  1. I love Stewart when he's facing a serious debate and showing his actual knowledge and research on the topic. That was so great to watch; he just owned Cramer left and right, repeatedly. Cramer came off looking like an ignorant, arrogant fool; a hypocrite and a liar. Fucking excellent.

I don't believe they've signed with other teams, but the Eagles have made it pretty clear they have no intentions of re-signing the two men. So essentially, they're gone.

The RB is more of a concern to me than any other spot right now. Westbrook is versatile, but he's too injury prone and not powerful to run in between the tackles. I am hoping and praying they take Beanie Wells with their first pick, and then try and add depth to the offensive line. The depth is starting to get thing at tackles by losing Thomas and Runyan; Andrews is a great replacement, but the depth sucks. Winston Justice? Anyone remember that "great" performance he had two years a go against NY?
  4. I must say, I absolutely love that too, just because West Ham is currently sitting in 7th place, and I have (potentially false) hope that they can keep that spot and get into the UEFA Cup Europa League next year. I'd mark like a giddy little school girl.
  5. Yeah, I've discovered that they haven't finished downloading. However, they won't download at all now. I have no idea why; I just finished playing a game of FIFA online, so my connection works... it's just not downloading.
  6. I have downloaded Dammit, El Scorcho, and Polly, and none of these songs appear with all the other songs to play. What the shit? I've d/led Buddy Holly and Monkey wrench, and they work fine. Those 3 however, despite charging me 2 bucks and appearing in the music store as saying purchased, don't appear at all. What the fuck?
  7. Braylon Edwards is a better reciever than Berrian? Did you watch Braylon this year? I like the guy, but he's so fucking inconsistent it's unreal. You made the case that Berrian drops too many balls, but his amount of drops can't even compare to Edwards' drops. Poor example there. However, for the record, I agree with you that Berrian isn't as good as he's being hyped to be here. He's a deep threat reciever, but his route running is nothing to be applauded, and his hands aren't the best, as said. No matter who Fitzy's quarterback is, he's going to make plays. It's what he does. If Warners goes, all Leinart has to do is put the ball near Fitzgerald, and he'll somehow make the catch. Kurt Warner should not be the Cards' #1 priority this off season. It's Anquan Boldin. They need to work out a contract with him, or trade him. Part of me wants to see him get the contract and stay, just to watch defenses try and stop him and Fitzy, but the majority wants him to be traded... to the Eagles.
  8. Beckham Wants To Stay at AC Milan I think we all knew this was coming, and I know I hold no grudgs against Beckham for wanting to leave. He wants once last chance at glory, both on the club level and international. He cannot get that in the MLS, especially playing for the Galaxy (Then again, he plays for England so what real international success can he get with them? ). He helped increase the popularity of the league, and merchandise & ticket sales, which is all he ever was going to do. As a player, Beckham isn't even close to being the most talented player in the league. He did what he could to help the league, and hopefully the MLS can continue to build itself up, both in the eyes of the international world, but in America as well. As for the upcoming season, I'm not sure who I want to go with as a favorite. I struggle to see the Crew winning the Title again; just can't see Columbus starting a dynasty. With the rest of the East, all the teams are on the decline, it seems. New England's core unit is getting older, New York is inconsistent, and DC United has no defense or chemistry to match their offense. Kansas City and Toronto I see ending up at the bottom, although I would like to see Toronto get into the playoffs, especially with how loyal and intense their fans are. If Brian McBride stays healthy in England and plays well with Blanco on his return, I see some great things for Chicago. In the West, again, tough to call. Houston's also on the decline, Chivas isn't the same withou Guzan in goal, and Real, despite finishing 2nd in the West last semester, just doesn't seem to be a contender. Meh, we'll see how it goes
  9. While I think Pittsburgh still would have definitely won the game, not reviewing that incomplete pass - because it was an incomplete pass, not a fumble - taints this entire game for me. I had zero interest coming into this game - I'm a Philly fan; I thus hate Pittsburgh - but it was an excellent football game, especially that 4th quarter. However, to not review a questionable call at the end of the fucking Super Bowl, on a one possession game, is ludicrous. I cannot fathom the logic of how you don't review that call. Completely tainted.
  10. Yeah, fuck West Ham if they sell Cole. He's not a great striker, but he's the best we have left now. Ashton's as injury prone as they come, so whenever he actually comes back, he'll be hurt within 5 games. Di Michele can't stay on his feet long enough to create and scoring opportunities, Sears is too small and inexperienced, and Tristan, heh, waste of money. Cole can't finish, but he is improving at creating opprotunities quite a bit. You sell your only fit striker who can actually create chances to score, then I want to know, how do you score the rest of the season? Very few set pieces, which, West Ham isn't that great at converting from.
  11. Fucking awful. McNabb chokes the entire drive, and when he finally makes a good throw on 4th down, pass interference and another drop by Curtis. Regardless of the fact that Curtis got knocked by Hood, that pass should have been caught.
  12. Yeah, this is just fucking atrocious. McNabb can't make a decent throw to save his life, and the defense is absolutely horrible. I know the Cardinals offense is good, but the defense is too. They can't stop the run, and the coverage is awful. Fucking horrible. Eagles are showing why we've had no faith in them all year.
  13. As a diehard Eagles fan, I am rooting for an All-Pennsylvania Super Bowl. I don't like the Steelers, at all, but I fear them less than I fear the Baltimore Ravens. We've beat Pittsburgh already this season, and I think our defense can stop Willie Parker better than the combined efforts of McGahee and McClain. Plus, our D could wreak havoc on that o-line and Big Ben. We'd force turnovers on Big Ben trying to make a throw, while Flacco doesn't try to force as much. I think the eagles have a great chance to win today, but it's going to be a damn tough match. Arizona's defense is red hot right now, and well, clearly the offense will be tough to stop. I'm just lookign forward to a great day in football.
  14. FUCK CHELSEA! Bunch of lucky bastards. Beautiful strike by Lampard, but fuck Chelski.
  15. Rory fucking Delap. Oh damn, if Stoke somehow holds this upset... fucking amazing.
  16. So glad to see this one come. I was calling Gruden to get the can after they flopped the Oakland game. Fitting too, that Oakland is the team that ensured he would get shitcanned. Gruden did nothing in Tampa. He won a Superbowl with Dungy's players, and has done nothing since. He's kept with those core players for almost the entire way, and hasn't upgraded throughout. Where have his standout draft or free agent signings been? Gaines Adams has a chance; Cadillac is proving himself a bust by his inability to stay healthy. Davin Joseph is a solid guard and Barrett Rudd is a hard worker. But really, I just don't see what Gruden has brought to the Bucs during his stint to improve the team.
  17. Did anyone else notice that on 3rd & long from inside their own 2 yard line on that last drive, Joe Flacco really appeared to have stepped on the back line of the end zone before he threw? Me and my roomate both saw it and were callign for the safety, but it never happened. Sadly, no replay was shown either. Anywho, I can't believe Zona is up. Fitzgerald is a beast, and two big mistakes by Delhomme. If the Cards can keep this up though, I'll be amazed. Eh, make it 17-7 Cardinals.
  18. Besides Fugitives in Heroes, Chuck. Seriously, this show is epic. Not enough people watch it. Solid writing, and great comedy mixed with action.
  19. The header by Dempsey was utterly beautiful, great goal. And great save by Schwarzer on the other end. Defintiely deserve this draw. Oh, and Diego Tristan gets an easy goal off a Cole rebound, and West Ham's up 2-1 <3
  20. Ouch, poor Arsenal. Fabregas goes down in the first half, and Adebayor gets sent off on a horrible 2nd yellow card midway through the second. They'll be lucky to hold the draw for the next 20 minutes.
  21. Spoiler: Click here to viewI was a big fan of most of last night's episodes. The only thing I was not a big fan of was Nathan's total 180. I have no problem with him being evil, but going from wanting to give everyone abilities to wanting everyone with abilities rounded up? Uh, that makes no sense at all. Plus, by taking away people with abilities - the people, according to him, who can help defeat the evils of the world - contradicts everything about his prior stance.
  22. Yes, but you have to take into consideration that in games Turner has had to deal with the box being stacked against him and such. While I believe Matt Ryan has been phenomenal and will continue to develop and prosper as a quarterback, a fair bit of his success can be attributed to Michael Turner opening up the passing game and giving Ryan the option to hit Roddy White on the playaction, something we've seen produce touchdowns time and time again this year.
  23. Most definitely not. Matt Ryan has been spectacular as a rookie and played well, but you have to give Michael Turner a plethora of credit for opening up Ryan's passing game. Michael Turner, to me, has been much more valuable to Atlanta than Matt Ryan.
