Revision3's Totally Rad Show looks at both film and video games (along with comic books) and has an MP3 version.

Make sure to catch Wild & Crazy Kids, one of the coolest Nick shows I'd ever seen before I knew what Nick was.
-
I'm a big big fan of Demetri, and if you are a fan of comedy then you'll love his cd. Best track is the Personal Information Waltz.
-
Something For Kate and Cat Empire next month.
Tegan and Sara in December.
Girl Talk, Falls Festival are both maybes for December/January.
Btw, if Maximo Park are coming to your local area - go see them. Paul Smith is an amazing performer.
-
I'd not heard of either of them, but I have a semi-reliable source who says no, they are not good at all.

Looks like I'll be pre-ordering Graduation on Amazon then..

Herpes, bonnanafanna bo-berpies! HEEERRRPIEEES!

It's not a cover. From Wikipedia..
"The song was co-written by Eric Stefani and Gwen Stefani and co-produced by Matthew Wilder. The bittersweet ballad is based on a true story on the turbulent relationship between Gwen Stefani and bassist Tony Kanal."

Got it a couple of weeks ago and my only problem was that it's too short compared to Be.
-
I saw it this afternoon, and thought it could of done with a few more gags, and parts of the story were odd even for the Simpsons. Great performances from Albert Brooks and Yardley Smith. A Solid ***

The Carps.

Saigon is pretty good for angry rap imo.
-
I'm seeing them in a few weeks YI, so I'll try and yell out CGAF during a quiet part of their show.

Hunt down the acoustic version of the Sacrament by H.I.M. I'm not crazy about them but that version sounds wonderful.

I had to laugh at the $10 convenience fee I paid on top of a NHL playoff ticket. I still have to pick it up at the arena, what's convenient about that?

A friend of mine is going to this show in SF and really looking forward to seeing Wu-Tang. It's a killer line-up for hip-hop fans, that's for sure.

Bit surprised that no-one mentioned that Buck 65 has a new album out.

She plays guitar? Since when?

I've only got one called VR Xtreme, which is a copycat of the kind of artists Virgin Radio Xtreme plays. I've been meaning to make some playlists, but I've been too busy sorting through incorrect ID3 tags and the like.

Word is that Will Forte has thirty stretch limo Hummers and he leaves them running even while sleeping.

This Children of the Future with added-value breakdancing is pretty bullshit.

Quite enjoying Snoop Dogg's set on the World feed atm, even if they learned from Live8 and censored the hell out of it.
Eskimo Joe sound horrible. Why am I getting bombarded with indie shite? -
The coverage is sucking the big one here in Oz, as we are getting the "World" feed which is basically song, 5-7 minute video about the earth, song, another video, 3-4 minute ad break, etc. If you are after live music, MSN has the best coverage.

Coming up for myself: Laura Imbruglia, Melanie Horsnell & Red Ghost, Sum 41 & Yellowcard, The Long Blondes, Arctic Monkeys (thank you ebay), Maxïmo Park (a gig I've been excited about since April), and Something For Kate. Still to consider: Patrick Wolf, Editors or Gym Class Heroes, Planet Asia (free show, but on a Thursday), Tilly and the Wall or Kaiser Chiefs, and probably a few others as soon as they are announced.
Kanye West - Graduation

I've listened to it twice now and I think you're spot on, it's better then Late Registration but not comparable to the College Dropout. It's a pretty mixed bag of tracks, with the good (Flashing Lights and it's killer Dre inspired drums, Everything I Am which probably doesn't need the scratches from Premo and Big Brother) but it's got the bad too (Homecoming is terrible, Drunk and Hot Girls isn't much further behind). Solid record but I think Kanye's came out with his best at the start and won't ever reach that level.
