Your Friday evening would be good, as that's my Saturday morning. Haven't played GTA in a bit but I'd be in for a session this weekend.

Jesus. Either he's been playing almost endlessly since launch, or he adores grinding mechanics. Both are rather unsettling thoughts.

'Do you watch video game Youtube videos?' Yes, a fair bit actually. 'If so, what do you watch and why?' Mostly Let's Plays. I watch a bunch of Yogscast stuff, as well as Hat Films and Achievement Hunter. I do also watch a ton of Rooster Teeth stuff but not all of that is video game stuff. I used to watch The Runaway Guys regularly but haven't in a while. I watch because it's entertaining. They give each other shit, you sometimes see spectacularly cool and spectacularly hilarious things happening, and they always seem like they're having fun. 'Have you ever made your own?' Thought about it once or twice. Would need to figure out hardware and software, but what usually stops me is the question of if I'd be any good at it > There is footage out there of me playing SWTOR with TKz, SRN and GoGo though. There's more video that TKz never released though, despite my badgering 'Would it sway your decision to buy a particular game?' Has done. Yogscast got me into Minecraft. Would stand to reason it may happen again.

I actually found that mission easy after a go or two >_> The riot van stumped me at first, but you can jump up on the wall from cover and chuck grenades which makes it easier. The bikes probably gave me the most trouble, as getting all of them with one grenade is nearly impossible. Added bonus of doing that mission: the car you're given is modded, and sells for $16,000. So it's worth doing for easy money, once you've got the hang of it.

Which mission is that, so we know to avoid it?

I can get you a Squirtle or Bulbasaur. The way Pokerus works is anyone in your party will spread it to uninfected Pokemon, but will also lose the ability to pass it on eventually. Anything in your box, though, will keep it until they've been in your active party enough to lose infectiveness. Also Sousa you should send me your Xerneas, I need it for dex

This generation's Victory Road isn't too bad. A lot of it is actually spent outside, and you get some good views. Also the Elite Four are pretty cool, and the Pokemon League building is spectacular. Push ahead Benji! You can do it!

The commercial jet - the Luxor I think - really is the best plane race option. It's the fastest by a fair margin, and being less maneuverable is not that much of an issue.

It wasn't even a race where I deduced ADG's rubbish at planes. We were doing Top Fun II, and I was the runner. I get in my Coquette, haul ass away from the start. I look behind me and see him after took off, and think "shit, better be careful". Ten seconds later, "AndrewDGray has committed suicide". I was just like "Well. OK then."

Shiny Venusaur, hell yes.

ADG you are not good at planes, are you?

Fairly sure Gravity wouldn't stop them anyway. Gravity only removes any Ground immunities and decreases evasion of everything on the field, but I don't think it prevents switching/fleeing. What you would want would be something like Mean Look, Spider Web or Block.

Well Arena Trap won't work as they're Flying. You'd need something with Shadow Tag to test it but I don't know; I haven't tried it.

There's one roaming legendary per game - Articuno if you picked Chespin, Zapdos if you picked Fennekin and Moltres if you picked Froakie - but rather than running into them and battling them, when you run into them they flee before you can do anything. You have to do this a dozen times, and then they'll show up at the Sea Sprite Cavern (or whatever it's called) where they can be caught.

I don't think it's quite every time, but moving to a new route is a trigger for it to move away. Best way would be to just move in and out of a route until you're both in the same place, then go hunting. This generation's take on roaming legendaries is super obnoxious and is the worst one so far.

I don't fucking believe it. Started breeding Bulbasaur to get a Chlorophyll one (and potentially to get multiple to trade on), and I bred a goddamn shiny Bulbasaur. Aimed for one rare occurrence, got an even rarer one.

So I don't think I'm going to bother battling any other randoms online. Just fought one who had a fairly bog-standard team, and an Yveltal. Since I don't use legendaries as a rule that is a bit of a handicap >_> On the plus side, one of my mates has a Dragon Friend Safari, so I got my hands on Rough Skin Gabite and Overcoat Shelgon (which means I can get a Moxie Salamence, which looks awesome).
