Just finished Bioshock which was great but the ending let me down a bit.
Now playing Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe on XBOX 360 which is a fun game but I usually lose interest after 45 minutes and on PC I'm playing Cycling Manager 4 (because I have a crappy computer). It's lots of fun but tto bad it's so outdated.

That looks bloody amazing, can't wait for this to hit the stores!
-
I barely got away with a draw in this one, Eto'o struck the post in the 90th minute from point blank range. Once again me and Quasi draw in 90 minutes.
-
I just had the best of online wins.
Sometimes I pick a random team but first going into friendly offline, pressing x and choosing however the computer comes up with online.
This time it was Empoli so I chose Empoli while the other guy/girl chose Manchester United without hesitation. Of course he/she also couldn't resist putting C. Ronaldo next to Rooney upfront but alas I completely shut down his attack with a 3* team and scored 3 of my own (and I missed a penalty). Of course he/she quit during injury time but it still was satisfying!

Ajax is playing Marseille tonight. They have to win 1-0 or with a 2 goal difference to advance. So here is me hoping they will beat those french bastards 4-0
-
I'm all for a consolation round, and a 3/4 play off and a 5/6 playoff after that. Should be good.
-
Well my favourite team is Ajax and if I had to choose from the current squad it would be
Luis Suarez, he is hated by most people who don't support Ajax but he is a great player. Real South American and will do anything to win.
Gabri Came from Barcelona and proved to be valuable on midfield. A hard worker and Ajax needs that!
Rob Wielaert just came in from Twente in January but he proved himself already, leading the defense in a way that reminds me of Danny Blind in the mid nineties.
Kenneth Vermeer recenlty became first goalkeeper and already helped Ajax wion the match against Fiorentina. A great talented goalkeeper who makes impossible saves from time to time. More reliable then Stekelenburg recently
Miralem Sulejmani, because altough he hasn't been on top of his game recently you can see the enormous talent this guy has. He is only nineteen so we're gonna have a lot of fun from this one!

Inter vs. Atletico Madrid 3-0
Man I got my ass handed to me in this one. I was lucky it didn't end up in 6-0 cause AD certainly had the chances for it. From the very beginning Inter dominated the match and it resulted in a couple of chances. I thought I was lucky enough to hold a 0-0 untill halftime but after 42 minutes Ibrahimovic got trough on goal with a trough ball and he didn't fail, 1-0. Nearly 2 minutes later Ibrahimovic found himself in a similar situation and once again he made no mistake, 2-0.
In the second half Adriano scored with an absolute beauty from 25 metres that surprised the Atletico goalie who was beaten once again. After that Forlan had a chance when he was trough on Julio Caesar but the Inter goalie dived on the ball to keep a clean sheet.
Ibrahimovic 1-0
Ibrahimovic 2-0
Adriano 3-0
Oh well, I just have to beatr Quasi in the return to keep my chances of advancing to the next round.

It is kinda of a bitch to get it to work but what I did was download the latest adidas live season update from the main menu and immediately saved it. So don't go into ranked match and save your roster because when I tried that the roster just converted back to the one that came with the game. Hope this helps.

Good win Quasi. Good for you!
Anyway can't wait to play AD, he managed to beat Quasi and that's something I never did (within 90 minutes) so he must be a good player. I'll probably be online tomorrow around 7 CET so maybe we can play our match then?

I agree completely with metalman, I can do without the interludes but the trio Hazards of Love pt 1 - A bower scene - Won't want for love, is ace, absolutely brilliant!

Atletico Madrid - Chelsea 5-2
I felt pretty good about the first half where I managed to shut down the Chelsea forwards and score three goals myself. Maxi Rodriguez opened the score with a header from a corner. Soon after Simao crossed from the sideline onto the head of Forlan. In his first attempt het hitted the crossbar but he managed to get his head against it on the rebound to score the 2-0. Can't really remember the 3-0 but it was Forlan again.
In the second half Marsh brought on Kalou and Malouda who brought some much needed attacking power and it resulted in a couple of chances for Chelsea. The reward came when Anelka powered it in from an angle to score 3-1. But Atletico regained itself, Forlan was taken down while trough on goal and it was a penalty. Carvalho was lucky to get away with yellow . Forlan made the penalty and it was 4-1. The next goal came when Forlan was found at the edge of the penaltybox, he dribbled trough the defence and scored 5-1. At the end of the game Heitinga and Ujfalusi had a misunderstanding which gave Drogba the oppurtunity to score 5-2 and that was the end of it.
1-0 Maxi Rodriguez
2-0 Forlan
3-0 Forlan
3-1 Anelka
4-1 Forlan (pen)
5-1 Forlan
5-2 Drogba
Forlan is really becoming my go to guy as he scored 5 goals in 2 games
EDIT: I never lie

Barcelona - Atletico Madrid 1-1
Well a solid draw with neither teams clearly getting the advantage. Atletico got the lead in the first half after Forlan made a run on the right side, crossing the ball low to the free Aguero who could put it in the empty goal. The second half saw Barcelona putting on the pressure looking for the equaliser which came after Atletico goalie Coupet couldn't hold on to a a Messi shot. Messi was able to score from point blank range in the rebound.
Good match, shame I lost in extra time but luckily that doesn't count at this stage

Wow tough group, I'm definitely the weakest team in the group altough that doesn't say much. Anyway I look forward to beating all of you, especially Quasi, you lesser of the Dutchmen in this tournament !

I'm in! And I'll play as Atletico Madrid

My favorite has to be Trackmania Nations, it's so addicting.
Bloons would also be high on my list

Last night I had some good online matches, lost 1-0 against Arsenal playing as Tottenham but it could have gone either way. Then beated Portugal 1-0 with Russia after a near perfect attack. Got a cross in from the right side, Pavlyuchenko drew two defenders to him but managed to head it to Arsjavin who was completely free in front of goal to tap it in. Then playing as France I defeated Spain 4-3 with my fourth goal in extra time. Epic match with alot of great goals.
I'll be on in a couple of minutes if anyone wants to play a match.

This tackle by Bouaouzan is pretty terrible, ended the guy's career
-
I had fun playing the demo but I doubt I'll get it. Like the guy above me said it gets a little annoying when you keep getting killed with a single slash.
Also the LotR nerd in me is a little displeased as: Good side archers are hobbits... they should be elves and there is too much magic for a LotR universe.

I thought my first goal was nice enough, very nice pass trough the center into the penaltybox. Second one was a bit crappy, I don't like rushing and prefer a passing game.
Anyway it was a nice match, I like your playing style General, it's nice and balanced without you being afraid to tackle. We should have a friendly again someday.
EDIT: Hell I'll just edit in a little match report for the books
(The General)Fulham 0 - 2 Atletico Madrid(Animal)
Atletico got off to a good start in this tourny by beating Fulham. It wasn't a match for the neutral spectator as both teams battled it out on midfield with little excitement. Half way into the first half the deadlock was broken as Pablo Assuncao passed the ball to Aguero in the penaltybox. The young Argentinian striker didn't hesitate and put away the ball in the lower left corner. After that the battle for the midfield started all over with neither teams getting any good chances. The start of the second half saw Atletico putting on a bit more pressure but the only noteworthy chance came when Maxi Rodriguez struck the outside of the post. A trough ball to Aguero resulted in the 0-2 as he powered it into the net.
Fulham seemed to become more frustrated and Jimmy Bullard released his anger on a Atletico defender with a brutal tackle that got him send off. Fulham did come close to a 1-2 when striker Johnson went one on one with goalkeeper Franco but his attempt went wide.
So there you have it. I'm looking forward to the next game!

So can I still sign up?
Anyway my gamertag is DutchAnimal and I'd like to play as Atletico Madrid.
If not then oh well, I'll just go on playing Man U glory fans.

So what bands or artists, in any genre, do you think are going to hit the big time this year. For the Dutch side of things I recommend keeping an eye open for the Death Letters who seem emo but I've seen them live and they play pretty powerful rock.
Other then that I don't really know but I'd like to hear from you guys what you think.
Edit: Dammit, can someone fix the title for me?

Just found this: Achievement Unlocked
It has been fun, especially the sheer randomness that it seems to be in the beginning.
I will fight you to the death.
