I think it depends on the level - I think I would prefer trade for the XP boost, but I don't even have a single badge yet, so disobedience may be a problem. Which reminds me, do I need to be at a certain point in the game to obtain this? The literature isn't clear, or I just missed it. Well you can only find them at level 25 in Y, which is where I found mine. I have an egg ready to trade over so you can just run around and hatch that if you like, that way it will obey you.

I believe it is possible to direct trade from X or Y to OR or AS, but there are restrictions on what can be traded to X and Y. Serebii has a thing on it, when I get home from work I'll put it up here.

I think I just blasted it with my Magnezone, paralyzed it, and then chucked balls at it. The only pain in the ass legendary I've had so far was Deoxys, but I still have a few legendaries to get my hands on, so it wouldn't surprise me if more of them decide to be shitty. Incidentally, given that some legendaries require you to have one legendary from each version, what version does everyone have, so we can sort out who would need to trade what? I have Sapphire.

Well whatever you end up doing, I suggest you save your Master Ball. The Deoxys fight in the Delta Episode is so goddamn frustrating that I used mine there. You could also possibly try mega evolving your Aggron to lose the Water weakness.

Also in Yellow your rival starts with an Eevee, and the evolution he gets depends on whether you win or lose some if the battles with him along the way.

The thing that makes me think the sceptre isn't also powered by an Infinity Stone is - as weird as it sounds - because the Tesseract is already blue. From what I understand the Infinity Gems are all different colours, so it'd stand to reason that the stones would be the same. That said, the sceptre being powered by an Infinity Stone would give Thanos sufficient impetus to come to Earth and get the Avengers involved in what I'm assuming is a plan for universal domination.

I think it's worth keeping in mind that TDW did establish the concept of the Infinity Stones in the context of the MCU. Before TDW the Tesseract was just an Asgardian relic, but after TDW it's one of the three Infinity Stones we've seen so far, along with the Aether from TDW and the Power stone from GOTG. It's kinda like how Captain America was the weakest of the first phase movies, but it introduced the Tesseract, which was vital to the plot of The Avengers. The way things are tracking you've gotta think Avengers 3 will have Thanos and the Infinity Gauntlet. Only question would be when the rest of the stones will show up I guess.

Yes, Thor's first impression with SHIELD was of a crazy guy who was after the hammer. By the end of the film, however, he had stopped the Destroyer wrecking more stuff and pledged to Coulson that his aim was to protect the Earth. And yes, he was - as stated by Fury - the reason Phase 2 came into being, so he certainly set SHIELD on the path they ended up on. That said, though, there is a gigantic difference between a government agency knowing about aliens and keeping it under wraps, and all of humanity knowing that aliens exist. Coulson touches on it briefly in Agents of SHIELD in one of the first episodes, where with aliens in the mix the borders between countries are starting to blur. Realistically, aliens existing would be one of the possible things that could unite humanity almost completely, and is a huge turning point. Also, Johnny got what I meant about forming the Avengers. They were "Avengers" when they met, but only because SHIELD had named them such. They weren't a team until after Loki attacked the helicarrier and killed Coulson. Stark tells Loki that he pissed them all off, and that was the impetus that got them to work together as a team. So basically, in his time on Earth, Loki tore the lid off the coverup of aliens existing in spectacular fashion - you can't get any more showy than portal to space above New York - and also was the catalyst for all of the known superheroes in the Marvel universe teaming up, to become a force to be reckoned with. The ramifications of that are enormous when you think about them.

GoGo was talking about villains, though. And really, Loki helped create the Avengers, while also contributing to revealing that a) aliens are real, and b) they just tried to kill everybody. The moment of aliens being revealed as existing is a massive one, as that would have a huge ripple effect on society if it ever happened. And yes, you could argue that started when Thor showed up, but from the way it's shown in the movies I believe SHIELD would have covered that up mostly.

So it's basically The Sims 1: Remastered. Yeah. Bollocks to that. Certainly won't be getting this at launch, or any time soon.

It would have been better if they had the right abilities though >_> From memory the only other shinies I've had are a Machoke from Ruby, an Altaria in Sapphire, an Exploud from somewhere (was Ruby or Sapphire but can't remember), and I think that's it.

Yeah Sousa's Friend Safari is how I got on the path to getting my shiny Venusaur. Was trying to breed Bulbasaur with Chlorophyll and got a shiny Bulbasaur with Overgrow. So that's twice in the same game I've gotten a shiny with the wrong ability >_>

Oh goddamnit. So I found a couple of Imposter Ditto, caught them, all good. Found another Ditto, looked away from the screen as the battle animation started, found out it's a) not Impostor, but b) goddamn shiny. So hooray, shiny Ditto, but boo, wrong ability >_> All done now Benji. Thanks mate
