Well, at least it's not Newcastle, the only place in Europe where you call someone a ''Head Coach''.

Guardiola is off in the summer, so it doesn't matter how much Pep rates him or not.
It still matters that he is riding the beach real good and people are starting to question if he really is going to turn into the top player people said he would be when he appeared.

Liverpool are mental for thinking they can get him for that price. Gotze is mental for going to a team that isn't even guaranteed European football next season.
Gotze has played 12 games all season and Guardiola doesn't rate him that highly. 15~20 million with 1 year left on his contract is actually a fair deal.

England should play Kane and Vardy upfront. Sit deep with two lines of 4 and counter attack with intensity on the wings, pretty similar to what Leicester is doing.

Best european player and most influential tactically of all time. What a legend.

Sissoko needs to stop running with the ball, then stopping when he's confronted with a defender and kicking the ball against their shins. He has zero end product.
Let him bomb through the middle and he's really dangerous. The best football he played for us was like that.

The only thing Anita lacks is height, but given how useless Janmaat is on the back stick it probably doesn't matter. Certainly a far better player and more likely to make stuff happen. It helped that Sunderland barely attacked but Sissoko did more at left back than he has anywhere else this season. He's the new Pancrate.
For an experienced ref Martin Atkinson is horrendous at dealing with time wasting, absolutely pitiful at times. 4 minutes, and a single booking on 90 mins in a game with time wasting from the first kick.
Sissoko needs to play on the center, and be given freedom to float around the wings, not be stuck on the left/right for the 90 mins. But that's not exactly going to happen seeing that we have 20 center midfielders and Townsend is our only actual option on the flanks. Cash in on Moussa in the summer (if we survive) and sign a proper player on the left.

Oh and one more thing, I like the idea of Anita as our starting right-back. Provided much more than Janmaat in terms of ball distribution and actually went to the byline.
-
Ref made some really weird decisions in the final minutes, killed our momentum. We needed this win, but it was nice to see us fight back
Aleksandar Mitrovic is my hero.

Much better than Paul Dummett.

4-2-3-1; Sissoko and Shelvey playing CM, Ayoze on the left, Wijnaldum on the center. Mbemba and Lascelles. Colback at LB. Probably our best starting line-up this season.

West Ham United are hopeful of signing Havard Nordtveit on a free transfer, with Slaven Bilic confirming his interest in the Borussia Mönchengladbach captain. The Norwegian midfielder’s contract runs out at the end of the season and although Bilic denied reports that Nordtveit has signed a pre-contract agreement with West Ham, the club are confident of beating off competition from the Bundesliga and Premier League. The 25-year-old was at Arsenal for three years before moving to Germany in 2011.
Solid player. Might be the last piece in the puzzle for their midfield.

My mate (Newcastle STH currently in Ghana) is really happy with Benitez (if it does happen) but I'm not so sure this is the right time for such an appointment. I get that something needs to change immediately but is Benitez the kind of guy to come in and get these guys playing and winning through these crucial last few games?
Granted, they tried 'get someone in to kick them up the arse for 10 games' with Shearer and that failed miserably, so maybe I'm wrong. If they stay up, Benitez is a great appointment going forward at least.
I think players would respect Benitez much more than they did with McClaren. With his CV, coming off a spell at Real Madrid I think he'd have the squad for the first week. A win at the derby would lift everyone up and the possibility staying in the Premier League starts to take shape.

Charlotte traded PJ Hairston, Brian Roberts and a 2nd round pick for cash considerations and Courtney Lee. I heard he plays good defense and shoots the 3, so it's alright. And we turned down Spencer Hawes and Al Jefferson for Dwight Howard. WHAT, WHAT

Newcastle is now after Sandro Ramirez from Barcelona, he's available for £8m, apparently.
-
Taking a look at Crystal Palace's strikers, I'm kinda glad Pardew wasn't in charge of transfers at Newcastle.
-
I'd like to keep developing Ayoze and sign a proper left-back rather than all these options.

So, Sky Sports are saying Newcastle and Tottenham are close to an agreement for Andros Townsend, the transfer fee being £10.5m.
Liverpool target Iñaki Williams has renewed his contract with Athletic Bilbao until 2021. His buy-out clause is set at £38.1m.
Manchester United are considering a move for PSG's Edinson Cavani.
Spurs have entered the race to sign Álvaro Morata. From what I've read, he's valued at £45m. Insane.
Southampton are on the trail for Porto defender Bruno Martins Indi.
-
I'm just hoping we don't pay 14 million pounds on Andros Townsend right now.
