  1. DLC for 9/23

    Rush's Moving Pictures Full Album

    Tom Sawyer (orig version)

    Red Barchetta

    YYZ

    Limelight (orig version)

    The Camera Eye

    Witch Hunt

    Vital Signs

The full album will be available for $10.99 (880 Microsoft Points) or $1.99 (160 Microsoft Points) per track individually.

We are also releasing a bunch of individual tracks:

    Bad Religion - Sorrow

The Cult - She Sells Sanctuary

    Hot Hot Heat - Bandages

    Kasabian - Shoot the Runner

    Sleater-Kinney - You're No Rock N Roll Fun

    Stone Roses - Love Spreads

Each of these tracks will be available individually for $1.99 (160 Microsoft Points).

    All tracks are master tracks.

Hm, now what to get with my free track I got from Stride...

  2. Ragbag and Zero, you guys want to play anytime tonight for a bit? I just finished the endless setlist, and although my fingers are sore a bit, I could play a few more games with you guys if you are up to it. Just have ragbag invite us all in if that's what we decide to do.

You should've went for the bladder of steel achievement! >_>

But I'm probably going to get off after I get done with this setlist on BWT as I've gotta finish up some homework and shit.

I may, on bass or vocals sometime, does it have to be on Expert? And yeah, we can play tomorrow or this weekend sometime.

I actually think the difficulty doesn't matter as long as you just don't pause or fail out.

  4. Ragbag, do you want to go ahead and set up the band profile since you will probably be more compatible in terms of times and whatnot for people who want to play? Not sure what to call the band, if you want we can just call the band EWB right now until we figure out something later.

Got it done. Though no logo yet or anything and it's just called EWB as you said.

  5. I love this game. The fact that everything just seems so much better is awesome. I've only really gone through challenges so far and I really like the fact that they've incorporated the DLC in with the challenges very well. I will say though, that the song "Visions" is ridiculous.

  6. DLC for 9/16

    Wake Up Dead

    The Conjuring

    Devil’s Island

    Good Mourning / Black Friday

    Bad Omen

    I Ain’t Superstitious

    My Last Words

Peace Sells…But Who’s Buying? will be available for $10.99 (880 Microsoft Points) for the album, or $1.99 (160 Microsoft Points) per track.

In addition we will also be putting out a Rock Band Tour 4-pack from bands on our Rock Band Tour kicking off in October.

“One of Those Nights” by the Cab

    “Hands Down” by Dashboard Confessional-

“She’s a Handsome Woman” by Panic! At the Disco

“Natural Disaster” by Plain White T’s

All tracks in the Rock Band Tour Pack are $.99 (80 Microsoft Points) or $3.99 (320 Microsoft Points) for a limited time (October 14 on Xbox and October 16 on PS3) when they return to $1.99 (160 Microsoft Points) per track or $6.99 (560 Microsoft Points) for the full pack.

All tracks are original masters on both packs.

DLC comes out on Xbox 360 on Tuesday, September 16th and on PS3 on Thursday, September 18th.

  7. I'm going at midnight to get it Sunday, then probably playing all night to try and beat it on guitar.

And to -A-, Thrasher I think is the hardest on guitar, with probably Constant Motion, Sleepwalker, or Ride the Lightning/Blackened being behind it on difficulty.

  8. DLC for 9/9

ALL THAT REMAINS 3 PACK - $2.99 (240 Microsoft Points)

    THIS CALLING - $.99 (80 Microsoft Points)

    CHIRON $.99 (80 Microsoft Points)

TWO WEEKS $.99 (80 Microsoft Points)

Haven't heard the last two as they're off the new album, but This Calling is good in my book for the last DLC I'll play on RB1 before RB2 comes out next Sunday.

  9. New update available for the 360, PS3 forthcoming.

    Hey all,

So there is a 360 title update coming out for Rock Band today, PS3 will follow and we'll let you know when we have an idea when it will drop. What's in it? A couple of things.

First of all - it updates RB1 so you will still be able to purchase DLC from the Rock Band store. Downloading this patch is required if you'd still like to do that.

Second - Lowers the threshold on gold stars making it easier/possible to gold star songs. This won't affect leaderboards as it only affects the threshold, not the score.

Third - Lately a few songs have had unhittable notes. This should be fixed now.

Lastly - It will allow you to export your songs from the RB1 disc to the hard drive for play in Rock Band 2. Official language follows for this feature-

Nominal fee of $4.99 (400 Microsoft points) required for export of Rock Band 1 soundtrack to compensate music licensors for expanded use.The following Rock Band disc tracks will not be available for export into Rock Band 2: * "Paranoid" as made famous by Black Sabbath, * “Run to the Hills” as made famous by Iron Maiden, and "Enter Sandman" by Metallica. In addition, the title update will also be released simultaneously in Europe. Tokio Hotel’s “Through the Monsoon” from the European disc release of Rock Band will not be available for export into the future European release of Rock Band 2. (* Indicates a cover song, all other songs are original master recordings.) Expanded usage rights for these particular tracks were unable to be secured from the music licensors for this feature.

  10. DLC for 9/2 (or whenever if there's technical difficulties)

    PAX 3-PACK

The Darkest of the Hillside Thickets - "Shhh..."

    Jonathan Coulton - "Skullcrusher Mountain"

MC Frontalot - "Livin' at the Corner of Dude and Catastrophe"

$2.99/240 msp for pack $.99/80 msp

    OFFSPRING 3-PACK

    "Pretty Fly"

    "Gone Away"

    "Self Esteem"

    Price unknown at the moment.

EDIT: So, according to HMX, no offspring pack this week, as this is an error on Microsoft's part after placing an ad featuring the PAX pack, the Locksley pack, and the Offspring pack. Official announcement tomorrow, so we'll see if anything else comes out with the PAX pack.

  11. They're apparently the mtv flavor of the month/week band. Not bad, but generic pop rock. It's out now on for PS3 users, but still nothing is up for the 360.

And pricing is .99/80 msp or 2.99/240 msp for the pack.

  12. Regarding the delay in this week's DLC.

Unfortunately, due to unforeseen technical difficulties, we won't be able to release Rush's "Moving Pictures" this week. We'll be working on it as hard as we can, but it looks like it could be a couple of weeks to fix. In the meantime we will be moving around our schedule so we still have DLC coming out each week (including this week, info to follow in another announcement).

Sucks as I was looking forward to playing YYZ again, but hopefully the filler is good for this week.

  13. I should be platinum since I did use expert guitar, but using hard vocals bumps me down, lame. But fuck expert voxtar, I'd still probably be trying if I did that.

  14. DLC

    Devo - "Girl U Want" (new original recording) - 160 MSP - $1.99

Devo - "Through Being Cool" (new original recording) - 160 MSP - $1.99

    Duran Duran - "Girls on Film" - 160 MSP - $1.99

    Duran Duran - "Rio" - 160 MSP - $1.99

    The Janitors - "Get Your Rock On" - 80 MSP - $0.99

  15. Fuck, fuck, fuck, fuck, constant motion's solo is hard. Hell, this week's pack is not a cake walk. CM is the only one left to beat out of that, but it's not going to be easy considering it took me awhile just to beat sleepwalker with it's crazy pull off sections.

  16. 1990-Hard to Kill (Fuck yeah Steven Seagal!)

    1991-Terminator 2

1992-Hard Boiled (reservoir dogs is a very close 2nd)

    1993-Tombstone

    1994-Clerks

    1995-Tommy Boy

    1996-Happy Gilmore

    1997-Men In Black

    1998-American History X

    1999-Fight Club

    2000-Gladiator

    2001-Blow

    2002-Spider Man

    2003-Phone Booth

    2004-Spider Man 2

    2005-Walk The Line

    2006-The Departed

    2007-No Country For Old Men

    2008-The Dark Knight
