  1. Anyone able to find out when the release date for the downloadable content/wrestlers will be available in the United States? Over seas they can download Evan Bourne, Ted DiBiase, Super Crazy, and Charlie Haas, and I want to be able to download them ASAP!! :)

We can!? I know we WILL ne able to but I didn't think they were out yet.

I'm fiddling round with the sliders so the CPU doesn't reverse EVERYTHING, but after some bad first impressions, this has grown on me a great deal.

Well, I was watching a video on YouTube that says he is from overseas somewhere and already has them downloaded. I will have to go look it up on YouTube again, but those 4 were in it.

  2. See, I saw it, and was utterly disappointed. First, my girlfriend forced me to see this instead of seeing Eagle Eye, which was upsetting. I thought it was predictable and tried to hard to be a indie movie.

Having seen Eagle Eye, you're honestly missing fuckall, unless you like movies that make you feel like you wasted two hours on a movie that was more or less mediocre. I mean, it's not horrible, but I'd hardly get upset about it.

Well, it's good to know, then, that either way it would have been a waste of money ;)

However, I just like seeing movies starring Shia LeBeouf so I can say his name...honestly, it's the most fun name EVER to say.

Uhh, back to Nick and Norah, now that I really stop and think about it, I do remember that I was thoroughly entertained by Lethario, and I really don't know why...

  3. See, I saw it, and was utterly disappointed. First, my girlfriend forced me to see this instead of seeing Eagle Eye, which was upsetting. I thought it was predictable and tried to hard to be a indie movie.

Of course, my view may have been skewed, because sitting beside me I had a couple of 15 year old girls who obviously were "Tris" but thought they were so much like "Norah", it was disgusting. That, and they kept whipping out their cell phones to text people and getting up and running out of the theater to get more food.

Yeah, not an enjoyable night at the movies.

  4. I was going to go see them in Penn State, but there are no floor general admissions left, just seats. I could still go, as really like three of the bands (and Seether has some good stuff), but I sat in seats for a concert in Penn State before, and it wasn't near as fun as it should have been. Saw Godsmack again in Penn State a year or two ago, and WAYYY better in the pit than up in seats.

  5. I need help. All the Power Ranger talk on the board has reminded me how much I loved this show! Anyone live in Germany and can buy the first three seasons and send them to me? Obviously, I'll pay. Get them on eBay is 80 bucks each (with shipping). I figure I can get them cheaper this way.

Also, we can talk about the awesomeness of Adam. First Ranger to do his own stunts while in costume, GO GO POWER RANGERS!

  6. I have watched every episode, I love it. I noticed the last few episodes haven't had near as much comedy as the first two episodes did. I am more upset they only have 8 or 9 episodes, but that's okay. Next week's episode looks intriguing, if I do say so myself.

  7. The episode was good, but the escape plan was kind of iffy. It means Michael had his heart set on those 3 going first and getting caught, but what if those three decided to go last and Michael wasnt able to convince them? Then like thug said it was really all pure luck with rolling under the trucks and all.

Did keep me on the edge of my seat, though, especially when the boat came up as I actually thought it was going to end up being the coast guard.

  8. It was a good episode and I'm really hoping for a great ending because with the strike coming to an end and the networks being somewhat pissy. It's somewhat likely, it won't come back so put all them cards on the table and deal. PLEASE! NO CLIFFHANGER! That's asking a lot for this show... but if it's gonna end, end it the right way.

That trailer showed quite a bit. :)

  9. You can not say that was a bad episode. That had to be the best of the season. Kept you on the edge of your seat throughout the whole thing. I can't believe the season is over after next week though. So many things have me in shock and I just can't wait.

What will happen with McGrady as they approach the cops?

Is T-Bag really going to take over while Sucre takes the blame for everything?

    How can they catch Whistler?

What is in store for Mahone?

Will LJ finally reunite with his father?

So many questions and too many days to wait. God I love this show and just hope FOX renews it.

  10. It was really interesting, but I'm so upset that they might stop production of this after the last filmed episode (episode 12, two more new episodes), that I haven't been able to get into it as much as I did the first two seasons. I just keep figuring that they aren't going to finish the season, so why get swept in it when I am not going to see the outcome :(

Not to mention, they canceled the Prison Break magazine after the 8th issue, so if that doesn't say that the show may be on the way out, I don't know what is.

Finally, I don't think the spin off they are planning when the writer's strike ends is going to be near as good.

  11. I decided to skip Epic Movie based solely on how HORRIBLE Date Movie was. That is the first movie that I have ever walked out of the theater on, so there was no way I was risking it with Epic Movie. Again, going by how horrible Date Movie was, I will not be seeing Meet the Spartans.

In the commercials, yeah there may be a thing or two that makes you chuckle, but once you get there and start watching, you realize that they put the funniest parts of the movie in the trailers. The worst part is, there wasn't anything all that funny in the previews. Seriously, if I want to see Britney Spears jokes, I'll turn on Best Week Ever.

  12. While looking through my Comcast OnDemand, I have determined that Foo Fighters have some of the greatest videos ever. Not just "Long Road to Ruin", but also "Big Me", "Everlong", and "Learn to Fly" are genius!

  13. I use FMQB, it's the website that tells you what songs radio stations can play and when they can start playing them. I just learned that Tantric is coming back, Alter Bridge has decided on their next single, and 32 Leaves just remade and re-released the single "All Is Numb".

So yeah, definitely a good site for radio singles.

  14. No love for the Gladiator Justice? Come on, he finished 3rd in Tough Enough 4!!

Plus, the one guy who was on Battledome and a big part of the WCW/Battledome feud!

Not to mention, one of the guys apparently is a former gay porn star! Talk about exciting!

I might watch, depends how far back Amazing Race is pushed, but I'll at least flip over during commercials.

  15. I don't mind Nickelback, though that might be cause that's all my mother listens to...

"The State" wasn't a bad CD, though. I liked "Old Enough" and their single "Leader of Men" wasn't bad at all. With their stuff after the first CD, though, I tend to be very picky. I like "Animals", "Because of You", "Figured You Out", "Side of a Bullet", "Never Again", you know, the slightly less-poppy music that they put out.

I can't stand stuff like "If Everyone Cared", "How You Remind Me", "Photograph", and "Savin' Me".

I used to listen to "Rock Star" all the time, but then it started getting played on pop radio, and the way they edited that so not to offend the censors turned me off of that song.

I think "Hero" was good because of Josey Scott, although some people hate Saliva as much as Nickelback, which I don't understand.

  16. No, I'm not going to make a top 100 list, I am just curious to see what everyone's favorite songs that were played on the radio or whatever were this year. Now, with mine (as usual, at least the past 2 years), I am going to list my top 15 songs this year. Yes, I realize some of the singles were on albums released last year (Billy Talent, Muse), but they didn't OFFICIALLY get released (see: have video or cd single) until this year, or they were released so late last year that I didn't have time to say they were one of my favorites last year (released in December).

Anyway, enough explaining, here's my top 15 songs of 2007:

15: Linkin Park "Bleed It Out"

This song reminds me a lot of "Faint", which was another favorite single of mine by them. Just a very fact, catchy beat. Definitely one of the best songs on the newest album...maybe not THE best, but one of them.

14: Bullet for my Valentine "All These Things I Hate (Revolve Around Me)"

Yeah, it was released in UK back in February 2006, so some of you are probably saying this doesn't qualify. However, in the United States, this single was released in LATE November, and those of us in the U.S. didn't really start hearing it with a video until December/January, so take that! Anyway, awesome song, and their new song "Scream, Aim, Fire" is awesome, so the new album should be good, too.

    13: Crossfade "Already Gone"

The iffy Falling Away album had one or two good tracks, and one of my favorites Crossfade released as a single this year. Not near as good as some of the stuff off of their first self-titled album, but deserves a spot up high, I think.

    12: Pepper "No Control"

Album came out last October, but they didn't start getting airplay until this song had a video in January of this year. Sounded like Red Hot Chili Peppers, it was another decent song. They also perform well live, as I saw at Warped Tour.

    11: Billy Talent "Surrender"

The fourth single off of Billy Talent II, released in April of this year, is one of the songs I could not stop listening to. I love Billy Talent, and it has got the BT elements, but there's just something about it that sets the single apart from a lot of the other stuff.

10: Silverstein "If You Could See Into My Soul"

I didn't like Silverstein when I first heard them. Too much screaming for my tastes. With their new album, my brother told me to give them a listen again. I fell in love, this is an awesome song. They are becoming one of my favorite bands, and I wouldn't have touched their album had it not been for my brother.

    9: Dropping Daylight "Blame Me"

The CD was released last summer, but I didn't hear of Dropping Daylight until this summer when they were touring with Skillet at high schools. I missed the performance, but checked into them. Next thing I know, their other single "Tell Me" is being played on XM channel Squizz. Before I know it, they release "Blame Me", and I remember why I bought their album and wanted to see them on tour with Skillet.

8: Muse "Map of the Problematique"

Thanks to some posters on this board, I am now in love with Muse. My favorite song on this album didn't look like it was going to be released, and I was a sad panda. Then, in June, when performing at Wembley Stadium, the released it as a live single, and it made me happy. Happy enough to make it my number 8 song of the year!

7: Smile Empty Soul "The Hit"

Another song that "technically" came out last year, in late November. However, in bum-fuck where I live, we didn't receive the album until January of this year in local stores, not to mention none of their music was played locally. I think that might be why I liked the song so much, because there was no overkill, I only heard it when I was playing it.

6: Three Days Grace "Never Too Late"

Ahh, Three Days Grace. I am prepared for backlash against my liking them, but whatever. They are one of my favorite bands out now, and from March (when it came out) until, literally, right now I still can not stop hearing it, because the pop stations have picked it up. The good thing is, I can't change the station when it comes on.

    5: Chevelle "I Get It"

I could not STAND "Well Enough Alone". I thought it was horrible, and I thought that kicking Joe out of the band was going to be the end of the band. Surely, I thought, if "Well Enough Alone" was as un-impressive as it was, the rest of the album would be. So, I ignored the album. Then I heard "I Get It", it's awesome, nothing like anything else Chevelle has done. I haven't picked up the album yet, but this song alone has almost sold me on it.

    4: Daughtry f. Slash "What I Want"

Yeah, I like Daughtry, so what, wanna fight about it? This and "There and Back Again" were my two favorite tracks off of his album, and I just couldn't stop listening to them. Forget "Home", "It's Not Over", and "Over You". This, "There and Back Again", and to a lesser extent, "Crashed", are the songs that should have gotten the airplay off of this album.

    3: Buckcherry "Everything"

While everyone else was listening to "Crazy Bitch", I was listening to the other stuff on their album. "Crazy Bitch" was such a...I don't know, but I wasn't fond of it. "Everything", though, is one of the best songs on the album.

    2: Papa Roach "Forever"

Seems like every album, Papa Roach have that one song that people can't stop singing. Admit it, everyone sang "Scars" all the time from their previous album, and although us wrestling fans hear way more of "...To Be Loved", "Forever" was an absolutely awesome song. Not the best, though...

1: Black Label Society "Blood is Thicker than Water"

Holy shit do I love this song. When I sat down to make this list, I knew that this was going to be my favorite song of the year. Nothing else even TOUCHED this song. I have liked BLS for a long time, but this song, for some reason, now stands out above everything else they've done. I have this song as a ringtone, as my start-up for windows, I just can't get enough. This year, nothing else even COMPARES to this song's greatness.

There's my top 15, hate on it if you want (which I am sure most of you will, but meh, whatever), but don't forget to post your own top 10/15/20, or whatever you want to do. If you want to only do singles like I did, use wikipedia to see your bands singles...I figure most people will just skip by this, but I thought it'd be interesting.

  17. I applied for "I Love New York", but I didn't get picked...which is probably a good thing. Didn't apply for the second season.

Anyway, the best obviously scripted reality show on VH-1/MTV is definitely "America's Most Smartest Model", seriously, they make me proud to be of average intelligence. Anyone else watch that? Anyone else notice that in all the little side interviews, they are wearing the exact same thing? They were filmed at the end and told what to say so they could twist the show around it, it's horrible...
