  1. Wow, I'm really depressed with that. You go up 2-0, and then 2-1 with a man advantage... and you proceed to play like utter shit, and give up the 3 points? It feels like we lost today, even though, clearly, every point is needed to survive this season.

Brees doesn't have the recievers, but it's Drew Brees. Led the league last year in passing yards, and against Detroit, you know he's going to toss some TDs today too. Brees all the way, especially since Warner's hip may not be fully healed. I don't know what that status is, tbh.
  3. And in today's tennis news, Serena Williams proves to the world why she's a total cunt, and Kim Clijsters gets the most hilarious victory in the history of tennis.
  4. I am by no means a Tottenham fan (West Ham ), but I would still love to see them crush Man U today, and that opening goal was fucking epic.
  5. England's line up for tonight: Green; Johnson, Upson, Terry, Cole; Lennon, Barry, Lampard, Gerrard; Rooney, Heskey. Subs: Foster, Brown, Bridge, Milner, Defoe, Beckham, Crouch. I'm glad to see Lennon get the starting spot, as he clearly deserves it over SWP, Young, and Milner. The wingers have been disappointing for England, bar Lennon, although Beckham has played alright too. Green needs to play with the same composure he's had for West Ham, and Johnson needs to make sure he doesn't get caught up too far and burnt. I know Defoe's played so well - both for the Spurs and England - but I like Heskey wearing the back line down and lettign Defoe come on as the super sub. It's worked wonders so far, so keep it up, I guess. I like England to win tonight, as most of you do too, I imagine. The midfield has to keep working well together - although that doesn't happen a lot - and you Brits needs a steady performance from Green and Johnson. If that happens, coast to victory, gentlemen.
  6. Ouch. Arsenal is in firm control of this match, should've been up 2-0, and now down 1-2. Harsh.
  7. BAHAHA! I'm a West Ham fan, but even I have to laugh at that. That was just priceless, albeit pathetic and angersome.
  8. COLE~! That was a goal from nowhere, and pretty haggard, but it makes up for the goal Cole should've had from Stanislas at the end of the half. We deserve to be up right now.
  9. Yepp, that was a fucking blown call. Definitely should've been a penalty.
  10. And one run from Glen Johnson later, thanks in part to sloppy play by Gomes and Stevie G, we have a 1-1 draw.
  11. Hey, I'm offended by that. It's Liverpool that always get the later winner/equalizer. We only heard it about 38 times last season.
  12. But how many of them are fit for the start of the campaign?
  13. If I was a Tottenham supporter, I know I'd be scared that my club was running under the same transfer policy as Man City. Strikers, strikers, strikers, fuck the back line. I'd take both Bent and Pav over Crouch, so this really just seems like a bad buy. Although, Spurs are fucking crazy if they're planning on getting all their money back on Bent. He's worth 12million, I imagine, that 10-12 range, but 16.5? Eh, not so much.
  14. Blue Devils FC... yepp, that'll be me in the relegation zone this year.
  15. I really hope Everton don't sell Lescott, and I don't think they will. Yeah, they could get a good chunk of money for him if it's City buying him, but Lescott is a solid back and really helps hold that back up together with Jag. And like it was said, without Jag for the first few months, and losing Lescott, Everton would be pretty fucked. This is a team that needs its back line and Howard to hold the team together; a striking unit with Yakubu and Saha and Jo isn't going to strike too much fear into the hearts of the other team, especially when Yakubu is coming off of a nasty injury and Saha's always on the medic table.
  16. As long as Bradley continues to cut out the players who don't perform, I'm okay with him staying. He FINALLY stopped using Demarcus Beasley throughout the Confed Cup, which has been something that should have happened two years ago. Now, he needs to do it with his other favorite players, guys like Sacha Kljestan, Conor Casey, and Jonathan Bornstein. All 3 of these guys were horrendous in every match they played in throughout the Confed Cup. He needs to keep giving time to the kids who are playing like they want to be out there. Jonathan Spector has been brilliant this tournament, but only played because Cherundolo and Hedjuk both have been out. Same with Demerit, because of Bocanegra. Boc may be the captain, but a lot of the time plays with no heart or hussle at all. Younger guys like Adu and Torres should be getting more time in the smaller qualifiers and such, yet Torres doesn't even get named to the Gold Cup squad. That's my biggest problem with Bradley, his continued politicking when it comes to squad selection. It happens with all managers, but for a while, Bradley was doing a good job avoiding that. Now... not so much.
  17. There's no way Bradley will get fired, c'mon. He just took America to its first FIFA final ever... his job is safe until after the World Cup now, for sure. I wish it weren't, but that's another story.
  18. The T'Wolves will trade Lawson, so at least they aren't that retarded. Retarded yes, but not like a debbie downer level of retarded. Oh, and the Magic better know that Hedo had no intention of coming back to Orlando, and they damn well better re-sign Marcin Gortat, or that deal for Carter was absolutely horrendous.
  19. Well I don't think that will matter anyways because I believe the Americans will be fielding a weaker squad for the Gold Cup anyways.
  20. What the fuck? How was that a red card?
  21. I must say, I absolutely love Sergio Ramos. Always liked the guy, but after that beautiful assist he gave Dempsey, he's up there in my books now.
  22. As an American, let me just say, let the thrashing begin. In all seriousness, I do expect Spain to dominate possession and win by either 1 or 2. USA should just be happy to be here.
  23. I agree completely, naiwf. I could never get into Rafa... the dude's a fucking goat. Seriously, he makes Tevez and Masch look like beautiful butterflies. Plus, with Rafa out, it opens things up for Lleyton Hewitt to make one last good run at Wimbledon, and makes that quarter winnable for Roddick. He has no excuses for not getting to the semi-finals if his foot is okay after Queens.
