sonny Siaki and gaining the victory, he was blindsided by Nate Hatred and a severe beating followed, and two deadly Pure Hatred bombs onto a steal chair left Booker T out cold in the ring.

Steve Corino's WCW Championship Gauntlet continued tonight and another 2 challengers stepped up to the plate and we're shot down again by the WCW Champion. Corino was first challegned by Shane Helms in the locker room, Corino was able to overcome the cruiserweight with help from Ric Flair. Corino met his second challenger in the main event of the night against WCW US Champion, Ken Shamrock. The pair fought bravely and Shamrock almost defeated the World Champion on several occassions. Eventually it was Corino who overcame the odds once again and retained his WCW Championship, bringing his Gauntlet tally upto 6-0. The gauntlet doesn't seem to be getting any easier for Corino, and knows it, thats why after his match against Shamrock, he announced the 24/7 rule was now finished. Matches will only take place when Corino agrees to it, however he will accept challenges from any wrestlers in America now, not just WCW!! It seems Corino's challenger list is about to get bigger!

    The recruitment continues....

This week, is the final Nitro before Team WCW & The Hardcore Horsemen will collide in the first epic battle of the new WCW's history. With just 7 days to go, will Mr. Smith get his team together in time? So far, he has only recruited one man in the form of the recently signed Booker T, but is anyone else brave enough to step upto this challenge and face the destructive force that is Al Snow's brain child? Tune in this week to see how the recruitment is going.

This week is also week 3 of Steve Corino's "WCW Championship Gauntlet". Will the Champ make it 3 weeks in a row? or will somebody finally defeat him? Siaki was almost victorious last week. Will anyone get that bit closer and capture the gold? Corino has been given the night off but will be in the arena, and with the 24/7 rule in full effect, I'm sure theres someone in the WCW ranks who'll want a shot at Corino. The only way to find out if we get a new champion is to tune in to this weeks Nitro!!

All the WCW Superstars will be in the house, including Bill DeMott, who was recently released from hospital after being the first victim of The Horsemens unstoppable destruction. He won't be wrestling, but he will be sitting down with Al Getzer for an interview about the attack and what he's gonna do now that he's back!! Also tonight is the last quarter final of the WCW Tag Championship Tournament, Psychosis & Vampiro made a somewhat suicidal request to face 2 members of the Hardcore Horsemen for the final semi final spot, and now they'll face Nate Hatred & John Heindereich!! Will they be victorious? or will they be just another 2 names on the Horsemen's injury list? Tune in to find out!!

The Briscoe Brothers Vs Ace Steel & Sean Casey

The Briscoe Bros compete in their first Cruiser Tag Title defence tonight against the pair of Ace Steel & Sean Casey. With Casey & Steel being a new tag team, a lot of miscommunication seems to be happening between the pair as The Briscoe Brothers start to take a large advantage over them. The fluid technical skills of the brothers is clearly shown as they effortlessly tag each other. Steel is the only one of the challengers who seemed to put up a challenge against the Briscoe Brothers but he was soon overpowered and was the receiver of the Briscoe Overload for the defeat. Steel seemed less than impressed with Casey's involvement in the match, which almost ended up with the pair in a brawl.

    WCW Tag Team Championship Tournament

Shane Helms & Stevie Fabulous Vs Shawn Stasiak & Perry Saturn

The 3rd quater final for the Tag Championship Tourny was about to start as Perry Saturn made his return to the WCW ring. Saturn took to the ring first and threw Helms around the ring like a rag doll, Saturn's phsyique and power seemed to have gone undeminished with his ageing and it showed as he started doing gorilla press ups with Helms. However, Helms soon fought back with a poke to the eyes which stunned Saturn to give the advantage. Helms & Fabulous's high flying styles blened incredibly well for this match and they took the lead over their much larger opponents. Stasiak soon got in the ring but his violent and psychotic behaviour only got him into more trouble with the speedy Fabulous. Fabulous caugh Stasiak off guard and delivered him with a killer Buzzsaw Volley to the head, which took out Stasiak for the easy 3 count. During their celebration though, Helms was caught by Saturn and was given a vicious Spinning Fisherman's Neckbreaker to leave him down and hurt.

    Al Snow Vs ? & ?

Al Snow entered the ring still waiting to his who his opponents would be, it turned out to be 2 old WCW faces, Psychosis & Vampiro!! Snow was overwhelmed by the pair from the start and struggled throughout the match. He did create several small pockets of attacks but they were soon ended by the great work of Vampiro & Psychosis. The new look Vampiro spent the majority of the time in the ring, toying with Snow, eventually busting Snow open badly. He ended his playing around though after giving Snow the Nail in the Coffin. The pair continued to beat down on Snow until they threw him out of the ring. Vampiro then got on the mic saying he was scared of nobody, especially the Hardcore Horsemen, and to prove that, he and Psychosis wanted to face 2 of the Horsemen in the Tag Championship Tourny next week for a place in the semi finals!!

Scotty 2 Hotty Vs Charlie Haas

A great match between these two which the fans didn't really seem to get into, the pair seem to work a lot better in tag action for a crowd reaction. Scotty's flambouyant style gave him the upper hand against Haas, but the arrival of Benjamin seemed to distract Scotty. It was eventually the involvement of Benjamin that gave Haas the advantage and the win. A throat drop onto the ropes by Benjamin gives Haas the time to set Scotty up for the No Haasle Bomb for the 3 count. As the pair started to beat down on Scotty the masked man made another apperance by running down and clearing the ring of Haas & Benjamin!! Christopher Daniels Vs Ron Killings Vs American Dragon

A superb match featuring 3 great competitors made this one of the matches of the night. Daniels took a beating in the early phases of this match as Killings & Dragon double teamed him. Soon after Daniels was down the pair turned on each other and it was Dragon who took the overall advantage. Dragon's high speed attacks where that much more faster than Killings defence and he was taking a severe beating until a dropkick to the back of the head from Daniels took Dragon down. Daniels tried to get the win over a stunned Dragon and weakened Killings by hitting the Angel Wings on Dragon, but an elbow drop from Killings stopped the 3 count. The remained of the match seemed to revolve around Killings and Daniels as that Angel Wings has taken Dragon out. It was Killings who ended up grabbing the win, a quick roll up with his feet on the ropes and a handful of tights made sure he got the unfair victory, afterwards he was chased off by a very angry Christoper Daniels.

    WCW Championship

Steve Corino Vs Sonny Siaki Vs Frankie Kazarian Vs James Storm

At first it seemed to be a 3on1 attack on the WCW Champion, but with everyone attempting to pin Corino for the title, the trio was getting nowhere! Eventually Corino got himself out of the ring to regain his focus as the 3 opponents stood in the ring. Kazarian then attacked Storm from behind and started to work on him as Siaki waited for Corino to re-enter the ring. Eventually he did and brawl started between the pair. Kazarian had the clear advantage over his former TNA friend and got several close 3 counts which would have captured him the World Title without even pinning the Champ!! Kazarian and Storms brawl eventually spilled out onto the rampway as Siaki and Corino continued to battle it out in the ring. Siaki seemed much more focused this time and was looking like he was going to win the match!! Corino amazingly retained his title with his feet on the ropes to win yet another WCW Championship gauntlet match!! Siaki soon got up and attacked Corino. Siaki set Corino up for The Ego Trip when suddenly The Masked Man returned with a chair to Siaki's head!! Siaki hit the mat as the Masked Mans attack started on the WCW Champion. Then, the Masked Man hit Corino with, The Rock Bottom!! He picked up the title, looked at it, then began to leave with the title!

(As the masked man got to the top of the stage with the WCW Championship. He starts to celebrate with it when Smith's music hits. Smith says that this masked man will soon get his shot at the WCW Championship, but not until he has helped him defeat the Hardcore Horsemen in 2 weeks. Smith welcomes the first member of Team WCW as BOOKER T!! The man rips of his mask to reveal himself as Booker T and he gets on the mic, "Are you ready Corino? Are you ready for the 5 TIME!! or should I say, soon to be 6 TIME WCW CHAMPION!! CAN YOU DIG IT? SUCKAAAAA!" Smith's music hits as Booker T throws the title to the floor and they leave.)

Mr Bollea was kind enough to reveal a list of steals that WCW have made in the last few weeks!!! (Note: this sources isn't 100%)

    Who's in the WCW Doghouse?

Word has it, that 3 WCW star's are in the WCW Doghouse over lateness, unprofessional behaviour and for a certain late night drinking session!! Shawn Stasiaks recent late apperances for WCW arranged events had reportedly put him on the bad books for WCW Road Agents and the business side of staff. His rumoured late night drinking session with John Heindereich & Chris Kanyon whilst in Ohio aftet last week's Nitro, is said to have disturbed both staff and customers at the hotel after a play wrestling match spilt out onto the corridor at which point staff thought the men we're actually fighting. The trio then apologised and we're asked to leave the hotel, which they apparantly did. We are still waiting for confirmation on this rumour.

Corino's run to end next week?

Many believe that Corino's Gauntlet run will be ended next week by an unknown contender, many believe that the rumour Hulk Hogan returning is that of the identity of the man who will end Corino's run. Do you think Hogan is the man who will end Corino's run? Gives us your thoughts on who should end Corino's run, whenever that may come, and the contender need not be a WCW employee, as if the WCW Stealing Roster is true, it could be anybody!!

  22. Gauntlet's, rampages & signings?

Well, as we move into our 2nd month of 2006, Nitro is slowly but steadily building a following. Fans seemed to be getting a lot more interested in the new stortylines and I think the dual-main storylines are a good idea. A fan shouldn't have to watch one main storyline after another, I believe a fan should be able to choose what they like. In a soap opera you don't have 1 main storyline running through the entire show, there are several storylines mixed into one show. Thats what I'm trying to do with the new Nitro. Fans seem to be loving either the The Hardcore Horsemens's Rampage and Corino's WCW Championship Gauntlet ith equal interest. Soon these 2 storylines are gonna collide and it's gonna make for one hell of a show!!

The last 2 week have been mainly overwhelmed by contract negotiations with some former and some new WCW Stars. Several major wrestlers in the business have shown interest in the company and I've approached them with more than reasonable offers which they definately seem to be willing to accept. So several of WCW Prodigal Son's may be coming home in the coming months, which should put on for some great matches and some great TV!! Also don't count out the new boys that'll be revealed soon, they too will be creating some devastating shockwaves in the WCW Roster.

Nitro is on the up and won't be stopping for a while, things are looking great for WCW, and all we can do is look up to the top spots. RoH have recently tried to take us on, but they got crushed and left in the dust, our next realistic targets are that of the newly global companies of WLW & BCW, I think we have what it takes to take them on and to do to them what we did to RoH. So, lookout WLW & BCW, WCW is coming, and we aren'y stopping for nobody.

    Rampages, recruitments & rematches....

Tonight, is the first night of WCW Owner, Mr. Smith's recruitment for Team WCW. The team that will face The Hardcore Horsemen in 2 weeks time! The word in the back is that most of the wrestlers are rather reluctant to sign up for the team as they feel they'll be overpowered in a 5 on 5 match up. This doesn't sound good for Mr. Smith who needs the support of his roster to take on this faction of monsters.

Last week on Nitro, the first night of the "WCW Championship Gauntlet" started, and Steve Corino has his work cut out for him after being attacked by Kaz Hayashi and then later on by Mark Jindrak. Corino defeated both men and was then challenged by Sonny Siaki for his WCW Championship after Siaki had just captured the US Championship. Luckily, Corino survived this ordeal and left that night still as the WCW Champion, the question is, can he survived another week? Debuting wrestler James Storm has already demanded a match against him, and Siaki has also demanded a rematch. Kazarian has also asked for a match and Smith has booked a 4 Corners match to make everyone (except Corino) happy. So it'll be Frankie Kazarian Vs James Storm Vs Sonny Siaki Vs Steve Corino for the WCW Championship. The hardest part for Corino is too survive the start of the night before this match, otherwise he may be leaving as the former WCW Champion.

The Hardcore Horsemen have been banned from the arena for tonight's Nitro, which might bring an order to thing for a short while. Although, Al Snow has been put in a match tonight against 2 unknown opponents, and if any of the Horsemen attempt to enter the arena, they'll be fired!! Dutt was once again put his undefeated streak on the line tonight against the debuting 'Superstar' Steve Seagal. Snow stands toe to toe with Smith and neither man seems to back down. Smith says he can be reasonable guy but Snow and his team have gone too far. He said he was gonna lt the first 2 attacks slide, but now, he's making it personal with him, because it's his company that they're screwing up. So, what is it they want?

Snow laughs and says, theres only ever been one thing he wants.... chaos & anarchy. And at the moment, he's well on his way to getting it. The remark seems to anger Smith. He says, that if he can't reason with the group, he'll have to destroy them!! He announces that in 3 weeks time The Hardcore Horsemen will take on 5 men of Smith's choosing in the only match that can suit this battle.... WAR GAMES!! The second quarter final of the Tag Team Championship took place in this match as one tag team was making there debut as a team, whereas one team was reforming for this competition. Made In England worked very well as a new team, as did Second City Saints, who we're the stronger team throughout the match. Although, there also seemed to be some frustration between Ace Steel & Colt Cabana which gave Made In England a chance to take an advantage. And it was with the advantage that Made In England got the lucky 3 count and advanced to face Haas & Benjamin in the next round after Shane hit the Hammerlock Slam on a distracted Cabana for the win.

Windsor seemed a little out of his league in this match, but the Brit put up one hell of a fight against the much larger and more powerful Stasiak. Windsor used several very clever reversals to give himself a chance in the match, but it ended up giving him a loss as Stasiak realised he would reversed it, and Windsor reversed himself into the G-Force Bomb. As Stasiak got the pin, he was blindsided with a chair by Tank Abbot who appeared from the crowd with the rest of The Hardcore Horsemen. The usually attack took place as Snow announced on the mic, he was thinning Smith's choices for the team that will cost him his company. And 2 double chair headshots were delivered to the skulls of Windsor & Stasiak. Security ran to ring as The Horsemen left via the crowd.

Scotty 2 Hotty & Frankie Kazarian Vs Haas & Benjamin

This match was asked for by Haas & Benjamin after last weeks ass kicking which was all part of Smith's payback plan. Haas & Benjamin we're easily matched for skill in this by Scotty's experience & Frankie's years of time in TNA Asylum. At one point, Haas & Benjamin looked like new boys in the ring as Scotty showed his much more experienced, serious side compared to his old partying gimmick. Haas & Benjamin eventually got back into the match but they had to push themselves hard. Whilst the match was going on, Corino and Jindrak spilled out onto the stage it what appeared to be another challenger in the Championship Gauntlet. Corino eventually got the pin and ran off with Flair back into the backstage area as the match in the ring carried on. It was Frankie Kazarian who eventually got the win for himself and Scotty after Smith appeared from no where and gave Benjamin a throat drop onto the top rope, which set Kazarian up for a roll up. Afterwards Haas & Benjamin seemed very angry in the ring.

Nate Hatred & Tank Abbott Vs Masada, Shane Helms & Stevie Fabulous

You would have thought Hatred & Abbott we're out numbered in this match, but there size and power almost evened the match up for them. Hatred opened the match with just pure power throwing his opponents around the ring and hitting them with several low impact power moves. It was only by teaming up that the other teams got an advantage over Hatred & Abbott. Although it wasn't long till the rest of the Horsemen made an apperance at ring side, which seemed to worry Masada & Co. It was Hatred who got the win for himself and Abbott after Helms went for a jumping Hurricanrana which was reversed into a huge Hatred Powerbomb. The rest of the The Horsemen climbed into the ring, cornering the 3 men, until Smith's music hit and he walked out with over 20 WCW Wrestlers!!! He warned Snow, if his men touch them, let alone they won't make it to the War Games, they won't make it to tomorrow!! Snow's men surprisingly back off and left via the crowd.

Winners: Nate Hatred & Tank Abbott

    WCW United States Championship

    Ken Shamrock Vs Sonny Siaki

Sonny came out before the match and promised tonight he would be leaving as United States Champion, by whatever means necessary, as he is the Greatest Wrestler in WCW's History. Shamrock soon came out to prove Siaki wrong, however, it seemed to be Siaki who gave Shamrock a lesson in submission holds. His extensive training at TNA Asylum has made him one of the most skilled wrestlers around and it certainly showed against the technical technician that is Shamrock. Siaki had a counter for almost every hold that Shamrock had on him. Shamrock got a very long lasting Ankle Lock on Siaki which seemed to take a lot out of him and had him limping for the rest of the match, but amazingly Siaki pulled off a drop toe hold into modified Indian Deathlock to get the win and the United States Championship!! Siaki got up, got his title, then got a mic and challenged Corino to a match now for his WCW Championship!! He said he wanted to leave not only as US Champion, but as WCW Champion too!!

Winner and new United States Champion: Sonny Siaki

    WCW Championship

    Steve Corino Vs Sonny Siaki

Corino made his way out to the ring straight after Siaki challenged him following him winning the US Title. Neither man had the real advantage as Corino has had 2 fights tonight already, and Siaki has just wrestled one man, and has an injured lef. The match opened in quite a bad way as both men managed to hit each other with each other's title belts, knocking them both to the ground!!

Winner and retaining Champion: Steve Corino

    The rampage continues....

The rampage reached new heights last week as The Hardcore Horsemen demolished 3 more wrestlers, taking their count up to 5 injured wrestlers now. The say it is it too prove they are serious, but how far must they they go to prove it to the world? Mr. Smith has demanded that they meet him tonight on Nitro it what can only be described as a suicide encounter for the WCW Owner!! Also at the end of last weeks Nitro, The Horsemen stared down CM Punk, is he next on their hit list? If so, what will he do about it? Run or stand his ground and get the same treatment as Mike Awesome, Orange Crush, Jushin Liger, Bill DeMott and Johnny The Bull?? Tune in to see what happens!!

Also on this weeks Nitro, the "WCW Championship Gauntlet" begins and many of the WCW stars are said to be eager to jump at the chance of challenging Corino for the WCW Champion! This could be the ultimate opportunity for many of the wrestler who yearn for the Superstar image, the question is though, who will be the first person to challenge Corino when Nitro starts??

The second match of the WCW Tag Team Championship Tournament is also in this weeks Nitro which puts the new team of Alex Shane & Jonny C, now called 'Made In England' against the reformed Second City Saints of Colt Cabana & Ace Steel , who will be victorious and move onto the semi's and face Haas & Benjamin? Tune in to find out.
