  1. Even though that achievement will probably be on expert, I wonder if you'll be able to skirt around it since it technically doesn't specify which difficulty you have to be on to get 100% on a solo. Though I'm thinking that there is a solo in the game that's piss easy and it's just like the orange fret repeated, but I can't remember what song it is.

  2. DLC

    Killswitch Engage – My Curse - 80 MSP - $0.99

    Machine Head – Aesthetics Of Hate - 80 MSP - $0.99

    Megadeth – Sleepwalker - 80 MSP - $0.99

    Pack is 480 msp ($5.99)

  3. Here's pretty much all I saw. In order if I can remember right.

Cobra Starship-Fun way to start off the day. Was bummed we left right before they played 'Guilty Pleasure'

    Norma Jean-Sucked. Flat out.

All That Remains-We're ok. Though their lead singer may have had one of the more douchbaggy quotes of the day, "We smoke weed, drink whiskey, and will fuck your girlfriend and not care about it."

From First To Last-Very dissapointed by this. They just really didn't sound good live.

Say Anything-Fun, fun. Got up in front and nearly got squashed to death but was worth it.

Shwayze-More or less a time to relax but they were playing in the ampitheatre at the time. Not bad.

Forever The Sickest Kids-Fun Set. Only got to play 5 songs and were really unadvertised (timewise).

Protest The Hero-Awesome. Rocked harder than anything else I saw.

Every Time I Die-Saw the end of their set. Meh, okay.

Lodo (sp?), Every Avenue (?), and Horrorpops-All under another resting period. the first band wasn't bad, the 2nd I could've cared less about. Horrorpops weren't bad though when they first brought out that huge bass, I didn't know what the fuck was happening.

Reel Big Fish-Funnest set of the day. Enter Sandman and I Kissed A Girl covers mixed in with one song. They're other songs were good too, plus was easy to get up front as not many people were there.

The Devil Wears Prada-ugh. Dissapointing in every sense of the word. They cut off the Still Fly cover half way through and then every douchebag there had to make a pit in random areas. Not much fun.

Fun time though, besides getting sun burnt to hell. Needed Paramore to really make it an amazing day >_>

  4. This week's DLC.

Scars on Broadway - They Say $1.99 (160 MS points)

Staind - This is It $1.99 (160 MS Points)

Testament - Electric Crown $1.99 (160 MS Points)

The New No 2 - Yomp 99¢ (80 MS Points)

    All tracks are masters.

  5. I'll be attending the one July 31st at Verizon Wireless Music Center in Noblesville, Indiana. It's right above Indianapolis, anyone else happen to be going to that one?

I might be attending that one, but i'm not sure as we haven't got tickets yet or anything. Not much I'm really looking forward too other than Say Anything, Forever the Sickest Kids, and Devil Wears Prada.

  6. Drums on hard are a lot of fun once you start getting the hang of it. I'm even managing to nail the kick pedal. But fuck Reptilia, I can't believe I scraped that. I also can't believe that Dani California and Orange Crush have become two of my favourites to play, lots of fun, those.

Can someone explain how tug of war is supposed to work when I seem to get a third of the notes the other person does?

It's supposed to work in that the chart is split up for the two people to play, but sometimes one person gets fucked over by getting less charts than the other. It's essentially like face off on guitar hero, which like that, doesn't really work right at all times.

Also, officially confirmed rockband 2 tracks from gamespot and game informer magazine.

    Ace of Spades by Motorhead

    Almost Easy by Avenged Sevenfold

Anyway You Want It by Journey

    Bad Reputation by Joan Jett

White Wedding Pt. 1 by Billy Idol

  7. Fuck me, Snow is ridiculously hard on guitar. Definitely the hardest riff I've seen on Rock Band and another one that's harder on Rock Band than IRL.

Well, duh, it's going to be harder on rock band because 5 frets are less than 15+ you get on an actual guitar. And besides, it'd be about as hard on actual guitar anyways as the chart is modeled pretty much after the actual tab if you were to look it up.

  9. Is it just me or does the hub you get with the instruments not work? I mean, I have everything connected up but in order to turn the 360 on, I have to use the control pad, which means it's player one and the player signed into my profile. It's a hassle switching in and out of XBL, turning pads on and off just so I can use the guitar or drums, surely theres a way around this?

The only way I can get the guitar as player one is plugging it directly into the xbox, which kind of renders the whole thing moot, no?

Did you just plug in the usb hub and not the power adapter cord as well that is used to power the hub?

  10. So The Gaslight Anthem's newest single "The '59 Sound" is available for pre order. It also feature another song from the new album, "Even Cowgirls Get The Blues". Hopefully this gets put up on Itunes or leaked soon since I don't have anything that would play a 7".

  11. Finally got the flawless drumming achievement today on Countdown to Insanity. At least that song is fun to play and not boring like Say It Ain't So or I Think I'm Paranoid. Now to see if I can somehow get the AN-I-MAL achievement.

  12. I'm definatley with zero here. $180 for rock band was almost enough as it is and having now gh4 push out drums with just one extra pad essentially for what will probably be the same price or more is insane. Unless the rock band equipment for some inane reason doesn't work, then this will essentially be guitar hero 4 for me, not rock band hero.

  13. Darn fitzy and his expert drumming. I'm stuck on the 2nd tier which makes me feel very inadequite. Though finally beating expert guitar the other day was a fantastic triumph. Now all I've really gotta do is go through and get all the band world tour achievements and the drumming ones and I'll 1000 point it, but I doubt that.

Have you got the flawless drumming achievement yet fitzy?

Do you have any tricks or advice for beating Green Grass? I can get to around 80% with no problems, and then I just go to death on that really hard green red yellow red yellow green etc. pattern that's really fast.

Honestly, practice, practice, practice. It took me like 3-4 months just to beat that one song and i somehow got lucky enough to get through that. What I do is keep a full bar of overdrive right up to that part and then try and get through it without it or deploy it when i need to. There's a little section that you can get another thing of overdrive if you whammy enough, but I didn't because that would just throw me off. And if you can just try to practice the G-R-Y-R-G trill and you'll get better at it. After you beat both GRYRG and the RYBYR trills there's alot of opportunities to get overdrive to save you for the ending parts (either the OBYR slides which i found easy and the OBY slides which I had to use overdrive on).

Oh and Zero finally coming out is fantastic. Though aren't The Mother Hips a bonus and/or harmonix band? Should've included Misery Business >_>

  15. Might as well add this to the top five scores.
